The company has grown too large for their own good. The left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. They missed their aeration and over-seeding appointment by 5 days (without any contact/communication, I might add). The fertilizing technician, not knowing this, came a few days later and killed all the new seedlings with their weed control. Re-doing it doesnt solve the issue. Autumn leaves are falling and covering the new seeds. EVERY attempt at speaking to a manager has come up short. Ive left voicemales, talked to the technicians, etc. I just want my $ back.

We have had Greenlawn since we put in a pool and our grass and back yard were just a total dirt mess. They are now very conscientious about not spraying chemicals too close to the pool that could cause an issue with our chemical balancing. They always knock and make sure we know to not let my kids or dog out back for X amount of time. Very friendly too. Lawn still has some weeds but I guess just is a constant battle.. overall very satisfied.

This company is terrible, and their customer service and policies are even worse. We had an issue with the extremely late (and SUPER expensive) aeration and seeding last fall, which was done way too late in the season, without our permission, and at possibly the MOST inopportune day of the entire year (Oct 30, the day before a billion kids trample all over the lawn.) Customer service informed me that if the seeding doesnt take that they would come back in the spring and re-seed for no charge. Well, that is WAY easier said than done. When I finally got in touch with customer service in the spring (they do not answer emails, and only sometimes answer their phone) the representative informed me that they wouldnt be able to re-seed until AFTER we paid for the first two fertilizer treatments of the year, to wake up and jumpstart the lawn. Seriously? I have to pay TWICE MORE to get my no-charge makeup seeding?? Okay, fine. She ensured me that the re-seed would still be done in early spring (March/April) and we would certainly not have to wait until May, which was my concern. But... after receiving (and paying for) the two treatments, they still did not come to re-seed, and then it was May. Calling again got me to the same snarky representative that I had talked to previously, who was now impatient with me and insisted that they would still come out to do it, and that I would be contacted soon. But, still nothing. I finally called again and got a very nice person this time, who said that while she could not give me an exact date, she would definitely add me to the schedule. Imagine my surprise when a guy showed up yesterday telling me he is here to fertilize the lawn. I said NO absolutely not, they were supposed to come aerate and seed again, and I am not paying for any more treatments until they do so. The poor guy got on the phone and suddenly we had an appointment for the very next day (today.) He then asked if he could continue with the fertilizer treatment. Absolutely not. He left in a huff. So today they came to aerate and re-seed, but they had neglected to tell us that we needed to either have the sprinkler system started so that they could mark out the sprinkler heads - or mark them ourselves. Um. The water wasnt even turned on yet to the system (in the crawlspace under the house), my husband was at work, and I needed to leave right then for an appointment. I told him to just mark them as best he could and proceed. So we finally got our free re-seeding after being required to pay for over $200 in additional services FIRST. I have no idea if it will actually grow any grass, but I plan to cancel the service TODAY. I get the feeling that wont be easy either. Dont ever work with Green Lawn Fertilizing.

The most recent application was done just before or just after a very heavy rainstorm. I called and asked to have it redone because of it being a liquid application I feared it would be neutralized or completely ineffective, if it was so diluted or completely washed away by the rain. The answer I got was to walk the lawn and look for dead or dying weeds, of which I know nothing about, and I guess Ill have to trust the fertilizer stayed or was waterproof. Felt like I was blown off and I hope they get my point about not putting any liquid products down during the rain storm, its like your grass guy cutting when it is soaking wet. We will see how the rest of the season turns out.

I have been a Green Lawn Fertilizing Customer for a number of years (I started because I nearly lost my lawn to crabgrass) and I love my lawn. Even my neighbors love my lawn. The neighbors were standing on it taking with me one afternoon and even remarked how thick and soft it was. I work in the service industry myself, so I know what amazing service is supposed to look like, and Tristan has been delivering that all season long. Tristan has been my technician this season, and he is awesome. He explains what he is doing, and everything that I need to be aware of. I know he cares, and shows pride in a job well done. Because of Tristan (and every one else who as serviced my turf in previous seasons) I have recommended you to my friends and family whenever I can!

The customer service and sales reps are knowledgeable and friendly. Not pushy! Every one of the techs that have come to our house have been very professional and have answered all of our questions. Last year we had a bad problems with grubs. Triston explained everything we needed and what to expect to correct the issue. Besides all of that and more. Bottom line (cost) less expensive then scotts. I had scotts before. Green Lawn has put them to shame in all areas.

Since using Green Lawn Fertilizing Ive noticed my lawn has improved greatly. I will continue to use Green Lawn because my lawn looks better with each year.

I get my backyard sprayed for fleas and ticks. The application does not last the whole month and they dont come on schedule all the time. I called on Monday to get someone to come out because I have flea bites all over me. She said I was overdue for my regular application (which was obviously their fault and she blamed it on a lot of rainy days when it hadnt even been raining a lot) and she told me I was marked as a priority and someone would be out in a couple days. Friday rolls around and no one had come out. I call back and the woman tells me that they wont be out until next week now because of the holiday and gives me the same song and dance about being marked as a priority. Extremely disappointing. Update: Made multiple attempts to reach Joe, who responded to this review. Kept being told it went straight to voicemail or hes on the other line. Left messages, but my call was never returned. Clearly the response on here was to make it appear that he cares and offers good customer service, but he doesnt actually care. Also, now 10 days since I placed the initial call, my lawn is still not treated.

Mary came out today for my flea and tick Control. I was caught off guard when she knocked because i completely forgot she was coming today. She was very patient with my clearing my kids yard toys so she could get to it. Very friendly and accommodating!

Have used Green Lawn Fertilizing for several years. For many years did it myself following the Scotts easy-to-follow plan created specifically for my yard that said my yard will be the envy of the neighbors. Not true. See the pictures. Some are my yard couple of my next-door neighbors. My yard used to look like my neighbors before starting the Green Lawn Service. You can see for yourself the difference and would highly recommend the Green Lawn Fertilizing Service.

I have been using Green Lawn service for the past 2 years and not happy with their service. I also used their seeding and aeration last year. I havent seen any new grass grown from the aeration. I have mentioned about problems with the service few times but no action was taken by the company. Im very disappointed with their service and will not renew next year.

My lawn looks average. Part of the problem is the lawn care service the HOA uses where I live is leaving large clumps of grass after they cut it.
