Stewart & Stewart Landscaping Inc. in Ponte Vedra Beach

I have sprinkler system installed through ICI with this company in Tamaya . Line broke in 10-12 days of installation with huge water bill and repair . ICI doesn’t cover in warranty for irrigation workmanship, I believe it’s poor workmanship as it happened within 10 days and it happened at the irrigation line . Wanted to put forth my experience so that future customers are aware of this Irrigation company

My wife is a realtor and we have flipped 17 homes over South and North Florida. We recently used Stewart and Stewart for our landscaping and only wish we would've found them sooner. They have been in business for 40 years and they take tremendous pride in delivering above and beyond expectations. From the owner, to brothers, kids, nieces, and nephews they truly care. I was sent text and picture updates when items were completed. It was a family effort from start to finish. Laine helped my wife with the design, her husband Matthew designed the lighting and helped orchestrate everything along the way, Laine's brother helped direct the crew on install day, Shane and his crew did an incredible job on sprinkler coverage. I also utilized them for underground drains for the gutters and plan on using them for lawn pest and fertilization. They are truly a one-stop shop when it comes to home outdoor needs. High quality plants, competitive pricing, impeccable follow up, courteous and clean. We won't be using anyone else, but Stewart and Stewart moving forward for our flipping needs.

Used for a couple of years and suffered various mishaps throughout my time with them. Carelessly carved tire marks in my lawn when taking break neck speed turns. Scalped grass in several areas causing issues with growth. Sprayed plants and grass while applying weed killer, killing some of my good plants and grass. Cut my hose extension twice. Cut wires attached to my yard lighting. And the final straw was they cut into my irrigation piping. There were a couple other issues but don’t need to showcase anymore problems to get my point. Do not think they are a professional service. With so much yard care competition out there, I’ll take my chances with someone else. Wouldn’t recommend.

Stewart & Steward did a great job with our landscaping and professional landscape lighting. The crews led by Matt and Jason did outstanding work despite a lot of difficulty caused by the pandemic. They transformed our home and I could not recommend them more highly. You will be very pleased when you hire this Team!

I ordered lighting from this company after talking to Matthew Wolff. Wow was I pleasantly surprised. Matthew kept me informed throughout the entire process. He was polite, professional and knew his products. I truly enjoyed working with him. I highly recommend this company for your lighting needs. My lights are of good quality and look great.

Stewart and Stewart did a fantastic job with our landscaping and lighting. After our consultation they came back with a detailed plan Including pictures of all the plants. They listened and captured the look we were going for. Bert and Matthew work seamlessly together to get the perfect lighting to accentuate the entire property. They’ve been really helpful with any questions we’ve had even after the job was completed. We are so pleased with the entire experience.

*PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING* A little bit of a back story on this company, and their poor customer relations and not following their contracts. For the first few weeks, the landscapers did not pull weeds like they were supposed to. Bushes and trees were never trimmed either. We called and the Accounts Manager, William, came out with a crew and pulled weeds, as the head landscaper was fired for not doing his job. Understandable. This lasted for 1 week. The crew ended up spraying roundup or equivalent, on our plants and killed them. When asked for them to be replaced, nothing. A bad review was left, and nothing was ever done about the issue. For 6 months, we had weeds and never a trim for our trees or bushes. My Wife and I had to get loppers and trim our one tree and we would end up pulling weeds ourselves. We also had to install our own mulch, as they never followed up with our inquiries. This leads to our water bill that spiked incredibly. Upon having to fix freshly laid wires for our outdoor lighting, I noticed there was a slice in our drip line for the irrigation system. During the test I did for the system, I found 5 broken heads/drip lines. When I asked about this, I had a stern talking to from William, and chalked it off to him having a bad day. He did send people out to fix the broken heads. Today, March 5th 2019, was the final betrayal of Stewart and Stewart Landscaping. When the Accounts Manager (William) was walking around our home, I went out to ask about a few spots of dead grass that had been coming out of nowhere, and how to go about fixing the issues. He copped an attitude and started to get loud “Your WIFE , under her Maiden Name, left us a bad review. What are you going to do about it? What are you going to do to take it down?” When I calmly asked what it said, he said go read it. I told him it was not a lie, which it isn’t. He then starts to walk away from me. I ask “What are you going to do about the dead grass?” His reply “Nothing!” I asked what he meant….”Nothing! We are dropping you as a customer.” And he continues to walk away. I asked for our Money back and he just keeps walking. I asked who his Boss was and Ben Stewart was his reply. I tried calling, and the phones just keep ringing. This is such an unprofessional way to do business, especially in a high end community, and us moving to another high end community in which they are. I hope this review helps people’s thoughts. Mind you, we ended up paying $60 MORE per month than our previous landscaper, to get better service, and we were treated like this. All on the day they were supposed to cut the lawn, too.

UPDATE: Do not recommend. Since leaving my last, honest review on google...William the accounts manager came to our home and was just standing in the front yard. Told my husband to go say hi and what's going on in case we needed to fix or take care of something (this would be nothing new with several broken sprinkler heads, cut electrical wires, etc). He was rude and curt to him about my review on here and canceled us as a customer (rather aggressive then so beware to leave poor reviews?!?!). Thank heavens! I was trying to get my husband to cancel them anyway. PRIOR: Set up on autopay with the guarantee in contract to weed and trim shrubs. Still has yet to be done (after speaking with a manager who came over and guaranteed it to be done over 2 weeks ago). They did however manage to weed wack killing several of our plants - they said they would replace. Never happened. Highly disappointing for a merchant mariner family. They do not respect their contracts.
