Durafield Synthetic Lawns of Florida in Pompano Beach

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I hired this company to install artificial grass between the marble pavers on my pool deck.The pavers were initially misaligned so his company had to realign them. Unfortunately, they glued the grass to the sides of the stones. Several years later many of them have cracked and some have become uneven, creating a trip hazard. I understand things happen over time and repairs need to be made. I also expect to pay for any repairs but someone has to show up. I started calling the owner,Orlando, in November and he keeps telling me someone will call me or come by my house. Now he will not even return my phone calls. To make matters worse, I discovered that he posted photos of my pool area on Facebook, claiming he designed it. That is false. He did not design anything and he DID NOT have my permission to post any photos of my property. It s frustrating that contractors like this can take your money once the job is done but completely ignore you when issues arise. If you want someone who stands by their work and follows up when problems occur find someone else. STAY AWAY.

I just had my artificial grass installed by Durafield Synthetic Lawns of Florida. The project took less than 2 days. The guys were absolutely amazing. A team of 3 came out and cleared the whole area of bricks, stones, and branches, leveled the area and installed the artificial grass. It is as level as carpet in a house. I got the sturdier pet version. They exceeded my expectations. I should have done this years ago. I now have much more space to use in my backyard.

Before Durafield my backyard looked terrible. I have 2 big dogs that ripped up all my grass and my yard was just dirt. It would get all over the patio and in my house. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company and its management! Turning this muddy canyon at our animal shelter in Sunrise into a surface that dogs could run on without tracking dirt into the building or injuring themselves on the uneven surface seemed like an impossible task, but WOWWWW! Exactly how I pictured it - perfect! The salesman/estimator, Carlos, and the 4-man installation crew were very professional and polite. All men wore Durafield shirts when showing up to my home (that detail is important to me). Installation crew was done in about 3 working hours. The curb appeal is worth every penny! I reached out for Durafield for the installation of artificial turf in my backyard. Carlos came out to the site about 3 times, due to changes in planning on my part. I received 3 separate quotations from others, and moved forward with Durafield due to Carlos s attention to detail and communication; as well as a fair and reasonable price with heavy knowledge of the product line. Once we finalized the layout his team was on-site started work within a week of agreement. Team was scheduled to start 0830 for the attending days. The Durafield team showed up early everyday to unload tooling and make sure the started per scheduled time. The Durafield teamed worked extra hard each day, even assisting with the removal of some unknown posts and concrete that I wasn t aware off. After the first day they have cleared the areas for turf and installed all metal trimming and laid out all underpayment material. Second day, morning started with the weed barrier was installation and planning out the putting green. With a few adjustments here and there everything was finalized and turfing was installed. Next morning a few of the team members showed up to finalize the putting green and do some clean up with install of the infill. I was chipping and putting by Saturday afternoon as promised ! The turf installation went very smooth and the team showed up early and worked late each day. The quality of their craftsmanship is extremely noticeable by the final product look. My family and I are now happily enjoying our backyard post renovations and couldn t be happier. I highly recommend using them for your turf installation and big shout out to Carlos for always being available and working with my hectic schedule to get this completed. Look no further for your synthetic turf ! What to say, well, they did such a great job on the initial project that we hired them for a second project on the other side of the house. Professional team and such great work ! Couldn t be happier with the project of the side yard for the play area for our house/son. It makes such a difference too ! Very clean and it s been 2+ months and still just as good as the day it was installed. We contemplated on re-sodding the side yard but after our friends used this company for their backyard, we were sold ! They have 3 levels of synthetic product. For the play area side we chose the middle one and for the other side of the house we chose the lower end as it is just AC unit. Both look and feel great and have a nice quality. Not too prickly/hard and has a soft touch so you can easily walk or play barefoot. Easy to clean with taking a hose to wash off and even if something is sitting on the turf for awhile, once removed, the turf pops back to its original fluff. Doesn t get hot either like the playground turf. Would highly recommend Carlos that we worked with and employees were professional and efficient. Thank you for the great work and product ! Carlos was able to get us in on a cancellation for our second project and they finished in a few hours !

Carlos came to give an estate to put down the artificial turf. He was great, not only did he get back to me the same day he showed up when he said he would !! I called three other people and only one other got back to me and he never showed up. He went over all the different turf options and sent us estimate the very next day. He said they are about two to three weeks out on putting it down. I got back to him the next day to schedule and we were all set. He kept in touch and when his men came to do the work they never stopped. There were 6 guys and they work hard!!! Most of all they were polite and kept everything clean. Carlos and his team were great! Carlos was able to come out, measure and give us an estimate within only a few days of us reaching out. The quality of the turf is 10/10. We have it going around multiple trees and stones and it looks like real grass. The job was completed even earlier than expected and the communication was great! If you re on the fence about this project, do it. You won t regret it! The whole process from start to finish was wonderful.

Got a bid and plan to work but never received a proposal which I thought was odd. Was treated unprofessionally by one of the owners, Orlando, when I advised him that he should have provided me with a written proposal. I was told to grow up . Not the kind of company I do business with. Not sure about they re actual lawn work. This is just based on a meeting and phone conversations.

Great experience getting turf installed. First time having fake turf, and the family loves it. It looks awesome, feels awesome, and zero maintenance. The install process is more involved than I anticipated. I had gotten several quotes, and I ended up using Synthetic Lawns of Florida because a friend recomend the company. I was happy with the process from beginning to the end. It isnt cheap, about 4 times the cost of regular turf, but no maintenance and no landscape bill.
