They used to be good. Ask them what changed in 2024. After 14 yrs we had no choice to terminate and they would not let go! 15 minutes to terminate services. Everything went south in 2024.

Plant It Earth does an excellent job. They always send me photos of what was done and the property. If something special needs to be done, they let me know. Very polite.

Started off great by seeing improvements in yard. Started seeing the brand new grass dying off in areas and weeds no longer disappearing. Called twice to try to rectify and never got a return call either time.

P.I.E has been taking care of my lawn and shrugs since the summer and everything is looking fantastic! Communication is easy and the service is always on time and thoroughly completed. Very happy with this company and I highly recommend them!

Do not use, no one contacts you back. They say to we technician notes. When they do not exist, still charge you anyways. This company shouldn t be doing business

I ve had this company service my lawn for almost two years now. I had great service up until the past four months. They burnt my lawn, didn t service certain areas of my lawn. I called to speak with a manager, multiple times and no one has returned my call. All around horrible customer service.

Unfortunately, after more than a year of service, we are moving on to a different company. Big line up front, our needs were not met and now Ill need to pay another company to fix the lawn they had been seeing to. I understand that it takes time to see results but after a year of management my lawn is worse than it was when they took over service. The very first service I was supposed to have was a no-call/no-show and when I enquired as to why they lied to me. I was told my gates were locked, that has never been true (I put the fence in) and would only have blocked the technician from half of the lawn anyway. It takes weeks to get a callback service, which is completely pointless. If you have a service once every four weeks, have to wait 9-14 days to ask for a callback service, and then wait two weeks for them to perform it - youre already at 4 weeks and just getting your regular scheduled - ineffective - service. Checking my cameras after a regular service it was very typical to see the technician completely skipping areas of my lawn.

Three times over a 4 week period they promised to treat my yard. They want you to think with their scheduling department that they are a big conglomerate however they are the most incompetent people Ive ever dealt with. Horrible communication even after I spoke to the manager. I would never use them and highly recommend you dont either!

Horrible service. Wish I could post here a video that shows how quick these guy walked to spray to my property every month. They would probably spend 2 minutes missing a lot of areas in my backyard. Used for 6 months and did not see any improvement. Called them last month to cancel subscription and they keep charging my credit card. Every time I call they just put me on hold and hung up on me.

Fraud !!!! Stay away from this company, they are scammers!!! I was calling them for several weeks to come do the maintenance, they only came by once and didnt come back and I received a bill for three months, fortunately I have cameras in my house where there is evidence that they never came to do the maintenance, and surprise!!! Now he is charging as if it had been three months!! Stay away from this company!!!! More neighbors in my community also had similar problems!! SCAMMERS!!!!

The service itself was fine. My issue was that a service was done after Id canceled my subscription and contacted them when I got the bill and was told not to worry about it. That was fine until I got a copy of my credit report and heres a $50 negative credit report. I contacted them and the female I spoke to told me shed talked to the billing manager and that it would be removed. A collection letter came all I contacted them 3 times with messages left asking to be called back. I ended up sending an email and got a response saying they had contacted the collection company to find out what was going on. Id asked for a letter so I can submit to the credit bureau and the collection department but hadnt gotten that and didnt get any other email advising what theyd found out.

People are nice, responsive and overall easy to work with. The pest control was great. The shrub care was also done well. The weed control in the yard was not great. I did end up switching companies. I have neighbors with PIE and no issues. It didnt work for me.

I have had their services for over two years and their service is prompt and professional.

I quit using them as their quality just kept getting worse. Weeds. brown spots and patches of missing grass everywhere. They also use telemarketers to try and upsell you on products you dont need. Would not use ever again.

We have had plantit earth for about 8 months now and they have done an incredible job bringing our grass back. All the weeds are gone and our grass is thriving. I am very happy with our service from PIE.

After 5 years of service, I had no other option but to cancel their service. Their quality and results have gone down over the past 1.5 years. I tried working with the local service tech and managers to get the insects under control. No results or response. Something s changed with this company and their quality is not worth the investment anymore. Take it from a past 5 year loyal customer, look at better options! Update: Their response to my post said a manager would follow up with me. Nobody ever responded to my concerns. Sadly, PIE has turned into a spread and walk away company and their attention to detail has vanished.

Been with this company for almost two years, it was great at the beginning, but I have to cancel it. I totally agree with previous comments with things have changed. The customer service is extremely bad, they can t answer my questions, and poor attitudes. I work from home and literality saw they just sitting in front of house in the truck and did not do anything, but claimed as they did. Called customer service to request a real service, and never heard back from them.

I called their for a quote and got transferred to the Plant City office where I had to leave a message. Its been 4 days with no return calls. I called another company for service.

Terrible customer service and absolutely no change on our lawn. We paid over $200 for each spray due to the size of our lawn. I asked that the technicians talk to me personally when they come out. After the first spray that they did while I was NOT home. I called the office, and said I want to talk to them first. One month later they came again when we were not home. I complained again, and office lady was rude. So I cancelled service. One month later, my husband called and talked to the new owner and told them not one weed had died. He said well since we were no longer customers they couldnt help us, and that we would have to reactivate our account. My husband said send out a manager or something to talk to us. They NEVER sent anyone out. Best recourse for us is to warn others of there bad business practices! Buyer Beware!

PIE serviced my property for about two years. Reported issues with a small areas in my backyard grass dying to the root. As well as weeds getting worse after service. Owned this property seven years, my backyard sits on a downslope and has been beautiful always with zero problems. Once reported, was told multiple times over a six month period I need spend money on new drains for water build up. Keep in mind PIE was servicing my lawn for over a year. Meanwhile problem kept getting worse. Had two other separate companies take a look and both identified a fugues. Dropped PIE went with other company and grass is finally starting to recover. My experience seems to be the same as many others. PIE charges more then any company in the area. And in return you receive techs that cant identify problems and cheap products being used. Much more qualified companies out there that are cheaper.

Service did not start. Issue with their vehicles.

After 8 years of service by Plant it Earth I went from a lush thick healthy lawn to dead spots and weeds. I witnessed employees show up to service the lawn and leave after only doing the front yard. I called at least three times trying to address my concerns and this is what I m left with. Finally I ve had enough and called to cancel the service. I should ve requested a partial refund since they only provided a half service. Proceed with caution if you are considering using them. My lawn is worse than ever and all of it happened under their watch.

Good value and service

This is an awful company to work with and after 2 years of being a client, paying them and listening to them about my lawn they have shown their true colors. Terrible customer service! They did not service our yard with the correct products and could not identify the fungus or insects that were destroying my yard. During rainy season, when it rained every day, they said we had weeds because the lawn needed more rain and the service tech said it was an inconvenience to have to kill weeds in our yard. This was after relying on their expertise The only saving grace was their area manager. Someone needs to save him from this place. Do your self a favor and steer clear of this company.

New sod ,the service was great. All of sudden I got bugs , they didnt respond now no lawn.

Great tech who came and sprayed all my areas of concern for pesky bugs around the perimeter of my home. Had them do an inside treatment as well to have it all covered. Company has excellent scheduling communication. The spray tech was very knowledgeable with the specific bug issues we had on the property.

I didnt have an issue with this company initially, but when I was charged for a service that wasnt performed... that was an issue. The woman I spoke with from customer service was short, rude, and didnt really try to retain me when I explained I was upset about the situation. Just said shell get someone out there, cancel my service, and hung up on me. Not winning any great awards with me. Ill obviously be finding someone else... But beware! If you dont have a camera system to track them actually performing their duties that you pay for... you might be getting robbed. **Update** Members showed up at door, apologized for sending transaction on service that wasnt performed, and then performed service. I explained that a simple phone call, or even trying to roll their window down while I was out front getting the mail to let me know they couldnt perform duties today and would be back... would have been better than just charging me for something that wasnt done and saying it was. They profusely apologized, but I explained the damage had been done at that point. The drivers customer service was leaps and bounds better than the person I spoke to on the phone. So at least theres that. ***Second update 08/08/2023*** Love how they replied with how this would be dealt with internally and that a GM would call me. Well, GM never called... so we can all assume how it was handled internally (it wasnt). Definitely do not recommend solely based off shady tactics and poor customer service. Find better. Hopefully this helps someone.

My grass looks great

Poor quality. The techs sprayed chemicals all over my brand new pavers and several feet up along both sides of newly built home. I now have orange stains on the driveway, vinyl windows and home. They did not offer to fix the damage. Do not use them.

Been with them for 6 months now. They killed my grass that i spent thousands of dollars on and everytime i call to address it they keep hanging up on me and extremely rude

Expected services were not fully performed. The technician was noted on camera only treating a small area of the front yard and not the rest of the property but we were charged for full service. Management was contacted and denied that would ever happen. Again, we have it on camera a total of 5 minutes the technician was at our house

I used this service for roughly 10 years between two address. When I started service with them at a third address I recorded video of the technician doing nothing for nearly one year. When confronted the company said we are sorry and will cover one month service and send a new technician. In three months the new technician showed up one time. I have been more than courteous and patient with them. Im not sure if it is the technicians in this area being simply terrible, or the company has lost all morals. I will neve ruse them again and wish I had not been a loyal customer for so long. In response to the companies response: No I do not want you to contact me. I already gave you a second chance, technically three if you count the first time the new technician didnt show up. Proof of nearly 1 year of paid service not being completed and an offer of one month free in response. A quick look at other recent reviews shows Im not the only person this has been happening with.

Wow thank goodness they know how to read. I was worried that they wouldn t see my NO SOLICITING sign on my front door. Fortunately, they leave their little tags throw on my front porch every time they service someone in this community.

BRINGING THIS ONE BACK TO THE TOP. UPDATED********* SEPTEMBER 30 2023***********.they responed but never contacted me. **********NEW UPDATE AT*********** BOTTOM********** ********************3-14-2023***************** I was referred to P.I.E. as a great company that will keep your lawn looking great. Well, in my case, that didnt happen. My wife and I just purchased a new home and have new landscaping and new sod that is less than a year old with irrigation. I reached out to P.I.E because I was not getting the results from my past company, plus some of their processes on how they treat your yard were just unacceptable to me. Everyone I know has P.I.E, and their lawns look great, tall, and green. My lawn was looking great, just a few areas in the back I was concerned about not greening up. So I called and scheduled for lawn and shrub care. The man on the phone was super nice and within 5 days as promised. P.I.E shows up does their thing and left. The next few days, I noticed the lawn was looking much greener and happier! Then, after about 5 days go by, I start to form circle brown dried out completly like if you touch the grass, it would crumble patches in my backyard. I noticed the grass was dead all the way down to the dirt. Now we have over 9 areas each about 10 inches round in my backyard that P.I.E. treated for broadleaf weeds and have completely dead spots where they were treated. The invoice says yellowing will occur in areas treated but not completely NUKED like what your tech did to our yard. Not happy first-time customer I called last week to cancel, and the lady who answered the phone was rude and had an attitude. I was not at all rude in any way. Just said I would like to cancel my service. I have pictures attached. I also dont like leaving reviews like this but I am very disappointed in this company. Since their treatment of 9 such areas now, I have more weeds where they killed the grass and broadleaf weeds. I will have to cut areas back and resod areas. **************UPDATE 5-31-22**************** No call back from anyone at PIE. I left this review in hopes someone would reach out and make this situation right, but they didnt. It just shows how much they really dont care. They promise and say they will contact you, but they wont. First-time customer and last time customer. Highly dont recommend this place as they will damage your lawn and not take responsibility for their actions. Failed to get the name correct when responding to this review. Had to resod areas that were damaged. The pictures do not serve any justice service. For the damage they caused. UPDATE 3-14-23 One of my next-door neighbors was using P.I.E. up until this week as I informed him that P.I.E. parked their truck in front of my house at the bottom of my driveway so they could lineup their hose reals on the back of their truck with my nextdoor neighbors backyard fence door so they could treat the back yard. Upon completion of their treatment at my next-door neighbors home, they dripped LIQUID IRON FERALIZER on at the bottom of my driveway. (PHOTOS ATTACHED). I want my money back from the original service call.

I have had this company working on my lawn for over two years. Unfortunately, I see no improvements. The grass is still in poor condition and in bad shape. The palm trees need to do better, too. Also, it takes three times for the manager of the area where Im to call me back. Customer support is rude and unprofessional.

Been with this company for over 10 years and I totally agree with previous comments about something has changed with the company. I know that the training and quality of the technicians is poor for they can t answer my questions, poor attitudes and you get a different tech each month. How do you build a relationship where they know and understand the needs of your lawn? Their equipment is in poor shape for I have asked them not to bring their trucks on my driveway until they get their leaking oil repaired. The next month they drive up and leave an oil spot in a different place. I have complained and complained . Weeds are everywhere and also sedge. The monthly report is always the same for what they do and I don t think they spray the weeds for I don t see the brown spots that they say I should see . I also had a thick lush lawn that was the pride of the neighborhood .When management finally arrives they blame it on my sprinklers are not adequate and coveting the areas and my lawn service needs to raise their blades. They already have it at the highest level. I spend $1500 on the sprinklers to have them raised, add rotors instead of pop-ups and move some for better coverage. Will see if that is the difference .. doubt it for I watch these guys spray and sometimes they don t even go into the back yard. Now I get a bill with a $20/month increase. I have paid the same price annually for many years. This company is on the short list until I find one that has higher standards and cares about each customer!

Been with this company for almost 2 years, in the beginning it was great. I have been unable to reach out to them for a service call for almost two weeks, my lawn has been deteriorating and I have brown spots that are spreading. They haven t done what they ve claimed to do on the invoice. People have cameras now and it s very clear they re not providing the service they say they are. Disappointed.

I have had them for 10+ years but as of the last few months my grass is dying, they are coming more frequently, and supervisor will come out and spray, then a employee will the next day as well. Not sure what is going on... but we are not happy as of recently. We are also noticing mushrooms growing in the yard, brown spots, they blame it on my neighbor, but we have also found them refilling there machines with water on the side of our house on the camera. They call and say they will be out for service the day before at closing time... I called and canceled last month and they still showed up. Now appears they are coming back.

Terrible service! I have been attempting to contact them to cancel the service due to a lack of follow up and false promises. They are honestly the worse! There are a ton of these types of companies who offer much better service. Huge disappointment.

Got a call the day before they were coming out to service my property, well they charged my credit card but never showed up to service my property . This was my very first service with them and they didn t deliver . Wouldn t recommend them to anyone Shady work ethic

We re experiencing very disappointing service related to a service call for our lawn. We ve followed up every day for the past week, but nobody seems to care. They say that they will call us back and do not, they keep saying that the technician will be out the next day, but that doesn t happen. We re remaining hopeful that a member of management will step-up and see to it that our service call is responded to this week. In the meantime, what should ve been a minor issue with fungus now continues to spread throughout our lawn.

Not responsive at all. Had to call them several times for my first service and for the next services never show up for the whole month, and the response from them when I called was that they have me on schedule for the Friday of that week, but never happen. No happy at all with them

P.I.E. Does the job right. I have been using them for a few years now. At first i had bugs that were destroying my St Augustine grass and they were able to make my grass bright green and grt rid of the bugs. For a short time I tried TrueGreen but they did not work as well as PIE so i came back

We have used PIE for several years they do a good job however I wish we had less weeds in our yard back and front. Overall a good company.

I have used them to treat my yard once a month since November 2021. 6 applications. My new lawn was installed in October 2021. Its beautiful! Ive referred them to several neighbors already. We have used PIE since 2017 and Wanda calls me each month religiously to let me know they are coming to service my lawn. Our yard looks great! And if I have a question or need them to fix the mole cricket issue that arises from time to time, they take care of it right away.

Always on time once each month following a call the day before. Fertilize appropriately which I always had trouble knowing when and how much when I did it myself. Control weeds very well, especially spurge which is a real menace. So far well worth what I pay them to have a very nice lawn.

We tried some other lawn care options but were never as satisfied as we were with our lawn while being treated by PIE. Our last service (think yellow cars and big ears/tails) we kept the longest of the others but the weeds seemed to start thriving more than our grass. We have since come back to PIE and cannot believe how much greener our yard is. The weeds will take some time but I dont doubt theyll get controlled.

My yard looks great, the technicians always leave recommendations to help keep lawn looking green. If needed, I know I could call office for any problems and it would be resolved. They offer flexible scheduling for indoor pest control service. I feel their prices are very reasonable.

I just got new sod five weeks ago and they have serviced it twice already. I am very pleased on how the lawn is looking. I understand that may lawn man is quitting so I will be contacting PIE to see if they will completely maintain my yard for me. Very reliable company.

I live in an HOA, and I have to maintain St. Augustine grass, which is problematic during the summer. Chinch bugs will destroy a St. Augustine lawn. I hired Plant It Earth, and they have kept my yard green, thick, and pest free for almost a year. Seeing my property is in excellent condition, my neighbors started service with them. The Grass is Always Greener on the Other Side My next-door neighbor got an HOA violation letter for his lawn with a lot of weed and dead spots. A couple of months after starting with Plant It Earth, his yard got restored, and now it looks greener.

I initially contacted this company because I noticed the lawns that they serviced in my neighborhood looked extremely good & healthy. I changed to their services over 4 years ago & am not in the least bit disappointed. They call in advance to notify before they come out for services. They have a website for communications & easy payments. Their technicians are courteous, friendly and professional. I have not had any negative issues with them at all. I am very happy with their services and have even recommended them to my neighbor who is also very happy with their services.

Being unhappy with the lawn care team I had, I started looking around my neighborhood to see who everyone was using. I saw the little green P.I.E signs all throughout the neighborhood, all the time. Turns out even my neighbor uses them and in asking her about them, she gave them high marks. So, here I am now, a happy, loyal customer! Ashleigh has been my lawn guy since the beginning. Im not used to that. With my old company it was Always a new guy. I even have Ashleighs cell if I need to speak with him. They do visits in between services if I need, but wow, I havent needed that with them! Thank you PIE!!!

We have been using Plant It Earth for over 20 years. When we have any problems with weeds or dead spots we call the office and they usually send someone within days. We are satisfied with the communication, the service, and quick response if we have any issues between treatments.

We tried the pest control service due to small ants in our kitchen...they sprayed the outside of our hone which seems to work, anyway not seeing ants inside our home. We are also using their lawn pest control. Everyone has been very professional and helpful.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately I have no other choice but to contribute to a higher score than Plant It Earth deserves. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND this company for lawn fertilization/lawn pest control and would NEVER do business with them even if they offered their services for free! I thought they would be a great provider based on all the lush grass I would see in my old neighborhood that PIE would service, but that is definitely not the case in my new subdivision. My lawn, lush indeed due to plentiful rain, but also had become a massive all-you-can-eat buffet for bugs to feed and lay eggs. And this was AFTER the supposed Plant It Earth initial treatment. I wasn t home during the treatment so I have no idea what was actually done. I didn t have my security system up yet so I could not tell. When I would call customer service and ask when the next service would be happening, they would politely say some time next week. Okay, fine, they don t know exactly which they but I guess a week range is better than nothing. The next week comes and goes. No follow up service. I call the following week and get told the same thing: some time next week. The next week comes and then goes. No service - or, rather, one that I knew of. I call the beginning of the following week again. This time when I express my frustration about not getting a follow up service, I get told that it already happened! Three days before I called! Now I m mad because I was not notified when this supposed follow up service happened, but more importantly, I was NEVER serviced. My security footage around my property verified this AND I was home the day of the supposed treatment as well as the day before. So don t feed me lies. I confront a manager about this terribly unprofessional experience. He seemed apathetic to it all and said he d relay the message to the service tech who is assigned to my property and have the tech call me back. Needless to say, I never received a call back. There s no point in working with this shameful company - I cancelled with them immediately! Terrible company who seem to care more about communicating false promises and lies while taking your money and doing NOTHING. Such a fraud. Plant More Lies.

I have been using this company for many years and have done more than 50 referrals. This past year the chemicals they are using is simply not working. I am had Chinch bugs and had to purchase my own bottle of chemicals to treat. I feel bad for all the people I have referred, since they continue to think my lawn looks good because of the company. Only my close neighbors see me out there spraying myself. I used a 2 gallon sprayer with Bifin XTS. I am not the average homeowner most people are not aware of Chinch bugs. I captured them for UF University to be able to show homeowners when they ask about them. My point is I know what is causing damage to my grass. The yard to the left of my property is a rental house. That yard was only treated 2 times in the last year and sadly my yard is not any better. My hope is that someone at the company will read this and take an objective view of the situation. I am not a bitter complainer just looking for better results.

We have been a customer of P.I.E. for many years and the service and quality can t be beat in our eyes. Our tech, Brandon, is phenomenal and is very knowledgeable in the products and solution for any issue we may confront him with. We wouldn t switch to any other company. nearly 2 years if not more with PIE and all I got was excuses and more weeds than what I started with. Take that info how you like to, I personally don t like to bash anyone but I do read reviews faithfully and feel obligated to do my part as well. Neighbor just dropped them as well for the same reasons. Made all my payments automatically, was a good customer and all I got was excuses after excuse. I m putting down to much water, then not putting down enough water, that kind of weed we can only treat in the winter time, sprinkler head needs to be moved to another location, your neighbors weeds are crossing over, etc etc every time. I ll admit I have 2 pets, one small breed and a medium breed so I ll take the heat for any brown urine spots but my dogs are indoor dogs. I will not accept my dogs as the reason why my yard has way more weeds than it did almost 2 years ago.

So let me start by saying i saw this company with a cool logo drive in my neighborhood, i signed up with them. At first everything seemed fine. I went with pest control in doors. They sprayed the outside. days later i noticed a bunch of spiders and some moths. The rep came to my house and told me this company does not give him stuff to treat pest outside then the regular spraying around the house. That was my first red flag. So then i got in contact with the company, they were supposed to buy the stuff i needed for the pest i had and were going to come and treat, i waited days with no calls or getting me scheduled. So i called back and spoke to Jay i believe. He said we will come out tomorrow. Another couple days go by and nothing. I finally had enough and cancelled and got a refund on the service they could not provide. So after all of that, i kept the lawn service. They came out once and i was waiting for my next appointment. I called and they told me Thursday/Friday. Next week comes around and still no call or appointment. So i call again and they told me they would come out within the next couple days. Well as you guessed it, NOTHING. No call or emails or text. I called back and told them to remove me off their list since they clearly cant even be considerate of peoples time. I have never been with a company that treats customers this way. Beware.

You pay for the service and then have to tell them to come do what you pay for. They don t help with weed or pest control. Service is reactive and not implemented quarterly like is advertised. Erica is rude to customers and acts like she is too busy to be helpful or answer simple questions. She had an attitude from the time she picked up the phone and hung up on me after cutting me off while talking. Is that it?! was said by her throughout the whole rushed short conversation. Not a great service since the customer service is poor and you have to call and ask for them to do what you paid for.

Update. After 2 years of service and initially helping my yard. My yard started to sprout weeds. Contacted them immediately and they sent out a manager to address. After him spraying the weeds they multiplied 3 x also fold sedge grass everywhere in my backyard. It s apparent that thy have the same treatment for every yard not your specific yard. They started off good but as crews changed my yard suffered. Don t waste your money. This even they offers me two months free treatment canceled them after the first month do to weeds everywhere

Amazing lawn maintenance

We started using pie 2 years ago when Massey would not get rid of weeds in our yard. It was a good 2 years but the weeds have returned and they are multiplying. They used to be great. Now not so much. Update. The manager for our area Terry came out. He addressed our concerns and got the weeds treated. Will update to 4 stars and if the weeds disappear will update to 5.

I had appointment for 10/7, and no technician showed up. I called a little before 5pm and left voicemail message. I feel very unprofessional not to let the customer know If plans has change. 10/10-I received a call back from STEVE, and he handle everything. Thanks for the he awesome service!!

Hired P.I.E for monthly lawn fertilization. After wating months to see improvement, I finally cancelled their services. But they showed up the following month anyway. I came out and told the crew to stop application because service was cancelled, which they did. Following month, they show up again and make application while I want not at home. I called their office, they acknowledged my cancellation two months ago but refused to cancel charges for past two months. I was told that If I didnt pay, they would just send it to collections and alter my credit rating. This is not a reputable company.

I began the service in Oct 2018 and all was well for much of the first year at which point several areas of grass began to turn brown. I contacted the company but the areas continued to worsen and grow such that I asked to cancel the service. I received a call back from a supervisor who blamed new staff for the issue. He told me they would refund the last month charge but wanted to look at the lawn. I dont know if he ever came out. They continued to charge, the lawn continued to worsen and the written reports with each treatment continued to document the same treatment and no problems noted! It took 2 more calls to get the service terminated. I asked for a refund of the last 2 months charges but never received it. I had to have the largest area re-sodded. My regular yard service reported the turf appeared to be badly burned from fertilizer or pesticide I would never use the company again and would advise others not to set up recurring charges

The staff (appointment setter) sounds like she hates her job and is very unprofessional. They do not keep their word. My entire experience has been horrible!

First phone call into the company to inquire about services and it was THE WORST and HARDEST conversation ever. The man avoided a simple request of service and began rambling on and on about details of the products and services that werent relevant to the question. I indulge for a while but it became increasingly frustrating that my simple question wouldnt get answered. I just wanted someone to come out and treat! Why is that hard?! I just need rid of the ants in my driveway!!!

So I use Plant It Earth, Inc. For my lawn care needs/ Fertilization. Recently I recommended 3 people to use them as I never really had an issue with the grass. It doesn t look like it use to before, but doesn t look as good as I need it to Be. This company came out and sprayed and killed my plants. The same day they sprayed both of my neighbors houses and completely killed the plants as well. Now I feel part to blame because they joined because of me. My neighbor talked with a Joe who s a manager and Joe agreed the plants needed to be replaced, however he never Came back out and never fixed the issue. I called Joe and he said he would come back out the same day and spray etc. Unfortunately he never did. 2 weeks goes by and not even a Peep from Joe. I called back today and talked to the operations manager Chris and he had me on speaker phone. After I was done explaining what happened he forgot to hit mute or didn t hit it fast enough and His partner (probably Joe was cursing me out) after I told him I heard everything he said cussing at me, Chris released the line on me. Horrible horrible company! I hope no one uses them. I will literally go out of my way to make sure everyone knows how horrible this company is.

When a company is not greedy it makes your experience so much better. They focus more on getting me the services I needed than getting their payment. That alone will make me stay with them over anyone else

I called PIE on Dec 9th never used a lawn care company before but really needed it and thought lets give this company a try. Customer Service was really great and I was told they would be out in a week. Well a week came and went and no one ever showed up. Called them back again on Dec 20th was told we are very sorry but actually the Technician should be out there today, your on his list. Well again no one ever came. Called again on the 22nd by this time I was frustrated. I was told yes your on the list not sure whats going on I will get with the technician. Again Nothing! Called on Dec 28 was told the Techs name is Anthony and he is great not sure whats going on I will contact him directly and you will hear from him or me today. Well I did hear from him via Text....Here is what the text said. Hello this is Anthony with plant it Earth Lawn Care. I apologize about the confusion. I never received any paperwork or invoice notifying me that you signed up. We always treat your neighborhood on or around the 10th. Once again I am very sorry for any confusion. I thought okay let me give them the benefit of the doubt. Well today is Jan 12th had enough going with another company.

Very disappointed with weeds around the plant beds, I have called various times to complaint and have spoken to Wanda, she has promised a call back from a manager 3 or 4 times without any luck. The chemicals used around the plant beds and shrubs dont work, the area technician always gives the same explanation that the chems take couple of weeks to work, unfortunately by the time the next month comes around, the same weeds have grown to mature size and then the cycle continues month to month. Couple of months ago I requested for Round-up to be applied to quickly take care of the problem. The district mgr came out and sprayed and the problem was solved. Last Friday I called and complaint again about the weeds coming back mature size, I was promised a call back by Monday. Monday came and no all. Thursday I called and spoke to JOE DIAZ-Mgr and explained the problem, but more importantly I emphasized the lack of customer service, Mr. Diaz was EXTREMELY RUDE in his responses and would not answer my questions rather he deflected like he was talking to a brainless idiot. I requested escalation and CHRIS STEVENS-OPS MGR was able to resolved the matter in the most professional manner possible, he personally came out to my property within an hour and sprayed for weeds and provided solutions for future weeds problem. Thank you CHRIS, excellent job, excellent client service. I hope the company takes proper action against Mr. Diaz! Today 4/29/2020 I caught them on my cameras only applying only to 25% of my property, they walked thru my property with a handheld applicator so fast that only a minimal amount was used. I will call tomorrow morning to cancel my account.

5/13/20 Representative left a message on my answering machine that was very unprofessional! You don t call people an state their 60 days late on a bill. Therefore, I remitted payment and cancel my contract. Representative asked, me why are you counseling? Well you were rude and unprofessional and I usually make payment when notified your coming to service the yard. The representative hung up the phone. The service started really good however over time the quality of the work just was not the same. But, it s ok I started service with Trugreen. Trugreen has been servicing my neighbors yard for years and it looks great! 5/14/2020 Plant Earth lawn service attempted to service my lawn. Lawn Rep stated, his route was not update. Called back and spoke with the same representative that hung up on me on the 13th and she stated, yup it s canceled and hung up. Whoever this person is needs to be counseled on business etiquette.

I have been meaning to write a review on pie for a while now! I never write reviews but I love this company so much that I just needed to! First of all I decided to choose pie because when you drive through my neighborhood in Valrico you can tell every lawn that uses pie because their lawns look spectacular. Second I have neighbors who started using pie and their lawns were struggling bare and had been neglected for many years. When pie started treating the lawn it went from terrible to lush and beautiful. When I saw what pie achieved for them, I knew that I wanted to use them. Before I did though I called other companies to get quotes and opinions. After having a couple companies come out to give estimates I was told that I needed to replace my lawn because it was beyond repair. When pie came though they told me it would take time and effort but my lawn could come back! After about a year of pie applying lawn treatments my lawn is absolutely amazing and one of the best in the neighborhood. I am just so thankful for this company and all they have done for my yard and how their service is so dependable!

They started out great, my fruit trees loved them, but my crabgrass didnt need them. Their pest control was great, I recommended them to friends and family. Family had an issue that PIE broke their gate, owner told them face to face as well as managers.. nothing ever happened, over a year ago. I continued to use them for pest control until I realized on my cameras how badly they were skimping each quarterly visit. They stopped walking around the property, they stopped getting wasp nests and spider webs under the eve. I am seeing more and more pests the past few years. I emailed them after a threatening email that said they called me 2 times to let me know something was wrong with my autopay...lies, I never got a call and when I brought up these issues I was told sorry, call for a follow-up. The gate was never even addressed in their reply, the bad service they didnt seem to care about. As a customer for over 4 years you would think they would give a darn... nope. Follow-up: P.I.E reached out to me to address my concerns. They told me someone would be out that day, and someone will be checking my sisters gate. Chris really stepped up, within minutes of the call someone was looking at the gate and a few minutes later a technician was dispatched to my house to retreat and make sure that I am happy. I am changing my review as P.I.E really stepped up, leaving one star off because of the manager that lied to my sister so many times really dropped the ball, but again PIE is more than the local office and as a whole the company wants to have happy customers. Thanks to the office manager and Chris for being very helpful, also shout out to my technician, it was very nice to see the same tech that first treated my house 4yrs ago is still with the company.

I will upgrade the review depending on response from the company. My husband called them in May to set up care, but then immediately canceled when he realized it was another company most of our friends had recommended. However, come July, two days after our now normal company had sprayed, these guys showed up spraying my yard. I tried to stop them and they said they were in the right place. The guy I spoke with handed me an invoice and said here, just keep this and left. Was checking my bank statement and they charged us for the treatment! Not only that, my grass looks awful from being double treated (perfect timing as we re trying to sell our home). We are NOT happy and have left a message. We re now wondering what our regular company will have to do to fix the damage.... that we ve paid for unauthorized!

April we called and told Planet Earth to stop spraying our backyard and only spray the front yard. Planet earth didn t show up in May so we hired another company. In June their service person stopped and put a bill charging us for fertilizer on the shrubs and flower beds and a sign in the front yard like they had fertilized the yard.We didn t contract the flower beds, only the lawn. Planet Earth charged us for June and for fertilizing the shrubs. My fiancée,Karen called Planet Earth and disputed the charges. Planet Earth admitted that they didn t do the yard in June. They wouldn t come out to inspect the flower beds and see their service person didn t even do what they said they had done. We didn t have a contract to do the flower beds only the yard . They are still charging us for the flower beds they didn t do. We were home with 5 workers replacing our hardwood floors and they didn t see anyone spraying the yard and we didn t either and we all were in and out of the house . We have pictures taken two hours after the service person supposedly fertilized the flower beds and it proves he didn t even do what he said he did. I don t recommend this company to anyone. We have gotten another bill for the flower beds,they didn t do,so we are going on principal and going to take Planet Earth to court if we have to in order to have the $77 charge removed.

I requested a simple estimate for yard maintenance from this company now 9 days ago. I gave them all my information and April said someone would come out in a couple business days. Nobody showed all week. I then reach out Monday and she said she would see why nobody has showed. Still no response. Good to see a company that has too much business to do stuff like this. Now I know why the star rating is what it is.

Weve been customers for the past year and these guys have transformed our yard. When they first started treating the lawn it was full of weeds and foreign grasses and was a constant source of angst for our HOA. PIE was upfront and told us they may not be able to bring it all the way back. Today it is in excellent health with no stray grasses or weed patches. I cannot commend them enough.

After well over 8 years we finally had to part ways. When I started with PIE they were leaps ahead of others but now they are poor and rude at best. Their idea of weed control and green grass is subject to complaints. We installed fresh sod and within 2 of their treatments it was gone. When confronted they gave 3 different excuses depending on who you asked. When Joe Diaz called to discuss he was anything but helpful. We started pulling video from their visits and found they were not even treating the back yard. When confronted with this they became irate and combative, thats a good hint they knew they were wrong. Hired this company after putting in a new lawn. The week they were supposed to come out I called to verify and was told they were scheduled to come on Wednesday. Wed came and went - no show. I called that Friday and got someone else who said I was not on the schedule at all. They promised to send someone out the next week which they did. I got one more service out of them the following month and havent seen them since - its been two months. District manager was supposed to call me last month - never heard from him. I have no idea how the google reviews are higher than 1 star I can only assume as long as they respond to the complaint that helps keep their rating up? This company is a waste of time.

We have been a customer for more than 10 years and i terminated services from 2 properties my family and i own because their lack of professionalism to do their fertilization job. i already was warned by my family they dont do their job, but i was skeptical until just recently when i started working from home. on 9/12/19, i found a bill on my door for a $60 treatment visit, and i say when did they come since i was home watching tv all day. after checking my surveillance, i noticed the sides, back were never treated with fertilizer (according to joe manager, a guy with a manual spraying pump applying weed killer did). sent video to joe as proof and he threatened me to send me to collections if i didnt pay within 30 days for services not performed, im waiting for the 1st collection call so i can collect more than $60 in court. BUYERS BE AWARE OF PLANET EARTH!!!

The front office, technicians and managers do not care about customer service. Very disappointed with overall service.

I m really surprised with the very sudden decline we ve witnessed while using PIE. We came over to PIE with most of our neighbors over a year ago and everything was fantastic at first. No more weeds, the color of our lawn improved and customer service was always on point. In the last few months, our ligustrum trees developed a terrible fungus issue, we ve had weeds in our yard once again and our lawn is riddled with dead grass. Nothing changed on our end. We always follow their watering guidelines and take very good care of our yard. We finally threw in the towel this week and made the transfer to a different company. I hope they get to the bottom of what s happening. Sadly, 2.5 stars.

I tried this company out for almost a year to take care of my front and back lawn and also paid for their pest service. Never saw a difference from before they started working on my lawn. After installing cameras on my house, I discovered that they only quickly spray the portion of my lawn that faces the street. Ive been paying for 2/3 acre to be treated and they cover less than a 40ft x 40ft patch every time. I called several times asking them to fix the situation and they told me they were sorry and would make it good next time. They came out the following month and did the same poor effort. I called again requesting to cancel my service and they talked me into allowing them to credit my account for the prior two times and promised they would do a complete job the next time. They came out the following month and treated even less of my lawn and one of their techs just kicked a patch of weeds with his shoe then jumped in their truck and left. Its my fault for not believing the poor reviews about their customer service and lawn care quality. Dont waste your time or money on this company as there are better qualified/less commercial folks out there that will create a lawn care plan specific to your yard..instead of just using what is on their truck for that day and just getting what everyone else gets sprayed on their lawn.
