Samantha was prompt. She was very friendly. And she did a nice job and she came to my door when she was done to let me review the work and explain what was done. I wish more Service employees were like her.

We had brand new sod $10,000.worth, and hired Massey. Weeds came took over and as we complained over and over no one ever came out to respray. When they tell you they come back it’s bs. I now have a lawn minus any grass just weeds. It’s heartbreaking after all of the work and money. They did send me several last bills that I refuse to pay so I know their billing office works. Never again. This site won’t let you add pics if your rating is one star so I’ll try and post somewhere else but believe me I’m posting on every site I know.
Ms. Samantha is fantastic, thoughtful and thorough with her system inspection and repairs. Highly recommend her for your lawn irrigation systems.

Stay away. I have one more application left on a prepaid year and it looks like they have never treated the lawn. Still weeds the same or worse since they started. They also "came out" for an application one time, but never actually did the application. They were here for 5 min or so and planted a 'massey was here' flag and left... security camera proof. After notifying them, they did come out and do it, but still...how very dishonest and lack of care. Use at your own peril. If I could give no stars I would. They're probably just watering the lawn with no treatment for all I know.
Unfortunately, Massey has not taken care of my lawn as they promised. The only showed up to actually spray one time. My lawn was inspected by two other Companies and found that I have Fungus growth and Chinch bugs. I hired them in January of 2024 with them to start spraying the 1st week in February. The manager Henry for the Lawn side of things has been on site 2 times, the first time is because they missed their Bi Monthly schedule, and I had to call to get them on site. This was not the first missed appointment. I had to call to get them to show up to spray and install the plug I purchased in January. He hand spread fertilizer, that time. The second time was when I called again due to a threat to cancel the service. He promised he would be on site himself every other week, and that he put it in his calendar to make sure he would be out. Here we are and still a no show for service. He also told me he would be out the week of memorial day to review my sprinkler system with me to make sure things are getting watered properly. Go figure he did not show up and I did not get a call or anyone else to show up. The best advice I can give is to call someone else other than Massey for your Lawn needs, as they have proven not to be dependable. I paid for Bi-monthly service and have to call to get any service. FYI I canceled my service and they are telling me it takes 6 weeks to get a refund. Amazing, how they could pull the money in less than 48 hrs, but it takes them a month in a half to give it back. Approach with caution. The Massey Service at 17303 Abbott Ave, Port Charlotte, FL 33954 is not a location to do business with.
Samantha Bailey performed a quarterly system check in the cold and rain with a smile and efficiency making sure everything was working. She took the time to clear one of the sprinkler heads even though it was raining and she was cold and wet from working on the neighbors irrigation problems. She has a work ethic that you just do not see in others her age. Take care of her, she is an employee you do not want to lose.

The Massey service tech works hard and spends a lot of time spraying our large yard so we can t figure out why they can t get rid of some of our weeds. The broadleaf weed s seem to be resistant to their sprays. The technician has come out and sprayed additional times in an effort to control this ongoing issue. They don t give up easily that s for certain! So we ll keep working on the weeds with Massey for a few months more since they seem to care how our yard looks and our satisfaction. They are more reasonably priced than the company we previously used. I would recommend them despite our ongoing issues with some turf weeds.
Shanna Adkins, Greg DeNinno and Shannon Reeve , and our bug guy, Jonathan, are outstanding. I worry about nothing! They do great work!
Louis is our lawn service technician. He announces himself at the door before beginning services. He is always polite and professional. He fully explains what services he is providing in the visit, anything we need to do (i.e. water the lawn) and what services will be provided in the next visit. He is very responsive to questions and requests. He acts as a full agent for the company even if services are outside his standard responsibilities- providing quotes for other services.
Very nice lady. She took her time and did a very good job. She has been one of the best so far. Keep up the good work Shanna Adkins. Mr.Werner 3/1/23
Today Shanna Adkins of Massey Services came to fix my irrigation system. The system is old & has not been working as it should. Upon arrival, Shanna rang the bell & let me know she was working on the system. She worked quickly, precisely, & quietly so that we were not disturbed. At the end of her work which was slightly more than an hour, she let me know what had been done & that the system was working well. The number on the survey card was 115.
Had Massey maybe 6 months for my lawn fertilizer and pest only. Lawn eventually turned light green recently, called for service, New Manager said he would call me 4 days later on a Monday. He was very unconcerned with my issue the way he spoke. Monday and Tuesday came and went no communication. Also, never got lawn aerated as they are supposed to do. I have ended my service.
The lawn tech was very knowledgeable and took time to explain the process he was using.
This was the first time a technician came to my home to apply fertilizer. My initial response would be. It was better than the last company, but not nearly as good as it could or should ve been. I m a stickler to details and if getting within a foot or two of trees streets sidewalks is what they do then I would say they are not very detail oriented. I m hoping the next time they come to catch the technician before he starts working and let him know that I need all areas done not just the easy areas for what it cost and they are not cheap. It should be done perfectly.

Shanna Adkins did a replacement on a termite bait holder when our s got broken. She was very efficient and did a great job!
Asked for a irrigation system tune up. They came out and didnt knock on my door. All they did was cut the grass around the sprinklers and left. Sprinklers are still broken and unserviced. Dont waste your money on them.
The Massey irrigation tech was outstanding. He corrected the leaks in the irrigation system and gave excellent instructions on regulating the sprinkler system.
