I was not happy with their service, so I stopped using them. They will not leave me alone. I have told them repeatedly to remove me from their call list. I have tried to block them, but they call from different numbers. Now its not even coming through on my caller ID as Weed Man.

My grass is green and the neighbors are yellow. They have dandelions I don t They always check if I have a questions they will come out check it out. and look at it. After trialing with a few fly by night lawn care companies in years past, I did my research and consciously choose a reputable company with Weed Man. We will not be looking back. Their technician, Tyler S, knows our yard and leaves personalized tips and comments in a follow up. Last year, we had a problem with our neighbor not treating their lawn and weeds spread into our yard. Tyler came out in between visits to eradicate the issue. Very satisfied and would highly recommend.

Extremely hard sell company. I felt like i was being scammed from the rep. he refused to let me see his proposal in writing. He insisted that i give him the ok and full payment without me getting it written down so i could see it. very high pressure , didnt listen to a thing I was looking for, he was only interested in making me take the full package of 7 treatments when all I wanted was weed control in spring. horrible company. very rude and un helpful

I have used Weed Man for over a decade. They are very nice, communicate regularly about service dates and my lawn has always looked fantastic with no weeds. I highly recommend Weed Man.

If I was legally allowed to post pictures of the company and its workers, no one would use weedman. You have 200k+ sq/ft yards and 20 stops that they expect you to finish by noon, therefore you have poor works and low quality. If theyd properly run the company and treat employees correctly, past employees would have good experiences. Trugreen or earthrite is the way to go for quality, assurance, price and professionalism.

I reached out to this company in order to have some tall grass removed. They informed me that this is not a service they offer (which is completely fine). However, my issue is that they call me almost every day. Even after I responded stating that I am not interested in their services. Edit: I appreciate their prompt response to this.

I use them for annual weed and feed applications. They do a good job and are reasonably priced. I would give them 5 stars if they didn t constantly try to upsell other products and services by calling my personal cell phone number. Their salespeople have lied saying there s issues with my lawn that are not true such as grubs. I m already a customer, damn Daniel. Edit: I read the technician notes. I receive sales calls about things not mentioned in the technician notes so your response is misleading at best.

I had them come out once to spray weeds and charged me double because my lawn was late being treated for the season. They came out and my backyard was not sprayed and still have dandelions. So if they did double the work, what did you actually do? I m been phone harassed twice since cancelling a month ago, very rude wanted to argue about it. Worst customer service!!

We are in our second year of using Weedman! I love having them as a lawn company. I always have a ton of questions and the technician is kind and has the patience of a saint and answers each and every one of them. He is informative and gives us good advice and I have to say our yard looks wonderful. We have neighbors come take pictures and ask who we use to get such a beautiful lawn. Highly Recommend them for any of your lawn needs.

Do not use. Not honest about service and what it includes. Not to mention that after the first 2 treatments my back yard has more weeds than ever. Then customer service talks down to you and wants to argue. I dont not recommend.

I have found this particular franchise to be responsive and professional, I appreciate that they provide me with additional options, but do not pressure or up-sell any extra services. I also find the feedback that the technicians provide after each service to be specific to my exact lawn and useful information.

Weed Man is rejuvenating our lawn after doing business with another turf company.

We have used Weed Man for several years. They always call before they come out to work on our lawn, use organic materials (at our request), and never leave a mess. Our yard looks great as a result of the service they provide throughout the year.

They do a great job with my lawn, not pushy with sales, and have excellent customer service.

The Weed Man is very high quality. While we used them our lawn was fantastic. However, it seems like they are a lifelong commitment. Since I stopped service with them after repeated requests to be removed from their calling list, they continue to call me to try and restart service at least once a month during the warm months. This has gone on for over 3 years now.

I use this company for my aeration needs as I do everything thing else myself. These guys are great and have just given me the best job ever. My yard is full of plugs which is the way I like it. We used Weedman Lawn care a while back after our new sod was settled in. They came out gave us a quote and did some treatments. Two seasons later we are still fighting what I think they never took care of as at the end of the season we used them the weeds were so bad we had to find someone else. This was brand new sod. So what ever they used promoted weed growth vs killing it. Maybe that s how they get business by making things worse so they can fix it . As for their CS it s ok. But their marketing STINKS. They keep calling me repeatedly. I have asked many times for them to remove me from their call list yet they don t listen. The guy on the phone keeps pushing for a sale even when I tell him to take me off the call list and remove all my information. This company is not as good as advertised. And the name Weedman need to be changed to We Give you Weeds Man because that s all I have been fighting since they came and treated my lawn for a whole season.

The office staff is great they follow through with their words. They really do use the best products on the market. They are local what more can I say.

After 1 application my lawn is finally starting to green.

I have used Weedman for two years. This year Weedman over fertilized my lawn and killed half of my lawn! No compensation! This is the second year they have put a grub control on my lawn but I now have a mole. He is only there to feed on grubs which Weedman supposedly put on my yard! I wasnt home when the technician came so who knows what he did but I was charged $144! Go with Cardinal Lawn service so much better!!!

When I bought my current house the lawn was awful. I decided to try Weed Man. The company proposed and delivered a plan of impovement. Within a couple of years I had a lawn that became one of the best in the neighborhood. I continue to use their services after many years to keep the lawn healthy and beautiful.

Anybody can come and spray your lawn to make it appear green, but if you want a fuller, healthier, and greener lawn that stays green and actually thickens. Give them a call. Instead of just taking my money for an application. WeedMan has armed me with knowledge to get results within months instead of years. Highly recommend.

The few days prior to our year end treatment we had 4 straight days of wind and rain bringing a large amount of leaves to the ground. Being conscious of this I was out as early as I could fire up the leaf blower to clear off the lawn prior to the WeedMan reps arrival to ensure he didnt apply the final treatment on top of all of the leaves instead of the yard. Well, the rep showed up, got his equipment off of the truck and proceeded to apply with regard as to what I was doing or where I had already cleared the yard. He just made his 2 min path across more than 6k SQFT of lawn with his equipment on the wrong setting not applying the proper amount of product and on top of all the leaves giving no cares at all. This is not the conduct that I would expect for a service that I have paid for.

I am totally pleased with Weed Man and recommend it highly. If I need to change an appointment, they understand and accommodate me without question. Thank you.

Constantly harassing sales calls despite me telling them to stop

Can t believe it has been 3 years since my last post but good things never change. Met Justin the other day and boy was I impressed. His product knowledge is without question and he took the time to educate me on the best way to handle bare spots in my yard. Looking forward to working with him this coming year. Shout out to Jessica as well. As part of my last treatment I had put seed down on those bare spots I mentioned and couldn t have the treatment applied to those areas or it would kill the seed I put down and wouldn t let me lay more for several weeks so we had that section of the yard skipped. Shortly after Justin left I received a text from Jessica and she said they would be pro-rating my bill for the area not treated. I did not ask for this nor was I expecting it. This only supports my previous review about amazing the customer service is that the company provides! Thank you!! WOW!!! Finally nice to write a positive review. For some reason nowadays seems like companies are all about not owning up to their mistakes but not Weed Man. Have been a customer for several years and what they have been able to accomplish with my yard(s) is amazing and now they have demonstrated their commitment to the customers they serve. I had my yard aerated yesterday and despite having my dog fence marked it got cut. Called and left a message last night alerting them to the fact that it was cut. I just received a call from Jodi (sorry if it is Jody! :-) and to my surprise what was her message, we will make it right, a little paraphrasing there but she made my day. Based on recent experiences with other companies I was expecting the not our fault, but today. If you are looking for a lawn service company this is it, go no further, stop looking, call...call....call. Not only will you have a great looking lawn you know what they stand for and that is GREAT client experience.

If i could post pics i would. Went to Weedman for the 2019 season after hoping i could upgrade. What a disaster. Lawn looks worse than it ever has, even pretreatment days when we first moved in. After losing the front portion I realized it wasnt being treated. When i called, the owner came out to tell me...it hadnt been treated. Their offer for losing the yard... a free treatment. No thanks.

This is our third year having Weedman treat our yard. My wife and I could not be happier with the results. The yard is by far the best it has ever been. We have referred numerous people to them and they feel the same way we do. As I was working in the yard last weekend, I was thinking about what would be a great slogan for the quality work Weedman does and my thought was, that s a Weedman yard . People notice the difference. Proud to say our yard is a Weedman yard!

Before I used Weed Man I tried to do weed control myself with Scotts and it never worked. Since Weed Man, no weeds and a great lawn. They are professional and respond very quickly. Customer care and service is top notch.

Watched yard get worse and worse with another service over 3-4 years. Finally switched after their last treatment burned my yard. Switched to Weedman after seeing their results on neighboring yards. Just got the first treatment today by a tech named Austin and was impressed with his knowledge. Based on his recommendation I added summer insect control. I expect my yard will be on par (or better) than most in my neighborhood soon.

Weeds were never sprayed. Had them spring into summer and not one weed died. Even used a call back and nothing improved. First application was stripped and 3rd got burned in the side yard.... Ill stick to doing it myself.

I was hesitating about using someone from Columbus as I live in Dayton. They came out posted their flag on my lawn but didnt do anything. I have cameras covering my property which I sure they didnt know and my gate was locked. Again explain to me what I owe you. You got caught and want me to pay for something I never got. I only phone call I received is to tell me I was past due. I already called you and explained everything all you did was want to argue with me. You have to call for everything, let me explain: 1. They do not treat any weeds that not exactly on the lawn. Any pathways or exposed dirt around trees will be ignored. 2. Any weeds not on the current treatment list will be ignored. Even of the employee doing the treatment literally walks over it, it will not be mentioned, like it does not exist. 3. If you had something treated and they are now here for something else, they will not take note of any supplemental application needed. Even if they see that weeds patch, it will be ignored. I am not giving them one star because people on the phone are always polite. The problem is technician doing applications are like robots, they will not take any innitiave or make any adjustments on their own. With a name like weedman, someone would expect them to take care of weeds, but after a year of service there are still weeds everywhere.

Theyd be a great company if they actually listen to their customers wishes. We have two dogs. When they fertilize they tell you not to let your dogs out for two hours after the fertilization. My husband and I have asked them repeatedly to call and let us know an hour a head of time before they come out to treat our yard. Instead of doing this, they just show up. Whats even worse than that is they dont knock on your door to let you know they are there. The just start treating your yard and then leave your receipt on your front door. So most of the time I dont even know they have treated until Ive already let my dogs out. One time someone showed up while I had my dog outside in MY backyard. The guy who showed up to fertilize didnt realize this. Thankfully my dogs are pretty nice dogs, but if that had been a vicious dog instead, their OWN EMPLOYEE could have been hurt. Im tired of asking them to call an hour before they come out. They dont listen. They will call me a day ahead of time, but do not give me a time range in which they will be there. Meaning it helps me nor my dogs in anyway. Also, they renew your contract without even notifying you. They say they sent a letter in the mail, but I havent recieved anything. Instead I had a man show up at in my yard unannounced again. This is ridiculous. I cancelled my contract and will be going with a different company this year instead.

I was referred to Weed Man and was happy at first. After some damage to my lawn I had them re-seed and thats when I noticed how poor the service was. The crew that came out missed entire portions of my lawn, seeded in areas I clearly had marked off limits, and threw seed in each of my mulched areas. When questioned, they had someone come back out to inspect the lawn and found no issues. Fast forward to this spring and my lawn looks terrible and I will never use their services again.

Claimed they serviced yard, and I was at home when they supposedly came by. They left no invoice on my porch, and no flag on my grass. I was then emailed a bill a day later. There were no tracks in my yard from a spreader...which is further proof they lied about the service. Very disappointed.

Last year I had alot of problem with them getting my Lawn started. They fixed most of the problems. This year I am at the point where I am about to stop my service. A service person put fertilizer on my lawn before the 4th of July and alot of places did not have any fertilizer. Called and ask to talk to a manager but was unable. They said they would have the manager Come out on Monday. I called and I guess the managers Are too busy to talk to their customer. So their service person that didnt do his job the 1st time is coming back. The manger said it was a 3 hour drive.Guess its too hard for him to do his job. If it s too hard to service Dayton maybe you should find some closes city so you can check to make sure your customers are getting the right service.

You be the judge. I was referred to The Weedman by a neighbor who had wonderful results with them. She told me they called before they came out and if I was not happy with the service they would come out and make it right. I established an account and was contacted on Fri, 05 Apr that they would be at my home next Monday to do the Early Spring Fertilizer treatment. I ran out that Saturday morning out and rented an aerator and purchased 60 pounds of grass seed to aerate and overseed my lawn. Aeration and seeding was completed on Saturday lawn was being watered twice a day. I returned home on Monday and found that the Weedman had been there are treated the lawn. I called and informed them and their response was that they were not informed about the aeration and seeding. My answer is anyone in the lawn care business would see the plugs left by the aeration and the seeds still visible on the ground. The gentleman that I spoke to said he spoke to the office manager relayed the message to me lets wait and see if anything germinates and we will go forward from there . Nothing germinated. I called The Weedman back, spoke to the office manager and she told me that when they left the message for me on Fri, 05 Apr saying that they would be there next Monday that really meant this Monday, 08 Apr and I should have known that. Bottom line, they took ZERO responsibility for the situation. What do you think? Follow up. Read WeedMans response. Obviously they did not read mine. Therir message did not say they would be at my residence this coming Monday but next Monday. If you invite someone to come to your house for a party on Friday and tell them it will be next Monday would you expect them in three days or ten days. I would bet everything I have that most intelligent people would expect them in ten days. I guess intelligence is the key word. Or professionalism would be another key word and maybe customer service oriented. In my opinion all of these were lacking in my interaction with the WeedMan in resolving my issue. You be the judge

Weedman Lawn Service charged me for a $69 dollar lawn service that I never received!! I am exhausted from trying to prove to the company that I never received the service. I regret that I give up!! I have decided to pay for the service. The company has wore me down by relentlessly insistence that the service was done based on a GPS 15 min tracker that the office manager stated shows the service worker performed the service. I am tired of trying to prove that I never got the service. I have wasted a considerable amount of time listening to Sarah the office manager and Jessica the customer service representative, who both sounds like the same person tell me over and over again what they said was done. I cancelled the service and will never use their service again!!

Weed Man was extremely easy company to work with. They were always back to my house within 2 days of me reporting weeds in my lawn for a free spot treatment. In my opinion Weed Man has the best customer service and highest quality products of any company I have ever used. Really saw the difference with their speacial granular fertilizer in thickening up my lawn. Highly recommend. I have had nothing but a positive experience since I jumped on board with the Weed Man!!!!!

After years of having a less then attractive lawn we hired Weedman. Best decision we made. Cost is very reasonable, they are always on time, great customer service. We now have neighbors asking what weve done because the yard looks so great.

Have had this lawn service for last 3 years and my lawn grass fanatic husband LOVES them...says yard is best it ever been -even in the off season of winter.. He also loves the discount to renew in December for the next year at a great savings! Their customer care is awesome....Now if only we could get the neighbor next to us in the green house to take pride in their lawn and use them then their yard might start being healthy and look cared for.... Love our Weed Man!
