This was the absolute worst experience ever! Jefferson is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever dealt with! After getting a quote, seeing our property, and getting a timeframe of 2-3 days for a retaining wall after paying a 50% deposit we agreed to work with him! The WORST DECISION EVER! We paid our deposit and he came by our property to start digging! After that day he never did any work! He was actually detained after a court hearing and some female called us begging us to still work with him and he would even give us a discount for our inconvenience. My husband and I are understanding people and things happen (or at least that’s the mindset we tried to go with). We figured if anything he could probably really use the money. He led us on for a week saying he would come by and never did! After 2.5 weeks now (initially the project was only supposed to take a few days) my husband and I both called and told him we would like to be refunded because he has not done the work! He said he would give us at least half of the money back because he ordered the materials. As of yesterday Jefferson Goodwell declined our several attempts to collect our money via Venmo (his preferred method of payment)! We initially paid him Memorial Day weekend and are still waiting for our money back! Not only did he leave holes in our backyard for over a month and dodge our calls and texts to collect our money, he has now delayed our project and companies are projecting to work with us well into September! This is completely unfair and uncalled for! He’s extremely unprofessional and an actual thief! He took our money and did absolutely no work, if anything he created a bigger headache for us! I implore you to NEVER USE HIM OR HIS COMPANY! He hasn’t changed from his poor reviews years ago until now! Please stay away from this man and his business!

Needed branches pruned and cut back from my roof. Jefferson and his crew handled everything to include cleanup. Very professional and will be using his services again.

Jefferson is a hard worker and well educated when doing a project. Very professional. Highly recommended if you need landscaping, stonework, fencing. We were very pleased with his work.

We cannot comment on there landscaping work, but for snow removal, I would definitely avoid. We posted an ad for a snow removal company to handle one of our client properties. We called them the next time we needed a snow removal company. I spoke with Jefferson and he assured me it would be no problem for the service. I never heard back from them the rest of the day. Never heard from them the day after despite leaving voicemails. If we cannot trust them on a small job, which they responded to via an ad, and then said it was no problem to engage there services, we would never use them for any of our larger properties.

I called + Jefferson answered the phone. Jefferson immediately gave me a price over the phone for trimming 6 large bushes on my property. We set up appointment for next day. Jefferson + staff showed up 15 minutes early. They completely all the work proficiently, timely + neatly. I was extremely impressed by Jefferson + staffs outstanding skills, professionalism, proficiency + punctuality. It was incredibly easy to call, estimate price + get the job done immediately + proficiently. I highly recommend Horticultural Masterpiece, Jefferson + staff for all your landscaping needs.
