Jason and his team did an excellent job. I used them to completely change my landscaping and I couldn't be happier. The built me a wall to wrap around the landscaping which looks amazing. I was so happy I hired them a second time to build me a paver patio in my back your with wedding cake style steps coming out of my back door and included a fire pit. Again, they did a great job and I am so happy with the finished project. I highly recommend Dr. Wood if you need any similar projects completed.
Dr Wood did not disappoint. We had an entire overgrown yard, drainage issue around the foundation as well as in need of fence repair and installation. All taken care of with ease and low stress to me. I felt comfortable and trusted them to do the job correctly. Will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend you do as well!
Quick, efficient and creative. My job was different. I needed some creativity and unique design ability. Jason listened to what I wanted (railroad tie enclosure) and it came out excellent. Jason and his team are true professionals. They are quick to respond, offer great communication and are flexible and ready to help with your needs. I tried getting help from other companies before coming in contact with Jason and had trouble even getting a response from the other places. He was quick to respond and even communicated after hours and on the weekend which was very convenient with my work schedule. Jason and his crew did an amazing job cutting down my huge beech tree and trimming the other trees that needed it. They also put in a beautiful stone patio in my back yard and seeded lots of areas of my front and back yard that were bare. They were very personable and knowledgeable about the jobs that needed to be done and were very good about cleaning up all the mess after the jobs were done. 100% happy with the job they did!

We recently bought a house that landscaping was not kept up at ALL, so we used Jason and Ben with Dr Wood Landscaping who was amazing for a very fair price. We had several issues w/ lawn grading and re-trenching root-filled downspout drainage pipes. We also had to have pruning/removal of overgrown shrubs, and a Japanese Maple planted. They went well above and beyond my expectations w/ expedient quality work! I would recommend Dr Wood to anybody! They can take care of many different landscaping and arborist needs.

Although the job was delayed by rain and other customers, their work was excellent quality. Our brick retaining wall looks great and the finishing touches to the yard and garden went over and above what was quoted. Weve already hired them again to take down two trees.
Dr. Wood Arborist & Landscape Specialist performed a total backyard remodel at my home in New Albany. Over the course of two+ weeks, he removed invasive plants, small trees, abundant ground growth, brush, dead trees/limbs and ground stumps, and he replaced it with 26 hedge trees, a raised planting bed with triple black mulch, lush green sod and four Norway spruces. I could not be happier with the project. He is responsive to messages and knowledgeable in his craft. His fixed firm pricing was in line with other competitive quotes, and he kept his promises on work days, progress goals and material quality. I highly recommend his services.
The guys removed a 25 dying Blue Spruce in less than 90 minutes that included stump grinding and cleaning up the yard and street. When they left there was no evidence they were ever there other than the missing tree..... they also came back and did repair work on the culvert behind my house which needed dirt repair, reseeding, leveling. This project took about 3 hours and again when they left there was little evidence of them ever being here. One of the best attributes of Dr. Wood Arborist & Landscape Specialist is that they say what they are going to do and do what they say. They communicate and follow up - no wondering if and when you might hear or see them.... These are not only a good resource for this type of work but also very professional..... I would recommend them to anyone.
I wish we could rate 10 stars! Simply the most professional home improvement company we have come across. We had our backyard fence replaced and much overrun cleaned up. Plus front flowerbeds winterized. The work was outstanding. Very pleased.
