Their service is terrible! They do not show up when they say they will and their work is messy. I was having a connection problem with my irrigation system, thus my sprinklers were not turning on. The lawnworx tech verified that the system was programed correctly, reviewed the connections at the valves, and then said, “I don’t know what is going on. The cable must be cut somewhere, so we will have to bring out our trencher to run a new underground cable… and the here’s your $1,200 quote.” My son then came over, looked at the connections and noted that they were poor. After re-doing all of their connections, I was up and running. Unfortunately, this was not my first bad experience with them. I hate having to call them. But, I am in a new home with a 3 year warranty on the sprinklers, and they are the ones who are to support it during that time. Ugggghhhh!

I use LawnWorx every year for multiple jobs. John Lee and his crew are courteous and do great work. This week I used John and his LawnWorx team to 1) repair a broken sprinkler line 2) winterize my sprinklers and 3) install our Christmas Lights. John and his team not only install and remove our Christmas lights but they also maintain that all bulbs are functioning throughout the Christmas season. I also use John for mowing services every Summer when my family and I are on a multi-week vacation. Not only does John make sure our lawn is maintained while we are out of town, but he also sends me texts that he has checked on our home for any security intrusions. There are many really good lawn, landscape, holiday lighting companies in the Kansas City area - but I highly recommend John Lee and the LawnWorx team.

John Lee is a great member of the community, and he runs his business in exactly the same way. I trust him and his crew to mow the yard, put up the Christmas lights, clear snow, and basically anything else the yard/ exterior needs, and I have done so for the last 8years without a single complaint. In fact, he put up my Christmas lights just last week, recently a bulb burnt-out, and he came by to replace it before I even had a chance to call. Even though he didn’t install my sprinklers (though I wish he had, Ive seen his work on neighbors houses, and it’s a definitive step in quality above what I’ve got), he still repairs them promptly and without issue shortly after we call him. My family and I vouch for John Lee both as a person, and as a trusted business partner.

Had John and Lawnworxs for 10 years and have nothing but the best to say for the private, locally owned company! They do my sprinkler system and Christmas lights and occasionally mow my yard when we are out of town. Very professional and top notch work!

I have used Lawnworx for the last 11 years. Never ever have I had an issue that wasn’t corrected timely and perfect. John serviced, corrected and fixed my sprinkler in my last house. He installed my currant sprinkler even though my builder didn’t use him at the time... he now uses him. This is a great local small business. They do great things in the community. Give this local business a try for all of your lawn and lighting needs.

this is a small local company that does a great job. If you want personal service at a local level they are great. If you want to pay high prices and have perfect appointment times go with a huge company that treats you like a number. We've used for years and have no complaints at all - love John and the entire crew there...they do lawn - sprinklers - christmas lights for hundreds and hundreds of people on a routine basis in my neighborhood.

RUN AWAY! We attempted to have him install a sprinkler at our house about a year ago and never would return calls or text, so we went with another company. When we purchased our new home this year we had a sprinkler system installed and come to find out it was Lawn Worx. We attempted to contact him multiple times to come out to adjust the sprinkler heads and he would never call or text back. The builder had to get involved to get him out to do his work. We are having work done to our patio and needed to have the sprinkler heads moved and said he didn't want to work for us. Well, that's not how I do business and I would gladly pay someone to come out who appreciates our business. Give your money to someone who will take care of you, not to someone that takes your money and drops off the face of the earth. Worst company, I will be telling my clients as well as customers who I know that have his sprinklers to ditch him after the way we were treated.

Don't use this company. He installed 3 weeks late. Then wouldn't return calls or texts and missed 3 different appointments to adjust system. They then finally call back set new appointment, no show and try to reschedule again. I let them know I was disappointed via email and never heard back.
