The lack of service, from the man working the front counter is unprofessional does not listen and did not order the right part for our Toro 2022 mower. Giving him all the information and pictures of the part we need. He did order a part, and it was the wrong part again. We found the part from a Toro Mower and ordered it. We called and told him we found it and he refused to refund our $250.00 what had paid. We were told by him we went down the wrong road. I would never do business with them. They don’t even keep records on a $5,000.00 purchase after two years. NO SERVICE
I purchased a toro model 22282 battery powered self propelled lawnmower and it is by far the best 21 inch mower I’ve ever owned including a commercial snapper lawnmower which I just gave to my son. The staff at A1 Mowers are awesome. I live in Boise and I got better service in Pocatello and I would buy from them again.
Needed a chainsaw chain sharpened, and brought it in. Rather than make me come back they immediately took it back and got it done for me...was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Absolutely Awesome service.

I have a Swisher tow behind mower. I just got it out of a shop. It ran rough, and the grease zerks looked dry. I took it into A1. They completely started from scratch. They tuned up the engine. Repaired the charging system. Greased everything. Then they balanced the blade. I didn't even know that you could do that. It ran like the day I bought it. Thank you A1.
Did a fantastic job, brought my mower in on a Tuesday and called me less than 48 hours later to pick up. Works great and seems to be running like normal again.
I took my Honda HS 720 in for repairs. $53.00 and it ran like it did before I brought it in. Got an estimate to put an OEM Carburetor on it. Estimate $110.00. I picked it up and bill was $229.00. Not happy but b paid it. They lost two bolts and replaced with bolts that would damage my cover. They said "why would our mechanic put the wrong bolts on" I was going to sell snow blower so I had photos. It took me five trips to A-1. I ordered two bolts from Honda in Pocatello to replace the ones they said they didn't loose. After being told they would never work on anything of mine again because I wanted the right bolts to avoid damage. They finally found a bolt that would work and the ones I bought made it so I could fix what they lost. I will never return to A-1 not only because they told me never to bring anything in but poor service and they are always right. To respond to Matkins that I brought it in, in parts. I told him I had taken it apart in the past. They tried to fix it the first time and all the bolts were in it when I picked it up. When I brought it back again because they didn't fix it, that is when the bolts came up missing. Do they have photos of the snow blower when they took it apart and after they put it back together? If they did they would see the bolts were missing. If I need to prove it, so why doesn't Matkins show me picture of the condition it was when they took it and the condition it was when they finished? Its always my word against theirs. I will just go somewhere else.
I contacted A1 Mowers to have them take a look at my lawn tractor. I dropped it off for them to take care of any items that were under warranty, nothing more. Ten days later I got a call saying that they had done all sorts of things, none of which were under warranty, and that my bill for the services was $189. I had not authorized any repairs save those under warranty to be performed. I explained that I had not approved of any labor save that which was covered by the warranty. The representative told me that when I came by and paid the bill I could have my mower back, effectively holding it hostage. Because I didn't have a choice I went to pick up the mower. When I did the price had mysteriously increased from what had been previously told me. DO NOT use them!

Horrible experience I took my mower here and paid 160 for a diagnosis and tune up and didnt mow 10 by 5 feet and my mower broke and they are making excuses and didnt even stay running for 2 minutes 160 wasted money on something I needed fixed and they dont care
I bought a 1428 Toro snowblower last year and consider it a great use of money. The snowblower and service have been phenomenal!

I mistaken dropped my chainsaw off at another shop where is sat for over a month and they never touched it. I brought it in to A1 and they told me a week to ten days. They called me three days later and said it was ready to go. Not only that it cost $40 under their estimate. Works great! Thanks guys.
What a terrible experience! They looked up the engine number for the mower and ordered it. Said delivery in a week and it took 4 weeks. Then when I get the part they ordered it was the wrong engine! I was told I had to pay almost $1000 for a restocking fee when it was their error. No help, now I have to buy another $700 in parts to adapt it to the mower! What a joke! Save your frustrations and go elsewhere.
Prompt and polite customer service. Custom items and top of the line snow removal equipment makes it easy to get the job done. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone.

Went here to order a professional chainsaw. They are probably the only Husqvarna dealer that is willing to order directly from Husqvarna. Originally I was going to order a 395 XP and Matt went on a wild goose chase over hell and high water to find one. Turns out, no dealers were willing to give up their saw in a dealer transfer. At this point we were looking at 6 months for a saw to come in when Matt suggested I check out the new saw that was coming out that will replace the one I wanted, the 592 XPG. It was a nice replacement that had the 36 bar I was looking for, upgraded the bar to the lightweight and that got shipping less than a month out! Way better than 6 months. Thanks for your help Matt!

I was treated really rudely. I was as looking for a deck part. I felt like I was treated as I didnt know what I would be talking about because Im female. Little did he know we will soon be buying a zero turn, but he lost my buissness.

I just came in there to get a belt for my snowblower that I ve had for about 20 years I went to the competition they don t even act like they know what they re doing A1 mower was very nice found the correct part ordered it had it the next day and called me. Man that s service and a business you want to support. Keep up the good work.

Strongly recommend going somewhere else. Dropped my brush cutter off for a quoted $40 tune up, carb clean and blade sharpening. When we picked it up, the bill was $180. They decided to change out the carb instead, with a cheap replacement, but never called to verify if that was okay...just did it. Failed to change the spark plug or the air filter and never sharpened the blades. Hope the $180 sustains them for awhile, because Ill never go back and I will continue sharing this story with anyone looking for small engine repair!
These guys will do work without consulting you, turn what should be a $75 job into $200 plus. Cant recommend this repair shop. Could have bought a new weed eater for the repair cost.
Called and ask a question on my snow blower. Who ever I talked to was very rude. I know a lot of people in Pocatello and I will spread the word.

Warranty work on my Husqvarna garden tractor was done by this place. Each time it came back worse than it went in. One time they put the engine back together wrong which caused it to seize the first time I started it as they returned the equipment. Then when they supposedly repaired their screw up they used the same gaskets so it started spewing oil everywhere when I ran it. They also returned it with a flat tire caused in their shop. The guy that works the front counter is extremely rude. DO NOT GO HERE, take the extra few minuets and take your equipment to blackfoot.
Dave is the man! Ive Taken all my stuff to them they always get it right in and let me know what its going to cost or what the problem is. Ive bought all my equipment from these guys. Never have had a problem with any of it and they always stand behind there work and warrantys. You guys have earned a lifetime customer!

I bought a new mower from here and it didnt work after I went to do a yard. I took it back and he said it was the choke. He got it running and I went to do the yard again and again it didnt work. I turned him into the BBB and they werent going to do anything, I have had it a year and it still wont work and he wouldnt give me my money back. Will never go there again. I have heard others that have had problems there too.
