Griffins Landscaping in Peekskill

One of their drivers rear ended me and busted up my car. NO INTEGRITY!!! They refuse to cooperate and they are nasty people.

No idea how their business is but this comment is about their bundles of firewood sold at gas stations.. I see they sell bundles of firewood at pretty much all gas stations around westchester. I probably bought 10 bundles or so through the years and the wood is always always wet. I bought the bundles on different occasions through the years thinking maybe I had a bad or unseasoned batch but Every time I buy a bundle I make sure they are under an overhang and on the bottom so no rain water gets to them but no matter what the Wood is wet and never seasoned to burn. Waste of money unless you use this wood on a very hot fire. All you hear is sizzling in the fire and moisture seeping out of the logs. Not sure how you can advertise its seasoned when it has a high moisture count. No quality control at all. Just cut wood and put it in a bundle and charge for wet wood. Pretty weak.

Our property is not fenced from deer. We specifically asked Griffins in the process of landscaping our property to take into account this fact. They disregarded our request and planted $15,000 worth of plantings the majority of which were eaten by deer in 2 months. Griffins refused to accept responsibility and we had to spend additional funds with a quality landscape company to redo the job. My recommendation is to look elsewhere. They do not stand behind their work and are not responsive to issues.

We had a some tree pruning, tree removal and stump grinding done in august. Glenn (head of Griffin Landscaping) was very responsive when we initially called all the way through to the end. His team was professional, clean and timely. I’ll be calling them for future landscaping work as needed. Thank you!

For the second time I got wood from them , couldn’t burn the wood was not seasoned, when I called the manager I have been told there is nothing they can do for me, if you smart use other landscaping company, there is plenty good one in our area, I gave him $600 for nothing

Bought 3 bundles of firewood. The wood was dry on the outside but soaked on the inside. Very clear that this wood wasn’t dried out properly/for long enough as water droplets were seeping out the bottom of the log. Wasted 5 logs trying to start a fire and 3 bundles as now I have to dry them myself. Will never use again and don’t recommend anyone else do either.

We had an amazing experience working with everyone in this company- the owner Glen came to our house during the busy summer months after only one call! He came right over the next day to give us an estimate on a variety of projects around our home. We were able to finalize our plans within the month including- cutting down and grinding tree stumps, leveling ground in our backyard, digging a drain system and connecting it to existing pipes, AND building us a huge back patio- all within a month! I got similar quotes from other companies AFTER we had already set a date for these projects. Griffin's guys were quick and thorough- the other companies snoozed on the business! I will absolutely be calling again for future projects. Thanks guys!

Called several times to set up snow plowing, call was never returned. Further called about firewood purchase and delivery, no call back. Actually glad that didn't happen because recently bought several bundles of their wood, available at local gas station and lumber yard and it's not properly seasoned, the end grain is not splintered or grayed and it doesn't burn all the way through.
