I ve been using Hughes Landscaping for several services, sprinkler repair, weeding, mulching, clean up. They are always on time and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them!

My yard was in sad shape and I needed a small section of new sod. The sister company of the sod company is Hughes Landscaping, so I contracted with them to do regular service on my yard last year, including weed control, over seeding, fertilizer, and aeration. I do the mowing myself. In one season my grass has been transformed into thick, luscious turf. I couldn t be more pleased.

Hughes is always at the house when they say they ll be there and they do a great job for a great price!

Hughes Landscaping has done a great job for us for several years now. I had a scheduling issue and mentioned my husbands father had passed away and that day would be his funeral. Today, we received a very nice card from the Hughes staff offering condolences. It was such a nice, thoughtful and unexpected thing to do, so thought I would share. They truly do a great job for us!

We hired Hughes right after moving into our home. They are horrible. They do not return phone calls and charge us for work they do not perform. The actually sent us an invoice for work on a day that we were home all day - they were never at our home that week!! We tried getting them to resolve the service problems and the billing issues, but they are not interested.

I have been a customer for many years and we have had increases in your fees every year which I understand. This year it is a much higher increase than previous years and I am not sure how fixed income customers will be able to afford double digit increases. You have a good product and excellent workers.

A crew from Hughes trimmed all of our shrubbery. They arrived within the time frame requested, discussed with spouse what they were going to do, and cleaned up all of the cuttings. Afterwards, we pruned some of the oldest stems, but they made it a quick job for us.

Weve used Hughes Landscaping for several years (over 10) and they consistently do a great job, however this year our Spring Cleanup Service was FANTASTIC!! They were on time, professional, thorough and did an absolutely wonderful job. Its rare these days when a company goes above and beyond! The lawn care and maintenance from this company has been top notch I had switched vendors 3 times and I now super happy with the service and quality I get. They do a great job with moving but also weed control and fertilizing and they are really easy to communicate with. Couldn t be happier!

I hired Hughes Landscaping because no other company I contacted was willing to do my entire project which included erosion control, irrigation, weeds and seeding. Sam worked closely with us to develop and execute a plan that addressed our needs. Sam and his team were very professional, communicated effectively, adapted as necessary and completed the entire job in four days. They also repaired a leak that they found from my well before connecting the new irrigation system. I really appreciate their efforts and look forward to working with them again!

Ive been working with Hughes for the past two years and plan to continue with them next year. I couldnt be happier with the service and quality.

Called to get quote for yard redo and for annual yard services. They came out then would not respond with quote, nor offer fertilization, sprinkler turn on, etc... If they dont want my business...just say so.

Broke hoses in our sprinkler system, doesnt return calls, poor communication, does not do a thorough job as asked. Hoping our experience gets better.

No call and no show. I wish I could say this is the first time. Dont use them, they dont deserve your business. Very unprofessional, and very unreliable. Its almost like they dont want your money. Edit: they finally got back me a weeks later and put us into their schedule.

Keystone Block Retaining Wall and Flagstone Walkway Installation After researching options we selected Hughes Landscaping of Parker Colorado to install a block retaining wall along both sides of our 350 foot long driveway, and continuing along the front of our home. In addition, we wanted to convert an existing breeze/gravel walkway at the back of our home, to flagstone. The work was completed this month and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! Sam Hughes spent considerable time with my husband and I over several initial visits, talking through the various design options for this work. The project began on time with a professional, friendly and super-productive crew of workers who were all very respectful of our property. Sam was always very responsive to our questions and concerns (via text, calls or emails) about matching existing block, flagstone and river rock materials needed for this project. The work ethic of Hughes crew was amazing from start to finish, leaving our property clean and orderly after this major, 12-day project that began and finished on time. Hughes Landscaping is a family-owned business who - from our experience, selects and manages an excellent crew of workers, providing a wide range of landscaping design and installation services. We highly recommend Hughes Landscaping!

Very disappointed! They never showed up to aerate and never called to tell me they needed to reschedule. They also said they would call me to finalize the date to mow then they showed up unannounced and did a terrible job. The edging is poorly done and my grass in the backyard doesn t even look cut. There s still patches of tall grass all over and he broke my tree moving my trampoline.

Victor and his crew did an excellent job on a small project, replacing sod and updating a large flower bed. Victor and his crew were very professional, quality of work was great and communication was excellent. This was my first experience with Hughes Landscaping and I let them know that they are my first choice for future landscaping projects.

Last October we had landscaping and concrete work done on our backyard. There were a couple of items that were written as still being required to be completed. For the past month I have been in contact with them to have these items completed, only to be told a number of times the guys are too busy to get to our work that needs to be completed. After being ignored repeatedly we are at the point where we never would recommend this company to anyone else.

Hughes was working on my landscaping. While they cleaned up some, I still had quite a bit of cleanup from their trimming. It was windy that evening and the next day I noticed that one of my landscape lights was broken. It appears they propped it up so everything would look OK until the first wind blew it over. They did not tell me about this nor did they fix the mess they created. I will be contracting with a different landscaping company in the future.

Apparently Hughes Landscaping is severely understaffed this year. We signed a full-service contract a few months back but they have not mowed once this season and informed me today that they are not sure when they will be able to get to us. Our front lawn now is 8-10 tall and is the ONLY lawn in our sub-division not mowed so far this season. I have just fired them.

Hughes has done my yard aerations and sprinkler system work for the last 12 years. Even did a few landscaping projects. This spring I called to schedule sprinkler repair and was told they had one guy working sprinklers and I couldnt get an appt. for like 2 months. Might be time to hire another sprinkler person. Anyway, nice enough people but I probably wont be calling Hughes anymore. Especially since my sprinkler issue is cracked plastic which shouldnt happen if you have your sprinkler system blown out. Hughes blew out my sprinkler system last fall.

I would love to leave a full review, but being that they cant answer my inquiry and they clearly dont seem interested in my business, I will take my money elsewhere!

Food and service is GREAT

The folks at Hughes rebuilt a collapsed rock wall for me. Their work was OUTSTANDING. Even if I HAD been able to move the boulders myself, Im confident that I would never have been able to do as professional a job as they did. I highly recommend giving them a call if you have any landscape architectural needs. Mike Bernal was a pleasure to work with.

Hughes landscaping is absolutely phenomenal and they have far exceeded my expectations for my huge landscape project. This company is honest and very knowledgeable. Who knew I was suppose to water my trees in the winter? Dave was the project manager and Sam was the supervisor who delegated everything for their employees. Who were very professional, ohorugh and literally worked the entire day from the moment they arrived at my home until they left. We had irrigation installed with 20 zones along with bushes, trees and the most amazing and beautiful rock and the most impressive part with this company is they installed 20 pallets of sod in one day. All of their employees have the utmost work ethic I have seen in years. I cannot recommend this company enough for your small and large landscape needs. Theyre AWESOME!

I have never had better service! Billie educated me on how to use the sprinkler system - nobody had done that before. And he fixed what was broken at a very fair price. If you want great service and price, you will do yourself a great service by calling Hughes Landscaping! I know who I will call come fall when it is time to turn the system off for the winter! Two thumbs up!!!!!

Received a estimate for sprinkler installation and got a phone call from Hughes Landscaping to comfirm next day with the estimate I received and when the crew showed up they said they couldnt do the work and another estimate needs to be done. New estimate came in much higher and Hughes Landscaping did not honor the original one. Bait and Switch and very Dishonest ! Buyers Beware !

This company is the most honest and knowledgeable Ive experienced in a long time. They try their best to meet my needs in an appropriate time period. They sent four men with shovels to realign some landscaping for water drainage on a Sat afternoon when more heavy rains were predicted. I thought that was very conscientious on their part. Their snow removal is perfect for our long country lane. Marian

Unfortunately the aeration was never performed, but I got a bill in the mail anyway. Called the company but the person did not believe me the work was never done. She did not offer to come out and check for themselves. Not very good customer service.
