I am happy with the results I am getting with my lawn, but not impressed with the sales tactics used for upgrades. Yes, additional treatments may be needed / recommended certain times of the year, but there is no need to be overly pushy with a current customer. When I tell Frank that I will talk to my wife and call him back, that is what I mean. Instead, I get the sales pitch, a drop in price (why drop the price? If I am a valued customer I should have been offered the better price to begin with, not just as a last effort attempt at closing the deal). When I repeat myself, he says it would be better to do now so we don't have to chase each other around, and that he will call me back tonight. No, once again Frank, I will call you back and let you know if we want the extra service. The quality of the work seems good, but these types of sales tactics just kind of turns me off. EDIT: Turns out the guys name is RAY not Frank...when I called to let him know we are going to skip the extra service, he started giving me the same sales pitch he gave me Tuesday (he started pitching me before I could even finish saying who I was). When I finally had a chance to talk, I told him we were going to skip the extra service. He immediately had a bad attitude and ended the call. This ONE guy has me seriously considering switching companies.
Great experience and service from Southern Green. The sales rep Dave came to my house, went over with me the problems that was having. Since they've been treating my yard and spraying for mosquitos I haven't had any issues. I highly recommend Southern Green. Not like they're competitor T_ _ Green that I had to cancel my service with for lack of performance and results.
I was referred to Southern Green by my neighbor after recently purchasing a new home. The front and back yard were suspect when we first purchased the property and we were on the verge of re sodding the entire property. I put my faith in Southern Green and they did not disappoint. Through the fall/winter months they sprayed the property monthly; but the best part was they would come out for a service call whenever I called them. The results were obviously not immediate, but now that we are in the growing season, the pay offs are abundant. The lawn looks AMAZING and better than it ever has. Thank you to Joe at Southern Green, and all the other service techs that answered my endless list of questions. I highly recommend using their services, but you have to be patient because results will take a few months, but it is worth it.
Wow ... I wish I could have had better luck with these guys ! Agree with other reviews that Dave is a great rep. However, this is now my 2nd service call where the person is in and out in 5 min. The time is not the problem. I made a point to look at what was done in todays service and the little spray hose being used does not have much coverage for a one pass down the center of my lawn. I have a fairly large back yard. They also didn't go completely around the house. I know how long it takes to water my yard. I can't do it in less than 10 min. I would expect a professional company with the interest of their customers in mind to put a little more effort. Not to mention the reason they are here is to help me improve the condition of my yard ... its not a little maintenance call. Based on my experience I cannot recommend this service .... Sorry Dave its just not the picture you painted as a lawn service company.
The commitment to customer service by Dave at Southern Green of South Florida has exceeded my expectations. The quality care my lawn receives is better then leading national competitors. For the first time in a long time I am pay less for a service and getting more in return. I look forward to a long lasting relationship with Dave and Southern Green of South Florida. I signed up with them in November after Dave knocked on my door. He was very personable and down to earth and spoke the truth about their services, cost, etc. The technician who came to my home for the 1st treatment was so courteous and knowledgeable and actually took pride in what he was doing. He explained every chemical and thing he was doing. Today I texted Dave because of some spots and he immediately called me back and set up treatment. You don't get that type of customer service anymore.
Your company fixed my lawn and the weeds killed with repeated treatments. I recommend your company highly to anyone who has lawn issues. Also the customer service I received from Dave was exceptional. He was always courteous, professional and available.
Several months ago a sign was left in my yard about Southern Green. I called and spoke to a gentlemen name Dave. He explained to me in detail their services and if i have any problems with the service to give him a call. Well i can tell you with certainty, that Dave promised everything he said and Southern Green is one of the best decisions i made when it comes to lawn care.

This company is terrible. They have skipped services, pretended to service my lawn, made false promises...now I have been waiting for a refund... They never answer the office phone...buyer beware!!!!
I have been with them for 2 years. I think they have called me the day before twice. I have a gate and keep requesting notice. Eventhough the spray half my yard, they have no problem billing me for a complete treatment. I used to have a perfect yard, about 8 months ago, I got large amounts of crab grass and other weeds. Still, no support. Someone came out to aerate for $138 and I only know it because I received a bill. I have called their office many times over 2 weeks and only receive a voicemail. I keep asking for a call back and still nothing. The worse and time to hire someone else!!!

Just started using their service so it has only been one treatment so far...have recently installed new sod which apparently already had weeds:( so cannot sufficiently or not fair to rate yet, i figure i will give them another few treatments see what happens before updating review. though in all fairness i must mention my rep Dave is an amazing, caring and genuine human being! he seems to be genuinely interested in his customers satisfaction. must say it s been a while since i ve encountered a sales person so dedicated! hope it works out for me with southern green.

They continuously billing me after i cancelled my account 5 months ago. You cant speak with someone, it a answering service and you leave a message but no one return my calls.

Dave is exceptional & responsive. My lawns, scrubs & hedges have never look so pristine after several companies over the years. Recently at Daves suggestion were using the mosquito spray control at both of our houses east fort lauderdale & plantation and has proven to be tremendously effective. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

BeWare of phony Sales tactics !! Scam Sales person came to home several months ago was extremely pushy and would not leave when I asked him to. Additionally I got calls from this company saying they were out at my house & there is mold due to mulch.I don t even have mulch!! The day after my reputable service TruGreen came out per my contract they called to say they had a sample of my soil?!? I would NOT Reccomend a company that calls & uses fake names & pretends to be a different business.
I have neighbors on each side who do not treat their lawn for weeds. I have been trying to rid my property of their weeds for over two years. After the first application, the weeds were finally under control. Dave (sales) assured me that if I would give him and his company a chance my lawn would be pristine in no time. So far I am extremely happy with the results.
So far so good. After just one spray grass and plants looking great! Good deals are offered, and after balancing out price of chemicals vs me doing it, it was a go for me. I ll update this down the road, but you have a happy customer so far!

This company sprayed too much weed killer on my lawn and I have dead spots everywhere. They said wait a month and it will look better but a month later it still looks horrible. They said they would have a manager call but I havent heard back. Now I need to re-sod in order for it to look normal again. Im very disappointed and feeling ripped off.

SOUTHER GREEN OF S FLORIDA: ONE * is being very generous! DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use their service. I wish I had read reviews before allowing this company to treat my yard. My yard DID NOT get better but rather it got WORSE! Mushrooms showed up and patches of brown hay gathered. I used their service for close to 8 months UNTIL after multiple phone calls and negations - nothing got better. I went to Home Depot and bought Scotts weed and feed and spread it around my house. MIRACULOUSLY- within 1 month - not a mushroom in sight and the grass is returning. Weeds are diminishing. I know NOTHING about lawn care - but Im pretty proud of my yard and it was Scotts weed and feed (a fraction of the cost of Southern Green of S FL service) and my due diligence in spreading the Scotts around. BEWARE - I repeat BEWARE- they are a rip off company and will not care whether you are pleased with their service or NOT.

Had over a year now. Very responsive, if something is not looking as it should I can call and they would send somebody to check the lawn and make sure is ok. My technician this time was Cody, it changes each time but he gave me this survey.
