I have been using Cuttin' It Close for years now, primarily for fertilization services. I have always been extremely satisfied with the level of service they provide. This past year, I decided to have aeration done and I am beyond impressed with the results. My grass is like a lush carpet this spring, and I couldn't be happier. The team at the company truly knows their stuff and I highly recommend them for all your lawn care needs!

Company was recommended by our current lawn guy for leaf clean up, and it was a LOT of work.. They did it while we were on vacation, and we came back to a home that looked worlds better! I asked my fiancé what was so different, why does the house look so good.. he said there’s no leaves! They did such a wonderful job, I forgot leaves were ever even in our yard. Would highly recommend!
We have used Jim and his team for two seasons for fertilizer and fall cleanup, aerating etc. They have been great, and reasonable. They recently tore down and replaced a section of retaining wall. Spotless job site, great quality and reasonably priced. I will continue to work with them and refer as well.
After moving to a new house with a great yard that just needed help, we called Cuttin' It Close to help us get our front and back yards back in shape and ready for the season. They provided us a quote promptly and arrived exactly when they said they would! They were even able to move us up a day or two in their schedule- amazing! The crew arrived in the morning and they were done by lunch time, and we have a brand new yard! During the quoting process they helped us decide how we wanted to proceed with all the different areas that were in need of attention, and were very knowledgeable about what would work best (i.e. rocks vs. much, types of plants that would work best, areas that would be better with grass vs. flower beds, etc.). The crew got to work as soon as they arrived and could not have been more cordial and professional! By lunchtime, they had cleared several neglected flowerbeds, installed beautiful river rocks in a few of them, planted day lillies, trimmed back some overgrown trees/brush, regraded some small sections of yard to make it a "smooth" surface, planted grass seed and covered it with protective straw, cleared a big pile of dirt from the back yard, even helped us put down some mulch that we already had ready to go, and a few other odds and ends that just needed attention in the yard. They truly went above and beyond and carefully explained how to care for everything. We could not be more pleased with the work they did and everyone we dealt with at the company was cordial and friendly. We were also able to book them for a couple of yard sprays for weeds/fertilizer throughout the season. The other yard spray companies we've used in the past never offered an option for just a couple of sprays -- this company recognized that we didn't need more than that for this season. We recommended them to my retired parents, and the company promptly reached out to prove a quote for seasonal sprays for their yard as well. We could not believe how reasonable the cost was considering all the work they did! To them, this was a "small job," but for us it was huge! They truly helped us get on track with making our new house feel like home and giving us an outdoor space we can enjoy for years to come! 100% recommend this company!!!
This company introduced us to hydro seeding about 3 years ago and our yard is amazing. Owner Jim Bill helped us redesign our backyard landscaping and we have invited him and his company back this year for additional landscaping. I moved into Edgewild in late summer and decided while in the moving process to hire a lawn care team. I went with Cuttin It Close as they were responsive and not booked up. Now I know why they were one of the few places not booked for the summer. I believe the team took advantage of the fact we were not living at the residence and did a mediocre job. By the time we reached our last mow service we were living at our new home. The mowers knew we were home as all the windows were open. The last mow was by far the best but not great compared to my neighbors. If they could of provided this kind of service the entire time I might have considered keeping them through the summer. A week after the final mow was done and over with. I receive a bill that showed not paid. This is impossible because as a new customer you prepay. I paid for 4 mows and only received 4 mows. I was then told that I got an extra cut the first week of service due to the length of the lawn when they first started. Why would this bill for the extra mow, done almost two months ago be received now versus intially? Needless to say I am disappointed with their services overall. I wouldnt recommend this company unless you are desperate. Only positive is that the office receptionist is friendly and responds quickly.

Have been using Cuttin-it-Close for approx 3 years now for our 50+ condo and townhouse complex for lawn care and landscaping services. Very cost competitive. Am very satisfied overall. Their employees are always respectful and courteous and go the extra mile to make sure they satisfy.

They broke our front glass and instead of fixing it, broke our contract and told us to find another service.

I would not have gave a review if i havent used your services before. I chose not to use my primary email. And you do not keep people 100 percent happy. I called and you kept dancing around the issue and said you would get it next time for a one time job i hired the company for. This is the only review i have ever done. That is how much you deserve it.
