Not worth the money. While their pricing is competitive, their service leaves much to be desired. During their first visit, they applied fertilizer around plants in the back corner of my yard, despite explicit instructions when scheduling the service not to do so. There’s even a large sign next to the plants warning against this. Another issue is that I live on a half-acre, and their large spreader machine doesn’t fit through my back gate. Instead of using a more appropriate push-behind spreader, they resort to a small hand spreader, which is not suited for large lawns. They’re here for 10 minutes, and there’s no way a proper application can be done in that short amount of time using such inadequate equipment. All their invoices are timed stamped so you know they are not doing a thorough job. What’s frustrating is that they have a smaller machine that fits through my gate, but they continue showing up with the oversized one. This points to poor communication within their company, as these are simple issues to resolve. To make matters worse, my lawn hasn’t been in great shape this year, with more weeds than I’ve had with other services. Overall, it’s been a waste of money.
Spring Green services are worth the investment - not only in the results of a great looking, healthy lawn, but in their overall customer service. Our technician, Tim, is courteous, professional, and careful to ensure his work is done well. He takes time before each application to detail with me what the day's work will do for the grass/soil including what responsibilities I have for ensuring it's effective and lasting. (Do I need to keep the dog off the grass for an hour? Do I need to water later to ensure the product gets to the roots?) Consistent care, clear explanations, and value are what I look for in any paid program and Spring Green delivers year after year.
Aaron, the service provider came on the date that I received the telephone call; weather permitted. I spoke with Aaron, briefly and inform him to make sure to treat my yard on the other site of the fence. His response were yes sir Mr Madison I'll take care of that too. Eric did a fantastic job on my lawn! I really appreciated how polite and friendly he was as I asked many questions pertaining to the service application process. My children and I observed his work, and he was calm, professional, and not at all intimidating to the kids. His work exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend him. Elijah was our service provider today. He greeted us nicely and explained the work he was going to do before beginning the service. I always like that because that satisfies the curiosity in me about what is happening with the yard and the service. Just had a terrible core aeration service. We had zero notice, so I was unable to flag my irrigation heads, and the tech broke our electronic dog fence, broke a pop up drain clearly visible in the yard, and left ruts and damaged my lawn. Not happy!
Update: 10.30.24 Great experience with Benjamin coming out and servicing our lawn. He was very communicative and was nice enough to check for grubs and make recommendations. Good guy, thank you! ---- Philip is an awesome lawn tech. He takes the time to listen and communicate with his customers, does a great job and is very quick and efficient. Customer service was great! Oscar called me before coming out earlier in the month and at my request, and without issue, they postponed my aeration (to allow me time to finish my own outdoor project). This morning I called to schedule, they said they could come out today (with my verbal authorization) and in several minutes Oscar was pulling up with the equipment. He assisted, as I marked my sprinkler heads, verified that I didn’t have an electronic dog fence, and completed the aeration quickly and professionally. He was friendly, knowledgeable , and offered up advice for overseeding and re-seeding some of my heat/drought stressed areas.
Our technician, Charles, is incredibly professional and always very attentive.

Non responsive in irrigation even when returned a couple phone calls mislead on when they might return to fix system they knew was broken and blamed it on inability to hire qualified people which we where stuck with Used to be great on fixing lawns, still might be ,but on irrigation start up and fixing lacking in response

Can the technicians leave notes on the invoice regarding pets, watering and cutting the grass after applying fertilizer? It is up to the local technician what information they leave and some leave nothing on these issues. Should you not cut your grass for a day, two days? Do you water right after application if it is granular or liquid? I assume no pets on the grass if it is a liquid, but granular is Okay for pets? Otherwise all is good.

Manuel rang the doorbell and let me know he was here. The only problem was he left the back gate open when he left. As I have mentioned before, we have 3 dogs who are all runners. If I had not checked before letting them out, we would have a big problem on our hands.

Dog toys in grass were not picked up before application was applied in the back yard. There is no advance notice of when you are coming. Items that pets and children touch and put in their mouths should be picked up before any application. Common courtesy.

Recently switched to spring green. Was with trugreen for years and years but after after bad service and results decided to cancel them and take the lawn on myself. Turns out I don t have the time or commitment so I called spring green and started service. Jose came out for our first application yesterday, I wasn t home but he called before and talked to me about the lawn and what he was doing and then called again after the application to give some feedback and recommendations on some things he saw. Great personal service already that I never got with the other company, looking forward to having spring green going forward.

Knocked on the door before he fertilized to ask a simple question, and then proceeded to spray the entire lawn and I presume that was the entire process. He did ask before he sprayed if we needed anything else besides the grass sprayed- I informed him I wasnt aware of any exceptions.

Oscar was excellent SG was not On Sept26 I Contacted and paid SG with the expectation that the service would occur in the next 7-10 days per Maria When that did not happen I called SG Monday and Maria said service could not come until next week and they would call Oscar showed up this morning with no call and the tall grass was not mowed. I have missed the fall seeding window which I really wanted.
