Thank you Russ, Jeri- Marie and team for all of your hard work!! First class work. They were on time, and accommodated my schedule for me. They are licensed and insured and the prices are amazing. They earned my business going forward. Russ had a tough tree to take down. With his expertise not one thing on my house or porch was damaged. He knew exactly how and where to drop the limbs. It was like watching an artist work. Excellent work to all. I'm excited to see what you guys can do with my back yard trees.

Florida Cutz is Awesome! We couldn’t be happier with the job they did for us! They are reasonably priced and professional. Our yard looks great where they trimmed and love how they took out an old tree that had been damaged. We will ask for them to come back in January to trim our Crepe Myrtle and help us get our landscaping done.

After getting 3 other quotes, theirs was just the right number. Their work trimming my sea grapes was impeccable! Amazing clean up after the trimming was done. HIGHLY recommend! In my contacts I add a + sign for preferred contractors but they got 2 + signs which tells me to Always call them first.

We purchased a new home in June 2023. Russell Clark, Owner of Florida Cutz came recommended from another company. We paid for the sod and delivery on our own and contracted him to install on our entire property (over 8,000sf). We scheduled the delivery and install to coincide with the day we moved in. Russell and crew showed up as planned, we moved into our house, and proceeded to unpack for the next couple of weeks. 2 weeks after moving in we noticed our sod was dying? We've never had sod installed before so we had no idea why this was happening. We discovered that when Russell and his crew installed the sod, they not only double layered the sod (which prevented the roots from reaching the soil), they also covered up almost every sprinkler head on our property. He also mistakenly programmed our sprinkler system for 10 minute zones vs. 1 hour per zone as recommended. We immediately contacted Russell and sent him pictures of our dying sod. He was very responsive, came right over, apologized and said he would do whatever was necessary to fix the problem, including replacing the sod out of his own pocket. For the next week my husband and I walked our property, literally with our ear to the ground, hoping to hear water to uncover each and every sprinkler! We also had to spend more money to have a sprinkler company come and clean all the heads. But, we were happy knowing Russell said he was going to do the right thing, and this was just a "hick-up". We even signed a weekly lawn mowing service contract to give him revenue to help him pay for our replacement. Then something changed. He was supposed to come replace the sod the weekend of 7/1/23. Friday, 6/30/23, Russell sent me an email that read "We wanted to reach out to you and apologize for not being able to reinstall the damaged sod this weekend like we had hoped due to a shortage of the St. Augustine Sod that your property needs. The new shipments will be arriving Monday which we have already pre-ordered. We will be completing the sod installation this weekend. When we are on our way we will let you know. We really appreciate your patience and understanding with this issue. We will be at your property tomorrow afternoon for your regular weekly service". We were ok with that. The weekend of 7/1/23 came and went. We never heard from or saw Russell again. Not even for our "weekly service" which was the mowing contract we signed. He has never returned any phone calls, text, emails, or voicemails. We had so much on our plate with the move, we figured ok, maybe he had something come up. We know he has a young family and we still had faith in him. My husband actually had several heart to heart conversations with him indicating we understood replacing the sod was coming out of his own pocket and we wanted to work with him so he could do a little at a time. We also have so much money already invested in this disaster of a lawn. Second week of August 2023 I sent him more texts and another voicemail. He was always so responsive so we truly hoped nothing terrible happened to him or any of his family. And still no response. Then, on 9/11/23, I made one last attempt to allow him to regain our confidence and fix our lawn. I left him one last voicemail stating that again, we hoped he and his family were well, we really just want him to do the right thing and all the "no response" was in the past and would be forgotten. That we understand things happen, we still had faith in him, and would still be willing to work with him. I basically begged him to please contact us. Still, nothing. It absolutely pains me to write a bad review because my husband and I are such forgiving people. However, I refuse to be taken advantage of and it's unfortunate. Now I am forced to contract another landscaper, purchase new sod and invest more money to replace this disaster. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB. Moving into a new home is supposed to be an exciting time. Russell and Florida Cutz has truly made it an extremely costly nightmare!

The owner himself came to do my yard. They were on time , Friendly and most importantly completed the job in a timely manner & at a great price. I often find when the owner is hands on the level of customer satisfaction is prioritized.
