tHello, Today we had the team of Caleb and Dion. These two guys ROCK! This is the best team we have had from AMS! Is there anyway to get them to be our standard service team? They were very thorough, diligent, attentive, very professional, effective and the bushes have never looked better! Caleb even took the extra time to really trim up one of the hedges that was getting too heavy and leaning. Last service tech had said he was going to stake it this service time, but of course he didnt come and Caleb didnt know. Nevertheless he trimmed it, not just buzzed it with the electric hedge trimmer, but by hand at the bottom to help with the heaviness, then he use one of our bricks to help stabilize it! It looks amazing! Really a great experience today! I hope to see these guys again!

AMS has excellent customer service. This year Jacob and Rene planted my winter lawn. They worked quickly and left no mess. When I was worried about my seed washing away they came back and put more down just to reassure me.

I am a disabled woman veteran, and I want to take a moment to thank the owner for the care and concern I receive from his workers. Where I live there s a small park directly across the street with several large trees that shed leaves all year. The leaves blow directly across into me and the neighbors driveway and front yard. We all have cactus no trees. The fallen leaves make it difficult to keep that area clean. I would blow the leaves twice a week, but the leaves are back the next day. For a while, now the landscapers have begun blowing the leaves off my area when they clean the park. The timing is so amazing because lately I have not been able to do much without being in pain. So for me, this is a huge blessing, and I ask God to bless them every time. I just want to say thank you and God bless you and your workers for the blessings you give. May God bless you and keep you

I initially had a positive experience with AMS Landscaping, but unfortunately, the quality of their service has deteriorated significantly over time. During the first season, their work was commendable. However, as time went on, their performance declined. Despite numerous requests for maintenance on areas they had allowed to become overgrown something I would expect a landscaping company to proactively manage I received a series of excuses, yet the issues remained unresolved. Last year, their mismanagement of the irrigation system led to the loss of several plants, including one tree, three shrubs, and two plants. While they replaced some of these, others were not addressed. After discussing the matter with the manager, I was assured that the crew had been spoken to and improvements would follow. Unfortunately, this year, the service failed to meet expectations once again. When I spoke to the manager about the ongoing issues, I received an apology, but no action was taken to correct the problems. Despite this, the company now seeks to increase their prices. I declined their service, but they continue to send unsolicited emails, even after I canceled and requested no further contact. In summary, AMS Landscaping starts strong but fails to maintain quality over time. Their lack of follow-through, poor communication, and focus on monetary gain rather than customer satisfaction make them a frustrating choice for landscaping services. I would caution potential customers to consider other options.

Google Review s character limits wouldn t let me fully paint the picture, so I will summarize: - Filled out online estimate form detailing need for service to diagnose irrigation issues with 4 of 5 valves suddenly not activating with recently replaced timer. Listed what repairs/troubleshooting I had done to that point - Quoted $95 Irrigation Audit bid to perform a walk-through inspection of each station within the irrigation system & make necessary repairs up to $95. If repairs are above $95, approval of cost will be obtained before work can be completed - Accepting online bid required CC info to be entered to schedule service, balked at entering CC info - Contacted AMS via telephone, advised CC required on file for service but won t be charged until job is complete. After provided CC info, verbally scheduled advising I want to be present so I can show serviceman what my issue was and what I ve done to this point. Given 7-11am time window and will call when in route - Woken up at 6:30am without phone call to advise in route. Appeared to be simply a 2-man lawn service crew pulling a trailer already half full of lawn clippings. The leader of the crew manually activated valves to confirm water flow and also confirmed timer would not activate 4 of 5 valves (I already knew all this and made it clear via online form). Was advised evaluating my issue was beyond his abilities and I would need a different serviceman to evaluate, and I would be contacted to schedule next level of serviceman. Very frustrating since I made it clear what I was experiencing & what I had done to troubleshoot/repair. The level of serviceman to properly evaluate my issue should have been known - Two days later, while at work, next level of serviceman shows up unannounced. I attempted to explain via phone my issue and what I ve done. Was advised he would evaluate and report back to his office who would contact me. Was not contacted back by him nor the office - Received an email stating the crew has completed the irrigation audit for your property and a copy of the report they have filled out is enclosed here. Let us know if you have any questions. The email summized the condition of my timer was good, they manually activated each station, and that Valves are bad need 4 new valves . So basically they are advising that 4 of 5 valves that won t turn on via my good, recently replaced timer, somehow all went bad at the same time? - After receiving email, expected to be contacted & provided repair cost estimate since it will most likely be above bid quote amount of $95. Was not contacted but in actuality charged $98.80 to my CC on file w/o being provided with an invoice for what I was charged for since no actual repairs were completed (was job done?) - So basically, they are stating that a service appt s baseline charge is $95 (or $98.80) but that was not ever mentioned on the initial bid. It appears to me they want to charge $95 to come inspect the problem, then come back (to charge more) on a separate day to fix the problem rather than one trip to inspect & make necessary repairs . Definitely seems fishy & it s very frustrating for the customer - I replied to the Irrigation Report email with my concerns about the results noted above & that I was charged for a service that was not what I was expecting, but did not get a reply - Received a VM next day from Brian stating that he received my email. Brian wanted to schedule a time for his serviceman to come back out when I m available to walk though the issue again to explain why they think all 4 valves need replacing, that maybe 1 or 2 are bad & the others are not as bad but replace all 4 to be up & running good. (But again, for all 4 to suddenly not be working at the same time means there s most likely another underlying issue being overlooked). Brian stated THEN they can give an estimate for repairs - This would entail a 3rd & likely 4th visit to fully repair my irrigation issue that I believe should have been pretty clear from the outset what was necessary for the job

AMS was very responsive to our inquiry. Caleb & Dion were on time, did a great job, with great cleanup and they were very professional.

The first time I used this company it was wonderful, which is why I initially gave them 5 stars and hired them again. I m not sure if they switched hands or what, but they suddenly became deceptive and dishonest, charging me for services they couldn t complete. I hired them to trim my palm trees and orange tree, as well as remove weeds on my property. They sent a quote, then updated the quote once they got there. Not once did someone say they couldn t complete the tree trimming due to their own equipment shortcomings. When I emailed about fixing it (the missed branches started to berry and drop everywhere), they sent someone out who only partially rectified it. I followed up again and was told by the operations manager, Brian, that the service I requested was never possible because they don t have the right equipment. He suggested I look elsewhere for palm tree trimming in the future. Tl;dr I wasted money on a service that never could have been provided, and no one at AMS told me that, despite an estimate, day-of contact, three follow-ups, warranty work, and unreturned phone calls.

Jacob, and Daryl did amazing work in our yard today. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and so conscientious. Five stars for cleanup. I hope to have these two young men every time I call AMS Landscaping.

I spoke with Debbie who is always friendly, pleasant and responsive and treats me like family when I call. I called b/c Caleb and Dion serviced my lawn and both did a fantastic/superior job on my yard. They were courteous, asked how I liked things done and then did exactly what I asked. It was about 11:30 pm when they arrived with a SMILE on a very hot day. Both Hard workers, thorough, detail oriented. I want both of them to return. They treated my lawn like it was their own! New review-May 2024 Elias and Jose were here to repair our irrigation system and to trim a couple of bushes so the foundation work we needed could be completed. They showed up as promised, did an outstanding job and cleaned up afterwards. They were professional and efficient. 5 stars This is an additional review, not an edit. Elias and Jimmy were here from AMS a couple of weeks ago (3/24). They did an excellent job trimming the numerous bushes in our yard. They also cleaned up all the debris. We have been happy with the work done by AMS and have used them several times. Kudos to the guys who came out here on Friday to do lawn work for us. They did an awesome job and we are very pleased with the care they gave our desert lawn. Please let them know how exceptional their work is. We would be happy to have them work here again whenever theres work to be done.

We ve been back and forth giving AMS several chances to redeem their blunders. One time it s them visiting when they were supposed to and another times it s dealing with argumentative landscapers telling us they aren t going to cut back our bushes fully. This company is poorly run with low quality results. I would highly recommend finding a different service and not going through the year of hassle we have. We truly tried to make it work but quality of service declined steadily over the year working with AMS.

I use AMS Landscaping every year for winter reseeding in October and aeration in March. Not only is the company great to work with but Debbie at the front office is awesome! Elias and Jimmy came today to complete the aeration and as usual did an outstanding job. Very courteous and professional!

So I didnt actually get any services done by these guys, however I did encounter one of the drivers while on my way home today and that makes me not want to hire them. He was driving very recklessly while on the freeway from Bell Rd to Peoria, he was speeding and doing illegal lane changes. Not only that, but he almost hit our car because he was in a hurry to get on the freeway.

I recommend AMS Landscaping for any and all landscaping needs! Caleb and Dion always leave our lawn looking AMAZING!

AMS Landscaping is excellent! I ve been using this company for several years to help with my yard maintenance and they deliver quality, timely work every time. I love that I can easily communicate with their office (Debbie and Brian) and they seamlessly interact with the landscapers to coordinate on anything I need. Today Jose and Christo completed my service and they did a great job! Jose was very patient with me after I had left my gate locked and he even suggested trimming back a large bush that had overgrown. If you need help with your yard, call AMS!

We needed some general yard clean up in the front and back, a tree trimmed in our front yard, about 5 oleander hedges trimmed, weeds pulled, and spray for weeds. Elias and Jose came out within 3 days of calling AMS. They came out on a Thursday and unfortunately the weather was bad so they had to come back. They returned the next day to finish and again, we are extremely happy with their work. They completed all the entire job within an hour and checked in with us before leaving to make sure everything was good. HIGHLY recommend using AMS landscaping. Tony and Jose came together to trim all of the bushes on our property as well as our Texas sage. We also had a saguaro that had to come down. They arrived early and promptly began to work. They were friendly and we were involved in helping where we could with requests and encouragement. They did a fine job. They were safe and cleared the yard when finished. The price was very fair. We have used them before and will continue to use them.

AMS is the only company I would recommend when it comes to landscaping. Ive always had positive experiences with them. I really like how I can follow them on social media too! Eli will post videos pretty regularly that have some good information (especially if youre like me and dont know a whole lot about taking care of your yard or what to do with it ) If youre thinking of asking AMS for help with whatever landscaping you need I highly recommend asking for Caleb and Dion! I have never had any problems with my yard when they care for it. They are such hard workers and from taking the time to hear what I need, giving suggestions, answering all of my questions and their actual attention to detail the service is AMAZING!

I m always a little skeptical about hiring new people for anything but am so glad I went with AMS. Caleb and Dion were awesome! They were respectful of me and my property and were able to finish everything I wanted done pretty quickly. Prices were competitive too so I highly recommend them for any landscaping needs.

Update: Tony was the best part about this business and unfortunately the rest is too much of a headache. Customer service wouldnt lower a quote even though I dont have half the items they were offering me on the quote. I cant afford to pay $295 just to get my weeds cut down & taken.

I must say one star rating is being generous. I used this company for yard clean up. They came out, no one talked to me about expectations. They just started hacking away trimmed bushes lopsided or just cut one branch. They snapped off some branches, not cut, on a tree then left dead branches. Then left without a word. NOT A YARD CLEAN UP. I did call and they sent a new team to fix it.... it just got worse. The one tree I specifically said DONT TOUCH.... you guessed it.... they hacked it. Its lopsided on one side and flat on the other. THEN the guy also shattered one side of my patio door. But they did fix that. It just went from worse to tragic. I dont believe the guys know how to do yard work other than using a mower and blower. Im very sad and disappointed as this fiasco cost me $300 and lots of tears Im 64 years old and could not do this work myself. It just seemed the workers did not care about the quality of their work. The manager or owner never followed up after this last disaster, so that should tell you alot about what they think of their clients. Wish I had never spent that money.

AMS did an amazing job on our yard. Some bushes needed to be uprooted because they were attracting wasps and my husband and I are severely allergic. AMS was super responsive and prompt to get out to resolve our issue! They had amazing customer service. They made our yard look gorgeous - we just bought this house and the previous owners didn t take care of the yard before we bought it and they did just a stunning job making the yard look beautiful. 100% recommend and will always be coming here for all our landscaping needs.

Tried to get a simple irrigation audit. Same day response / estimate per their website turned out to be a week after I called to follow up. The guy they sent out at the scheduled time left because no one was home and he didn t feel like working. He called me while he was at my front door (on ring camera ) and I gave him access to the yard remotely. However, he told his managers he had already left the property. Therefore, their employees aren t trustworthy and lie. On top of that, they charge an audit fee. It s a shame because we have a lot of projects and we have gone with other businesses. I would NOT recommend AMS, very unprofessional.

Please don t use this company. All their crew does is use their blower to push trash and debris everywhere without picking anything up. Most unprofessional landscaping I ve ever seen.

Evan and Cassandra always do a great job on the yard work at my place every two weeks! Today they did an amazing job on pruning down 4 years of excessive growth on the parameter trees and bish so I can see the mountains again! Hurrah! They also took care of the olive tree out front so it will be all set for the next monsoon season. It all adds up to a superior execution of the work and a happy client! Thanks!

Ive been using AMS for about a year, Cassandra and Evan are super friendly and are real efficient at keeping my front and back yards looking good. I have not seen a single weed in my yard since Ive started the service, and they are very reasonably priced.

We are new homeowners in Phoenix and have had the pleasure of meeting Jose and Cristo! Our front yard is already on its way to becoming ours. and we are very pleased with the changes they made to the front yard. As healthcare providers, we were also pleased to see Jose using respiratory and eye safety equipment while trimming our hedges.

They advertise FREE estimates, yet require payment information just to have someone provide the estimate. No other business Ive ever encountered has advertised a free estimate and required payment info. Very shady way to start a relationship with a customer.

Kim is hands down the RUDEST person to deal with. I understand that Covid has hit hard but they have been completely unresponsive then when we did finally get ahold of them she was rude, kept speaking over me, hung up on me, announced herself a gate keeper of what I have no idea, maybe really bad service? I have never been rude to any of the crew but they messed up our irrigation system our trees are dying due to their incompetence. And forget about getting proper service. Never return phone calls have never emailed except the very last time they were going to come out. There are SO many landscaping services to choose from in Phoenix take your money else where!!!

We called and they immediately got us a quote and on the schedule. We were time constricted and they got us in just in time! Landscapers just left, showed up on time, they did a great job cleaning up my disaster of a yard and we are looking forward to continue to work with them to make out property look it best. They successfully repaired an irrigation leak in my front yard as part of an irrigation audit ($95). They told us that 2 bladders needed to be replaced for an additional charge :( We were planning on having them complete the initial yard cleanup for which we were quoted $250.00 (which we thought was exorbitant to begin with). When the team showed up, they told us it would be $700. We were never told that the initial quote could be adjusted. Not happy.

We were so impressed with AMS services. We received an accurate quote prior to scheduling services which was really helpful. Everyone was very professional and the crew did such a nice job!

My yard was a hot mess. Tons of over grown weeds they took them down and made it beautiful.

My wife sent an email to ask for an estimate to get services. She got an email back from Debbie Coffee (yes that was the name of the rep) from AMS that basically said We cant help you. Try someone else. No reason was given as to why they couldnt come out. Terrible customer service and completely rude staff it seems.

Let me be clear. The service was great! The communication on the other hand was not. I run an airbnb company and had no idea they were coming so early in the morning. The guest staying at my house woke up around 6:50 am to leaf blowers and lawn equipment. We scheduled to have the service done that date but they never got back to me about what time they were coming. I called the company and they agreed to come later moving forward which is appreciated. It still doesn t fix the issue that my guest have from getting woke up early which could negatively affect my company ratings.

Very happy with the work! I couldnt be there but I provided a list of things needed and they hit them all.

Workers arrived timely. Worked continuously until done. Completed all the work that was requested of them. I was very pleased with the results and will contact AMS when I need more work done. I might add that the office person with whom I worked was very helpful and most pleasant to work with.

I had asked for the bushes to be trimmed and not hedged. They just went at the bushes with power tools and did not take the time to look at what they were cutting. There were four bushes in the back and they shaped them as if they were only two bushes. Had asked for bushes to be thinned out to help with the sagging and this was not done as the plants were hedged. The planter bed was not cleaned of old debris. Barely on site for 10-15 mins.

Dont try and get a quote for redoing your landscape. They are extremely un-responsive. They expect you to put a credit card on file and will not answer questions. Office staff is the worst :(

They had to reschedule the first time and its difficult to know what time they arrive on the date scheduled. But yard looks clean and nice. The weeds cleanup was not fully done.

They advertise same day quotes, took almost a week to get a clear price. The price was way too expensive. In that week I got a quote from 2 other landscapers and they were a fraction of what AMS came back with. Bi-weekly with the other landscapers were $70 and for the same service at AMS they quoted me $190 for Bi-Weekly service. Too EXPENSIVE!

These guys clean at this business next to my house and they are disrespectful. They have a habit of blowing all the trash on to our side all over our yard and cars. We try to ask them to relax with the blower and they are super disrespectful and defensive.

We have worked with AMS Landscaping and Jose P. for several months now. They have been great to work with in the Office with Debbie Coffee and the landscaping and yard maintenance with Jose P. Very attentive and Jose always asks if there are any issues or anything else that they can do while they are out servicing the property. They have been very reliable and terrific to work as they consistently do a great job maintaining our yard.

Very pleased with the work done! Needed a clean up job for the front and backyard to get my house ready to sell. They were fast and did a great job in making it look neat and tidy! I also like that every time Ive called the office number, the phone has been answered.

I had used AMS only once before and they did a good enough job for me to reach out to them when I was in need of their services again, but this time around they were lacking. I reached out earlier in the week by phone and never got anyone so I logged into my account and request for spring yard clean up, they did get back to me by email within 24hrs with a bid which I had then accepted. My yard work per their website said they would be out today (Friday) so in the morning time I once again tried calling a couple times to get a roundabout timeframe when to expect them again no answer. So I then emailed and got a response back from Melissa saying around 11:30am, it is now almost 3pm and still no crew. I have called numerous times not once have they answered their phone, I even sent out another email about 2hrs ago asking if they are still coming out today again, still now response. Their offices of course is closed now and they are closed for the weekend and I haven t the slightest clue whether they just bailed out on a job all together or what. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with their lack of follow through and their poor almost non-existent communication. I don t understand the point of listing a phone number for a business if you aren t going to ever answer the phone I have called 8 times today alone not including the times I called on Monday and not once has anyone ever answered the phone!

Our small condo complex hired AMS for lawn service. The service was not good. Trash and debris left throughout the complex. I sent the office pictures and asked if it was an over sight. The office did not apologize or take any action. The second service was worse. Leaves and debris were blown into the pool area and not removed. Again the office took no action. They clearly did not care if they had our business or not. Perhaps they do a good job with homes but I would definitely not hire for a complex or business

I recently bought a home from a Seller that used AMS Landscaping to repair a leaking irrigation line. I took photos of the leak before they repaired it (see attached). I closed on the home two weeks later. My landscaper came out and notified me that my irrigation box was leaking. I reached out to AMS Landscaping and notified them of the issue and they sent me an estimate for $720 to repair the irrigation line. I was completely caught off guard and asked didnt you guys just repair the irrigation line and now you want to charge me $720 to repair it again? They said there was no leak when they completed the repairs. The house has been vacant since they repaired it and no one has used the sprinklers until my landscaper tried using it and noticed the leak. AMS said they do not warranty their work and it would be $720 to repair. I told them I was very upset and not happy with their customer service. They couldnt have cared less and gave me two other companies I could use to get the irrigation line repaired. AMS landscaping has zero customer service so if youre looking to get some landscaping work done, ask yourself if the work isnt done to your satisfaction, are you ok with this company just blowing you off and not doing anything to make sure youre a satisfied customer? Save yourself the time, energy, and heartache and look elsewhere.

I needed a revamp on my front planter after an accident left it in disarray. The staff at AMS Landscaping are great, from Melissa in the front office to my onsite foreman Chris and his crew - all professional and very easy to work with. A great team!

AMS came out to rescue our messy yard, which had some seriously overgrown trees that were beyond my abilities to trim, along with some nearly equally overgrown plants and a collection of leaves. Between the front and back yards, they spent a good 2 hours or so and left us with a beautiful, tidy yard. There was some confusion with some (what I later learned were automated) emails regarding the terms of the service, but they were quickly sorted. Looking forward to seeing AMS keep our yard clean on a monthly basis from now on.

I have used a different lawn service for years, but during the summer months, and now because of COVID, they are NEVER available when I need them. AMS responded to my request immediately, they set up a clean up for the next day, and they even cleaned up a mess I made from trying my hand at gardening. I would have liked a bit shorter cut to my bushes (hence, the four stars, rather than five), but otherwise stellar work on the yards. Their billing takes a bit of front-load work on your end, but it made paying so easy. I will definitely use them again.

The guys were there first thing in the morning and made quick work of our overgrown gravel yard! The only reason for losing a star is that just a month later the weeds are coming back, and weve realized areas were trimmed down but roots were left (not many, but its hot work out this time of year that weve got to maintain). The guys doing the work were nice and professional!

Chris and his team came into a mess. My yard/garden was very overgrown and needed some serious help. They were perfect for my situation - I like it to look a little overgrown, but neat. They asked how I wanted things done before trimming, hand-clipped where appropriate, cleaned up a years worth of leaves in a hidden garden area and more. They were also very pleasant. My yard/garden looks great. This was my first experience and I look forward to working with AMS in the future.

I called about hiring them to get some work done in my backyard. I gave them my email so they can send me information to set up a time and date for the initial consultation. After three days and no email, I decided to call them back to tell them that I hadnt received anything. They said they wrote my email information wrong and will be sending me an email within 15 min. Another two days goes by and nothing.... I called them AGAIN to get the problem resolved but they never answered. I called them TWELVE TIMES within two days (all during the 7am-3pm time they say they are open), and no response. After A few calls though, they did realize who was calling and did send me an email with a time and date that works for them, and not for me. But still, they will not answer their phone. How extremely unprofessional. Here I was hoping to spend a few thousand dollars to fix my backyard, but I guess I am glad this issue happened before I paid a dime. What a joke of a company.

Potential new customers beware of getting scheduled, and then rescheduled, and then rescheduled. Initially the customer service was great, I received fast responses, and fast estimates and scheduling for a yard cleanup. Then I received two automated rescheduling emails, one moving my service up a day, for which no one showed up that day. Then, at 4pm the day before my original service date, I received another automated email that my service had been pushed out two weeks. I did not receive a call or any explanation as to why, and when I emailed to cancel was just told ok thanks -- no effort to work with me or explain what had happened. I have an event with people coming to the house this weekend, and now the yard will not be cleaned up in time for it because this company wasted over a week of my time and waited until the literal last minute to cancel when I could have been getting another company out here to do the work. Very unprofessional, so if you are needing or expecting work to be completed on time I would recommend looking elsewhere.

When they say its too good to be true, I should have listened. Needed a quote to clear out a vacant home lot full of weeds. Reach out to get a quote which they were prompt in saying we can do that and that they asked for a location address as well as pictures. I gave them the address, pictures (after the big rain storm a few weeks ago) as well as an aerial shot of the lot. They came back with a proposal that was the cheapest option. Said lets set it up for which I then gave them my billing information and set it up for a schedule. On the scheduled day, I checked the vacant house at 230pm and nothing was done! So I give them a call for status which it went to vm (sidenote, in their vm prompt they say for quicker response email them which means they probably never answer the phone). They emailed me back saying they tried numerous times to get a hold of me by phone but no response. On top of that they came back and said we can do it but the price is now almost double! Responded back and said what phone number did you have on file. They then said we are super busy and that we never had your phone number on file! So basically you lied originally about saying you tried to contact me and on top of that you want double your money once you got there. I would not expect this bait/switch considering I gave you recent pictures as well as an aerial shot of the lot to give you the size/scope. I know they have been busy lately so the speed of the service has not been the issue but basically saying you tried to reach out on day of service by phone (never did) as well as doubling my quote even though I gave you PLENTY of info up front..... Never again.

I like the ability to auto pay for my services so i do not have to worry about remembering. Mirna Martinez the admin is very nice and quick to respond to inquiries. The guys that come are thorough and attentive.

well they first told me they would service my mothers home on Sep 22, then no one showed. Then they called and said she somehow got dropped from the schedule and would be there two days later. They did show up and then called me saying it was a total clean up (which is what I hired them to do). They then proceeded to only weedeat the weeds in the rocks, leaving debris and waste in the yard and cut back bushes that did not need trimming, while ignoring trees that did. Inexcusable service.

Absolutely the WORST service. They never complete the service (leave weeds, skip trees, etc), blow rocks and debris into our neighbors yard, have broken 2 sprinklers and a light, left massive holes in the yard after a sprinkler install have charged us extra for services we did not ask for/consent to and in one case told them not to perform. They are more than happy to try to sell me pre-emergent though. Do not trust them with credit card information - they will abuse it. Do not trust them with your yard, customer satisfaction means nothing to them. Update: 1 week after cancelling service and Eli s apology, I have been charged again! After no service and cancelling service. Disputing the charge with my bank now good thing I have all my emails saved.

Representative ( Jason) showed up in time specified in a black mustang, but stated that they DO NOT remove grass and weeds from yard and that he would advise Tony (unknown) of this.

I had high hopes reaching out to AMS. Eli does a great job making it appear to be a simple company to work with. Just send pics and you will have an estimate. Well I did that and waited and waited. I then had to reach out again just to get a response. I was finally quoted a much higher price than I anticipated. I refused the monthly maintenance and asked to go ahead with the winter seed. I was then sent info for payment that was needed so that I could be billed in advance. I sent in the info needed as was given an date for the winter seed to be taken care of. 4 days before they were to start I was sent a price that was higher that my original quote. When I reminded them I had already received a quote, I was told they had issues with there system and the new price was firm. When I questioned them not honoring the original price I was offered $100.00 off. All of this communication was over the course of weeks. Easily 10 text messages. 10 emails and multiple phone calls just to schedule winter grass. This review is consistent with multiple reviews. Lack of communication. No follow through and not a company of integrity from my experience.

The bottom line, I would hire them again. We hired AMS for yard clean-up and removal of several plants (not trees) for this job. They did good work and left the place spic and span. The crew was surprisingly quiet for a landscape crew as well! We had a problem with our propertys online information & pictures I submitted that ended up not translating to what the job actually cost (pandemic side effect), which was frustrating as a homeowner but resolved well and expeditiously. For me, how a company solves problems speaks to its overall quality.

They do fast, beautiful work. The yard is the best it has been in years.

This is a horrible company to do business with. They burnt a hole in my exterior shade in the back yard. They replaced it with an inferior shade that doesnt tie down in the wind and it keeps blowing on top of my roof. They said they fixed my irrigation system and it stopped in 3 days. Now I dont have an irrigation system and my fruit trees are dying. It took over two months to get my money credited back on my credit card. Dont give them your credit card number! Awful, awful service.

UPDATE: Thanks for making it right, AMS! We appreciate your follow-through! Were sorry to say we were very unhappy with our experience. We asked for a one-time cleanup and communicated our specific needs with photos of our property. We got a generic clean-up quote, and when I asked about our specific requests, I got an updated quote. Thinking our needs had been communicated, we booked the clean-up. Not only were our requests not met, but the general tasks on the quote from AMS were not met, either! Tree trimming? Weeds? Nope, didnt happen. Clean up debris? Nope, dead leaves and freshly cut branches all around the bushes they trimmed. We could see that they mowed and they trimmed our bushes a bit (which was not what we requested, we wanted them cut way back for the winter). But that was it! On top of everything, our visit summary and invoice were completely blank with no tasks listed at all! This seems to be a good company for easy, ongoing, routine maintenance, but NOT for yard cleanups.

Crew was on time and did an excellent job - great attention to detail.

Called needing new law service and got an estimate and scheduled very quickly. Techs on site were very friendly and super efficient. They let me know what work was done, asked what I wanted done as well as assessed my property for leaks an issues. Satisfied so far!

After purchasing my home I was looking for lawn care service to maintain my yards. After finding AMS I was impressed with there responsiveness and lines of communication. I always use email to communicate with the company and Melissa always responds and takes care of any admin questions I have. I appreciate the recommendations they give for my lawn but they never pressure me and always just let me choose what services I want. This company is always punctual and even paying was simple. If I don t have services for a while due to the season changes, anytime I email them they pick up right where I left off with my services. They leave this whole process stress free for me! After heart surgery I could not do any yard work. I called AMS Landscaping and set up an appointment and they came out and did a great job. The gentlemen that came out were nice and hard working. I would recommend AMS to everyone.

Sales person is very knowledgeable and professional. If only he had an experienced staff to support him. I used them for 6 months, and watched my landscape go from detailed, to a point I had to let them go. Seems like after every bad comment. There are 5-6 good reviews. Read those bad reviews, and the come up with your own opinion.

I have never had a more positive experience then I did with AMS landscaping. They gave me a very reasonable bid, and after I requested a few added areas also be landscaped, they did those areas without an extra charge. As soon as I accepted their bid they showed up to my home an hour later. I wasnt expecting them to come so quickly and I was pleasantly surprised! Their work is top of the line! I will use their services from now on. I highly recommend!

Great communication, and they did a fantastic job moving our sprinkler system in a little, getting a curb poured, and then thatching and seeding our grass! Chris came out and gave us a quote, and had an emailed quote to us the same day with a breakdown of charges. We were able to pick and choose what we wanted done. Then we got an email from Melissa asking when we would like to get started. The team arrived promptly on the day scheduled! Then on the last day of the project, I had to reschedule, and they were very accommodating! We will use them again!

My husband and I have beeen attempting to get a hold of this company for a free estimate for a week now. We called last Thursday and gave our information to the receptionist. She said we would have a quote emailed to us within an hour. After a couple hours and no email we called back and the receptionist said their office was closed for the day and she should have let us know that when we first called. She said we should receive a quote the next day, which never happened. On Friday, we called the office once again but could not get a hold of anyone. We called Monday and still could not get a free estimate, but was told the owner would contact us later that day. We never received a call from the owner and never received our free quote....so we will take our business elsewhere.

I was told by a few different companies that it wasnt worth planting new grass in my front yard. They all told me to buy saud grass. But Eli told me if I really wanted to grow grass in the summer, he could do it. And sure enough, After 6 weeks I have green grass. AMS landscaping did an amazing job and I deftly recommend them to anybody. You get what you pay for and Im glad I paid them to do a good job.

AMS Landscaping company came and cut my lawn and they did a marvelous job.

I had them come out to fix my lawn that had holes (dog dug) and asked them to fix those plus put new grass down. They quoted $400 to do that (its a small area). They came out and were on time and 2-3 weeks later no grass grew. I requested that they come back and they did at no charge which was great. Now its 2 months later and my lawn looks green but in reality its all crab grass and clovers. None of the grass seed they sprinkled grew... its literally all weeds. Now Im out $400 and still unhappy with my yard. Actively looking for a company that I can trust with my money. 2 stars for showing up on time and being responsive. Edit Sept, 25, 2020: Eli did honor their 100% money back guarantee and quickly refunded me for the service.

We have AMS service our business on a regular basis and they do a great job. We had a couple plants die off and I asked the landscape specialist to take a look at the valves to see if they had any damage. After looking at the system the specialist determined that the back flow was turned off. We found that this was due to a recent back flow test that was done. Thank you to the landscape specialist Rody and to AMS.

Not reliable. When I initially setup my consult the time window was sometime on Thursday. I asked them to narrow down to morning or afternoon but then the supervisor only gave me 10 minutes of forewarning when he was heading to my place. It takes me at least 30 minutes to get home from work so I said I wouldnt be there in time. When he asked to go to other appointments and come by later in the afternoon I said okay and drove home from work expecting to meet him. He never called back and he didnt answer when I called him. Thanks for wasting my time.

Melissa was a pleasure to set up the initial quote/estimate. They use an email service to confirm the appt. and Chris provided a very reasonable quote that I signed up about 5 min after he left. He had already emailed me the estimate by the time he was in his truck and leaving. They came for the initial clean up and to remove some plants I requested to be taken out and gave me a heads up on two irrigation drips that had a leak. The next day after that initial clean up and leak Chris again called right after that to let me know he will have his irrigation team out to check out the leaks for an estimate and next day had an email for that set up next week. I called AMS to stake some trees that I had just planted and were getting beat up in the wind. They came out right away and were extremely helpful even though I don t use them for regular maintenance. They will be the only company I go with when I get regular service!

My backyard was starting to look like a small jungle after leaving the weeds unattended for a little too long. AMS made my yard look amazing so I can lounge in the backyard without needing a machete. The online portal for billing and scheduling is extra convenient too!

The guy that came to my house to take measurements was rude and abrupt. In addition, it took a week to receive a bid for only placing 8 tons of rock in our backyard. The bid we received was for 15 tons at the cost of $150/ton! Not only are they overpriced, but it also confirms that the guy who came to the house wasnt listening to me.

Great Company!

Really disappointed with AMS. Have had them for the last ~2 years. Initial crew started off well and then started skipping areas in the yard, reported service that wasnt done, etc. I called the company, provided pics of the unserviced yard, and they said they would take care of it. A new crew showed up the following week. The new crew was great for a few months, then they started slacking off as well. One day I looked at our doorbell cam to see why there was debris all over the front yard after their service. It showed a guy standing in the middle of the grass and spinning around, in one place, blowing the grass and leaves everywhere. He didnt move from that spot. He, nor anyone else did anything else to clean it up. He simply stopped, and left. It was hilarious....except it left my yard a mess. I again called the company and they said they would take care of it. Yet another crew started up. These guys would come in and be gone in half the time as all the prior crews. They would leave our gates open. They left piles of trimmings in the yard, theyd leave weeds everywhere, and theyd use a riding lawn mower (no other crew had before) on our 100 sq foot of front yard grass. When I asked about all of this, including the request that they not spin circles in my tiny little grass area (it looks like someone spun doughnuts in my grass...and it lasts for several weeks) they told me that it would cost more to NOT use the riding mower...for the extra time it takes, despite this crew being there half as long as their prior crews for the last 18 months. Additionally, part of the weekly package we pay for has weekly weeding. We have had them for 2 years now. When I asked about them getting the weeds that started growing in our granite rocks during their oversight...they want to charge more (near $250!) for a weed clean up....because the weeds havent been cleaned up....by them....despite getting charged for it every week. These guys claim to be a sign up and forget about it service and that they do everything. We paid for their most inclusive package and paid for weekly service to keep things looking really nice. Unfortunately, despite trying to work with them for 2 years, they are not worth it. Terrible consistency, extremely transient employees, and no care for a quality job. If you want some hilarious video of a yard worker doing their best to not care, or you like your yard to look natural (ie. you let nature do its own thing), and you like to watch money burn....then AMS is your landscape company. If you have any expectations....at all...then look elsewhere.

The process to get an estimate was super convenient and I was able to schedule the work right away. The quality of the work done was top notch.
