EPR Landscaping is the way to go. I was on a maintenance plan with another company and I was still dealing with the grass/bush overgrowing. I called EPR and they came that same day to pick up the slack and I ended up signing a cheaper and better deal with them!
They lacked attention to detail. It was supposed to be a simple repair of the fence. They made piles of soil and rocks from the holes they made to place new posts. This soil was in excess so it needed to be removed anyways. Instead of removing it, they left it the entire weekend during the rainy season. All the soil and rocks went all over the lawn. I also have a section with wood chips (on top of the fabric) where they made two piles of soil and rocks on top of the mulch, so, over the weekend, all this spread all over the fabric and mixed with the wood chips. Now I need to remove it all, sweep it, and spend 100 dollars on replacement bags of wood chips (these wood chips are around my kid's playground). The posts were uneven after installation, with a difference of up to four inches between two contiguous posts installed six feet apart. I addressed these issues to the person in charge. They returned a few days later, cut the posts to make them look even, cleaned the lawn in some areas (not all the rocks and gravel were removed), and did not clean the ruined mulch). It was supposed to be easy. Next time, dump the soil that is in excess on a wheelbarrow and remove it away instead of placing it on top of a good lawn. Also, when you see mulch or wood chips, especially around a playground, don't dump all this soil and rocks on top of it. It's unprofessional.

I contacted many companies before EPR, but was a total failure. Derek and team are completely AMAZING!! Derek is a great communicator and very professional, he understands your needs and brings the perfect solution in a very quick time. I called him on Monday and by Wednesday his team was already working on the lawn. They were very efficient; the job was done as he promised. EPR handles the landscaping of our Ft Lauderdale marina property. We have just under 10 acers on the New River. The location is also under EPR's Hurricane Program. We have been very pleased with the service they provide on a monthly basis as well as the requested tree trimming, mulching, etc. Derek the owner is always onsite, professional and his team is in uniform and well dressed. After moving into a new house, I wanted to do some updating on the landscaping- that s when I called Derek and his team at EPR landscaping. Derek was super responsive, helpful, and worked with me to figure out both what I wanted to do with the space that I had, and sent me multiple options to work with me to keep my project within a certain budgeted amount. After the contract was signed, his team was there promptly the next day to get started on the project, which took them 1 1/2 days to complete. I am happy that we found Derek, and will be using his company for future lawn and landscaping needs!

EPR has always maintained my mothers lawn with professional fashion. They always help out with extra things she needs around the yard and the even re landscaped her flower bed on the side of our property. Great Work from those guys and their managers are great and very respectful!

UPDATE: After the first year service started a slow and steady decline. I had to repeatedly ask Derek to stop loading my garbage bin with landscape waste rather than hauling it away after his crew visited. Each time he acted surprised like I hadn t asked him before. The service visits got shorter and shorter and requests to manage the growing number of weeds and keep certain areas more tidy were ignored. My back wall became overgrown with weeds and plants hanging off. Then, whitefly invaded my ficus hedge and Derek sat on this information for weeks until I reached out proactively to tell him my leaves were dropping. At that point he scheduled a meeting with me and then proceeded to not show up for it. I haven t heard from him since. I will no longer be using EPR s services. Two months in and so far this is the most professional and responsive landscaping service I ve had in my 8 years in South Florida. I am Type A with high expectations. Derek is extremely customer service oriented and his team is courteous and responsive. This crew will not just mow and go like other landscape teams, but they will take time to understand what you expect and do their best to deliver it. Excited to spend less time micro- managing my yard.

Derek and his team are great! He is very easy to communicate with and is very fast to respond to inquiries. I had my backyard sodded and was on the fence with an irrigation system which he helped me weigh the pros and cons. The sod installation went seem less they arrived on time, worked hard and finished fast. Been in place for a few weeks now and looks great. Would highly recommend him for all your lawn care needs.

I live out of state during hurricane season and joined EPR s annual membership program. They created a tailor-made plan for my condo and implemented it beautifully. They take a massive pressure off of the home owner when it comes to preparing your property for a major hurricane. I encourage anyone who is incapable, uneducated about preparing their home for a hurricane, or just doesn t have the time to prepare their home for a major storm, to use their service. They re like the Triple A of emergency storm response. You don t want to use them, but you re damn glad you have them when you need them.
I use EPR for one of my properties and have been very happy with them. As a Maryland transplant, hurricane Irma was a reminder on how important it was for me to protect my property as much as possible. EPR helps with monthly maintenance such as taking care of the lawn and I can worry less about hurricane season knowing they will assist with preparations and take care of any damages. We cant control natural disasters but we have control over how we prepare :-)
EPR did a fantastic job at my home cleaning out the lush vegetation which had gotten out of control. Owner Derek and his team did a magnificent job on a 2 day job and were efficient, professional and prompt. In fact after the cleanup I decided to give them the monthly lawn maintenance.
