Relative of mine used the company and an associate worked for them. Both referred me to them because I wanted to see if I could save on fall clean-up from the company I was using. When they finally got back to me after weeks, the price they offered was more than DOUBLE the company I used charged, yet I’ve seen their work and it’s mediocre. Others have told me similar stories about incompetent management taking weeks, even months to respond to calls or emails, possibly bc they have abysmal social skills. Owner is a con artist according to my now former employee friend, does things like inflate mulch amounts by 5 yards, promised one wage to a new hire then secretly paid him $3 an hour less for months, suddenly refuses earned vacation time. Don’t hire this company
I just had shoulder surgery and needed my 300’ driveway plowed and salted. Chris did not hesitate to come by the next morning and take care of everything. Very good communication and they show up when they say they will. Professional service and very happy to have them work at our home anytime.
Ahlgren has done a great job of taking care of our condo complex. They provide a range of services from lawn care, to snow plowing and offer reasonable prices. And the crew is very professional!!
Ahlgren completed the second contracted project at our home and we couldn’t be happier with the process and results. From contact to contracting Chris (owner) was on point and up front with all aspects of the job and the planning. His crews were very hard working and easy to work with. The project lasted a few days and every evening the crew cleaned up the property before leaving. Chris and crew at Ahlgren exceeded our expectations. Already planning next project knowing I will get fair pricing and a passionate effort from start to finish. I now have used Ahlgren for a hardscape and a landscape project. Impressive results with both.
We are happy with our years of service with Ahlgren’s. The owner always answers our questions promptly. In the many years they have cared for our landscaping we always have consistent teams. We have only had one change of teams which says a lot to us about their employees job satisfaction and retention. Each team has been polite and respectful of our yard and the work is always beautiful. Love having people who take pride in their work taking care of us.

Would absolutely recommend this company. We had 20 arborvitae‘s planted in our backyard. We also had our entire front and back lawn harley raked and put top soil on followed by hydro seeding. Business is run very professional. Terrie in the front office was always available in answering questions or getting Chris the owner to get back to me. Chris, was on site ensuring job was done right. They were extremely responsive after the job was done as well. Very satisfied.
I hired them to remove old gardens on my property that I could no longer maintain. They removed all of the old plantings very quickly and cleaned/cleared out the area (including grinding down a large tree stump). They also seeded and hayed the area. Very happy with the results. The guys on the job were friendly and polite. Would highly recommend their services. Thank you so much for the great work.

I shopped around quite a bit for mulch. This is the first time doing mulch in our new home. We ordered 20yards to be spread. I was a little worried at first about having them spread it, since we have sooo many flowers but they were amazing! They made sure not to spray ontop of the flowers and hand spread underneath the flowers and made sure that the mulch got underneath all the shrubbery. I was planning to spend the afternoon cleaning up and touching it up...but there is nothing for me to do. I highly recommend Ahglren for your mulch needs. And if you dont want to spend countless hours being eaten by bugs, have them do it for you too!

I thought the crew did an amazing job with the first cut of the season! I m really excited to see this season! The crew went above and beyond to clear our garden beds of leaves and trimmed/edged all our beds... It was definitely a bright spot in with has been a strange time
Chris has handled the maintenance of a property I have rented for the past two years. He has dropped the ball on every occasion possible. I had actually had to send him the definition of snow removal after he continued to only plow/shovel the first 10 feet of my driveway. Out of the 3 entrances to my house only one was cleared leaving the rest piled with snow. This was all if they actually showed up at all and didn t just leave me to do it myself. If that s not enough, for fall cleanup leaves were just pushed underneath the deck of the house or onto the property line leaving them to blow right back into the yard. He is supposed to be handling my lawn care until the end of the month which he was paid to do and it looks like I m going to have to get a goat soon because my front lawn is a forest. Shame on me for not looking for another service sooner.
