I needed the dead Prairie Rose Crab tree in my back yard cut down and the stump removed. Matts Maintenance Tree Service was recommended to me by a friend who had used their services in the past, so I contacted Matts for a price estimate and possible job date. I received a quick reply and was quite pleased with the very reasonable estimate, so we set a removal date. When the day came to remove the tree it was raining heavily, but the two-man crew that came by that day cut the tree down in no time and determined that the stump removal would have to be rescheduled due to the heavy rain and the fact that the stump grinder machine was too big to fit through my back yard gate. A couple of days another two-man crew showed up with shovels and axes and manually dug out and removed the stump, followed by filling in the hole and meticulously cleaning up the area. I would recommend Matts Maintenance to anyone who needs a reliable and professional tree service company... theyre a five star company!

Matts Maintenance Tree Service was great to work with. After attempting to remove a large tree stump in my backyard myself, I finally called around for a pro to do it. I got several quotes, and not only was Matts the least expensive because they have a small enough grinder to get to my backyard easily, but they were also able to come out before the others I called. After some smart engineering to get their grinder to my backyard without damaging anything, the grinding went very quickly and they cleaned up the area nicely. Im so thankful for this company, and will definitely use them again should the need arise. I highly recommend hiring Matts Maintenance.

Matts Maintenance and Tree service did extensive work on our landscaping recently. They were very professional and prompt. Their crew cleaned all areas of the yard and front driveway where they removed 9 huge trees that were either growing too close to the house or were dying and ground all stumps. During the severe hailstorm in Denver one of our trees was damaged. Broken branches were stuck high up in the tree, and we were worried they would fall on someone. Matt sent 2 men to do the job and they were amazing! My grandson and I watched as one climbed up the tree, cut the branches skillfully and the other collected the broken and trimmed branches to neatly dispose of them. I am so happy I found Matts Tree Service! For our job, they were the answer. I thought all aspects of the job Matt and his crew did were outstanding, from start (doing the estimate), to finish (cleaning up), and everything in between! They removed a huge dying tree in the backyard, and 5 smaller trees surrounding the deck. None of the trees were in a position where collateral damage wasnt a large risk if one felled the trees in a normal manner. Their equipment is top notch, and the crane is a gamechanger for tough situations - what an amazing reach it has! All of the crew were excellent, worked hard and well, and communicated and followed direction well. All their equipment is top notch, as is the crew. I received an estimate late last year along with estimates from other companies. Matts honored their word and beat the pricing of the lowest other legitimate bid after I decided to go with them. By the time they could get me on the schedule, it was too late to trim my maple so they said they would honor the estimate this spring and did. There were some communication issues between the office and the field crews resulting in some delays and a little extra work but overall they did a good job at a reasonable price. I will say that the lead of the second crew that arrived was very conscientious about both his work and positive customer interaction which was refreshing and represented the company very well. .

Fantastic experience here. Had a stump in the front yard that Id procrastinated on grinding down. Matts was reasonably priced and very responsive via email. Fast forward 10 days and the stump is gone with zero damage to the plants around it.

They did a great job removing the tree in our front yard and grinding the stump as well as clean up. I wasnt home when the tree was removed, but when I returned everything looked great. They were also very helpful working with us on scheduling a time that worked best for us.

I had 5 large trees in my backyard that needed deadwood removed and additional trimming. Matts Maintenance was recommended to me, was prompt to respond to messages, and was fairly priced. The crew that showed up was polite, respectful, hardworking, and did a fantastic job of cleaning up when they were done. They have a piece of equipment that is like a cherry picker bucket with a small base that can be driven through side gate openings so I didnt have to worry about our sprinklers being destroyed or trying to get permission to have large equipment driven around and parked outside my property. I would use Matts Maintenance again in the future for our tree care and would recommend them to others.

Matt came out to give me a free estimate. Gave me a paper copy, I told him Id think it over. I climbed my ladder as high as it would go up the tree, pictured a chainsaw in my hand cutting stuff that challenges my own weight and determined its definitely a heck know, I want to live. The office said they would call on a Monday as they schedule weekly for weather. My phone went down for 3 days changing carriers missed the call. When I got service, I called them back, apologized and found I was next in line for the day. How sweet is that. Matt and his crew did a fantastic job removing a 65 pine tree from inside my fenced yard by using a crane. I was hesitant about the process but it all went smoothly. Removed large Siberian elm and ground stump. Very efficient and made sure everything was cleaned up. This type of work can be difficult and they know how to operate the required equipment. Matt and his crew used a crane to remove a sick and hollowed out 30-40 Cottonwood from our lot. He was able to pluck it out from between a shed, retaining wall, and fence without any damage because of the the crane. Amazing work.

my longtime neighbor referred Matts Tree service to me. I had a huge pile of dead scrub oak that I accumulated and piled up over the winter. It was Matts suggestion to grind all the branches rather than lifting into a dump truck. Had two big dying aspens that they removed quickly and safely. Were in and out of our yard quicker than estimated while doing a great job cleaning up.

Matt is easy to work with and his team is respectable and qualified. There were some timing delays but all due to weather. Matt is very responsive and informative and kept in communication along the way. His team did a great job removing a tree, grinding the stump, replacing rock and pruning some bushes and a tree in our front space. I will use them again for future needs!

Can t tell if branches that were pruned were truly dead as they did this after the leaves fell in autumn. I do know that we had a pretty healthy looking tree (with some blank spots) and now that the leaves have grown back we still have (what seems to be) similar amount of blank spots (maybe slightly less). Just bought a mini chainsaw on a pole and will likely do myself. I did 2 of my other trees by myself and they are looking great so far. They were certainly nice people to work with though.

Micro-burst took down our 60 ft. tall pine tree, blocking our driveway. Matts crew showed up on time the next morning with two trucks and a large chipper. Within 1 hour the tree was totally loaded in their trucks and the area was thoroughly cleaned up. Not cheap, but great service and will use them again if needed.

I had to have stumps ground and removed after trees came down. Also had to have a very large tree removed. They men worked hard and when they were gone the only thing left was the vacant spot where a tree once was. Will absolutely use them again if the need arises.

They took down our dead Aspen tree in about an hour for less than $500. They were professional and cut the tree up for firewood afterwards, as well as cleaned up wood chippings. Will definitely use them again when our next tree goes!

The team did a great job--I had them remove two trees and do some heavy trimming on another. I was a little worried with them removing a large Aspen in the backyard but they did it with care and cleaned up once they were done so I wasnt left with a mess. I have used Matts Maintenance Tree service on several projects over the last 10 years. They have always done a great job and at a reasonable price. Most recently, needed a tree removed on the edge of our driveway, so that we could expand the driveway width. Key thing was had to get the preparation work done so that we could get the as[halt installed before it got too cold. Matt and his team listened to my needs and was able to quickly get out here and get the tree down and hauled away, so we could get the excavation work done and asphalt drive completed. Matt was the key to getting this project done quickly and i much appreciate he and his crew. They do great work.

Great experience with Tyler and Chris who meticulously trimmed an overgrown locust tree at our rental with branches overhanging the neighbors roof. Great clean up. They were kind enough to help me dispose of many bags of pine needles and yard waste. Chris and Ash came to our home the following day and spent hours trimming many overgrown trees (some that werent included in the original estimate). We were lucky to have this done before the recent snow storm. Weve used Matts before and will definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

They were able to do our tree removal ahead of schedule, and Tyler and the rest of the crew were amazing (Tylers enthusiasm about his job was a bonus). The first time I met Matt, he was removing a tree in my neighbors yard across the street. I managed to get his attention while they were cleaning up, and asked if he could help me with a an Ash tree that was having issues with borer beatles. His team removed the tree that same day! Recently, we noticed one of our bigger silver maple trees had some broken limbs up high. Matts team managed to save the tree, and did so without leaving the tree looking lopsided. The Arborist and his helper really hustled and did a very good job taking down a good sized Ash in a tight space. They hauled it all out to the chipper and disposed of it. Matt s Tree Service was great. The crew showed up on time, were polite and did a great job discussing what they were going to do for our tree trimming. We did have a few month wait between our quote and service but they were fully transparent about lead time and well worth the wait. The back office was great to work with and communicated via email/text/phone which was great for me, no phone tag, just easy texts. On top of it all they were very reasonably priced compared to two other quotes we received. Our tree looks fantastic and can t wait to see how great it looks in the spring when it blooms again. Matt s Maintenance was an incredibly easy business to work with. Even though they were very busy and booked out for several weeks I still felt that I received attentive and timely service. WOW!! In an hour I had 2 trees removed, a vine cut down and the neighbors low hanging tree trimmed so its not sitting on the fence anymore!! I swear the ground in my backyard is cleaner than the before they got here. Not only that, they made sure the front sidewalks and street were spotless. Hardworking, efficient and careful. It did take almost 2 months to get the appointment, wasnt an emergency, but it was worth the wait. The day of the estimate went smoothly.
