Always alerts you and much better lawn for less money than prior companies Ive tried

Ive used Perf-a-lawn for 8 years now. The appearance of my lawn continues improving each year. The technicians that care for my lawn seem to know what, when and where to apply fertilizers and if I call, they are quick to respond and follow-up with an onsite visit. I also use there them to aerate my lawn and they are always courteous when onsite and when speaking with me. I take advantage of their year end pricing for the upcoming year which is a plus for those continuing their services. I would highly recommend them as a service.

Always do a decent job

For years they have provided me good lawn care treatments with both, fertilizing and weed prevention. Todays first application was done by Jordan Dembski. Jordan took time to talk to me in both a professionally and friendly way! I appreciated that! Very nice young man! Just got my summer application done by Robert. The day was windy but Robert took extra precautions with his spray, holding it low to the ground to prevent overspray. Robert was very professional and personable. Very nice talking to him!

I have had this service for several years now and couldnt be happier. They arrive and perform service and half the time I dont even know they were here until I see the sign stuck in the yard!!! Excellent company and crews.

For years we treated our own lawn using the Scotts system. The grass was pretty thick but we had a lot of weeds mixed in. We did not want to deal with it anymore so we decided to have a professional company take over. Perfalawn got many good reviews and was affordable so I chose them. I prepaid for the year and they sent me an email the night prior to the first treatment. They left a generic note stating what they applied. After a few weeks, the weeds were gone, but we were left with dead spots all through the yard. As they continued the treatments, the dead spots got worse. I thought that we needed to aerate and reseed, which we did in the fall using high quality grass seed. Perfalawn specifically says that you need to tell them if you are spreading grass seed because their formulation will prevent any new grass from growing. I did this, though they never provided much notice of their arrival and they never confirmed that they changed the formulation to accomodate the new seed. When spring arrived, zero grass grew and our yard looks horrible. We have bare dirt spots everywhere and an odd moss that I have never seen before growing close to the ground everywhere as well. Throughout the process, I contacted them once or twice with concerns about how terrible the lawn looked and asked for recommendations, but I did not receive any response....just the standard sheet I always got. I even told them that if it were me, I would be embarrassed to leave a sign in the yard letting others know that my company was responsible for the mess. I found them to be very impersonal, unprofessional, non responsive and their product is terrible. Do not let them touch your yard, you will regret it.

Worst customer service ever! Very disrespectful and unprofessional. When faced with a legit question about billing, a guys who works here, Micah, says he cant do nothing about it and starts calling a customer dude. Hey Micah dude, you seriously ought to take a class in business communications and learn a thing or two about how you speak with a customer.

We have been a customer of Perf a lawn for about 10 years. The grass is healthy & weed free. We get compliments all the time on how beautiful our grass looks. We are always called & emailed before they come & the customer service is excellent. Discounts are offered if you prepay for the year of service. Great company!

Encountered one of their drivers on 376 east near Robinson towne center, the guy was going way over the speed limit, weaving in and out of traffic, driving aggressively close to people in front of him and he even brake checked one driver. When i called the bussiness phone number to let them know what one of their drivers was doing the phone was answered by some accounts manager that was just as rude as the driver was. I doubt he relayed my concerns about the drivers behavior on the road in a company vehicle to anyone that would have anything to say about it. Overall it was a very poor encounter with this business and i feel they had 2 employees that represented very poorly and unprofessionally. FPB-5619

Extremely unprofessional is an understatement. First never showed up. Then called in and telling you they came out and did the lawn but when I checked my house cameras no one ever came. So we called back in AGAIN and told them they were never there. We were informed the gps took them to the wrong house now and will come back out. That was a week ago. I called back into today to see why no one has came back out again and was told when someone was back our way they d get to it. Not the answer I wanted to hear when I was already lied to once saying they came and then no urgency to fix there mistake. At this point the man became very upset and raising his voice telling me he has more important things to do instead of trying to help resolve an issue on the phone. Will 100% be taking our business elsewhere

Weve had perf-a-lawn for years. When I had called with a lawn question, the person was very knowledgeable. They also had their supervisor come out to my home to look it over and make any suggestions. They explained what would help and why. I am very pleased with the service we have received.

They never miss an appointment. My lawn looks wonderful every year.

I like that they email you days before they are coming so there are no surprises when you see a stranger in your yard! we had perf-a-lawn come and spray our yard yesterday, 4/19/22 and i wanted to leave a review saying they left our side fence door open allowing our dog to get out. Thankfully we caught it and our dog did not go anywhere, this also randomly happened last year and i just wanted to leave a review for pet owners to be cautious of this service, very very neglection behavior on their employees

Ive been a happy customer over the last 4 years. My yard looks amazing thanks to PerfALawn treatments! Highly recommended.

I have used this service for years and had grub control applied every year. At least every 3 times we had grubs tear up our lawn. This last time, the service was terrible. Had to place a call more than once to have the lawn looked at and was guaranteed that they would be out to plant the grass seed. Had to call to get the grass seed planted and all they did was throw grass feed over the overturned lawn from the grubs. I held off payments until I received satisfaction with the inconsistent service and number of calls I had to make. Once satisfied, payment was satisfied. I call to find out when they would be out for spring treatment and they said they had canceled my service back in September of 2020. They indicated the only way for me to resume service was for my to give them a credit card so they would take payment after service. What type of company cancels your service with no notice and expects a credit card on file after years of being a customer with horrible results. They should be giving me a discount on my service for what my yard looked like, no follow up calls to see if customer is satisfied, plus when I called my records were not documented accordingly. Time to spread the word! Yes,I indeed paid for the grub control but when I had grubs that is when I held the payment until satisfaction guarantee comes into play. I had told the service tech until I was satisfied I was not completing the payment. Also it gets a little frustrating when you get voicemails of we havent received payment when I have online banking set up and it already was deducted from my account. Not once but more than once the check was sitting there on someones desk. Also, It was not communicated to me about paying up front. He indicated that if I want to start service he would need a credit card on file. No need for any more communication, I have moved on.

I have used their services for a few years now. They have always shown up when they were supposed to and have never had any complaints. I have also had them do a tick treatment. The cost is very affordable and I get compliments on our yard often.

Especially like the phone notification before treatment. It is not always easy to be prepared for the early and late season applications due to the exceptionally high volume of maple / oak leaves constantly accumulating in our yard. Therefore, rescheduling the application can be made very easily and always at our convenience. The technicians are very knowledgeable and offer their advice for maintaining a healthy lawn.

I usually prepay in Dec to get nice discount on weed control and this year started using pest control spray service too. Very Professional and transparent billing. After every service they leave a leaflet explaining what was done and how long not sent pets out on sprayed lawn. Website also works great for self-service on add/deleting services. I give them 5 stars. I have been with them for many many years now. If asked, they would respray for free if you see any weeds coming up in lawn for any reason.

They provide a report on the lawn aftereach visit (both hard copy and electronic versions). I have virtually no weeds and the grass stays nice and green. Highly recommend them.

Talk about a bunch of nice people. They serviced our yard on trash day. Two of the three cans were empty, so the lawn technician brought them down to my garage so thy would be out of the road. The third one, he moved it out of the way, did the servicing, then put it back for the trash men to get it. Not only does my yard look great, but their service is excellent. I use Perf-a-Lawn for lawn fertilization, weed and grub control. I believe the annual contract is priced right. They always meet their schedule and are very responsive if I have any issues or questions. I did have two cases of an uneven application over the last 10 years. When I saw the green stripes of grass, I called Perf-a-Lawn and they quickly remedied the situation via a service call. I think their ability to respond outweighs any minor application issues.

Perf A Lawn is very recommended to treat your lawn. I used to try and treat the lawn myself but the results werent comparable. After my first year it was an easy decision to continue with Perf A Lawn. The prices are reasonable, the service is good, customer service is very responsive, and after each visit you get what I refer to as a report card to go over what was done that visit and an overview of your lawn.

couldnt aerate my lawn. Not if I wasnt going to start annual service. My two neighbors have service. They could do it anytime they are servicing on our street. Disappointed.

When I got limes disease I called to add spraying for ticks to our weed control services and they were very fast and easy to work with. I also recently asked for them to spray for weeds on the other side of my house and they came out the very next day and added spraying that area with no additional charge.

We ve used Perf-A-Lawn for quite a few years for lawncare year round. They do a great job and are timely, professional, and responsive. We switched to another major service provider (who shall remain nameless) because of a deal they were offering. Their service was nowhere near as good and the lawn did not look great. We switched back to Perf-A-Lawn the next year.

At first good service..... fast forward to September 2018.... over fertilized my yard to the point of destruction. Called and voiced my concern. I ve had 5 service calls between September 2018 and March 2019 with my concerns since they guarantee their work and will work with the customer until they are satisfied.....On the last service call on March 27, 2019, told Andrew I will take them to court if he doesn t fix my yard. He told me if I plan on filing, he was not the person I should be talking to.. .On March 28, 2019, filed complaint with the local magistrate. Company signed for complaint but never showed for court hearing on May 7, 2019. I won by default but perf a lawn still has not fullfilled their end of the deal, or their obligation to pay me for fixing my lawn. Clearly don t recommend this company.

Acceptable service in the beginning. When things started to go wrong with bare spots in the lawn and several failed attempts of reseeding, work quality terrible. Cancelled after my first year sign on. Sorry guys, I always give good reviews, but feel it necessary to let people know. Perhaps service will improve.

Very Responsive!. Their communications as to when and what they plan to do for my lawn is very appreciated. Trouble spots are identified and explained what needs to be done to rectify the problem.

We have been using Perf-a-Lawn for several years now and have been very pleased. They always call prior to coming by and show up when they say they will be here, weather permitting. If they need to cancel because of the weather they have never neglected to reschedule in a timely fashion. We had previously been using another company and had issues with their treatments (bare spots, not showing up when they were supposed to and so on). We began using Perf-a-Lawn and utilize all of their services and after having them aerate and overseed our lawn its looking great again. Additionally, their line of Bee Safe products is very important as it helps to eradicate weeds, improve the lawn while causing no harm to the bee population which, as many are aware is in decline. As I mentioned weve been very pleased with Perf-a-Lawn, will continue to use them and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to others.

I wish I could put 0 stars, because this company is terrible, the service is below sub par, the customer service is awful, and the people there are spineless cowards. I have used these guys for a while, and I noticed on a per year basis my yard was getting worse (I used to do everything myself, but its hard to find time with kids) but at least manageable. And then the last two years there was a drastic dip, bare spots everywhere, especially my back yard, and then increasing amounts of moss to boot. Currently, my back yard is pretty much ruined, due to their lack of service, they didnt want to help me at all, didnt want to fix it, yet I didnt cancel... but I asked for a refund and/or for them to cover paying another lawn service to re-sod or fix my backyard to its former glory. They sent me a canned response via email, and gave me the run-around on the phone, but the kicker... I was waiting for my 1st service call this year, and apparently, they canceled ME, without telling me! I called and talked to some sales guy and he said due to your past transgressions they decided not to keep me on as a client. I was livid to say the least. And now I had to scramble to find a new service quickly because it was already late spring. I submitted a complaint to the BBB, and they didnt help at all, hence me leaving this review. Hopefully someone reads this and doesnt make the same mistake I did. Go with a quality service, Im using TruGreen now, and they actually were more expensive, but I told them my story and they actually gave me a price lower than what I was paying with Perf-a-lawn. Thats how business is done.

Top quality service! My yard had a few bad spots and grubs have moved in. After one application, I could tell the difference. After a years worth of treatments, my yard looks great. Perfalawn showed up today and treated my lawn without my authorization. I canceled the service at the end of last season due poor quality. Since I treated my lawn myself a few days ago, I hope that Perfalawn didnt ruin it. STAY AWAY!

I called and made an appointment for fall/ winter lawn care treatments. They called a total of three times and cancelled saying they werent going to be able to make it and they would have to reschedule. I completely understand having to reschedule once but having to reschedule three times is excessive! This is bad business practice. When I called to completely cancel the operator did not apologize and made absolutely no attempt to rectify the situation.

Our experience is beyond excellent. They are the nicest people to work with. Our neighbors all use this service, so when we bought our house we chose to use them too. We noticed that our grass was brown in spots and the houses around us were all green. We knew it wasnt lack of water. We made a call, and the person that we talked to on the phone could not have been nicer. She said someone would be by with in a few days to take a look at the lawn and see what was needed. Someone arrived the SAME DAY... We needed a nutrient and they were going to apply it at no charge. You wont find better service. They appreciate your business... it shows!
