Upon moving into our home in Pace, we laid twelve pallets of St Augustine/ Centipede mix sod on the lawn and were very satisfied with the lawn’s condition at the time. About two and a half years later, Lawn Master was hired for weed and insect control and began servicing our lawn on 10 May 2023 (about 17,000 sq ft), including fertilizer, insecticide, and weed control. Lawn Master applied treatments at two-month intervals. Lawn Master did not advise they could only control a limited type of weeds and insects. In the Spring of 2024, excessive weed growth was noted, and Lawn Master made five treatments that failed to eliminate weeds but severely damaged the lawn. On 7 June, Lawn Master's technician (Jeff) misdiagnosed an insect infestation that added to the lawn damage. On 15 July, Lawn Master was called and asked Cindy to have the owner or manager call us about the terrible condition of our lawn. The owner did not call. Later that week, an email was sent to a co-owner, Scott, requesting a call from him or a manager regarding our lawn. On 22 July we contacted Cindy again and she said she would have Jeff Wells call that afternoon. Jeff called and came to the house the following morning to assess the lawn’s condition. Jeff acknowledged the poor condition of our lawn but was guarded and appreciated we had yet to make our disappointment public. Co-owner Jeff Williams called at 3:29 on 25 July and told my wife that she had failed to contact Lawn Master regarding any problems with our lawn. All damage to our lawn was our responsibility, not theirs! At that time, Lawn Master service was terminated. Since then, we have purchased insecticide and began treating the lawn; we also bought some sod. Several days have been spent pulling multiple wheelbarrows of weeds that are out of control. After fifteen months of trusting Lawn Master to control our once lush green lawn, it is in worse condition than when they started service. We will soon need large quantities of sod to repair lawn damages from Lawn Master’s negligence. We complained of our horrible experience with Lawn Master with the Pensacola BBB. (I was shocked they have maintained an A+ BBB rating for over 20 years.) Ten days later, Lawn Master responded and claimed we refused additional treatments. We did not. They said they were not responsible for the condition of our lawn. We know we are accountable, but we have paid them over $600 for their “services.” Obviously, they can’t control weeds or insects despite several calls to them for action. The weather may have played a role in what they could do but overall, we are very dissatisfied with the service Lawn Master provided and cannot in good faith promote or endorse this company to our neighbors. We believe, in our circumstance, Lawn Master was negligent. BUYERS BEWARE.
Do not use this company, absolute waste of money! Have been using the company for years and started with a nice yard filled with beautiful Sod. Over the years using their treatments my yard is now dead and looks like one of the worst in the neighborhood. When I called and asked why it looks so bad after they come out every 6-8 weeks the person on the phone said because I don’t call and tell them my lawn looks bad. The person actually just argued with me and told me this is my fault. I asked why they don’t address it while they are there every 6-8 weeks and they said it’s not their job. It’s the home owners job to inform the lawn masters that the lawn looks bad and request additional services. For the price you pay they do next to nothing except spray a small and very ineffective treatment on the grass every 6-8 weeks and will not do anything above that unless you call and complain everytime the treatment is ineffective. Don’t know how hard it would be to train the employees that are servicing the yard who are supposed to be the professionals and the subject matter experts to provide the client with advice when they see problems. Instead they let your lawn die and blame you the owner for not saying anything. Please change the name of this compmay cause you are far from lawn masters. We had the service for two years and our lawn actually looks worse now. I’m not sure what they did for the money we paid, but it wasn’t worth it The people who work for the company are very nice, but the service is ineffective. A total waste of money.
So it’s been two weeks since I called to get a quote for my lawn. It’s been 3 weeks since I started trying to get a quote via there website contact us form to when I talk to him two weeks ago they told me oh we never saw it. She said they would be out the same week and they would leave a door hanger. I have yet to see anyone come out there’s not been a single door hanger and instead of telling me that they would not like to do the yard or come out, they have now wasted my time. Do not try this company as they don’t wish be upfront about doing Business
Would like to say been using them for over 6 years now. Service was good. Got sent a collection letter for 56 dollars. Not one call to let. Me know anything was going on cause I never saw them ever do the treatment since I work during the day.you are a local Company pick up the phone! Got them on the phone and the lady answering the phone call didn’t like when I brought this up and started having an attitude and hung up on me when I returned the same attitude. She didn’t like when I called back and cited the statutes on having to provide payment confirmation and forced her to give Me one. Used to recommend them that is now done. Will tell EVERYONE about this.
We used them about 5 years back. They killed a 10x10 area of St Augustine grass with too much chemical. When I complained they promised to fix it in a few months with new sod. When I called back a few months later they acted like they knew nothing about my issue and since I canceled with them for messing up my beautiful lawn, they decided it wasn’t worth it. The service and results were subpar. Disappointing customer service. My lawn has never fully recovered.
Paid for their service in advance for the entire year. Completed 2 treatments in April (Early Spring & Mole Cricket). After calling twice they showed back up in July and completed 2 more (Spring and Late Spring). Note that this was July. I was given the customary apology and we're shorthanded. I let it slide. Now mid-September and 1 week from the start of fall, and still waiting for the Summer and Late Summer treatments. My yard is a complete disaster as I now have sod web worms and what ever is left that the worms didn't kill, is thriving with weeds anyhow. Given my money back for the remaining treatments and the customary apology again and we're shorthanded. Thanks Lawn Disaster, I mean Master.
We have been using them for over a year now. They turned our lawn around. We want from a weed infested lawn to something that could rival a golf course. The guys that come out to spray are extremely knowledgeable. If you pay for the yearly rate it is a much better deal. We will continue to use these guys.

They are terrible. They have been servicing our lawn for a few years. We are losing all of our St. Augustine grass because of the weeds. I would say we have lost 50% of our grass. They can see it as easy as I can but do nothing about it. They will be fired if the weeds do not disappear this spring. And no..I did not use my real name.
A Lawn master truck threw garbage out of their window.jusrt the other day a lawmaster truck was driving down kipling and threw his fast food garbage out in the street.As someone who lives in the surrounding area making this area my neighborhood I was appalled and disgusted. littered our streets from a company vehicle. shows a total lack of care.
I was cutting trees in the backyard when your employee, Kyle showed up. He helped me move a LOT of heavy limbs out of the way so that he could spray our yard. I am absolutely amazed at his work ethic. Thank you Kyle!
We have had our Lawn Master Service for many years. Service..or expertise were never exceptional with this company! It was obvious it NEVER WOULD be! We continued our relationship due to the inconvenience of interviewing other companies. We travel abroad, so time is a real issue. As our professional relationship continued, the service went from below average to HORRIBLE! . We lost many shrubs to invasive pest and diseases. The weeds in the grass continued to worsen also. Upon numerous times of calling Lawn Master in regards to the situation, nothing EVER changed. At times, it would take up to three weeks to get someone out to retreat. After addressing these issues with the office manager on many occasions, there was ALWAYS an excuse. Someone quit, someone s on vacation, someone s sick.....on and on! Their attitude of problem solving is unbelievable! If you require..... or start demanding, professional, accurate, reliable service that s when they really get ugly! We have been trying to get them back to our home for the past sixteen days. After replacing all the shrubs we lost do to lack of care from their company from previous service, we now have the same issues. Pest/disease on our shrubs. The weeds in the grass NEVER get resolved . I called the office yesterday and told the staff my concern. Their attitude was...and always has been....IF YOU RE NOT HAPPY FIND SOMEONE ELSE!! No concern in regards to making it right!! PLEASE....Don t get caught up in their sales pitch!! These folks are far from professionals!! They ARE NOT PROBLEM SOLVERS!! If you require nothing but their physical presence when It s time for their scheduled yard maintenance visits...then go for it! They will be right there to collect from you. If you require additional service in between maintenance visits....STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE FOLKS AS POSSIBLE!! YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR YARD!!
My front lawn looks awful...my lawn was put in just 3 years ago and they have been treating it from the beginning...dead spots everywhere. Called to cancel and was chastised by the woman on the phone not calling them for free service call. Couldn t the guy who does the regular treatments see the problem on a regular call? Apparently had to make a special call to tell them my grass is dying they cannot see that for themselves. Anyway going to try Father & Son instead...I suggest you do to!

Absolutely awful! In two years my lawn has gone from decent to totally weed infested. Usually I am not home when Lawn Masters supposedly sprays our lawn. Today I was home and the worker was here less than ten minutes, sorayed nothing, and left a bill. The only reason it got one star is because zero stats wasnt an option.

Giving them a one is almost to much! I have used them for almost two years and my weeds were getting worse. Pete was great at coming out to check, but it was always the same song. And dance, but no real solutions. Pete said I had centipede decline, after having my soil tested , it has been over fertilized . How can one solution work on all types of grasses, as they have different requirements .All said, I would not recomand them!

A customer for 20 years using Lawn Master and this year after repeated weed control treatments on my back yard it dies approximately 90% of the yard or 25 pallets worth or $8000. We called them immediately as I saw the yard turning after a repeated visit for weed control visit and was ignored for 5 days. After a second heated call letting them know that shortly I would have no back yard they responded,it was to late. They refuse to help believing they did nothing wrong or at least wanting to. After visits from multiple other lawn services it is pretty evident something in fact was done wrong. THE OWNER refuses to help in any fashion. Yes legal action may be pending and will change companies. DO NOT USE LAWN MASTER, 20 years approximately $1000 per year with our small 2nd home also and this is the treatment. Very cold owner even after his professional from Florida state tells us that something was sprayed on the grass and surely not likely the homeowner could have done it. POOR SERVICE,DAMAGE YARD TO THE TUNE OF $8000. AND JUST PLAIN MEAN PERSON.

Lawn Master is one of the local companies with which no one else can compete. They were the only choice for us when it came to taking care of our lawn. When I see their trucks going down the street it makes me smile. If you are tired of being chemist and spending 50 bucks a month on Scotts products give that money to Lawn Master and let them take care of it. They rock!
