I would never use this company. I called for quote for a very simple job and they verbally told me an around what is should cost but when they sent the proposal it was more than double. Trust me I use many landscaping companies Sage are price gouging. I ve used Ince Landscaping and while they are not cheap they won t rip you off tell you one thing and then send you another. Plus I can vouch for their work. It s quality.

I retained Sage Landscaping last summer for a sizable project in my backyard. I had a general idea of what I was looking for, but when Ed Sage came to my home for the first consultation, he listened to what I (thought) I wanted and made recommendations that significantly improved on what I envisioned. Ed worked with me to design the project, even down to the color of the paver stones his team installed! He was extremely knowledgable, patient, and his confidence and expertise allayed any concerns I had. The work that his team performed has completely transformed our experience in the backyard. I would rate 10 stars if I could!

We recently engaged Sage Landscaping Contractors to install an underground drainage system for our backyard that had recurring water retention. George and his crew did an excellent job and provided excellent customer satisfaction. Ed Sage is very knowledgeable in this area and provided a blueprint for George and his crew to follow, completing the job in 2 days time. We are very pleased with the results.

We highly recommend Sage Landscaping. Their work has really given us peace of mind, and we really appreciate all their hard work! If you need regrade work done, absolutely call Sage! When we first purchased our home, we noted that there were some drainage issues, particularly with water pooling towards the foundation, and water draining improperly through the backyard. Sage Landscaping was recommended to us by another contractor, and Im so glad we used their services! Sage regraded our front and back yards, so water now pitches away from the front of the house, and moves along a new drainage ditch created along our back fence line. Were now 9 months post-regrade, and after every heavy rain event (which used to cause serious problems), we can happily report that water now perfectly moves away from our homes foundation and through our backyard. Its been satisfying to see that rainstorms that would have previously posed a problem are handily dealt with by the regrade. Lastly, Sage Landscaping stands by their work and makes things right. About a week after our initial regrade, we had a downpour that washed out some of the regrade work, and washed away grass seed that had been planted after the regrade. We also discovered that water wasnt quite draining correctly along the drainage ditch. Sage promptly sent out a crew who repaired the wash-out, re-seeded our yard with grass, and fixed the problem spot in our regrade to prevent future problems. Additionally, during the course of the regrade, we had a cherry tree that had roots that had to be partly cut to install drainage. Unfortunately, that tree died after the regrade work, but Sage made things right by removing and replacing the tree. We really cant recommend Sage Landscaping highly enough! Kudos for a job very well done, and excellent customer service.

Ed and Marcus patiently took the time to design and help choose brick that matched our existing yard. They spent time listening and making thoughtful suggestions. They are not only professional but extremely personable. Our patio and landscaping never looked better and we couldn t be happier!

We ve used Sage for over 20 years. Big or small projects it doesn t matter. Each and every time we got exceptional results. Our recent dilemma was a plugged gutter drainage system that unfortunately backed up into our basement with these July storms. Marcus responded immediately and his crew tackled the job and our yard looks as if nothing happened! Absolutely awesome

Work done to connect the sump pump to the storm drain, and connect drainage from the gutters to the storm drain, around the house (required a lot of digging and laying pipes). I was having issues with water leaking into the basement. Pleasure to work with, a very efficient well-oiled team (office & the guys on the job), absolute professionals. Sage Landscape bought their expertise to solve the problems that I was having and the solution is working so far. Would definitely use them in the future.

We recently had some major landscaping work done by Sage, and their design and execution were truly excellent! We have had drainage problems that recent rainstorms have exacerbated. The folks at Sage regraded and resodded areas around our house, installed new drainage pipes, and redid a patio that the storms had made almost unusable. They did the work professionally and beautifully. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Ed and his team are amazing to work with! After flooding from Ida, his team not only helped regrade our backyard but enhanced our existing catch basin system. Once completed they also helped us design, procure and install a proper sump pump system. Our work was completed as discussed and the end product exceeded our expectations.

My house is near the bottom of a hill, and I was getting a lot of rain water running across my back yard during bad rain storms. Sage created a swale near the back of the yard so that rain water would be diverted into a storm sewer. The swale has made a big difference in the amount of water running across my yard during bad storms, and the sump pump in my basement is even doing less work.

We cannot say enough about how much we appreciate the work of Ed and his team! We had an emergency situation with a tree that had fallen on our house and car and Sage came to the rescue. They were able to remove the tree without further damaging the house and worked into the dark to complete the job. They were extremely professional and I would highly recommend them in the future.

Had to have my landscape redone because of drainage issues. My yard would always flood after it rains. Sage did their magic and within 3 days they had finished the project. There is no more flooding. Great job Sage!!!

Excellent, quality work from Sage Landscaping! Complete renovation of front and side yards including removal of existing lawn, shrubs, and front and side walkways. Sage removed and resurfaced the areas, created two new walkways, added sod and beautiful shrubs and trees. Estimates were immediate and accurate, and Ed Sage is a talented planner who saw the final product, described it to us, and had his staff accurately execute on his vision. Eds staff is efficient, hard-working, and tidy - each day the premises were left clean and in order. Sages office staff, especially Pamela, is helpful and responsive, as is Ed Sage. Im very happy with the work we had done by Sage Landscape Contractors. Every person that I dealt with very professional. Ed Sage listened to me when we first spoke and gave me a very detailed estimate. His office staff was friendly whenever I spoke with them. The men who came out to do the work were amazing. We hired Sage landscaping to create a new backyard that involved clearing trees, regrading, and installing a retaining wall. From start to finish, I couldnt have been more pleased with the work and the end result. Ed Sage provided some very good advice in the design phase that really helped the project immensely in the end. The whole team that worked on the project was impressive and demonstrated a strong work ethic, competence, and a desire to do things the right way. No supervision needed, which is rare. I could completely trust the team. There were no slackers on the team and no one cutting corners. The whole team brought a can-do attitude which was a pleasure to deal with when changes were required from original project scope. While Sage wasnt the cheapest upfront, I believe they were the best value given the quality of work delivered. I will certainly be using Ed and his team going forward for all my landscaping needs.
