Thanks to Spring Green our lawn looks outstanding! We receive compliments frequently on how nice our grass looks. We have used Spring Green for years and have never been disappointed with the quality of their work or their customer service. When we lived out of state for several years and had to use a different lawn company, we had numerous communication issues! It is so nice to be back with Spring Green! AND they are locally owned and operated which means a lot to us!

This is the second season that Spring Green has treated our lawn. The service and results are great. The grass is thick and green with minimal weeds, and I especially like that I don't have to call each year to set up the applications, the technician shows up consistently for each cycle. I would recommend Spring Green.
We are so pleased with the work spring green has done with our lawn this year. It started out really brown and a lot of weeds in the front yard. It is now back to a fully green and healthy lawn. Shane our technician has always been professional and has gone above and beyond. I am so happy with they way our yard looks now
When I called to express concern about services provided (aeration that tore up my grass, over seeding that placed as much grass in my flowerbeds as on the grass, a treatment scheduled 8 days after the seed was spread) I was told by Jackie that “I didn’t have to continue as a customer if I was not satisfied”. I am no longer a customer. I had to follow up more than once to get treatment started, technicians assigned to treat my lawn and spread seed did not seem to have accurate information about services completed or scheduled, and little was done to ensure satisfaction. For example, I’ve included a photo of a small portion of my lawn damaged during aeration. When reported, a technician was sent to view the damage. I was unaware of the visit until after it was completed, was told the tech who caused the damage should have switched equipment after the first time the damaged occurred, and was told it would eventually fill in. The seed spread in all my flower beds was never addressed.
Update! SG replied claiming their products are drought tolerant, been in business x amount of years and how it seems how proud they are to be charging people for products that do nothing for those years. The invoice states the product needs at least 1/2 inch of water within days to be effective. ( Lady answering the phone claims 10 days) Clearly they do not know their product or what it requires, but are happy to roll around and charge you for it. Pic added, their treated lawn of 2+ years is on the left, no product lawn on the right. They applied product to a brown lawn, and the product requires at least 1/2 inch of rain. There is no rain in sight. That was 14 days ago. Do you have to pay over 100 dollars for something that was uselessly applied. Sure do! I say until it rains everyone should cancel their service. You are paying for something being to be applied by the "experts" when they know it wont work!

I have been taking pride and good care of my lawn for over 4 decades. I have tried 3 different lawn care companies over that span. None however, compare to the expert service and quality care, that I have received from Spring Green of Peoria. When I receive my service, the same lawn professional shows up each time, with the exception of attrition of their staff. They know the products, and the weather conditions that cause issues and address it accordingly. I also look forward to the first Saturday of the month, where the owner of the Peoria franchise, gives a very detailed and helpful explanation of the things that affect a lawn and advice on how a homeowner can easily address concerns in between the technician visits. He also addresses other topics as with trees, shrubs, and even pesky pests and rodents. I have accepted and offer on my home and my expertly manicured lawn will be one of the things that I will miss the most. Thank you Spring Green for giving me the subdivisions most beautiful lawn!

Tried to scam me by walking up and saying they were here for my lawn treatment that I didnt have ordered told them to go away
I called the office a few weeks ago to complain about all the lime green grass in our yard. Weve previously had Spring Green service for years with no complaints. The office person stated because we are no longer on the 5 or 6 treatment program they wouldnt come out to treat it. I asked what could be done. She answered, nothing. Youll just have to wait until fall frost and retreat it next year. I canceled my service. Her response was a casual okay. We were paying $123.00 per treatment.
My husband and I started your service several years ago. Lawn was a mess. We noticed immediate improvement. Our tech was great. Several years of no crabgrass, no dandelions, no real weeds at all. Flash to this year. Our tech has retired ( congrats to him!) Service has seemed a little off all season. Last time they were here I was outside when he was servicing next door. He said it wasnt time for mine but hed do it since he was there and there was some left in tank of something I didnt get but hed give me that?? Very soon after he did, I started getting weeds badly. I even have crabgrass again! 2 months havent seen anyone. I was thinking about canceling anyway due to my reduced income etc. So I pulled the trigger and called to cancel. Lady was very pleasant, all she said was ok got it canceled for you. Not even is there an issue ? or anything. Either lots of cancels due to economy or due to problems. Mine were both. Never had these weeds until this year since we had started.
We have used Spring-Green for going on ten years. Very satisfied. I had a problem with my yard and they came out and did an evaluation and took care of it.

I have used Spring Green for 3 years for my parents house in Varna and they have been fantastic. The yard was in bad shape so didnt have high expectations however, I was pleased with the dramatic change in a short period. The staff are all friendly and professional. I live in Missouri so they would call prior to every application/service. I hate to cancel this service but we are selling the home. I highly recommend this business.
We have used spring green for over twelve years. On or about the last Saturday in Aug they applied a liquid weed and feed to our lawn on a 92 degree day at around 10:30 in the morning. Four days later our lawn began to die off. I contacted them immediately and they finally sent someone out. He informed me it was dollar spot. Thats BS. It was green and full before the sprayed that orange chemical on it. I reached out again over a week ago and have heard nothing back from them. SAD!!!! It wont let me add photos to this review..... Basically its dirt!!!!!!!

Bad owner. Has a anger issue. Will literally call the cops on a guy just trying to do his job. Needs to learn a little compassion. Would definitely not do business with this company. If they treat people horrible how do you think they will treat your lawn. Stay away

On 06/29/19 I contacted Spring Green (Peoria, Il.) and reported a problem with my yard. I was told that someone would come out to inspect what is going on. On 07/01/19, I called back and asked when someone was coming out. I was told that a service ticket had been written, and someone would be coming by. Here is it 07/07/19, and Im still waiting for someone to arrive or even contact me. Last year I was very happy with the service. I even pay for all of this year in advance. (Im not sure of what happened, but this is not the same company it was a year ago.) Note: In two weeks my yard has gotten worse. I will be cancelling my service once what I have paid for has been used. I could not recommend this company. Im only giving this one star. (I would give it none, but it wont let me post this review with no stars.)
In less than two years, Spring Green has completely changed my lawn! I tried out two other companies and felt almost cheated. The other companies seemed to just run through my lawn and couldnt even tell me what crabgrass looked like!! A rather basic question! I was referred to Spring Green and I couldnt be happier. The staff is friendly, experienced (not a bunch of inexperienced kids) and very knowledgeable. The best part is I feel I can trust them. I dont feel like theyre trying to sell me services I dont need. Ill continue with them and would feel fine recommending Spring Green to any one interested in a Green healthy lawn at a decent price!

They were short of employees in spring of 2017 so we missed our first 2 treatments completely. Then, when we finally got a treatment in late May, it was what should have been done in March, not end of May. We remained behind & I finally just told them to forget it after a couple treatments. They never used granular - just sprayed. We didnt even bother finishing the season with them. Just not a good experience overall.
We have had 3 treatments this year. Aeration done as well with Spring green; and have never had so much crabgrass......
The results from the Spring Green treatment are astonishing! I love my lawn--it feels like a golf course. 5 stars!
