Last service call sat and watched their tech having animated call in his truck. Carried on for 15 to 20 minutes in truck. He then proceeds to do stop races through yard with spreader in front of house drags out hose runs through back returns and packs up. A whole 5 or less minutes. Called and cancelled service funny thing getting bills for full service. That is a joke no service is worth 15 dollars a minute.
Staff was friendly. Quick delivery (next day) available which was a surprise, however, the delivery fee was almost as much as the firewood itself. This was our fault as we did not ask ahead of time the cost for delivery but, didn’t expect it to practically double the total cost. If we use this company again we will definitely pick up the product ourselves. Most pieces of wood had areas that were visibly wet. Tried picking out what we thought were the driest pieces to use in our fireplace that day but still had moisture and were hard to keep lit. So you will have to dry it out a bit on your own & isn’t necessarily delivered dry.
Online states “all our mulch is organic.” Not true, unless you think small plastic pieces, aluminum foil and plastic bag pieces are organic. I DO NOT think plastic is organic nor do I believe that is the definition in retail. Therefore, this is false advertisement and not a good product. Some of our “non organic” treasures photo attached.
Ely is the MAN! He loaded a HEALTHY full face of mixed in the back of my pickup with a front end loader. I couldn't believe his precision as I'm just waiting for my back window to be broken with the wood pieces dropping. No way, not by Ely! The wood is fresh, clean and seasoned properly. The price was right and with the $10 off coupon from clipper it was a no brainer to shop here. Ely also took the time to educate me on how to identify what types of wood were in the mix and also gave me some great ideas on another project I'll be coming back here to get the materials for. His ideas will save me a ton of $$ from what I was originally thinking to do. Thanks Ely!
My original post was a bad review. I posted it before I got to speak with anyone about what i ordered. Rick came out and totally understood my issue and agreed that it was bad batch. He was willing to work with me to correct and resolve the issue. Will update with photos when work is complete. But I am very happy that this company was willing to help me out, most companies wouldn't do what Green T is. The fact that they are willing to fix and help with the problem is amazing. I will be going to Green T for more of my projects. Original I ordered 4 yards of topsoil. Great price and service was on time. The soil i received looks nothing like they said though. It's extremely clumpy and almost clay like. Not even black soil. Nothing like what was advertised. Not sure if this was just a bad batch or what. It absolutely won't work for my yard or garden.

I have been burning wood for the past 10 years and have used various suppliers. Without a doubt - Rick and Main Street team lead the way with quality and customer service. I no longer use other suppliers. They are it. I highly recommend this company. Rick as always delivered on time and when needed. Even on the shortest notice.
Rick was fantastic to deal with for my firewood purchase! Pleasant and incredibly interested in making sure I got EXACTLY what I was looking for....AND he offered to deliver it the same day (even though I called two hours before closing.) Asked our son to go pick up firewood that we ordered and he went to the wrong location. About 20 minutes before they closed, we realized his mistake. My husband called the right location and they stayed late so we could pick it up and enjoy a fire before the snow storm! This is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The guy gave us his card, his name is ELI! Rick was a pleasure to work with. I ordered high quality dyed brown mulch at a great price and it was delivered the same day. I was a few yards short and called Rick to order some more and he came through very quickly. If you need mulch in Plainfield put these guys at the top of your list.
On the 3rd of April, I had the pleasure of working with Rick. Talk about someone with one goal in mind, customer satisfaction. After almost 20 years in the industry, I can say Rick was hands down the best Ive ever gone through for landscaping material needs. To say Rick was polite and courteous would be an understatement. GREAT LUMBER AND OUTDOOR YARD!!!! My family went to visit because we pass by all of the time. The gentlemen who helped us (Owner) was very friendly, nice to work with and gave us great deals. They have items for lawn decoration, stones of course, great quality smoking wood and camp fire wood.

Their loads of rock are so short and priced higher than everyone else.. I have small strips of landscaping and some How it took 11.5 tons to fill them.. and they can only deliver 1.5 tons at a time and its 75 bucks a delivery...

Not only is the guy here a straight shooter, he is always pleasant when we come in for our winter firewood purchases. I cant see buying firewood form anyone else. Im told we should give their mulch and stone a fair shot and since were in the market for such this summer, we will definitely give them first shot at a bid

The best mulch around
Really disappointed, my husband talked to someone at the store and asked what would be considered 2 truck loads of mulch. The person on the phone said 2 yards-- with the price of delivery-- what we expected based on what we were told, no where near it. Whats even more sad- my husband was able to fit what was delivered in his truck. My husband went into the store after receiving what he felt was a mistake and was told, well you didnt state what kind of truck you had. Please understand we are not expert lawn people and paying $45 for delivery on something that could fit in my husbands truck was not what my husband was told. Since I felt this was miscommunication on your part- I called and asked Jeff if he would drop off additional yards that we would pay for without having to pay another $45 due to your mistake. He stated absolutely not great customer service Jeff. So to end my story, my husband returned the mulch.. In one load none the less. Train your team how to explain what will be delivered. Deceiving your customers is what happened here. We will not be back, and I will do my best to spread the word about your poor customer service.

If I could leave no stars I would. Sold us the wettest wood possible. Bought firewood and it just boils in the fireplace.

I wish I could leave less than 1 star. Ive been ordering firewood for the restaurant I manage from them the past few weeks. I called many times today. Finally they answered. I heard stop f**king calling!. I called back and questioned if they were serious. They hung up on me. I guess we dont deserve respect because we only order a face cord. Phone issue. They called me back and apologized. Stand up company.
