Beyond the Leaf did a TERRIFIC job. I had several trees and bushes that needed to be removed or significantly pruned as they had taken over our backyard. The arborist came out to the site and provided a professional, itemized quote (with significant fall and first customer discounts) and the office staff handled the scheduling and generating appropriate insurance certificates efficiently and in advance of the date of work. The BTL crew, German, Jose, Benito, Jose M., and Johnny, did a great job -- they came when they said they would, efficiently did the work, cleaned up the area, and even moved the yard furniture back to its original location. I was particularly worried that the pruned shrubs would look terrible, but the guys did a great job trimming them to look nice. In short, the whole BTL operation seemed efficient and very professional. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

I highly recommend Beyond the Leaf for any type of tree and shrub work. Especially the difficult jobs. Two days ago they removed a very large Elm tree deep in my back yard. It was about 50 ft tall, with a 40 diameter trunk. They had to use a large crane in my driveway to do the job because the yard is fenced in and it was done expertly and quickly. They finished in 2 1/2 hours. My neighbors and I were very impressed with the quality and speed of their work!

Alan Milstein came to my house to examine the trees in my back yard. He is an ISA certified arborist, and it shows. He was able to identify problems that nobody else did. He explained exactly what was happening, and what was required to remedy the situation. He promptly provided a detailed written estimate with a very competitive price. Karen handled the scheduling, and managed communications very well leading up to the appointment. German and his crew showed up on time. They were respectful of the property, did exactly what I expected, and removed all of the debris. A tree service doesnt get any better than that.

We hired Beyond The Leaf Tree Experts to trim our favorite tree on our property. The trimming is perfect. The clean up is immaculate ,not one leaf was left on the lawn and the wood chips or wood dust left from the chipper. Now I know why I see their lawn signs all over Westfield.

Alan has been keeping an eye on my property s tree health for over 15 years now. He has never recommended unnecessary work and has a keen eye for potential issues. About two weeks ago, I noticed a declining tree in my front yard and called for a consultation. Sure enough the tree needed to be removed and Alan walked the property to check for any other issues. In our backyard, he noted what looked to me like a perfectly healthy tree as being in decline, pointed out a dangerous branch that needed to come down and showed me the signs of the disease taking hold. He estimated it would need to come down entirely in another 4-5 years. We decided to have it removed along with the other tree in decline. Work was scheduled for the following week. Then we had that severe thunderstorm a week ago and guess which tree lost its entire canopy? The tree that looked healthy but was actually in decline. It had all those leaves to catch the wind but was weak inside and broke right off. Alan is truly an expert and I appreciate it when pros offer services only when necessary. BTL-TSE! Great company, great crew. They have removed a huge 45 ft pine tree, and again several other large pines and with pruning my large Cherry Blossom. Called Beyond the Leaf to come and remove some large trees that I was worried about causing some damage if they were to fall. They responded and an appointment was set up with Alan to come and review. They even sent me Alans rather impressive resume. Alan couldnt have been more professional and knowledgeable. Rather than default to cutting down these beautiful trees he put together a plan to save the trees and prune them to be more safe. Most tree services in my area will automatically just remove the tree and charge you a fortune, Beyond the Leaf are true experts. When they came to perform the day long work, they were so careful to not damage my lawn and cleaned up better than I could imagine.
