The crew of 6 came in to take down a 50+ year old Maple Tree. Quick, efficient and clean. If it was not for the stump in the ground, you would have never know they were here. We hired Diaz Tree Company to prune our ornamental trees as well as to take down a few dead trees and grind a stump. We are very pleased with their work. Mr Diaz and Eric (foreman) both have a great depth of technical knowledge and a deep passion for trees. They both took the time to walk our property with us and explain the status and needs of each tree. They are both patient, good listeners and friendly and easy to talk to. Eric and his crew are trustworthy, polite and punctual. They did a great job of cleaning up after the work was done. My trees look great which is why we highly recommend Diaz Tree company.

We are extremely satisfied with Diaz Landscape Design & Tree Service for their very professional crew. They came to our property only to trim some trees and remove 8 useless trees plus removing some thick brush. Well not only did Diazs crew complete this task, they went further above and beyond by cutting/removing dead branches which were very high up on trees and not in the job description with no extra charge. Plus they did a heck of a job in cleaning up the dead and falling branches (crumbs if you will) The crew of Diaz LD&TS in our opinion are very hard working very meticulous, and work together like a well oiled machine thats also including the hands in there working field supervisor Eric. Met 4 different contractors to remove a few trees in our house shortly after we had big branches fell on the top of our 2 cars. We decided to move forward with Diaz Tree services 1. Price was good, they are not the cheapest but very reasonable with the amount of work they undertake; 2. The proces and details they explained made the most sense; 3 Customer service was a little nightmare but the owner was fantastic in following up with all my questions. Glad I made the right decision!! They came on time, did everything agreed and more, they would call and see if I would like to check in their work in progress as I was working from home that day, making sure we were happy with the job, cleaned up very nicely, including putting the wood chips and mulches in the stumps, the removed areas were not noticeable at all and my yards looked great and zero damage in the process (I expected some plants might be ruined but none were) Overall 10 out of 10 - highly recommend!

Had a tree that was dead and was looking for a reputable company. I received many recommendations for Diaz so I decided to give them a call. The same day Yamil came to give me an estimate and was scheduled within 2 days. I must say they did a fantastic job. Diaz tree Service took care of taking down a big tree in the middle of our new front lawn that unfortunately died and became unsafe, so it had to go. They took extra care not to damage any of the lawn surface and cleaned up all debris. They did a great job and we will use them again.

The team removed 8 big trees in total, 5 of them were within 2-3 feet of side of the house, one on the front lawn, and two in the backyard. Diazs crew did a fantastic job removing a huge oak tree from our back yard. The crew came on time in the morning and worked very hard until dark to complete the job. I just wanted to drop a line about Diaz Landscape Design & tree service, yesterday 2/10/21 they removed my Twin Oak from the front of my house, I can t say enough about the professionalism and care they exhibited when cutting down the branches avoiding the lines that ran across my driveway not to mention this tree was towering over my house, the equipment they had was also very impressive they started at 8:00 am and by 5 pm there was no evidence that I had such a large tree in the front on my house, I highly recommend these guys for any tree service needs anyone may have. I will be using them again soon for some addition pruning work on the other trees around my house.

I highly recommend Diaz LD&TS. Just had them out to prune 4 large trees on my property & everything went smoothly from their early arrival to the final cleanup. Dennis & his crew did a great job. Im a lifelong plant geek who has 2 horticulture degrees & has worked in the Green Industry , so I can be very particular about my landscape. I interviewed 6 local tree services and not only did Mr. Diaz quote me the lowest price, but he really knows his plants. Im not surprised they have been around for 30 years. The main office was always available to answer my questions.

We needed a very old, large oak tree taken down. It was situated in a very tight spot between 2 houses. Diaz and crew assessed the situation and came up with a feasible plan to safely get the tree down. They were all professional and extremely knowledgeable and capable. I met with who I believe to be the owner and he was professional, punctual and honest. The price was more than fair! They ran into an issue with a town ordinance and worked through that as well with the permit process. Above and beyond is all I can say. The end result was they removed the tree, and there wasnt an ounce of debris left behind. Very professional and I HIGHLY recommend them! I used several tree companies in the past but this company is by far the best.

My tree fell on Sunday, I called Diaz on Monday morning and he was at my house in 10 minutes. He provided a fair price and his crew arrived early Tuesday. The team works very efficiently and they were very respectful of my property, careful not to cause any damage to my or my neighbors house. They came out to give me a quote. They were the cheapest and nicest. I wouldve used them except another service showed up 3 days after they were supposed to and Diaz wasnt able to cut the tree down sooner. Based on my initial interaction with them, I would recommend them.

I enjoyed working with Diaz Landscape from the very beginning. From the initial phone call they were very professional. Originally, we were only doing one tree, but we needed to have 2 trees cut down, removed and 1 tree trimmed. Once Mr. Diaz gave us the estimate we decided to do it all at once because it was so affordable. When I called to book the job the young lady in the office, I cannot remember her name but she was extremely helpful and very nice, checked with the insurance company to get their proper paper work and would not book the job until everything was in order. The removal was set for 8am and was a 1 day job to remove 2 trees, grind both stumps and trim another tree that was hanging over he roof. They were on time and finished the job in 1 day as they said they would. They were very careful getting machines in place and put down material so the lawn would not be affected that much. The clean was very good as well. However, they were not able to completely remove one of the stumps because it is budded against a fence, neighbors fence. So, when I called to pay the invoice I informed the young lady and she refused to take the payment until Mr. Diaz could come and look at the job. When Mr. Diaz looked at the stump he informed me that they could not grind the remaining part of the stump because of the fence, but if the fence was ever removed then he would come out and finish grinding the stump at no charge. I had a wonderful experience dealing with Diaz Landscape & tree service and am definitely going to use them again. I highly recommend them for anyone who needs a tree cut, removed and stump ground. I have used Diaz tree service 3 times over the past 3 years. Unfortunately, the ash borer beetle has decimated all of my ash and many of my oak trees on my property. Many of these trees were close to the property lines and I was extremely concerned about getting the trees down safely without impacting my neighbors properties. Time after time, they brought down the trees in a safe manner with no problems. The pricing was fabulous. It is so hard to find quality service these days with anybody, however my experience with the Diaz tree service has been nothing short of excellent.

Diaz tree service gave us the best quote, was able to come within a week, and removed several large, hard to reach trees from our property in one day. They did a great job safe guarding all the structures and making sure nothing got damaged. They also were mindful to clean up after the job was done and grind the stumps down so well that you couldn t tell there used to be a tree there. They even trimmed some dead branches off other trees for us and for our neighbors, free of charge. We chose Diaz because of the great reviews that we saw online, on his website. We called his office and I spoke to Lilly who told me Jimmy would come the next day to give us an estimate. He arrived promptly and was able to give us an estimate on the spot. It was a big job and his estimate was very reasonable. We set a date, but the weather did not cooperate. I called Lilly and she explained they did not want to do damage to the lawn so we needed to wait a day. She was so helpful and called me to let me know the men would be there soon and they were! Every person who works for Diaz is professional and courteous. They did all the work with the proper equipment and left our lawn in better shape then when they arrived. Everything was taken away. They spent from 8am until 5:30 pm. I cant say enough good things about this business. I will use them for any future projects and highly recommend them.

The prices

Very disappointed with their service. Mr. Diaz provided an estimate and pitched that his company has superior equipment and his bucket truck could handle taking down the large tree next to my house. Several days later his crew showed up, looked at the tree and said the bucket truck that they brought could not handle the job and instead they would have to drop the large tree which would have landed onto my neighbors property! I refused this approach and asked they return with the proper equipment as was originally agreed upon. Instead they sent me an email stating they were no longer interested in the job. I consider this very unprofessional as we have a signed, legal contract. Mr. Diaz, you should be a man of your word, honor a signed contract and get the job done!

I been using Diaz Tree service for close to 15 years now. They have removed several large trees for me over the years and today trimmed some trees back for me. Mr. Diaz is an upstanding guy who takes pride in his work. Me being the type that always gets at least 3 estimates , Diaz is always by far the cheapest. He will do good for you. Over priced

We had Mr. Diaz and his team both remove some large trees In our yard and also do some landscape work. Very happy with both projects. Each team did great skilled work-would highly recommend.

I HIGHLY recommend Diazs tree service. Mr. Diaz came to the house initially and gave us a very reasonable estimate. He was happy to answer all our questions we had about the trees/roots/etc. Once we booked with them, they sent us their Certificates of Insurance to make sure they/we were covered in case of any incidents. A few weeks later on, on the scheduled date, Diazs team showed up and removed all the trees and debris (5 trees removed 1 pruning) and were very professional and helpful with all questions we had. While removing one tree close to the house, they did pinch a down spout, but when I brought it to the companies attention the next day, they said they would replace it. A few days after the tree removal, another team of 3 came to replace the down spout and to grind the stumps. They also did a GREAT job. They cleaned up all debris and it was at this point after the entire job was done that they collected payment, which I was happy to supply. I have already recommended Diaz to a few coworkers/neighbors and will continue to. Thank you!

The cost of removal of a 70 year old oak and several large branches on a London Plane, was very reasonable and easily beat all other estimates.They arrived on time completed the job in two days and ensured each day that my property, neighboring property and the road were all cleaned before they left. There is a tree that is leaning in our backyard up against a stronger tree. we requested Mr. Diaz to take a look and see whether the tree needs to come down or prune back. I originally tried Angies and Home Advisor to find a tree service. After waiting 3 weeks and getting no response I saw a truck with Diaz Tree Services phone number. I called and within a week Mr. Diaz came out himself and gave me an estimate. The crew that came were great, professional and friendly. Let me take all the pictures I wanted. They had to take the fence down between us and our neighbor. Took it down and put it back up with no issues at all. Took the tree down and cleaned up afterwards. A couple of days later 2 guys came to grind the stump. They were also professional and very friendly. Cleaned up afterwards also. If you are looking for a professional, friendly, great tree Service, Diaz is the one to use. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family.

Diaz tree service is the best of the best. Yamil, the big boss is wonderful. I had first used Diaz tree service 7 years ago, when we first bought our first home, he was the first big home related service we had to pay for. At the time we didnt realize how reasonably priced they were. We had 20 trees cut down and thanks to Yamils eagle eyes he noticed a giant crack caused by lightening in a ginormous tulip tree right by my house. Fast forward 7 years I had a giant oak tree that died and needed to be removed. Naturally I thought of Diaz Tree Service, but I had a hard time getting a hold of them. Pro tip: I looked them up on Facebook to message them and someone responded pretty quickly. Yamil came down to me a few days later to give me an estimate. (By the way the man has not aged a bit!) Yamil again, with his eagle eyes spotted another tree that was on its way out. Before I had gotten Yamil down to do his estimate, I had 8 other tree guys in my area to give me estimates not only were they very expensive, they didnt even spot my dead tree! Yamil is an actual educated arborist with a degree from Cook College at Rutgers, if you want to learn about trees, this is the guy you talk to. The man knows anything and everything about trees. We are beyond impressed by Yamil the big boss himself but his crew is so wonderful as well. I highly, highly recommend Diaz Tree Service, which is why I even bothered to go online to write a review for him. If you need tree work, get a few estimates but in the end you will find that Diaz Tree Service is the way to go! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We used Diaz to remove several trees including one large tree. The crew arrived on schedule and did a phenomenal job. Extremely professional and organized, and left the area spotless. We were so impressed, we hired them to do our patio and it was the best decision we made - better than we could have ever expected. Unreliable poor service. Check Yelp reviews also.. I was fooled by Googles good reviews. An hour and 45 minutes late for an appointment is not just traffic. On top of being so late, no one called to let me know they d be late.. I called twice to see where Mr. Diaz was and got false updates both times. I shouldn t have had to call at all, I should have received a call with an apology and an actual estimated time of arrival. I understand that everyone is human, we all make mistakes, but usually consideration is a human trait.

Weve used Diaz for tree removal and replacement. The pricing we received was competitive, the woman who takes the calls is delightful, and when one of the new trees didnt make it, they replaced it at no additional cost.

You will have to be patient with the office staff and possibly call several times before getting a response, but it will be worth your effort. The owner, Jimmy, is such a nice guy and the crew he sent to take down our monster cherry tree was beyond professional, courteous, efficient, and thoughtful. They left no stone unturned and left everything as it was before they arrived. We wouldve never known they were here with the exception of the missing tree. The price ws definitely right as well. Jimmy is not trying to rob people for services & he has tree insurance, which is of the upmost importance. Great guy & company to do business with.

But Max, and his expertise, saw that that was not necessary, which I very much appreciated. His crew worked quickly and his pricing was very fair.

However, his crew did not show up for service; no call to inform us of status and office closes on Sat. and Sun. and cant get in touch with them even if I want to. Ive had Diaz tree service now do a couple projects on my house mostly all tree and brush clean up. The most important thing that. Shows in his workmanship is cleanliness hes on time and he gets the job done completely to the point where theres no mess left over from chippings or anything. You just took down my sweet gum tree which is been a pain in my ass for the last three years while living in this house next up is the Big Maple in the front, the fall and Ill be calling this a Diaz again

Diaz Landscape Design and Tree Service does amazing work. Mr. Diaz is very personable and professional. He is an arborist and not just a tree guy. They have all the appropriate equipment to complete the work without risk to people/property. We had him do work twice on our property. The work was done quickly but was very clean and no damaged occurred to our property or neighbors considering how close the trees were. He charges very fair prices and accommodates requests (leaving the tree cut to specific lengths, ect). His crew went the extra mile and even cleaned up debris from previous storms. Diaz Tree Service removed several trees following a property survey that determined an accurate boarder and ownership. Jimmy (the owner) is quite knowledgeable and provided excellent communication from original quote to job completion. Crew was hard-working, efficient and courteous. All work was completed in a timely manner with debris removed and the site thoroughly cleaned; a professional, quality service at a competitive price. As a kicker they returned for a very thorough remediation to repair some lawn damage, at our convenience and after some other work on the property. Mr. Diaz did a fantastic job with all of our trees. We had 7 trees removed and grinded stumps. Its an excellent team with their state of the art equipment. They left everything clean as well as filled all holes created during the removal process. They were also the most reasonable on pricing. I would recommend them to everyone.

I just want to say that I got three estimates and talked to three different companies about getting nine trees taken down on the edge of my property. Six of these trees were actually on the neighbors side of the fence. I was very concerned about the price and even more concerned about how it was going to work out with the trees and the neighbor being on the neighbors side of the fence. This gives you some idea of what the crew had to do in 90 degree weather. what a knowledgeable, pleasant crew they were. My property was cleaned up when they left and early the next morning all these logs were picked up. I had an appointment for an estimate...on time, I was given a date for the work...on time. I highly recommend them.

I had Diaz Landscaping come out and cut down three trees and grind the stumps. They were at the job on-time and made sure to clean up/haul away all of the wood (they even cleaned up some other over grown brush near the trees they were cutting). I received multiple estimates and Diaz Landscaping was by far the most reasonable with their pricing.
