I've relied on Superior landscaping for all my outdoor needs when I'm out of town, and they have consistently gone above and beyond. Chadd and Mark are trustworthy professionals who provide excellent care and advice for my landscaping. They are true assets, and the first call when discussing anything landscaping related. I couldn't be more satisfied with their services. Highly recommended!

Superior does a outstanding job Mark Levin is a big help to me and gets things done. The workers do a great job.

I had them level my yard and then seed. I called them and let them know I had some thin spots that the grass didn't grow in. They sent someone out to reseed and he told me he would check back in the spring to make sure I was 100% satisfied. It's great to know they care about my lawn as much as I do.

From our first contact with Superior Landscaping, we were impressed with this company. Our request was courteously answered promptly. After briefly describing our landscaping vision with project designer, Sarah, we scheduled an appointment to meet with her to discuss plantings, materials, budget, and potential start date of our project. Sarah was amazing. She understood our planting preferences, offered her expertise to remedy trouble areas, researched hardy pollinator friendly plants and shrubs, as well as the materials to insure the soft, natural design of our landscaping vision. The Superior Landscaping crew were professional craftsmen, intent on customer satisfaction and excellence in their work. Paver stones were installed solidly and seamlessly, and mitered corners were perfectly cut. Plantings were placed perfectly. Attention to detail in their work is obvious from first contact with Superior Landscaping all the way through the project to the final walk through to confirm the customer's satisfaction. Superior landscaping are the worst landscaping business in Livingston co. The are to expensive they never r on time n that's even if they come n the type of work they do u could get done by paying a 14 year old kid 20$ after they r done u look at your lawn n say why did I pay $50.00 For

The people seemed okay, but I don't plan to return. I was given a price per pound for rocks and was told that the owner would estimate the weight. He did and then, after the rocks were loaded, charged more than the quote. Soon after that experience, I found a place not too far from Peoria that had a far better supply with much easier access and actually weighed and charged what they quoted.

We requested Superior to come out and lay grass seed in an area of our yard that we had bushes taken out and level our patio pavers (1/3 had sunk over time). They laid rock and edged around a tree in the grass area, and that turned out ok. They did not edge along the fence line however (Chad Mennenga did make a point to tell me that they did not plan to do this but it would be ok). Well, our fence has 3" gaps and now there are rocks all in our yard and our neighbors yard. We will have to fix this somehow. The worst of it all is that 80% of the grass seeded area has come in as weeds. When contacted, Superior replied with "we do not warranty Mother Nature." So we are stuck with mostly weeds that we paid $510 for. The pavers turned out fine where they lifted the previously settled. They also resanded the whole area in the joints to prevent weeds from growing... They left 1 paver sticking up 1/4", and it is still a tripping hazard. So we will have to pull this brick up and relevel it ourselves and resend the joints. I am assuming they could have stomped on it before they sanded between them or easy leveled it with all of the equipment they had, but instead they chose to set around them, leaving it sticking up and a tripping hazard for my 2 small children. Most annoyingly I asked to be notified before anyone was coming, so I could make sure my dogs were properly kenneled. And, As a stay at home mom with 2 children, strange men walking through the back yard is just something I wanted to be prepared for... but I was not notified. It took over 6 weeks to complete the work and 3 different visits to the property. So ultimately we spent $1600 on work we have to redo half ourselves and waited over 6 weeks for it to be done while they held my 50% deposit. My exact words when I contacted them about the work were - "we do not have time or the skills to even grow grass, so we defer to you the professional to make this work happen." and he did not fulfill on his quote. I would not hire them again.
