Coastal Mowing did an amazing job cutting down all the thick pepper trees and brush on our property. Their expertise and extensive knowledge about trees in Florida is so helpful to us newcomers from out of state. Dennis and his team brought several different kinds of equipment to get the job done. They preserved the trees we wanted to keep, and mulched the invasive pepper trees. The price quoted was reasonable and affordable. We are so excited to have canal views from our lanai. Thank you!
I would highly recommend Coastal Mowing & Tree for your next tree removal project. Dennis came out, explained the work to be done and provided a very reasonable quote. (A much better quote than some of the smaller mom & pop outfits out there). His team arrived promptly as scheduled and completed the work. They removed 5 trees in an adjacent lot that had been damaged by Ian, removed all the debris and left the yard looking spic and span when they were done.

Coastal is the best all around for prompt, knowledgeable service. We had them clean up our horribly overgrown and out of control palm trees today. Dennis is an arborist and really knows his stuff. Awesome Company. So unusual to deal with such a professional business. Phone was answered promptly & professionally. DENNIS BELL ( Certified Arborist) scheduled an appointment with us right away. He provided us with a written estimate ( very reasonable estimate) & came the following day and removed 2 dead trees & stumps for us. He also identified the cause of our palm tree dying ( fungus) & advised us NOT to put another palm tree in that location as the fungus is in the soil for at least 5 years. Thank Goodness he advised before we wasted HUNDREDS of dollars on a new palm tree. He offered some advice on alternative types of trees that could be planted there. I was so impressed with his work ethic and quality of the work. I highly recommend this business. Call him, you'll be happy you did
Highly recommend this company! I’ve used them for all of my tree work. They cleaned up a bunch of branches that I didn’t even care about. Since Ian there has been a lot of damage to the trees around my home, and they are hanging over the roads and close to my house. I’m so happy to be able to have the most important, and threatening ones removed. Reasonable prices, the crew do great work, and I never hesitate to recommend them. Thanks guys!
I checked this company out on Home Advisor first and found 47 reviews and a 4.9 rating. Dennis Bell and his crew came out to remove a dangerous trree from our home. It was gone in no time and loaded onto their truck for removal. The stump was ground up leaving no evidence that the 80 year old tree had evre been there!

Unfortunately I do not have photos to share. However I cannot say enough good things about Dennis and his crew. Denniss crew took down 2 pine trees a couple of years ago adjacent to the 6 taken yesterday. I am amazed at the equipment. Every movement went so smoothly. A Hugh remote control stump grinder- -amazing!! A machine and operator clamps onto a tree and feeds it into a chipper. A job that would take one person days to do was completed in just.over 3 hours. Thank you and your crew for such a clean and efficient job well done.

Best place EVER!
Our lot was filled with Brazilian Pepper trees and Native Grape. We had it mowed down by another service twice and there were log chunks l to 5 feet long, as well as a pepper tree trunk about 4 feet in diameter with radial roots going out many feet from the base. There were huge blocks of tee trunk lying around the perimeter of the stump. We wanted to be able to use the lot this year. I sent a message through Coastal Mowing and Tree . The next Day, Dennis called and fitted us in his schedule to look at the lot later in the week. Dennis arrived on time and said he could help us. The next morning he was there with a very fancy machine of which he sharpened the blades before the job as he does before each job. In 2.5 hours the lot was transformed to mulch that will break down quickly. Dennis was very careful in the way the wood was released from the machine for safety and leveling. Everything was pre-explained and questions answered. The price was very reasonable. We will continue to use Coastal for our future needs. We are super happy!
We have had several trees removed and work done in our lot by them 2 times, and Dennis and his team are always professional and easy to work with. They do a great job and are reliable hard workers and honest!! I would recommend them to anyone!

Very knowledgeable crew. They showed up on time and worked non stop doing a fantastic job at dropping 3 large trees without damaging my pool cage or vinyl fencing. (Sometimes things happen) but not this time. They ground the stumps down to a level yard and it looks great. I had two other estimates and Coastal was by far the best price. Would recommend them anytime.
Awesome work I called because I googled tree service first one listed in area saw 5 star rating. So I called no answer leave a voicemail and within 5 minutes I got a call back from Dennis Bell. He said he could come out tonight and get an estimate was very fair he came out the next day cut out trees made it look nice! Highly recommend

First time I ever wrote a review. These guys came and trimmed 4 oak trees, 2 queen palms and 2 brazilian pepper trees. They were amazing. First of all it was very hot with a heat index of 101. They even raked the lawn and it looked way better than before they got there (which the lawn guy had just done). The price quoted was hundreds less than the two other quotes. I highly recommend them for best price and excellent work.
I am a geological engineer with a career spent working with heavy equipment. I have a one acre vacant lot that had several large clumps of Brazilian Pepper plants and a few large Melalleuca trees. I interviewed a few contractors and hired Coastal Mowing. They showed up when they said they would, did the work I hired them to do, no excuses. The property looks great. I give these guys my highest recommendation. If youre looking for a git-er-done type of contractor, professional, all action and no talk, look no further. These are the guys. Coastal Mowing Port Charlotte, FL I had a large heritage live oak that had broken a waterline in the utility box. I asked for recommendations on FB, and Coastal Mowing was mentioned multiple times. I spoke with other companies, however they never gave me a written estimate, and I was told the price would be less if I paid in cash. Those other companies verbally quoted higher estimates even with paying in cash, and told me it would take 2-3 days to complete the job. Dennis came out, and gave me a written estimate before leaving. There was no question as to the cost, and it didnt fluctuate the longer we spoke. After getting my permit from Charlotte County, I immediately called to schedule a day for removal. Coastal Mowing was available 3 days later. The tree was removed, I asked for the chips for a large planing bed, and I had 2 stumps ground down. All the brush was raked up, the driveway and surrounding areas were blown clean. Holy Cow these guys are top notch! Great prices, great service and very knowledgable. Defintely worth getting these guys to come give you an estimate. Had a dead Bismark palm, they were $100 less than every other estimate, came cut, hauled away and stump grinded. Definitely recommend.
