Green Thumb Unlimited in Port Richey

I recommended Green Thumb to a close family member. First we had them install sod In the back yard and everything turned out great! The grass rooted and thrived! We called them out to sod the front yard and we didn’t get such good results. After a few months of watering sufficiently, the grass never fully rooted and grew properly. I’m thinking that maybe surface underneath may have not been prepped properly before laying the sod. The grass never grew properly from the start…even after watering it at their suggested intervals. I tried contacting the company and they didn’t really seem to want to help us out. Maybe they could’ve at least come out to see the grass before telling us there’s nothing they can do. A lot of money was spent on this job and now we will probably have to get the yard redone. We understand that sometimes these jobs may not turn out the way we want them to, but we would’ve liked more attention from the company.

I used Green Thumb for a tree removal and stump grinding. Eric and the guy working with him were great! The next day, Buddy came to do the stump grinding and he did an excellent job. He did even more, above and beyond!!!!!! Kelly in the office was very helpful!!!!!!! Five prices as estimates, two no responses, three prices, Green Thumb the best!!!! Highest recommendation!!!!!!

Great company to work with and Eric takes pride in and backs his work. I first hired Green Thumb to replace sod that was damaged when my pool was constructed. Then Eric designed and landscaped around my pool. I asked that he make an area a focal point and he nailed it! We were so pleased with the back we asked Eric to improve the front and sides of our house and he again created a beautiful design for us. Eric will discuss the project with you, draft a design, and modify the design until it is exactly what you have in mind. He also backs his work and today replaced a large palm tree 1/5 planted that did not do well. No questions asked, he scheduled and replaced this 7 month old 8 foot palm tree. I didn’t have to fight with him or call him 50 times. I mentioned that the tree was not doing well and that fast, the replacement date was scheduled. Who else does this? I recommend Green Thumb and know that you can trust Eric to do a great job and back his work. Thank you for making my pool area and house landscaping beautiful.

Eric and his crew have done many things for us, the latest being an overhaul of our front plantings. Not only did he help with the design, he was back twice after planting to make adjustments to the layout. He is truly a customer satisfaction based service provider.
