One treatment, dang, I love these guys.

Sped through Wilderness at 8:45am with zero consideration for the wildlife, almost hit 3 Sandhill cranes trying to cross the street,and only slowed when they realized people were watching.

Grass is already greener with only 2 treatments and our lawn was horrible!! Plus they give lots of great tips.

I do wish they had a better way of communicating issues with your lawn a bit better instead of just writing some comments on an invoice. Courtesy calls from managers at the store would go a long way and a little education on what a customer can do to keep their lawn greener would be beneficial but otherwise the service is always on point

I never scheduled any service. Some guy shows up on my lawn and starts spraying. Apparently the driver couldnt find the correct address. You should confirm where you are before you trespass onto someones property.

We have had Grass Monkey for the past 6 months. The results have been great! I especially want to commend Julio he has taken pride in our yard like it was his own. He is friendly and very professional! He deserves a raise!!!!

Lawn looks great. Pretty quick turnaround in just a couple of treatments from the previous lawn company. If something is off, they answer when you call and resolve immediately!

Updated Feb. 2, 2023. Left lane blocked south bound Little Rd? Most likely a Grass Monkey truck with a line of cars behind him while the driver is looking at his phone. Happened again today. Finally get around the long line of cars hes blocking in the left lane, with about 1/4 mile clear ahead of him, and there he is, staring straight down at his phone. Grass monkey could be the greatest landscaping crew on earth but their drivers are going to kill somebody, and at the very least, have no regard for laws or safety on the road. This morning southbound on Little at around 7:15, a Grass Monkey truck cut me off on my motorcycle no less, the driver was apparently oblivious to this as when I got around him I could see his phone still in his hand facing him. Traffic is treacherous enough without giant landscape trucks erratically changing lanes while the driver is focused on his phone. That guy is going to hurt someone.

Frustrating experience. I called grass monkey and advised of days when I am home and days not to come as I work long hours at the office 45 minutes from home. Only to have the service agent still come on the days I told them not to & still charge me $53 even though they have no access to the back yard because the gates are locked the days I m not home. I call, explain my frustration, only to be told it was never documented of our previous conversation. No apologies, no anything. Never using this company again.

We have been using Grass Monkey for years and highly recommend their service. We are lucky to have Billy as our technician since we moved into our new house over 3 years ago. I love that we have the same technician and can always count on excellent service from him. Not only does he do a great job but Billy is always willing to answer any questions we may have, is very knowledgeable, and will make recommendations on how to keep our lawn healthy in additional to their monthly service.

They were great in the beginning. And the last few months they were slacking off. I have video footage of the driver practically skipping over my house. And they didn t believe me. I had to constantly call for service calls because there was always something wrong with my lawn. I had a fungus that they didn t even take care of. I switched to another company.

I used this company for 4 months because I wasnt happy with the other one but this one was worse, it rained almost every day I asked him why my grass was burning and it gave me a lack of water and as I said it rained every day later another one came and told me that the sun burns the very hot grass and there is a neighbor who gives him the sun and the same rain and they do not use any lawn pest control service company and they are better than my grass I cancel them and I take better care of my grass. and when I canceled they didnt even ask me why

I used them for a few years and was very happy with the results. I then noticed my lawn started having dead spots and developing a lot of weeds. I contacted them on two separate occasions and was told a supervisor would come look at the lawn and contact me. This never happened. I then contacted them again and the lady that I spoke with kept interrupting me and wanting to argue with me because she had a different story in the notes on the account. This is not a good attitude to have towards any customers, especially a long time and loyal one who had referred them to others many times.

Employee walked less than a third of my total yard and claims they sprayed the whole thing. Too bad I added more cameras that say otherwise. Canceled these useless sacks. Cheapskates water down their chemicals. I got on my hands and knees and pulled weeds before mowing, filled a 40 gallon trash bag. What the heck was I paying this good for nothing company for? My lawn looked worse than when I first hired them. If you wanna do your lawn a favor, either do not call them or FIRE them if you already hired them. Thank me later.

Very disappointed with this company. Multiple issues with having different technicians out. I caught one tech on my camera only spraying half of my backyard! Didn t even bother to get the whole other side. When I called in nothing could be done and the lady I spoke with could care less. They made it Very easy to part ways with them and wouldn t recommend them to anyone.

I just wanted to treat my front lawn and new sod on the swale. In a couple of days, they came by and did just that. Added the shrub package to fertilize some of my magnolia trees. Left me a bill and helped me set up an account with autopay. Easy and straightforward. They got their stuff figured out.

I started using Grass Monkey about 10 months ago and I can t say enough great things about their service. My lawn looks outstanding and their advice is always on point! They even came out when my lawn was damaged by a neighbors contractor and gave me advice and reassured me that the lawn would recover and it has!

Been using Grass Monkey for years for our grass and they ve honestly gone downhill. Our grass doesn t look great anymore. My husband wants to fire them but I keep giving them chance after chance because we ve used them for so many years. Our grass used to be beautiful, not sure what happened. I also just used them for pest control for the first time. They sprayed for millipedes twice around the perimeter and it did absolutely nothing. Paid them $80 and they obviously don t stand behind their work. VERY disappointing. Now I have to look for a new company who knows what they re actually doing.

Grass monkey has been AMAZING since the first call, every time Tim comes to spray he always knocks on the door, and tells us what we need to do, to better our grass, sprinklers not working, not turned right etc. he is very knowledgeable, and friendly! We get the best compliments from our neighbors for how thick and green our grass is :)

Had this service for almost 8 years and had a few complaints about the technician and my lawn. By the time I walked from the front of my house to the backyard, he was done.. This last time they actually killed some grass in my backyard and he blamed it on my lawn guy. I will not recommend them and I believe they water their products down.

4 stars for right now, only because I am a new customer. However, their service is a 5 star rating so far. I had used True Green for the past 3 years on a new lawn. I had yearly issues with iron deficiency, grubb worms, and over fertilization. I was left with areas of permanent dead grass that I will need to replace. Grass Monkey applies 1 application and my lawn looks just amazing! They are easy to work with and show up when they say they will be there and obviously know what they are doing.

Knowledgeable, proactive and not pushy. We got good results with a little bit of patience. They even had a perimeter treatment package. Always left their bill on the door and I was able to pay online.

The difference in our yard since using Grass Monkey is amazing. We always receive a reminder phone call the day before they come and there is no problem if we need to reschedule. Austin came out for our initial assessment and estimate, he was so knowledgeable and professional. He also lets us know when he has come by as a reminder to wait a few hours before we let our dog out which is much appreciated.

Used grass monkey for nearly a year. The tech assigned has absolutely NO attention to detail. See the attached photos - this area of my lawn was once beautiful. I had to request that more attention be paid to these weeds. I pay for weed control so that I can forget about it. If I m babysitting I might as well save the money and do it myself. Furthermore, this summer we lost about 500 sq ft of new sod due to fungus - tech was never able to get it under control. Lastly, I ve noticed chemical burn on my grass on multiple occasions. All these things have been brought to their attention with no change. I finally pulled the plug after the HOA sent me a violation notice for my sod!!!! Some of the techs may be great but ours was terrible & noticeably uneducated on grass care.

I am simply blown away by this company. Ray is my technician and he has literally brought my yard back from the dead in one month - read that again - one month. I had another company that was a little more expensive treating my yard with very inferior products. I could no longer stand how nice the other grass monkey yards looked. Ray came out and personally called my cell to tell me what was wrong with my yard. He gave me the start / stop / continue instructions for watering and mowing. This morning is one month after my first treatment. Hire this company - period.

I have had just about every lawn company in the area, and none have improved my lawn as much as Grass Monkey. Don always does a fantastic job and always goes over the plan for the month, as well as what I need to do on my end. Having a good lawn takes some commitment from the home owner as no amount of treatment will overcome a lawn that isnt cut or watered properly. Have Rod come out and show you where improvement can be made. You will not regret using this company, I promise you.

Donald is very knowledgeable in the treatment of our lawn. I feel we have one of the best lawns on our street and he treats several on our street. We tried other lawn services but have seen the most improvement with grass monkey. We highly recommend them.

Donald Zeller is the guy who takes care of my lawn in Avalon. I have the BEST looking lawn in the whole neighborhood thanks to him. He truly knows his stuff and is a expert at what he does. I have the nicest lawn on the block, and its all thanks to Grass Monkey. Anytime any issue comes up, they diagnose and fix it. This past week I had some dollar weeds popup, the guy said hed handle it, and 2 days later theyre all gone. These guys are awesome.

Edited They were great in the beginning. But unfortunately they ruined my grass. After six months of me telling them something is wrong bc my grass was deteriorating quickly. All they kept saying was either I was watering too much or not enough. I cancelled them out bc something was. Not right. Charged for back and front service. Rarely did my grass. If I was gone they would.show up and put a sign out that they were there. But cant get in the back back of the lock. I ended up with another company and was told had had a bug infestation. I am gonna end up replacing my entire front yard because of this and I live in an association and Ive received letters bc of the color and how my grass looks awful. Its not up to their standards. Im diagusted

I loved this company and told many people about how amazing they were for years. The last several months have been very frustrating and not like them. We have been having diseased grass, horrible ants, and weeds. They did one treatment and quit. We have been trying to get this resolved and the reason that they aren t doing nothing now is because they haven t received payment. I am not going to pay you to not fix the problem we were paying you to prevent in the first place. I have left numerous message even got the excuse you voicemail box was full not the case, then contact the other phone number on file then. I would love to get this resolved with them when they do good it is good, but this treatment is ridiculous. Very frustrated would like for the owner himself at this point to contact me.

Hired them 4 months ago and my yard has never looked worse. Lost $200 in plants because they have no idea how to kill pests. Pathetic.

Ineffective Customer Website. Unsupportive staff. Dont use. This morning I get a paper invoice on my door saying service was completed. Fine. However, there was nothing indicated on the online website portal that I would have this service done today (prior), nor was I notified by email or text ahead of time saying there would be a service. I only got an email saying for me to review the service that was done. Um....hello....that is like someone showing up and dropping off a steak dinner, you were not expecting, and then asking you to review how it was? How about send an email Grass Monkey or text saying there is an appointment scheduled in the first place??? It get better. So when I accessed the customer portal online, there was nothing allowing me to set up or cancel my services (only pay) which further irritated me. So then I have to call the support number and spoke a woman who said, you have to set up and cancel all appointment through the hotline. Huh? I explained this takes more time out of my schedule to have to call when I they could clearly set the up in their online portal so I dont have to call their phone number and waste time. Plus she never acknowledged the fact that I did not set anything up in the online portal for weekly service. She just kept quoting the gospel company lingo than doing anything to help. This is what I call a button pusher. Good at reciting info, not about hearing the customer and listening, then offering a solution to alleviate the issue. Great lawn service though. Aaron was friendly. Works for a ineffective company that sees their convenience as more important than what the customer has to deal with to keep the service in good standing.

They have revived our grass!!

Before we bought our house they were using trugreen. The grass was nice and green no weeds no pest. When we bought we signed up grass monkey a year ago it was a huge mistake we paid a year in advance for a discount which really wasn t. We have brown patches and weeds everywhere. I called and complained they sent a tech out he didn t have a reason it looked like it did. But did an extra treatment which didn t help. This last time I got 4 different appointments dates and times which is weird cause they were at my neighbors house but canceled mine and set it for the next day never showed then I got a text for another day and they finally came out today when I was gone. I canceled today will take my business elsewhere.

We found this company by driving around our neighborhood and seeing a lot of beautiful lawns that they were servicing. We have been very happy with them. They are locally owned and operated. The office staff is friendly and responsive. We had a very minor issue and the owner came out the next day to resolve it. Their price is equal to or better than every other lawn company that has called, mailed or visited. One price covers grass, trees, plants and bugs. DO NOT waste your time with ANY other lawn treatment service.

Diagnosed the problem immediately. Treated it twice in the first two weeks and only charged for one treatment. It went from dying and brown to green and recovering very nicely very fast! I would not have known it was a pest problem and not disease. These guys seem to be pros so far!

Grass Monkey is awesome! Moved into my house in Land O Lakes last year. Lawn had some major issues....Chinch bugs, massive amounts of weeds, bare spots, etc...Wasted a bunch of money trying to fix it myself. The great thing is they come out every month, unlike other lawn companies. They identify and fix any issues quickly. They also give you a detailed report of what was applied after every appointment. My lawn looks great compared to before I decided to go with Grass Monkey. Do yourself a favor, and give them a call. These guys know what theyre doing. FYI....I am an actual customer, not being reimbursed in any way. Just very satisfied with their service.

Does not keep a consistent schedule. I understand rain can affect things but weve gone from Monday mornings through various times during the week to Friday afternoon. All without notice. The only option of paying seems to be via check (or cash Im sure) in person. My gate is left open consistently. He gets the job done but not professionally as I would prefer.

Just started using Grass Monkey one month ago, after spending years using different companies with varying results, I can say im absolutely amazed of the results in just a single treatment. Our lawn is back to looking as great as it did after 6+ months of treatments from competing services and we are even noticing a problematic area of our yard that gets constant sunlight looking better then it ever has. I was skeptical when Devin promised we would have a completely different lawn in 2 months, but the results definitely speak for themselves and I cant recommend him enough.
