Temple Beth El in Pensacola has used Wallace for its landscaping and irrigation maintenance. They have done a great job keeping their facilities looking good. If there ever a concern they are responsive in addressing the problem.

Filled out the online form for a call back and quote for a paver patio. Never got a call back. Then called their office and spoke with Barbara who told me Matt would call me back and set up a time for a quote. No call back . Business must be good moving on to the next one

They have no respect for their customers. They are constantly running late for their appointments. They will use profanity language while working in your yard. They do not know how to manage their time efficiently and seem to have difficulty with simple tasks. They lack in communicating with their customers by leaving out information or calling to let the customers know when they will be late. Overall they are an awful company to do business with. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

The Wallace Company fixed our sprinkler system and we couldnt be happier with their service - very responsive and professional. In addition to having our sprinkler system fixed, we also got some landscaping lights which look absolutely awesome! Pat came by to do a quick demo of the lights and in the following week Martin and Shawn installed them for us - super clean and efficient work... We definitely recommend these guys!

Their guarantee is not worth the paper its written on!!! We had nearly a $35,000 landscaping job that included revamping the irrigation system, Lighting, and new sod. The sod in the backyard did horribly, always a yellow, green appearance --and I was told repeatedly give it time, which I did. I also invested in their Lawn Maintenance Service from the start so that I could do my best to help the lawn thrive. It never did. They did send different guys out early on to investigate, but never fixed the problem--the grass still looks half dead in the backyard. I repeatedly tried to have this addressed, emailed repeatedly, with no response other than seeing that later, the lawn maintenance team would show up and do a treatment. (Which of course, I paid for). A year and a half later they finally did a soil sample and realized it needed a ton of lime, which they placed, and it has improved the situation, although the backyard has plenty of dead areas and wont likely recover. We feel it simply was not properly prepared, did not thrive, and need to be resodded. Communication with this company is terrible; the right hand does not seem to know what the left hand is doing, you always get the runaround about which person to talk to, and meet plenty of people - none of whom are in charge and can do anything about the issue. I spoke with the ladies that answer the telephone on numerous occasions, requesting a meeting with Mr. Wallace, (or Vic or Victor) and also sent an email with this request. This never occurred, and when I made one final effort to have them rectify the problem, with pictures and email again, I was only to be told by one of the phone ladies that Mr. Wallace said I needed to renew my maintenance contract before they would come back out to look at it-now at over TWICE the initial cost from the previous year. I waited a long time before placing this review, and gave them many opportunities to rectify the problem with the sodding, but now I am speaking out. To be clear, my only complaint is the sod that was placed and never thrived, and they never fixed the problem, and in our view, it needed to be replaced. The irrigation system, and the lighting have been perfect and I was very happy with those. If I could review them separately, I would give them five stars. Anyway-- dont expect customer service or communication from this company. And if they place your sod and the sod does not do well, too bad, your loss. At least that was our experience with The Wallace Company.

Pat Baril is outstanding! He has been in the business for over 30 years and has seen it all. If you need an Irrigation system or help with your landscaping project, give him a call.

Was driving and had a Wallace van cut me off, no blinker, swerving erratically and literally driving the center of a two lane road. Think Ill stick to moving my own lawn instead of putting people on the road at risk.

Wallace was quite possibly the worst nightmare in landscaping experiences. I will start by saying that the crew that did our retaining wall was great, they had good communication and did a nice job. However the rest of the job and the management was a disaster. No communication, I had to keep hounding to get any information on a start date. They kept promising me they would update me the next day and never called back. They left trash at the end of each work day and at one point the project just stopped for almost 2 weeks with palms and brick just piled up in my yard killing my grass. The final straw was that they drove their Cat off the side of my driveway by my irrigation ditch and broke about a 4x1.5 chunk of of my driveway. When I showed the management they said they werent liable for any damage and then proceeded to joke about how I could hire them to do a paver driveway to replace my now cracked driveway. At least the crew got a good laugh as I fumed at my sad broken driveway. Everything took way longer than it should (even in these current conditions), the plants/landscaping design they suggested ended up being pretty bad now that theyve had time to grow in. Non-existent communication, damaged property...all for top dollar. Just stay away, there are plenty of hard working smaller businesses that will actually care about you.

Sean (maybe Shaun) and Kurt showed up as scheduled, were professional, polite, knew what they were doing, fast, and on and on. First rate and they resolved all of our concerns.

Friendly staff to say the least. Owner is very polite and from what I hear he cares about his employees. Hands down the best place to go for all your landscape,hardscape,lawn maintenance and irrigation needs. Thank you Wallace Company for an outstanding experience that was not expected.

We were looking for a better look to upgrade our landscaping Pat came out did an assessment and recommended a lighting design that would fit our home. The work was done promptly and perfectly. I met with Scott from the Wallace Co. on Feb 26th. We discussed a $10000 job to include a small patio and some landscaping. He took a copy of the plot plan and said he would get back to us in a couple of weeks with a price and design. I called three weeks later and he assured me he was working on my quote. I called again and he agreed to meet us on March 23rd. Scott did not show up or call and I have not heard from him. I just wish they told us in the first place they didnt want the job, we lost a full month.

Pat Baril in his associates have been helping me take care of my well, gardening, watering system, for over 6 years. And to tell the truth, Im retired and gardening is about all the fun that Im having nowadays. They are true professionals and strive to do the best job possible and very reasonable prices. I doubt if you can find any company better in the Pensacola area!

The Wallace company did an amazing job with a complete re-landscape job including hardscape and all new plants. Mike came up with a wonderful plan and Matt did a nice job with the logistics. They worked in a professional and timely manner, and most of our concerns were handled very quickly. We did have some issues related to communication between their own personnel, which resulted in a couple of mistakes. However those were corrected without any hassle. Now we love being outside in our yard again, and are enjoying all the wonderful comments from our neighbors.

We recently used the Wallace Company to install an irrigation system at our home. The process, from start to finish, was professional and expertly installed. We were impressed with the knowledge of the installation team: John, Nick & Cody. They worked quickly and made adjustments as needed. We had worried that our lawn would be an eyesore after the install; so we were particularly impressed with the attention they gave to putting our lawn back together so that it looked great. The crew accomplished all this in extreme heat conditions that were making national headlines. Weve had one small issue with a sprinkler head; and John was quick to respond and correct the problem. This company and its employees are everything you hope a contractor will be: reasonably priced, quality work and great customer service after the fact.

Weve been customers of Wallace Company for over two years for residential lawn service and recently had a new irrigation system put in with new sod to follow. I cant say enough about the professionalism and great service weve received on all fronts. Lawn crews and staff are very responsive to ensuring needs are met. Even when we had an incident of accidental damage to our fence during regular lawn maintenance, they were quick to take ownership and make it right. Pricing is middle of the road and very fair (not the cheapest, not the most expensive), and their customer service has been outstanding.

This company out performs all others in irrigation and most others in every other aspect of home owning. Great service from the Wallace Company. This is the second time Ive used them in the last 20 years. Pat Baril was an exceptional sales/customer service rep and Kevin as the foreman for the installation team was outstanding. Both of them were eager to answer any questions. They subcontracted the well installation to Johnson Well Drilling, which was also good...and the 105 well only took about 6 hours. Wallace was very professional and responsive.

Contacted Wallace Co. to repair existing outdoor lights and install new landscape lighting. Showed up quickly. Communicate well from office to field. Prices for lights/labor/service in line with other service providers from what I can tell. Overall a very good experience. Will definitely continue to use them.

I recently had a lightning storm that knocked out my sprinkler system control panel. I called around to various companies and most couldn t get to me for at least two weeks. I couldn t wait two weeks having to use an Oscillator trying to cover an acre and a half of land in the middle of summer. I called the Wallace Company, from the beginning they were very helpful and wanted to help. Pat and his crew came out to my house in a timely manner, trouble shot the problem, and fixed it within 24 hours. I highly recommend this company and they have my loyalty for as long as I live in the area.

Id love to give them more stars as I thought from the moment we spoke they knew what they were talking about and were very polite, professional and thorough. However the response time on getting my quote options back to me have been extremely slow. It takes a week or longer to get responses to my questions. Ive never delt with people not getting back to customers about spending money. We just want sod quotes and date availability for installation.

Stanley and Jason were fantastic. They came out sooner than expected, diagnosed the problems (there were several) quickly and had it fixed in no time. Great company that doesn t price gouge. Stanley is professional and clearly knows what he s doing; these guys will be my go to for any future needs with my sprinkler system.

I cant comment on the work they do because I cant even get to that point. I made appt to get an estimate and they did not show up. I called and Scott apologized and requested to reschedule. I did and then we met and walked my yard to discuss what I wanted. He said he would get back to me. That was at least a month ago. I guess they dont want my business. Very disappointed.

Seems this company uses its past reputation to rip off unwary customers. 2 years ago they quoted me $1200 to replace a sprinkler pump. Quoting their discount price of $850 for the pump. I ended up buying the exact pump for $342 on Amazon and installing myself. Remembering their fair prices and good workmanship from 25 years ago, I decided to give them one more try...Recently, the $1000 quote received for a $300 smart sprinkler installation included 3 generally worded sentences with incorrect or no part numbers specified. Asked for detailed quote with adding a zone with pre-existing plumbing and sprinklers and a line up to some deck plants. I got the same quote with an added (non-detailed) sentence adding another $1200 to the $1000 already quoted. Asked (again) for a detailed quote with addition of a $100 inline flow meter including part number. Revised quote was exactly the same as others but included additional $350 for the meter. Now they want $2750... 8 times the DIY price ...and possibly with cheap replacements since they wont specify model or part numbers! When queried again about detailed quote and $250 for 15 minute labor charged, I was emailed: Were not interested in your system anymore. Sorry for the inconvenience. Evidently, Wallace now hides their ridiculously bloated or inexplicable charges with vagary and deceit. Sad to see another local company go this direction.

The experience was great! From getting right back to us with a visit and a quote and working with us for a price within our budget we were extremely pleased. Not to mention the installers were very professional and Pat reached out to us after installation to make sure we were happy. Pat even came out (after dark) and adjusted our lights to make sure our property looked its very best. The price was very reasonable for the work we had done (complete front and back redo). Thanks so much to Pat, the team and the Wallace Company for helping us out!

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience working with Pat. Not only did he make recommendations for lighting, he brought the fixtures to our home and showed us how it would look. He is very responsive, always on time, and follows through with all of the details to ensure a perfect job. His crew works hard to get the project completed, and when we ran into an issue, they quickly corrected another companys error and finished the job. I highly recommend contacting Wallace, and should we ever need additional irrigation or lighting needs we will certainly would call them first.

Brian did an outstanding irrigation job for me yesterday after my pool installation earlier this year. I have a full acre. He tuned up my front yard and did a brand new install in my back yard. Excellent work all around. Installed new clock, ran me through each zone. Reviewed programming. And went over and above the call in all areas. On top of that his prices were ultra competitive. YOU CAN NOT DO BETTER THAN BRIAN!!!

Not satisfied with Wallace Sprinkler Inc. called and set an appointment for a technician to come to my residence, the lady set the appointment for the next day and gave me 1;00pm to 6:00pm window, not one showed and no phone call. i called today and she was not at all concerned about this issue. She stated she would call back and now 4 hours later no call. I wouldnt recommend this company for anything, if this is the way they treat there customers. And as far as their receptionist, she should find another job, she isnt pleasant at all as a customer service representative. Billy

Had a good experience with The Wallace Company during the HUGE public landscaping project on Via de Luna on Pensacola Beach. Courteous crews where glad to explain what they were up to to residents and passersby.

After Wallace Sprinkler Inc had set up a spinkler system on my property I called them last Thursday for some needed service to my control box that was not working correctly, a leakage of a sprinkler head and low spraying coming off 3 or so other heads. The office clerk gave me the field reps number who I called and actually spoke with. He said he had another service call in my area the following Thursday and would be over in the morning so I took that day off to be there. I then called the day before Wednesday to confirm him still coming but now the Field Rep did not answer his phone or return my call after leaving a voice msg. The next morning I called him about 8am but he never did answer his phone or show up. I stopped by their office later that morning about 10:30 to find out why this had happened but the office clerk said the owner and the field rep could not be reached nor have either of them contacted me since. Im left to believe that theyll come out and set up a spinkler system for the BIG payoff but not to be bothered with any needed maintenance afterwards. Live and Learn
