Unfortunately we can't give them a 10 starts review. DeMatos has exceeded our expectations in all phases of our project. very detailed and dedicated. when we needed to change the project they worked with us to accommodate everything we asked for into the budget. Look no further.

AMAZING design and hard working crew! Couldn’t be happier with the results for the large landscaping project for my yard. Completely transformed the space with a thoughtful, gorgeous layout of various trees, shrubs and plants. Excellent communication and planning even before project began. Absolutely would recommend and use again.
Generally dissatisfied with how this job was done and handled. Not only were these people unreliable, they were unprofessional and did a poor job. I am left with lawn full of weeds and unfinished masonry. I would under no circumstances recommend them to anyone.
We just had Al put in a patio in our backyard and it looks amazing! Al was open to our ideas, and was able to adjust expectations without compromising design. Very professional and knowledgeable. We plan on having him come back to help design out entire backyard.
From day one, Al from De Matos Landscaping was there with us. He came to our home several times to give us several estimates for a new walkway, staircase, and a tiered garden. He made scary numbers work for us and he promised us we would love the front of our home again. He was right. His team arrived at our home every day before 7 am. They worked tirelessly to get this job done. They always made sure we were happy and that they were doing quality work. If we had any issues they were fixed immediately. And when we had concerns, Al himself would come out and put our fears to rest. When it comes down to it, you take a risk whenever you hire a contractor. I am so happy I hired De Matos Landscaping. They do beautiful work and it's at a great price. I strongly recommend their services. In fact I already have another job lined up for them next year! Thank you again Al and team!
Al Matos from De Matos landscaping and his crew did a fantastic job on our backyard patio and my wife and I couldn't be happier. The whole process was very smooth. Al was professional throughout the entire process and really cared about making sure all my questions were answered. He was very responsive to our questions and he even came to our house twice before the job was started to ensure I was happy with the design and to answer any questions. His pricing is also very fair. The crew worked very hard and finished the patio on schedule even though we decided to expand the patio midway. They did a wonderful job cleaning up as well. We get unsolicited comments from everyone on how wonderful it looks from the neighbors next door, to our friends, and even our plumber! I highly recommend De Matos for any hardscape work.
Irresponsible business owners. Their crew littered our car with pock marks by blowing wet leaves and dirt at in. Now they take no responsibility and will not hand over their insurance information.
Do what you like to do and you will never work a single day in your life.

I needed a 530 sq foot patio in my backyard, plus some flower beds and a hot tub pad for a new spa coming. I called De Matos on March 11th for a quote, by March 13th Al was in my yard, giving me advice and pulling together an estimate. By March 22nd they were on the job and by March 24th the project was complete. What a dream! Al provided top level service, texting back and forth all sorts of paver shapes and flower ideas. The team showed that Monday morning with all their machinery ready to work! They cleaned up at the end of each day, so I wasn t living in chaos, which is helpful because I live in a two-unit condo and that would have impacted common areas. I can not say enough wonderful things about what an extraordinarily easy experience this was, and of course most importantly, I have a GORGEOUS patio!
First time home buyers, we had an idea of what we may have wanted but we weren t sure what would look best. DeMatos Landscaping had some great suggestions and before we knew it, there team was there bringing the ideas to fruition.
As I researched landscapers on Google I came across DeMatos Landscaping. I am so glad I did. I met with Al who is EXTREMELY easy to chat with. He actually listens and then gives great information back. We had them come and plant a tree for us and then did a beautiful cobblestone border around it. We loved there work so much, we asked them to install a walkway and do 3 different other large cobblestone areas ( 1 around an other tree, 1 on a large flower bed and he created a beautiful one inside the new walkway). Hands down, I would ABSOLUTELY without a doubt recommend DeMato Landscaping. My sister in-law just booked him for a gorgeous cobblestone project!! If you are looking to get any work done in your yard, these are the people you want. We got a patio, retaining wall and fireplace put in. They were great workers, great price and efficient. You will not be disappointed!!

DeMatos Landscaping did an amazing job landscaping my property in Hamilton, MA. He cleared trees (including removing a stump that was 3 feet deep), graded the yard, spread new loam, fertilized, and seeded my front, side, and back yard. The grass is coming in nicely after almost 2 weeks. They were very professional and I would hire them again.
