TruGreen Lawn Care in Pensacola

I met the technician at the street. I dont understand the no knock comment. We spoke about the lawn. He was to report a fungus treatment requirement. Its not in the report. He states that the lawn needs water. The soil is mud from recent rain The report seems a cut and paste of pervious reports. Otherwise the gentleman was very respectful and thorough about the application.

Tech was courteous upon arrival and very polite. Did everything I asked.

Shemar did an excellent job, he showed genuine care in helping my lawn look its best. I enjoyed talking with him. I highly recommend Shemar, he is a valuable asset to your company. Thank you Shemar. I look forward to seeing you again.

Final update- *10 months later* TruGreen is an absolute waste of money. None of the dead spots were corrected, bugs still prevalent, and appearance was unaltered. Either do it yourself or have *any* other company do it. Update- a different salesman offered to win me back with a reduced price and recommitment to service. Ill let you know in a year if its changed my mind. Bottom line- Just dont. Get anyone else or do it yourself. My experience - I was offered 50% off the first treatment (still pricey), a personal contact number for issues with a satisfaction guarantee, so I agreed. They missed spraying a 2 ft anthill, when I asked them to return and spray it, my contact said sure- they never returned, even after I requested again. After my second request, my contact stopped responding all together. Last chance of redemption was their customer service when I called to cancel. I was badgered for 20 min before being allowed to end the service.

La Traveon was very careful to explain what we re seeing with our yard. Explained what services are needed and when. This man may well be THE reason we don t cancel our service.

Zachary. was very professional and quickly sprayed the yard for chinchbugs and weeds. He knocked on the door prior to spraying. I asked him several questions IRT mowing and watering which he confidently answered. Our lawn is showing improvement and hopefully this chinchbug treatment will also help.

Signed up nearly 2 months ago for aeration and fertilization they have yet to do the aeration but already started fertilizing. When questioned they said that s how they do it, they didn t have me scheduled for aeration until next month. They over promised my entire acre lot would look like a golf course for around $2k then when the first tech came out he put in his notes that we should consider getting sod in addition to their services. When we called to talk about this we got hung up on by a rude lady in customer service. Don t waste your time this company is not professional.

They don t come out when you want them to come. They cut our internet fiber cable doing aeration. I ordered my front and side yard to be treated and they treated the back yard without permission. We were not home, we asked for after 3:00pm so we could be there but they came at 9:30am, twice and we called them after the first treatment. They are giving us a hard time canceling the service. I don t recommend them.

Trevor H is an exceptional technician. The communication from Scheduling is VERY lacking but Trevor makes up for it.

I would like to compliment Tristin on a job well done. He answered all my questions about the treatment he was applying and explained about some different weeds growing in my yard. I hired this company in Henderson, Nevada and it was a complete waste of money. Had to push hard to get a partial refund. The people came and sprayed something on my lawn and left each time within about 10 minutes of arriving. They were supposed to kill weeds, but those weeds kept growing and not much died. This was in the summer and they tried to get me to hire them to seed grass in the fall, but the weeds never stopped. Whatever they are spraying on the lawn didnt do jack diddly. If you want to fix your lawn, goto Home Depot or Lowes, get your own stuff and do it yourself. At least that way, it will get done right. Companies like this are a nuisance and its shocking how they are able to stay in business. I guess the easy jobs keep them going, but they should be able to kill some weeds at the very least. But they didnt, so no more lawn services for me.

My lawn desperately needs some TLC. I called on Monday to get set up with service. The woman on the phone was professionally and answered all my questions. She said that someone would be out in the next 5 or so days and they came on Wednesday. I like that I receive text notifications. The two men that came out were polite and professional. Another thing I appreciate is that the woman on the phone said they will contact me at the start of next season to see if I want to continue service. My card won t be automatically charged. Thus far, I am pleased with the customer service. Time will tell for the rest.

Undortunately, I have to give true green two stars because they will simply not treat our backyard. We actually canceled TruGreen in the past due to this issue, but a great salesman came to our door one day, and assured ys that they would come to the backyard, quoted us, so we decided to sign up for that plan. I had no idea the whole year would be put on my card at once, in the past we have done monthly payments, but I was never asked. Just charged $530 at once. So after the first treatment, they only treated our front yard (we have ring cameras), and never even opened the gate to go in the back. I had to repeatedly call and reach out for them to treat our backyard. I told them it needed to be done by a certain day or else we would cancel, they never sent anyone out, so we cancelled and will hopefully receive the refund in the allotted business days. I would say if you re going to use them, make sure they re treating your whole yard! Not just slinging around a hose for 7 minutes on a 4000 square foot yard. Edit: can t help but think after reading the review below me that there is a smooth talking salesman who doesn t reach out much after the sale is done.

Had issue with service but they made it right.

I ve tried two years in a row and twice the technicians have shown up to treat the yard . And haven t treated the whole yard. They ll say they did your entire yard in approximately 5 minutes flat and charge you regardless.

Our lawn still has WEEDS!! The technician said that he would call and get someone out here to kill the weeds. Then I will need that area to be seeded or put sod in that area.

Yes. We are using tru green now. The lawn looks slightly better. The reason for 1 is... Tru green charged my financial institution an absorbent sum of $$$. Which was not refunded. Yes we got the service and paid for it. But dont assume I want something else. Without asking. (Added). Thank you for replying. However I did call your local office. What they offered was service at another discounted price. So the original post still is true. Nothing made it right. I had to except what your co did. No partial refund. From the OVER charge was NOT refunded. The person here simply said. Tough, not in that exact word. What I can offer is next 8 services at a lesser amount. Which doesnt justify my money being taken out. Just like when I buy something at a store. They get the money in seconds. But If I made a return. It takes 7-10 days to refund my $$ In close! Surveys speak volume! Treat a person fairly & Honestly and a better review is given.

Not a responsible company. We paid in advance per the companies requirement for aeration to be done on our yard. After several attempts and calls back to True Green we have yet to have our yard aerated. This morning we got a text message saying that the attendant was at our house performing the service. No one showed. In the mean time we had another service scheduled for potash. I saw the gentleman in the yard and was going to ask him about the aeration service. As I approached him in the back yard he turned around headed to his truck and left? Then I received a text message from True Green saying the service was completed? Trying to take advantage of customers and lie about services. Dont use this company, they are dishonest and lie, or should I say dont show up and charge for a service they didnt provide.

I called to set up service and schedule our initial service. They never showed for the scheduled appointment. I called and they were unable to reschedule without a manager. After 39 minutes, it was rescheduled. Again they did not show up as rescheduled. It seems the staff you speak with over the phone does not know how to accurately schedule. I plan to give our hard earned money to another local company. I am so happy I didnt pre-pay as was suggested to save money! Buyer beware.

Fertilization -very good job Weed control- they miss some of the broadleaf weeds. They will come out and respray the weeds they missed. Positive

Im a new customer and very disappointed that when I called the local office, my call goes overseas. I couldnt understand the young lady. This is no way to do business. A local number should ring locally. Seems kind of shady to me. UPDATE As of 4/15/23 I am totally disgusted with Trugreen. Calls go to an overseas call center and its not possible to speak with a local branch. This is not how you do business. Cancelation coming your way!!!!!!

I am trying to reach TruGreen and unable to get a callback from the office and Pensacola. My yard has been treated and it looks like everything is dying. I cannot get a supervisor or anyone knowledgeable to come out and make contact with me. I keep getting phone calls and they hang up as soon as I answer.

Had our first treatment today. When the reps sold us this treatment plan, they said they will fertilize, and kill the weeds. I told them I have a spot in my back yard that only weeds grow, and they said by spraying it, it will kill the weeds, and change the PH so that grass will start to grow. I mentioned that to Andrew O, our technician, and he said he is only allowed to spray on grass. Well, the reps that sold me this plan said it will kill the weeds and grass will start to grow, that is why I purchased this expensive plan. I had to tell the technician that I paid to spray my whole yard, and that was part of my yard, so he reluctantly sprayed it. I had questions about my yard, but the tech didnt say more than a few words to me. I was under the impression that they go over your yard with you to get the most out of your service. So far I am not impressed, and hope this is not a preview of whats to come. Very disappointed. Also cant call the supervisor Jason, because there is no local number to call. Always get the center. Who does business like this????

I am a brand new customer. But after I have to see these reviews I don t think I will remain a customer. Same thing as other comments only sprayed front yard. Was not left on the note anywhere that they did not treat the backyard. Did not notify me the day before that they were coming only when they were here. I have a large dog in my backyard so I know they did not spray because I was not notified. Charged more than what they quoted me because they said they applied 2 services that I was not aware of. I do not have time to watch them to see if they spray my front and backyard. I would not have had a problem if he would ve at least noted that he couldn t spray. I was also told all my payments would only be $104 and my first payment was over $150 for just my front yard. The person that gives the quotes does not fully explain all the cost.

Asked for a one time service and they have scheduled me for services for 3 more times I keep having to call and cancel. I don t even live in the house anymore and they are still trying to schedule me. Absolutely ridiculous. I ll never use this company again because of this

Terrible Company! Weve used them for years, never an issue. This year is terrible! Our lawn is dead and the management in Pensacola doesnt care nor will they resolve it! Stay away, waste of money. I now have the worst lawn in my neighborhood!

TrueGreen is a scam. Dont do it. Your lawn service is not a true full lawn service. Anything extra than the basic spray that they need to apply to keep your yard going as promised is an additional add on or they just reduce the number of service calls from your contract. They came out for lawn service one day in Feb, one in March...havent seen them since; its May 24th and Im down three service calls. The feb visit I needed potash so they charged me for 2 service calls on the same day. The sales people will tell you that a service call will consist of any nutrients your yard needs during that visit is part of the service. Not true. I will not be signing any more contracts and will strongly advise my circle of friends to stay far away. Cant wait for all the pushy calls once i terminate my contract now that Im armed with real information. Ive tried all 3 companies in my area and this one is the worst and most expensive. Will go back to Ensec if I continue lawn service..

If they are doing your tree and shrub maintenance, check what is being done. They are sending trucks out without a spraying capability and are spreading a little fertilizer and calling the visit complete. Last two visits for me were sent with trucks that couldnt perform the spray application. Extremely hard to get to the manager of the Pensacola office. Still waiting for a call back on the 2nd unsatisfactory application.

Please do not use this company. They came out to my house for maybe 15 minutes. Did not get the whole yard. I was also only supposed to be charged $45 and they ended up charging $116. I called and asked them to fix it and they said they would. But still charged me that amount. Overall, I m disappointed in how this whole situation unfolded.

My last lawn service was provided by TrueGreen tech by the name of Washington. He was knowledgeable, personable, and did an outstanding job, keeping me informed of what he did and why. He deserves to be recognized as an example of the professionalism that TrueGreen represents.

Listen up everyone!! If you have a nice yard, dont let TruGreen anywhere near it as they will ruin your lawn, and kill your grass. They ruined my yard, and turned it around on me, and said my grass was old, and nothing they could do about it. They didnt even try to fix it, or replace the dead grass that they killed. Stay away from these people if you want to keep your lawn looking good.

It s a seamless process and they alert you when they re on the way to service. It s only been 1 week and 2 services but I m excited to see how this improves our lawn. Eddy was great and let me know what was going on and how often to water. He is so fast!

After I signed up for service I called the very next day and cancelled the service. The salesman came by wanting to pressure me into keeping it. A few days after that the Technician came by and sprayed half my lawn before I could stop him. The day after that the Technicians boss called me up wanting an explanation. Then I got a bill in the mail. Communication within this company is the worst.

For the 5th time since we moved into our new home (approx 6 months) we have had TruGreen reps stop by and blatantly ignore our very prominent No Soliciting signs, plural. Please, train your associates to respect others privacy. I do NOT wish to flood my yard with pesticides/glyphosate and dont wish to be scoffed at when I say I am YET AGAIN not interested.

Tyler H did a great job. Took the time to discuss what he was doing. All Trugreen employees discuss what they are doing but Tyler seemed to know the reasons behind every chemical he was using.

This company killed our new Zoysia, and did not offer any remedy to resolve the issue.

Not pleased with the one month of service I received. They sprayed my grass twice and killed it, its brown now. It s no longer green. They ruined my yard.

Treatments to my lawn are going well, with a little time watering 1 or 2 times a week when it hasnt rained is really the only thing Im doing...TruGreen has really helped me understand my lawn, for sure!

My yard is dying! The green photo is from before I had service complete. And the dying is after I have had a few services. I water my yard 2-3 times a week. There is shade as you can see. There are clear lines of where you can see the rep has sprayed between mine and my neighbors. I have also had to call about the fact the rep doesnt spray the front and the back.. just the front.. AND I paid for the entire yard. Theres a clear line where the rep stops and starts the service halfway down the side of my home. Living in the area you know it is not easy to get your lawn looking nice. I re-soded my yard last year.. and now I will likely have to do it again. I tried to call the office MULTIPLE times. I keep getting a csr else where. I am beyond angry that I am paying for a service that is hurting rather than helping my yard. CSR said they will make it right but do I even trust them any longer to touch my lawn?? How sad that the pretty lawn is me doing all the work and the yard dying is from a PROFESSIONAL!

I hired Tru Green in Jan to help me control weeds in my front yard. In March I noticed everything in my yard turning brown. I tried to contact the company for help and they ignored me until I filed a complaint with BBB. I tried to work with them to revive my yard but all that happened was more grass and shrub kill. And they double charged me for my lasts month service saying I needed bug treatment. My husband and I have maintained this yard since 2016. We were just looking to get a company so we could concentrate on other things. Stay well away from this company.

The TruGreen Lawn Care tech showed up this morning to perform our scheduled lawn service. However, nothing was done. He stayed in the truck for a few minutes, only to get out and place the yard sign in my front yard that says to stay off until the treatment is dry. Basically, trying to make it look like he did his job. I then received a service ticket for the completed service. He then drove off, must have driven around my neighborhood to kill a few minutes, and then did the EXACT same thing to my neighbor across the street. Luckily, I have cameras around my house and have video to back up these claims. This is the 2nd time I have caught TruGreen Lawn Care out of Pensacola, FL claiming to have performed a service, charging me for the service, and then being caught on camera not actually performing the lawn service.

No sure they are even doing my lawn.

They repeatedly visited my residence and called seeking my business. After a few conversations I agreed. A few days later, I noticed they overcharged my account $700.00. It has been nearly 5 days and they have not refunded the money. Furthermore I notified I would like to cancel services due to not being contacted by an associate for a convenient time to visit. As of now, 6 days later my $700 has not been refunded so I m certain the other $552 will take a week.

I have seen my neighbors yard, looking very good, due to Trugreen! Surely caught my attention after your people leaving several cards at my door, took me two years to accept your service, I think it will be a great investment.

Phone wait was 2 hours. The recording said it can call you back if you want, well it never did!

I have used this company since 2017and had no issues. This year 2021 is a different story. My lawn looks horrible and I have already had 3 services. Trying to get ahold of them is near impossible. I resorted to using the contact me option on their website. as of 4/28 I am waiting for a call back from a supervisor Nigel I will never use them again!

My boyfriend got approached by a sales person and agreed to do the $30 first time service for weeds. They came out when they said they would but they decided to take it upon themselves to do a service we didn t ask for and charge us for it. They called us before the appointment to set up the account and even that first call made us worry. We had to double check with the lady multiple times to make sure we were only going to be charged $30 for the one service because she kept trying to make us pay for more. My boyfriend checked the account and noticed a charge of $86 and immediately called them, and waited for 40 minutes to speak with somebody. They refused to give us the money back and I know it s only $56 but the fact that they took money from us so willingly and without approval is ridiculous. We had to ask multiple times during that call to cancel our account, it s sad that companies like this are so money hungry and don t care.

They charged me 3 times the amount originally agreed on. Poor service and poor costumer service. I could never reach them on the phone regarding my account being over charged. I would never recommend this company.

Im posting this for other people to not get ripped off by tru green. I want to begin with you pay all this money for them to make your lawn look good well my lawn looks worse now then when they first started . I also paid good money to get grass ugs put in and they shorted me more than 2/3 what I paid for so I called them and had an appointment set with one of the managers to come out to meet me and he didnt show up or did he call me saying he wasnt coming . I called and called him and the company noone responded to me and this went on for months. So I cancelled my service with them then corporate called me asking me what happened and told them they promised me they would take care of me and make it right time after time and to this day nothing has been done yet. All I want is my grass plugs I paid or money back. So I wouldnt recommend anyone to go with this company

I have used TruGreen for years, and 2021 is by far the worst ever! Dont expect the employees to be honest, because they lie and dont hold up to promises made. Worst service ever, and they dont show up as expected. Absolutely DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH TRUGREEN. Management is a joke!

Service is good, billing and sales shady... took 3 phone calls, 1 hang up and a threat about breach of contract before they fixed my billing issue. But my grass sure is purty... :)

EDIT: Hey Truegreen person, I have reached out to your company numerous times via email, online chat and phone (in fact Im on the phone on hold RIGHT NOW). Ive received yet another $300 bill for a service THAT YOU DID NOT PERFORM!! We purchased the Lawn Plug service. You do not carry Centipede lawn plugs and therefore can not plug my lawn. So....STOP BILLING ME AND ANSWER THE DARN PHONE! ORIGINAL: Waiting on our refund for the reminder of the year

Asked technician to pay special attention to missed areas with visable weeds, and as a result was left with several large patches of dead grass. Paid over $700.00 for dead grass because he over sprayex!

So far so good. My 1st service was prompt and professional and I have gotten good customer service from the office personnel.

Had a bad experience with one of the techs out in public today from this company. He stepped out from behind his truck out in front of me as I was pulling into the same house, then has the nerve to get my tag number and call my office to tell them that I almost ran him over! What a clown maybe if he didnt have ear buds in his ears he would have heard my vehicle coming! Maybe you should look both ways before walking out into the road!

My mom, who is elderly, hired these people to get her grass looking nice. She signed a contract with them, unfortunately, so she is stuck. She called them 3 times about her yard and it is still infested with mole crickets and it still looks terrible. It has been since February. They told her that the mole crickets are gone, which isn t true. I do not recommend them. I recommend going to Home Depot or Lowe s and buying what you need and doing it yourself, if you can.

Is there a -5 star rating?? Just like everyone else is saying, DO NOT use TruGreen!!! All we asked them to do was to take a soil sample. They came and sprayed and charged us $70. I called the next day and said, I didnt want a service, I wanted a soil sample. They said they would send someone out the next day at no charge and get that done for us. The guy sprayed AGAIN! Charged another $70! I called and said youve charged me 2 times now and havent even taken a soil sample! How do you know what you need to spray or put on my lawn?? Take a soil sample and I dont want another service until we get back the results. That was TWO MONTHS ago!! And they have called every week trying to add more services. Saying there is a service call scheduled that I have to hurry and call at 8 the next morning to cancel (because they dont do the automated calls until they are closed). Then! WITHOUT CALLING They came out and did an aeration, and two MORE sprayings all at the same time! They didnt knock on the door or anything when they got there either. So I didnt even get THAT courtesy. And charged us $309! They are taking the money directly out of our account. So we cant just not pay it. We are trying to get the money back since they didnt call. It wasnt authorized. Not a single service other than the soil sample was authorized! I have on record where I said I was putting everything on hold until I heard back from the soil sample..which we still havent gotten! So why are they doing anything to the yard?? The aeration was a HORRIBLE job too. They just ripped up huge pieces of grass in areas and its now COMPLETELY DEAD! All we keep hearing is the manager will call back in 48 hours. That was MONDAY, this is THURSDAY and I have called every single day trying to speak to someone. Do it yourself or hire the 13 year old down the street, theyll do a better job.

Sharing on behalf of my mother-in-law (Boardwalk Ct , Gulf Breeze) because we have no other recourse. Over the course of 6 weeks, the yard was treated three times which resulted in the death of ALL of the grass. Instead of fixing and repairing the Lawn or offering any kind of restitution, only 60% of the money was refunded (full season paid in advance). Additionally, despite many attempts, we are unable to reach the sales rep Tiffany E (whose direct line doesn t accept calls) to discuss these issues. We will be sure to share with our entire social circle of our un satisfaction with this company and their lip service customer relations.

I was contacted by the salesman, David, and offered service; scheduled for 8/10 or 11. On the 11th, I called to learn it had not been scheduled and, worse, David had signed me up for aeration, lime, cinch bugs, etc. NONE OF THESE WERE AUTHORIZED!! On that day, service was scheduled for no later than Friday (today). When I called today, I am not on the schedule. Obviously, they are much too busy for a customer and, worse, have no problem telling lies!

They are always on time and get the job done. Whenever there has been any other issues, they get the job done asap. Love them and the professional staff!

After two years my lawn has sod webworms, yellow patches, dollarweed, and numerous other weeds. Many promises. Zero follow-up.

If you are around the Florida area, negotiate hard on price and make sure you get an email backing that up. Be ready for a Jacksonville number to call you and promise you one price (because you should negotiate hard, its just grass), then call you again but with a different name and give you a higher price before he runs your card. First off, this company is over priced. When you negotiate and pay for a full year, you can get it down in the $400 range which is much better. I originally signed up to pay by the service because I needed help with getting rid of a pest and getting my new sod rooted in Pensacola, FL. The 1st service was half price which I was hoping to fix the pest problem before the next service which is supposed to be 4-6 weeks later. Instead, they did 2 services on the first day and then another one 2 days later. I had no idea! My expected $30 invoice just went to $180. I complained and it took awhile, but they did eventually give me my money back for the 2 unexpected services. I got a call from a couple people trying to get me back. Finally, one guy who said his name was Bob really started haggling price with me. Personally, he did not sound like a Bob but he also presented it as his name in a very weird manner, he seemed to be stalling and then said I could call him Bob. He said he was calling from his cell phone and I could call anytime. He dropped the price to $330ish plus tax for 10 services over 1 year, which I felt I could not pass up, so he got me back. Plus they say you can pay for a year in advance and cancel anytime to receive a prorated amount back. Win/win! I gave him payment info and expected a call for the next service after a few weeks. He said I would get an email that I actually never received. I got a call today from a Jay that sounded and acted just like Bob did, even called me from the same phone number. Said he was going to charge me $430ish for the full year. I told him Ive already confirmed this for a lesser price, can he not see this in his customer notes. He said they could never go that low, maybe he could get $421, but thats it (he even haggled like Bob). I told him thats not what I agreed to, but I couldnt check because I was driving. He continued to deflect and try to get me to pay for the $430ish amount. I said I wont pay that after getting word that I could pay less. So he said Ill cancel the service. I told him if he could wait, I could look for proof once I wasnt driving. He said he would just cancel and hung up. I stopped to look and found my text chain with my wife that described the conversation and backed up my memory. Bob never sent me an email like he said he would, so all I had was a phone call. I did save his number since Bob said I could reach out to him on it (I was skeptical of the whole deal) and it was the same number that Jay called me from. Very unprofessional to play customers like this!

Started service in August and within 60 days most of our shrubs died. When yard would be treated the service would only treat half the yard. Received multiple calls continually trying to get me to purchase other services. After cancelling service received call from account management basically telling me I didnt understand how the process works and that to improve the yard I would need to purchase the other services. Would not recommend to anyone, waste of money and unprofessional personnel.

Pictures are worth more than my words. New sod was put down June 2018. I entered a contract with Tru green shortly after. Several complaints have been made and supposedly addressed. Our yard has a irrigation system and was watered as recommended. I want Tru green to make this right. My neighbor who does her own yard looks 100 times better than mine. If there was a way to give no star I definitely would. The posted pics are sod removal & replacement 6/2018 and the last pictures are 3/1/2019 #Terriblydisappointed

Ive been a TruGreen lawn customer since last August. I was a bit apprehensive so I only had them do my new sod in the backyard. I read mixed reviews but then I started seeing them all over my neighborhood. If they were good enough for my neighbors, then .... They did a good job on my backyard so in January of this year, I had them do not only the back but the front. Theyve controlled the bugs that love to crawl around and hide in the grass and theyve also controlled the weeds. In the areas where weeds died, there were bare spots, but TruGreen sells sod plugs and theyll put them in. I plan to have them do mosquitoes and recently signed up for their fire ant service. I also signed up for their Tree & Shrub in January along with my lawn because they take care of Palms. Ive not had to worry about a thing with my yard except for mowing and watering and the guys are great to work with. They give notice ahead of time to let you know theyre coming and if you have to reschedule, its never a problem. The ONLY negative that I have is that their switchboard main number and customer service is HORRIBLE. They answer right away, listen and are encouraged to accommodate but I have found that nothing gets past them (literally) and none of them know what theyre doing. Ive had to call several times to have a worker contact me back on something but never got the call. Im told one thing and its not necessarily what happens. The positive out of this negative is that they do it with a smile! but still its EXTREMELY frustrating. Ive developed patience with this company and have become a saint as a result. I called at the beginning of a week wanting to get signed up for their mosquito plan. They said someone would call me back to get me set up but nothing happened. I had to sign up online while I was logged into my account. Seriously? I called and inquired on the Tru Signature Plan and none of them knew what it was and its on their website! At this point, I knew more than they did. It seems to be a Bermuda Triangle where customer service is concerned. Ive yet to be helped when I call in. The guys do a bang up job out in the field but in the office, not so much. TruGreen needs to work on this. Other than that, its been wonderful. I would recommend them. Im good for 2019. Well see what I do in 2020 because in my mind, theyre still on probation. ;)

We had one yellow spot on our lawn. They said they could have it looking good in three weeks. Now most of our lawn is yellow and brown. Not happy. Now we must have another problem; you think!

We had one of the prettiest yards in our neighborhood we hired TruGreen in October by March we noticed Brown spots and places where grass wasnt growing. Thought they were going keep or make our yard look better than ever but I was Truly wrong..

I never had any issues with TruGreen. They seemed perfectly adequate. My grass didnt die, which of course is the main goal.

This is about the most unprofessional company I have ever talked I have been trying to talk to a manager for over a week now because four weeks ago one of the representatives came to my house sold me a product build my credit card and her still to this day on able to let me speak to a manager to find out when I might be getting the product that I purchased take it what you know this is not a place that I would recommend you do business with

My husband and I decided to give TruGreen a try to get our Geo-Zoysia a little greener and control a few small areas of nutsedge, they came out 4 times in which our lawn went down hill fast. They were killing the grass and claiming that we are not watering it enough. Our grass only requires 1 inch of water a week. They aerated 3 different times and each time they came out the invoice suggested they aerate which is an additional fee of $169. Each time we would tell them you guys just did it, so they re-did it at no cost. We complained several times and called and each time we are told that someone would come out and talk to us. No calls or representative came to do such. The TruGreen guarantee is nothing more than hot air- they dont repair, replace or fix what they did and find excuses to blame the homeowner for their lack of knowledge and inadequacy. The last and final time we used them the representative came, took pictures of all the weeds. They had just sprayed 2 weeks prior and no weeds were dead, instead our grass was dying and we had more weeds than we normally did. I would never recommend this company with the lack of training, turnovers and service, especially for homeowners with GeoZoysia! Since we have canceled, our lawn is starting to grow, is greener, and recovering from TruGreens service...Lawnifi is the way to go!

My yard is better than it was but it has a long way to go. I still have weeds that have not died even though I have been using TruGreen for months. I have bare patches where grass and weeds were killed. When I started I thought I had purchased everything I needed but every couple of weeks I would get a call suggesting I buy one thing after another. I did purchase quite a few more services and then asked to be put on the do not call list . My front yard is looking nice but still has a few bare patches. All in all my yard is much better than it was but not as good as I had hoped.

Trugreen lawn care in Pensacola, great work good people

My experience with Trugreen has not been a good one. A month after resodding my yard with St. Augustine I noticed a few dollar weed sprouting. Since I spent considerable time removing the old grass, prepping and conditioning the soil and tilling and weeding and leveling not to mention money I wanted a professional service to help with any weed control and lawn care. Contacted Trugreen and was told they could eliminate the dollarweed and any other weed that would grow in a few applications since the lawn is new. Started their service in July of 2017 and it is now the mid March of 2018. Not only is the dollarweed thriving but my grass is also thinning out. Contacted the company multiple times within that time voicing my concerns about the weeds growing and the grass declining. The customer service sucks! They were suppose to do a soil sample test in Nov. last year which I later found out it was never done. Service tech are suppose knock on the door when they arrive to service the lawn, they dont. Talked to customer service once and said i wanted to talk to a manager before the next service on my lawn. Was told what day he would be out to talk with me. Arranged the day off from work to talk with the manager. He never showed. Instead, I was woke up by my dogs barking. Looked outside and it was the service tech finishing the service I didnt want at 7:30 in the morning. They spend about 5-10 minutes doing whatever they do and charge me 50 dollars per service. Now I have a lawn full of dollarweed and other weeds. Sure feels like I screwed. Trugreen, YOUR FIRED

This is a complaint for the Pensacola office. They erroneously started two accounts under both my husband and myself. We were quoted just over $500 for the lawn only because we only have one tree. I authorized the prepayment of that amount that day but it was never put into effect. Instead they decided to not only auto pay but added tree and shrubs to the account without my knowledge. After 5 calls to customer service and the local store and they finally combined both accounts and payments and quoted an additional $530 to complete this years service which we have already paid over $200 into it. Not only that but they have added services without consent. Even after paying $500 for plugs my yard is more of a desert. They have killed the grass and the weeds have flourished. This is unacceptable for a lawn care service. Below is the aftermath of their negligence.

This company manged to ruin our new lawn. Theyre money hungry and sold us procedures and treatments which killed our grass. The people working for them have no knowledge about lawn care. After I cancelled they have the audacity to constantly send us invitations for their service. Before their service we had the best lawn in the neighborhood and now its an eyesore.

I ve had a horrible experience with TruGreen! I hate writing reviews but I m making an exception. I called the company customer service to start service. I specifically asked if they could treat my yard for sand spurs and they told me they could. They told me it would take 10-14 days to kill the weeds and that the work was guaranteed. If any weeds remained, they would come re-spray the yard at no additional cost. The cost for the first treatment would be $46.42 with a promotional discount. Each additional treatment would be around $70 (I forgot the exact amount) and would be done every 4-6 weeks. The technician came out from the local trugreen location and treated the yard. I drove up while they were spraying. After treating the yard, he gave me an assessment of what he thought the yard needed. I told him I only cared about the short-term goal of eliminating the sand spurs. He told me that they couldn t do it! I appreciated his honesty and he seemed knowledgeable and polite. I then called the corporate customer service number again to complain about not being given accurate information. They referred me to the local provider. The manager called me back the same day and said that he would credit my account and cancel the agreement. The following day, I was charged $120.00!! They charged me for the weed treatment that didn t do what they originally said it would, plus an insect treatment that I never ordered! When I saw the charge deducted from my account, I called customer service again and they said they could only refund part of the charge! I will not use this company many again and I recommend you don t either.

TruGreen has been a huge disappointment. They have double charged when they have debuted my account and upon review of the service on our security cameras rarely cover our entire yard. When we have called back for resprays they have charged our card a second time. If you have them come out watch your service in entirety and ensure that you watch your account if you have it setup for auto draft. Severely disappointed in this service and the lack of availability to reach them when there is a problem.

Absolutely horrible. After spending a couple hundred dollars I saw zero improvement. The guy that actually came out to the house was nice but the customer service on the phone was horrible. I stated I want to cancel my service no exceptions , the person on the phone was unbelievably pushy and refused to take no for an answer . Unfortunately had to get quite unpleasant and assertive on the phone to finally get her to cancel the service. One these people get you to sign up, it is very difficult to cancel and very unpleasant. You will also be Spammed constantly and they send them emails from a different numerical email address every time so it is impossible to have it filtered to junk . Never again. Just go to Lowe s and do it yourself or hire a local landscaper.

Solicititing without a permit is ilegal in Pensacola. Also you have 3 BAD phone nubers on maps. I have called the Pensacola Police

We hired TrueGreen to treat trees and shrubbery in our front yard for fungus that was slowly taking over. After about 6 months worth of application I called because there didnt seem to be any improvement. Eventually they sent out a supervisor who let me know that it was lichen growing on the trees and shrubs and that there was nothing they could do to kill it. Sure would have been nice to know before paying for 6 months worth of services that were absolutely worthless!

Using TruGreen had to be one of the worst consumer experiences of my life; and thats saying a lot given that I am 65 years old. I asked repeatedly for them to have the technicians call me and never once did they. When I got fed up and tried to cancel my service the representative refused to accept my cancellation until she forced me to scream and curse at her. Unbelievable; and of course, later when they sent me the final bill and I asked for an accounting. No such luck. The worst!

Michael Obrien has been servicing my lawn for over 3 years. He consistently provides quality care and friendly service. He is always willing to talk with me about any questions I have regarding lawn care. He is fast, efficient and thorough. His advice (and the Trugreen services) have enabled my lawn to consistently be one of the best lawns in the neighborhood.

Absolutely pathetic business practices! Signed up for mosquito guard month to month. Was charged the whole $427.00. Then the appointment was scheduled... no one showed up. No phone call to reschedule or cancel. Was refused a supervisor two days in a row. Scheduled a call back.... never recieved one! But i did recieve a call to upsale services on my yard. Its really sad when a company cant even stick to their own schedule let alone not even have the common decency to call and reschedule. I would definitely avoid this company at all cost! There are much better companies out there in our area who provide quality service.

Lawn looks good. We have had a lot olf rain. The specialist assigned to my lawn is very conscientious, helpful, and always providing suggestions. He is great to work with. I asked him to concentrate on a small section of the lawn and the results were very good.He knows hisstuff, Ozs does.

Overall very happy with the service. I did have to write to the company to complain about the calls Ive gotten about mosquito treatment----a second attempt to get me to sign up after I was already signed up and had had two treatments. Corporate did call and resolve the matter to my satisfaction. The technician who called in the situation always helped work things out.

Completely unsatisfied. Have them come out and spray the weeds but the only thing that died whats the grass . Tried to cancel the service couple of times and continued to receive bills. Now I have moved out of the house and into a new home. But still continue to receive bills after service was canceled. Problem is the grass is still dead and the weeds are still there. I would not use this company. One more thing to add. I also had to cancel my automatic credit card transactions because they were charging me for things I didnt ask for or want.

The staff are very courteous and professional. So far I have followed the advice of my specialist in terms of what package would best suit my property - initially and in year two. We have seen a major turnaround from dry patchy grass, to a thicker healthier greener lawn with much less weeds. It has been excellent value and the work is well done. The team members are very efficient and helpful if we need reminders to unlock gates or if they have to come back on another day.

Our lawn looks great. We are always notified when a technician is coming to service our lawn, and also on the rare occasions when they cant make it (usually because of weather). Their service has made our yard one of the most attractive in the neighborhood. I highly recommend them.

We were very happy to see a sign on the lawn across the street that True Gredn serviced Orange Beach, AL. True Green has been in the business for many years and has been used by my family in other states. When we moved into our new home with new sod, there was only one company I trusted to help us get it rooted and to make it beautiful and safe for my family (children and pets). On our first visit I was extremely pleased with the technician.

I am reviewing true green base on customer service not services done into my lawn. I called them last year to do aeration of my lawn. I had to cancel it because I had to leave out of town and scheduling did not work. Since then, true green ahs my number and calls me EVERYDAY! different people. Different sales person selling their services. Its beyond annoying. I pleaded over and over to remove me from their call list and its still happening! Its almost over a year now. Yes! i need lawn care and I would like to get a professional to work on my lawn. Would I hire True Green? NEVER! its annoying! I hired a company in my virginia beach property and I talk to them once when I set up my account. I have been with them for several years but they never harassed me. They email me a treatment plan and I approve or deny it. They send me pictures of improvement of their work. My tenant are always happy. Why would I hire true green when they do cold calls consistently. This just tells me that they are desperate and they need more clientele to survive or they pay commision for sales team. That can only mean more $$ to the paying for customer. True Green, TAKE ME OFF YOUR cold call list.

They came back for a respray...very nice & polite. I did take my weed to the extension office to find out what it is. They told me what it was and how TruGreen should handle it. I have instructions to give them next time

TOTALLY KILLED MY LAWN!!!! I had centipede grass. They used wrong fertilizer (?). Overnight its dead. Resoded with Bermuda. Now my lawn is fighting between grass. They have done NOTHING to correct the problem. Husband was deployed when we started. He came home to the worst lawn in the neighborhood. Thanks for your service. KILLED MY LAWN!!!!! Husband was deployed we depended on Trugreen to maintain our lawn during his absence They put something down that destroyed our centipede lawn. Tried to correct it and seeded with Bermuda Now the lawn is fighting itself. Many many many weeds. We just now stopped the service. My husband said that was a fine thank you for his service. Trugreen doesnt even care. They got their money and then some. Sometimes they were only outside for a couple a minutes. $70 I told a tech our lawn looked horrific and HE SUGGESTED WE SOD!!! It was THEIR (admitted) fault SHAME ON YOU

Although I have not had any interaction with the Trugreen lawn specialists in person, I do receive automated reminder calls informing me of scheduled treatments. As well, a brief report of actions taken is left on the front door handle. Since its mid-Spring, and weve had ample rainfall so far, my lawn is lush and mostly weed free. There are some areas where crabgrass is abundant, but it likely requires specialized treatment. That and dalliss grass are beasts to fully eradicate. Note, i dont have irrigation, so once the heat wave hits, I spot water my trees to ensure they remain healthy and occasionally soak the lawn. <br />I do not receive Trugreen treatment on the back lawn as I have two terrier dogs who eat plenty of grass and weeds. I believe the annual aeration and weed/feed treatments have greatly improved the appearance of our front lawn though. My wife and I decided to use Trugreen because we expect to buy a new home within the next 12 months and likewise, sell our current home. We think a weed free, green lawn will boost curb appeal and help us sell quickly.

My TRUGREEN specialist, Mike Obrien, is the consummate lawn expert. My lawn was overexposed in the early spring to a weed prevention treatment. As a result at least 70 percent of my lawn was destroyed. I contacted TRUGREEN for help. To make a long story shorter Mike worked diligently to help bring my lawn back. He even brought out plugs on several occasions. I would estimate that by fall my lawn was back to 90 percent and steadily improving. I was almost certain I was going to have to sod my entire lawn again but that wasnt the case thanks to my TRUGREEN specialist Mike Obrien.

Their salesmen are absolutely obnoxious! Twice now I have been approached and immediately put on the defensive by their approach, where they ask me what are you doing about the dead patches in your lawn? etc. Immediately being confrontational, instead of telling me of their services and what they can do for me, does not make me want to hire them. Maybe being confronted and put on the defense works with some people, but not with me - I simply want to tell them to get off my property and learn some manners with the people they hope to serve.

Jamie and an associate came by my home one afternoon when I was home sick from work and not fit for company. The ONLY reason I opened the door was because my children were coming in as she came up, and were stopped by them asking to speak to their parent. I opened the door and quickly let them know that I do NOT own my home, I am the renter and therefore have little control over what is done to my lawn. Jamie immediately started asking questions about who was in charge and what they were doing to it, and did I see how terrible my lawn was? I shook my head and said again, Im not in charge of this lawn. She seemed to get extremely defensive and said Why are you BEING like this?? Im just trying to help you and this extremely sad lawn. I received a note in my mailbox from her as well, noting the weeds and thin spots but you can be sure I WILL pass on my experience with my owner, and let her know there are other options to getting this lawn into shape. BTW, I live in a no soliciting neighborhood.
