A & N Lawn Service can make your yard and outdoor property look great. Since 1996, we’ve offered landscaping, lawn, and hardscaping services to Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Butler County, and surrounding communities.
They did an amazing job! They were quick to respond, got us scheduled, walked us through our options, and got us scheduled quickly. Price overall was great. Once they started doing the actual work, the guys on site were great and super friendly!
We had them extend our driveway and build a retaining wall. Everything looks great!
My back yard was literally a jungle, untouched for about 2½ years, prior owner is elderly and just couldn't keep up. A&N came when they said they would, hacked through the mess, saved the real bushes and plants, mulched and tidied up, didn't waste time and very professional. The price was right and I now have very usable yard. I don't have before pictures ( imagine a forest) but the after pictures speak for themselves
A&N Lawn performed this work about 1 month ago. I had a lot of water drainage issues with downspouts and surface water on my driveway. A&N Lawn provided expert service and recommendations to resolve all of them. They had all the skills and equipment and manpower to get the job done and they did it right. They leveled everything out perfectly and it's better than expected. The pictures might not do their work justice. They installed this catch basin and underground downspouts quickly and expertly. They even put up with all of my questions and concerns. They've earned my trust and I don't give that out to just anyone. I'm looking forward to hiring them for more jobs in the future. They are the landscapers I would recommend to any and everyone.
Not a bad job, but not a good one either. I had leveled my yard and wanted to seed a new lawn. Initially , i was onboard with the plan for adding soil on top of the existing crabgrass, and for 75% of the yard, it's beautiful. A&N brought in a bunch of unscreened soil and seeded the lawn on top of it fertilizing it and leaving it in decent shape, however, there's many places just after springs thaw that the seed never took well, it's the same hard ground as it was from the leveling exercise the year before. As they were running out of allocated time on my project the work got sloppier. The Issue with wanting to sell me so much dirt is they squandered their time in getting the dirt in place and spread evenly across the the entire yard and either under estimated the time it would take to spread it due to it's consistency or didn't have the proper resources to do the job properly in managing their own time constraints and didn't do a good job across the whole yard, focusing instead on selling me dirt i didn't need to inflate the cost of my project. You can see in the below pictures the closer they got to the street the more spotty the result was. In the end when I tried to express this frustration the manager told me "well it was a lot of dirt, I couldn't lose money on my guys time, let's see how it grows." The workmanship, value, and accountability did not meet my expectation for a sizeable job I had brought them in for.
A&N completed a stair, sidewalk and porch paver project on my property. They were great to work with from the design through completion. The crew communicated at a high level and kept the property clean each day. They completed the project on schedule and as quoted. The work was incredible, high quality all around.
I spoke with Phil the owner last oct to redo grass for new home and also landscaping. I gave him specific plants and color that I wanted. The job was 4200 dollars. I paid him upfront. BIG MISTAKE! They came out with 2 mulch trucks. They did the front of the house and half the side. Leaving half the grass the builder put in. Different colors . I got 5 plants I ordered, 1 peony is missing, 1 tree I didn't get at all, and the other was the wrong type. I did not know this at planting because they were not in bloom. The guys did not have plan and asked me were i wanted things planted. When I asked them about a specific plant they told me they just purchased what was available at the times by then everything was scruffy little plants and Phil says it was my fault for doing it so late. I did need to get it done due to a rebate from the builder. But he could have just put in the plants I actually ordered candid the others later. Of course I never saw the guy again. I have been e mailing and sending photos since nov. Phil said I will come out in april and take care of it. Well he has done nothing but be rude arguing with me and saying he will sue me for defamation. I told him it will be a tough case as I have all the e mails and photos. He told me he does not guarantee grass. Something he never mentioned when taking my money. So the 3500 dollars worth of grass that didn't grow doesn't count in his eyes. The 2 nice topiaries I did get are dying. Most nurseries have a year guarantee. Not him. Here is a photo, yes you have to blow it up the plants are so small. This is 4200.00 dollars worth of work. I have the saddest landscaping in the neighborhood.
Loved everything about them from the prices to the workers to the management. They worked with us when the job ended up being bigger than we thought... they were clear on our options and they were fast in resolving any issues. They truly care about doing amazing work at an affordable rate. Also care about doing the job right the first time they aren’t going to build you something that they know won’t hold up or that you win’t like later. I would and have recommended them to multiple people looking to do landscaping
Dud a fantastic job. Looked better than I ever expected.
Spoke with the receptionist and asked to receive a quote for getting gravel for the driveway. She put in touch with Amy. Who also took my information and said that I would receive an email with the quote of the cost. That was on Monday April 18th. I called back on Thursday , April 21st and spoke to a man. Told him no one has yet to give me information. He saw that I called on Monday and said he would find out what was going on and someone would get back to me with a quote. Never heard from anyone and its now May 2nd. Very poor service
Fantastic team built a fantastic patio!
Exceeded my expectations for our front walkway brick installation. Workers were on time and did a beautiful job.
Very un professional, not friendly takes your money does not do a good job Would not recommend them to anyone Negative
Good people friendly and knowledgeable
Very nice to deal with, very professional.
Good ppl respectful
I just had the A&N staff do some water control landscaping for me. From discussing options to seeing the finished product, I was very pleased with their knowledge and professional attitude. I have worked with this company since its beginnings as a lawn service and can honestly tell you that they are NOT just a lawn care company anymore. They do still do lawn care, but they are much more. Do not hesitate to have them do any of your yard and landscaping needs. Theyre great people!
Very poor, there prices are cheap just like the quality of there work. I had a wall built and six months later it fell over and he is telling me its not his fault and he will not work with me at all. I would not recommend using this landscaping company. I tried using steelcity landscaping and was very happy, sometimes its worth it to pay more for quality work.
