Trey and his crew exceeded my expectations while repairing multiple broken retaining walls around my home. The estimate not only covered all of the things I directly asked for, but also provided solutions for more extensive problems that I mentioned off hand, assuming they couldnt all be handled at the same time.

We had several projects in parallel (new landscaping, clean up of existing, and garden bed) which were executed flawlessly. The preparation and consistent communication by Shawn and the team are what makes Treys stand out for providing excellent customer service - and our homes exterior looks fabulous!

The crew that does my nieghbors yard has scapled my yard close to my house 3 weeks in a row. Its mowed to their liking. We do not mow our yard like a putting green however. . I need this crew to stay on their property and off of mine. I had put a row of landscape lights up this week to define the property line. Placed a foot into my property. They completely smashed the light closest to my fence. Would not recommend as a lawn service.

We hired Treys Lawn and Landscape to redo our front landscaping. The process from beginning to end was amazing! Shawn came out and listened to our needs and followed up quickly with an estimate. They then came out and did an amazing job. Afterwards they followed up to make sure we were happy. So easy to work with! We look forward to having them back out in late fall to work on our patio!

Trey designed a new front foundation landscape design for us. The plantings and materials have worked out beautifully and the timeline for installation was as planned . Trey was attentive to all my concerns and questions. A total pleasure to work with such friendly professionals!!

Worst experience with this company right from the beginning. I hired them to do a hardscape/retaining wall. Lack of communication from the onset. Lack of accountability til the end. Now I have to pay someone else to come fix and finish it. $5000 this was.

Excellent team of professionals from design phase through completion. We relandscaped the front and back of our property to include landscape, hardscape, irrigation and lighting. They guided us through the entire process from plant selection and layout design recommendations. So my wife and I knew we needed some over-seeding of lawn. Decided also to get a landscaping bid for this terrible area in our front yard. Treys provided a reasonable bid and we had them do the work: (1) Crew was super courteous and professional. (2) Crew showed up and got it done -- on time and on budget. Hard working folks! (3) Saving best for last -- the results were beyond our expectations (thats a tired old phrase, but here it is accurate). Neither my wife nor I really had a decent idea of just how good this could possibly look. Highly recommend these folks!

Massively expensive

We just had the most pleasurable experience ever with a lawn and landscaping company. We hired Trey s Lawn & Landscape, Parkville, MO., to do stone edging, landscaping, tree trimming, placement of boulders, and replacing old soaker hose. Joel, the project manager, put his heart into our project, making sure we were happy with everything they did. His crew followed his lead in making sure things were done to perfection. We made a few changes along the way which was no problem for them. As for the owner, Trey, he was a pleasure to work with. He quoted us quickly, made several changes at our request, and responded to our many questions with no delay. He is a pleasant man who runs his business to please his customers. We hired Trey to do a large landscape project and we could not be more pleased! The design he provided, and that his crew implemented came out just as we envisioned. The job included reworking existing flower beds by adding rock, stone borders, large flagstones, lighting, and new plantings. His crew was professional and accomadated the small changes we made. We would definitely recomend hiring Treys Lawn and Landscape!

We had some work to landscape a new build, with some difficult circumstances: lack of property markings, weeds, existing infrastructure, grade, deck layout, downspouts. Interacting with Trey and his team gave our family value out of our yard not only from a re-sale standpoint, but also from the enjoyment standpoint. This was a multi-stage project, working around other changes to the property, mostly out of their control, such as survey, fence, utility encroachment, construction. All the while, they were professional, and within budget.

They did an amazing job and will utilize Treys Lawn for future needs.

Wow, amazing service! Contacted Treys to get a bid on a large-scale project for our Church. They met with us several times to get the right scope for the project as well as meet our vision and maintenance requirements that we could do. They were very competitive in pricing to other landscape companies but their service and explanations in our meetings is what caused us to go with their bid. They were able to do a sizeable deconstruct and new installation in a short timeframe for a large event that we had coming. Thier continued support even after the install has been fantastic. They are very responsive and supportive to questions and maintenance. We are grateful for the partnership and care from Treys and will continue to use them as our landscaping contractor moving forward.

Trey knew he had a picky customer when I told him I drove through two other neighborhoods including ours, and did not find any landscape I liked. He said trust me . I did. I love our landscaping! He listened to what we wanted, offered advice, and walked us through step by step of what he was going to do and why. His staff were very polite and respectful. They did a great job of keeping everything neat and cleaned up daily before leaving for the day. I am more than pleased with every aspect of the job this company did.

I got three bids for a new retaining wall landscape for my yard. I took the bed from Trey Sean came every day before his crew came to work. He told them what had to be done that day that has those were starting to build the wall. the blocks looks more gray to me than 10 I had ordered it had rained the night before the blocks or what Shawna and Jamie told me they looks like a different color when they were dry. I now have a beautiful wall that is tan and cream just what I was looking for a very organized and great teamwork I would recommend Trey s lawn and landscape.

My husband and I had a not so good experience in the summer of 2021 with a local landscaping company we hired. It was a very frustrating and costly experience. We were looking for a company that would be responsive, knowledgeable about plants, trees, shrubs, lawns etc. Treys Lawn & Landscape met all of these criteria and more. Our experience with Trey and his crew has been and continues to be a fantastic experience. Trey was on time at our first meeting, listened attentively to my concerns, my likes and my dislikes. He prepared a very detailed estimate and I was so impressed that he did not miss one thing I said in our initial meeting. His estimate came with a video of the areas of our landscape needing attention along with his suggestions for each of these areas. The video was extremely helpful. I also want to commend Treys crew. They were extremely professional, very hard working on what were some of the hottest days weve had this summer and they very polite and kind. I was very impressed with each of them. They left our yard and driveway immaculate each day and both were cleaner and in better shape that when they first arrived to begin the project. This attention to detail and care for our property just seemed like a no brainer to Trey and his crew. I was very grateful that they cared this much. This is truly my first google review. I was more than happy to do this for Trey. Weve been so very pleased with his knowledge of plants, his responsiveness, professionalism and his ability to have such an amazing crew on his team. Trey takes great care to empower you to care for your new landscape by providing detailed watering instructions AND he responds quickly to texts when you are struggling our having issues with your plants. Respectful service done in a timely manner

Trey is amazing! He did what he said he would do. He was on time and kept us informed every step of the way. His crew was great! Very rare to get the creativeness, quality of work along with a great work ethic and excellent communication. Truly a pleasure to work with. Far and above the other trades we ve had work on our house.

Trey and his crew were very professional and did a great job refreshing the landscaping around our home. During the design, Trey was interested in what we liked and encouraged us to send him photos/images. He designed a complete package and worked in some of the existing plantings to avoid additional costs. The crew doing the work were very professional and their craftsmanship was of high quality.

After going through three different lawn services in the past 5 years I stumbled upon Treys Lawn and Landscape on Facebook. They have been the most detail oriented and hard working team Ive had at my house. Any issues Ive ever had have been resolved by their customer service team immediately. I read the great reviews and was looking forward to working with them. They came out to give me estimates on a variety of projects we had in mind. 2 weeks past and we heard nothing. I contacted them and was told they would have something for us in a couple of days. Two more weeks past, so I contacted them again. I was told they were behind because of HR issues, and that if I wanted to use them, they would be available in September or October. I asked how I was supposed to know if I wanted to use them since I never even got estimates for our projects. I never got a response. Congratulations to those of you who have had good work done by Treys. I wish I could say the same.

Trey and his crew did an excellent job repairing our rock wall. Others who bid said they would have to rebuild the entire wall. Trey was the only one who said he could repair the existing wall and put off a complete rebuild. Crew was very responsive and they were careful not to damage our lawn.

Trey and his team helped me with aeration, verticutting, and seeding. They were so great to work with that they were the first ones I called to do some tree cleanup and will be the first ones I call for future work. What I appreciated even more than the exceptional work was the professionalism and exceptional customer service. Both Maggie (the Service Manager) and Trey were very responsive and attentive. They listened to what I needed help with, provided thorough (yet concise) recommendations, offered competitive pricing, got the work done quickly, and even followed up later to check and see how things were going.

I have been a customer for years. Everything gets done right and done the first time. No job is too big or too small.

We have used Trey for 3 years now. We started with just mowing and some fertilizer. Over the years, we have increased our service to include spring and fall cleanups, stick pick up on mowing days, mole eradication, insecticide drenches specifically on certain trees, shrub trimming and maintenance, snow removal and ice treatment, and 2 *very large* landscape projects. Here s what I know: 1) our yard has never looked better 2) he is the most responsive lawn care provider that we have ever had (we ve had 4 previous service providers) 3) he takes pride in his work and sincerely wants his customers to be happy 4) Whenever we have had even the slightest issue/problem he has taken care of it immediately. I do not believe that we are the only customers who have received this level of service from him, but we have *never* received this kind of service from anyone else. We highly recommend Trey s Lawn and Landscape and will continue to do so

Hired the business for some basic lawn care maintenance. Mowing, clearing brush, bagging lawn trimmings, etc. The workers were very professional and arrived on time ready to get started. Ive used Trey Brown for 2 years on my lawn it was in very bad shape when I moved in. I do everything he recommends (the guy knows what hes doing) and I have a nice weed free thick green lawn. he also did a couple of large landscaping projects for me me and Im very satisfied with the results. I plan on having him take of my lawn again next season. .

Trey bid the job of installing a field-rock border around my house to replace a rubber edging border. The rocks selected were of good quality, clean and attractive. The workmen finished the job, to my high satisfaction, in one day. The final bill was for less than the estimate. The work area was cleaned up and all debris carted off. I am a very satisfied customer.

We called Trey to ask for his ideas and help for an outdoor party we were hosting. Our backyard patio and space was horribly overgrown, unkept and beat up (two large labs). We appreciated all of Trey s ideas, and how quickly his team worked. They were able to transform not only our backyard landscaping but the front as well to get it totally ooh and ahh party worthy - even running all around town trying to find blooming trees and flowers to plant and pot for me! They were professional, friendly, timely and went above and beyond with customer service. We can t wait to have them back out in the fall.

I have used Trey multiple times for lawn and landscape projects in the past two years. I am very happy with the quality of work that was done. Trey is always great to deal with. He is very prompt on communications before, during and after a project is completed.

I wish I received the same experience everyone else seems to have with Trey and his landscaping services but unfortunately, I did not. The particular project that caused conflict was hiring him to remove a mulch bed. Most of the felt/metal pins and some plastic stakes were left in my lawn over a 15 foot area around my patio, one of which seem to have been sharpened when they worked the ground. They completed the aeration/verticutting as I paid him for my full yard but they left most of the felt down for that previous mulch bed and I still have near one foot patches of felt in my new grass there. I pulled over a dozen metal pins out and was generally displeased but had Trey come over in person so we could walk the property and I set the expectation to have the rest of mulch removed and the pins pulled. He removed some rubbish left in my fire pit by his workers and spread down some seed and left. I followed up with a text and inquired about when they would be back out for the mulch when he finally told me flat out it doesnt need to be removed. He also said the mulch/metal pins/plastic stakes will biodegrade as justification for not removing them. I insisted as I have small children and the pins/stakes lying around are not ideal. He has refused over multiple correspondence since to finish the work and after I paid he has decided we shouldnt work together moving forward. Honestly, its really ten more minutes of work but he quoted me $250 for just the mulch bed itself. I didnt expect to have to finish the work to meet my expectations especially after the owner of the company comes out and says theyll do what they can to make it right. In general, I paid him in full but Im left with an unfinished product in my eyes. I moved forward with Trey with the expectation the price would match the quality of work which is unfortunately not what I received, even after talking to the owner in person and giving them multiple opportunities to make it right.

Treys crews have continually improved and maintained our lawn, landscaping, and trees for years. Theyve built retaining walls, designed our gardens, and have taken complete care of us. Couldnt be more satisfied with their quality and reliability!
