James took the time to introduce himself and discuss the current status of my lawn. He also went through the different products he would he applying. So far off to a good start as nutsedge and crabgrass have been dying off. Update James came back for Fall Fertilization and used the leaf blower to clear leaves before application. Shows the extra care and effort he puts in for his customers!

This is the first time Im ever leaving a google review on anything, but James has been such an absolute professional pleasure to work with and has gone above and beyond what is required to make my property as beautiful as possible I felt it necessary to do so.

As always James was friendly, helpful and professional. However, my lawn is currently looking a little distressed, and has had some signs of distress since having core aeration done a couple of months ago, but I figured Id give it time to recover. However the recent lack of rain has not helped. I am hoping that by next spring, with the core aeration and seeding done by simply the best, and the recent tree trimming I had done in shaded areas my lawn will bounce back and return to being one of the nicest lawns in the neighborhood.

We are SO pleased with this service. This is our first year using a service for fertilization and weed control and we could not be happier. We had a half yard of clover grass and the rest of weeds, it was so hard to enjoy our yard. We have had 3 services thus far and our yard is legit weed free and the clover grass is gone! James has been our technician and we could not be more pleased with his service. He is personable and takes time to explain everything to you and answer your questions. I love that they text us the night before they come so that we are aware (we have dogs). We are looking forward to many more years of service with this company.

I just want to express my satisfaction on how people from this company communicated with me over the phone and in person throughout the past year. Finally, once I met Bill, the technician, in my property and learned a lot from him about my lawns condition. We spoke with Michael Collins initially and he was very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all our questions and returned messages promptly. Although the jury is still out regarding the finished product, I feel a little bit better about what I m paying for. UPDATE: I know I left a lengthy review below just a couple of weeks ago, but another shout out to Simply The Best. James came out on Monday for our final fall fertilization. Having not mowed for over a week, we had some areas of fallen leaves on the grass. I watched James spend at least 15-20 minutes or so using his leaf blower to move the leaves to the very edge of the yard so that the grass was completely exposed. This was BEFORE he spent the time walking the yard to actually spray the fertilizer in. How many guys would have just sprayed the yard right over the leaves? More than a few, I bet. But NOT James and Simply The Best. Once again, I cant speak more highly of them. Another great year of service and a wonderful lawn to show for it. Cant say enough about Simply The Best Lawn Care. Another great year of service! I cant remember the last time I saw a weed in our yard. We started using STBLC several years ago to take care of our fertilization, weed control, aeration and seeding...and the lawn has looked better and better with each passing year. Kyle just visited today with his assistant for the annual aeration. Pleasant and helpful with answering any questions I asked (as always) with STBLC specialists. I cant believe I used to mess around trying to figure out when to spread fertilizer and grub control, getting up at 6am so that it would stick to the damp grass like it said on the bag, lifting those heavy sacks...WHAT A HASSLE! And the lawn never looked as good as it does now. Best yard decision I ever made hiring Simply The Best. These are the guys to take care of your lawn. Just do it. You wont regret it for a minute.

James applied lime in the late Fall when the leaves covered the lawn. He took the time to blow the leaves off the lawn so that the lime would distribute evenly, which was way beyond the call of duty. And when he walked down the driveway, he kept his blower on so that the whole place was improved when he was done. Outstanding employee and person!

Simply the Best was chosen to take on a huge task at my home - rehab my lawn after a septic installation tore it apart and too much invasive weeds had crept in from the previous owners. Over the last two years, this service has my lawn looking so healthy and pristine that I almost can t believe the difference they have made. It s tremendous. We use Simply the Best Lawn Care and Simply the Best Pest Control (home and yard) and all the technicians that serviced our home were fantastic! Kristie was very kind and professional and annotated my invoice with their other services, took my payment info and sent me a follow-up email. Results greatly depend on which service technician applies treatment. One of them burnt my lawn and refused to acknowledge it. Strangely it was a manager.

This was our first service with Simply the Best. Kyle, the technician, made an excellent first impression when he introduced himself, explained what he was going to do and gave me the opportunity several times to answer any questions I had. In addition to services listed, he took samples lab soil analysis which will determine how much lime is needed to correct the lawns pH. We look forward to see the results we get over the 2022 season.

I rebuilt my house 8 years ago and had sod put down. About a year later my lawn was horrible and covered with weeds. He recently came for a service and as always was very kind and willing to explain or answer any question I have. I have a dog so I always want to make sure I do the right thing after a service. This is the worst lawn service I have ever used. I would give a zero if possible. I read the Google reviews and went with Simply the Best. Either the reviews are fake or I just had a real bad experience. Either way, the company will not back up their promise. This is what my lawn looks like after fall aeration, fertilizer, weed prevention, and spring fertilizer and weed prevention. Clearly I was billed and paid for services not completed. More than $500 wasted! The photo speaks for itself.

Compared to other similar providers Simply The Best Lawn Care is saving me a lot of money and their personal service provided by Customer Service Mgr Kristie is all you could ask for as a customer. I called several places looking for a someone to help me with the blight caused by this very un-new jersey weather. I take care of my lawn myself and was turned down by several places. Simply the Best was honest, fast, diagnosed from a photo and payment was easy as pie. Lawn already looks better 1 week later. Beth was especially helpful with account services.

Not a positive experience with this company. Decided to give them a chance and was told I would be seeing results in my bare spots on my lawn by the summer(started in April). Wasnt too worried due to the money back guarantee posted on website. After first few applications I saw no difference in either front or back lawn. Called to cancel and someone came out to tell me I needed to water the grass more which didnt solve anything really. Continued on with cancelation and attempt to recoup funds from last application. After a month of waiting to hear from someone I finally got a call from a manager who explained to me that I was in the wrong and wasnt entitled to any refund. Company doesnt seem to put customers first, service didnt seem to make any positive changes to current lawn. Dont seem to stand by their own guarantee. Would not recommend.

We had the best experience. We love our lawn , we tried Lawn Doctor. They never showed up. We tried Trugreen and they made the lawn worse. I love the easy payment options and my lawn looks great!!

We signed up for the weed and fertilizing program, this being our first year with this yard, which turned up full of dandelions. I mean FULL. After the first treatment, the dandelions dried up, and are gone. So far, happy with the service. May add extra services next year.

I have been fortunate to have the same technician, Larry , for the 2 years I have used this service which makes for a personalized approach. He is responsible, knowledgeable, communicates upon arrival and before leaving . My lawn has not looked as good with other service companies I have used in the past. Less weeds, healthier looking lawn. Also the two customer service reps, Beth and Christie, are very professional and responsive to any requests. I would highly recommend this company . AB

Called to speak to customer assistance had questions about billing. Spoke with Kristie Inserra, she was very helpful and answered all of my questions. 1st lawn applications were on time, technician was through and left detailed information about what was applied and ample warning flags were placed to notify community about lawn treatment.

First time Ive used a service like this. The communication is very good. I like the text messages the day before they arrive, and the email summary after the service is completed. Also easy to call the office and get answers if needed.

After getting the run around from several other lawn companies, i finally feel like i found a good fit with Simply. Instead of being treated like a number, i actually felt like they took the time to address my needs specifically. The previous company i used had my lawn looking like more like a beach than a grassy lawn, but Simply got it looking beautiful and green again. I had a new lawn put in last year (2018) - trees removed - stumps ground - grading - top soil but unfortunately the contractor had several jobs going and by the time seeding took place the hot weather was on us - WEEDS!!! And very little grass - much watering and seeding to no avail - Simply the Best came in and treated the lawn - and a few weeks later in September they treated again - aerated and reseeded. By October it was looking better ! This spring they came back and treated again - I am shocked - amazed - and extatic!! My lawn looks like a golf course!!! These guys are worth every penny!!

In 2016 I had a service contract with Tru Green called something like complete care. It was the first time I had hired a lawn service to take care of my grass. In late spring I was trying to get tru green out to deal with brown spots that were over taking my back yard. I quickly found out that complete care doesnt really mean complete. The fungus that was killing the grass was not covered. Needless to say 2017 I changed and contracted Simply. I was extremely happy I did. Our grass looked great and the best part was when I called them because we had some clover pop up in one area they were out to retreat it the next day. I just renewed for 2018.

Don t waste your time and money. Initial time technician came and only did fertilizer because as she explain weed control cant be done when the temperatures outside are above 85-90 degrees. For some reason she did only front lawn and drove away so quick that we didn t even have a chance to tell her about backyard. In a few weeks I called to find out when are they coming back and why only front was sprayed. They apologized and said there is no front only in their system so he is not sure why she only did front. He said he ll leave the note to make sure both gets done. I also asked to be notified before they come in so if we are home we can ask questions and see what is being done. They said they will put a note to call us before service (apparently that note was never made in the system as I found out later, and they made it sound like it was my fault it wasn t there). September 6, I call to cancel out of service since we took care of it ourselves. I was right away notified (I believe his name was Jim) that service call was scheduled to be done today. I called back after we discovered a sign posted by the company on the lawn. (It is over 90 degrees outside today so why are they spraying today when initially I was told it can t be done is a mystery.) I asked if front and back was sprayed. They said yes because there is no front only note in the system. (There was no front only in system initially and she only did front but go figure) I asked how can effects of this can be mitigated since we sprayed ourselves too. They said they can t answer my question but it s raining over here so hopefully it helps. The level of professionalism and respect when dealing with customer is severely lacking. I wish companies just realize that if you do a normal job and treat customers like human beings and not checkbooks you will eventually build a successful business.

Started off friendly. Multiple promises were made but not fulfilled. When my lawn looked the same or worse a year later they refused to honor their own guarantee. Instead, they enforced a Auto-Renewal policy and continued to charge my account. #KeepLooking

They did what i havent ask for and sent me the bill. I didn t sign up for their services. BUT they came again 3 months later in the morning without any notice and sprayed pesticides over the lawn and sent me the bill again. The thing is I did the same at night before. So later on 30% of the lawn has burnt

Grass had a tough time this season with extreme heat and tons of rain. Many of my neighbors had lawn issues this year. Im happy they worked hard to Bring technicians back and do extra aeration and over seeding. They saved my lawn, looks great. Next year should be even better. Techs are friendly and knowledgeable. All questions answered. Excellent.
