Steve and his team did a really great job. I told them roughly what I was looking for for my back yard, and Steve designed it in a couple of days. Then they completed the entire back yard in about a week. I had serious drainage issues that are not a problem any more and it just looks great. They also left me with enough information to maintain my plants well into the future.

They transformed an outdated 40-year old, non-descript backyard into an inviting space (with a new 2-level stairway, flagstone walkways, patio for our firepit and architectural boulders for seating) that will bring years of enjoyment & relaxation. The winter weather was a constant challenge to work through, but they persevered resulting in a beautiful landscape transformation. American Design and Landscape just completed our whole yard landscape refresh and paver patio expansion. Everything from the initial design consult through completion was seamless and transparent. They were on par with four other estimates while providing a more complete design. The crew that did all the work were fantastic and got the work done on schedule while cleaning up at the end of every day. The lead contractor as well as crew foremen communicated thoroughly through the entire installation allowing us to make adjustments along the way. The project was done on time and on budget and we are thrilled with the final result. It is evident that their installation team takes great pride in their work. Highly recommend this company. Project consisted of - addition of a paver patio around the already existing poured concrete patio. Requires a regrading of the yard around the patio and new sod. New landscape beds in the front, side and rear yard. Relocation of existing sprinkler heads. Installation of new plants, mulch and rock along with irrigation for the new plant beds.

Love the new plantings, repair work and smaller grass area. Everything was done in a timely manner, could not ask for a better experience!

Nick Leonard and his entire team from design to finish were amazing! Even down to the very helpful office staff. They did fantastic work and we are so glad we chose them over all the others we could have gone with. They finished the job in about a week as told to us about how long it would take. Thats including working around daily afternoon thunderstorms that werent predicted when the start date was scheduled a month prior. We HIGHLY recommend this company for all your landscaping needs! Youll have peace of mind knowing the job will be done right and on time! Not something you are going to necessarily get with the tons of other landscape companies out there. Do yourselves a favor and save time trying to go with anyone else! Call ALM! You wont regret it!

To keep it simple, I have worked with a lot of contracting companies in my time and not a single one can even compare to the experience I had with ADL. I brought my own design to ADL however, that didnt hinder the process in the least. Tia was able to work with the plans I provided and make some adjustments and recommendations based on her knowledge and experience. Not only was everyone on time, and thorough in their work, but the attention to the little details were amazing. From hand separating the cobble/rocks by size to achieve a look. To really taking the time to sort out and position 9 boulders for optimal aesthetic value. There were up front about the things that were not necessarily needed and could reduce cost, while at the same time explaining why certain things mattered more than others. I honestly cant compliment Tia and Jose and the rest of the team enough. One day I will come back in from my new yard.... but not yet.

Steve Bednarchik and the rest of the team at American Design & Landscape did a great job with the new landscape in the backyard of my home in Sterling Ranch. Steve proposed a design for the landscaping and gave me options that would cost more or less. I liked his proposal immediately. It was way better than I could have come up with on my own. The prices were competitive with other offers I received. I asked Steve a bunch of questions and went back and forth on several issues. Steve was very helpful, informative, responsive and patient. After several iterations and a few minor modifications, we ended up with a design I was very pleased with, and that was very close to Steves original proposal. Steve submitted a request to our CAB on my behalf and it was approved. The team got the work done in just 4 days. They were completely professional and thorough. Im very happy with my new back yard (so is our dog). Steve is continuing to help me with irrigation for the new trees and plants too, to ensure that they become well established. Thanks to Steve and the rest of the ADL team!

American Design & Landscape went above and beyond my expectations! We worked first with Tia to design a great landscape plan within our budget. She was great throughout every step in the process, always being sure to answer any questions we had. I can t say enough great things about Tia or Jaime and his crew! We needed to revamp our backyard and redesign it in a way that makes it easier for us to maintain and Tia was a great help. We had a ton of questions during the designing phase and she was patient enough to answer all of them! Timelines were set and adhered to as well. Not only that but Jaime and crew were prompt and affable. They went above and beyond and removed/trimmed/cleaned up plants that already existed in the backyard and needed a little love. It was a pleasure to have them work with us. We had to split our project up due to the upcoming winter season but I cant wait until the finishing details are completed!

We are extremely pleased with the hardscape projects completed by American Design and Landscape! We had previously paid a large sum of money to another landscape company to build a backyard patio with a seat wall and color falls. They did not provide an egress for water accumulating from rain and snow. The wall began to list severely and was in danger of falling. The patio floor adjacent to the wall began to sink. When I complained, the company ghosted me and disappeared! So, I had to take the wall down so that it did not fall. Learning from past mistakes, I did some research on AD&L before hiring them, and learned that they have been in business for over 50 years and belonged to all of the landscaping organizations for which membership requires meeting high standards/performance. Tia, the landscape architect, took my thoughts and turned them into a better reality. Two of the foremen on the project, Jose and Fidel, were first rate. They were friendly, professional and skilled. They identified problems with my patio disaster that I had not seen despite looking at the falling wall and sinking patio for 16 months! The rest of the crew was similarly hard-working and skilled. I cannot say enough good things about the work that was done and the end result. I am very happy and recommend American Design & Landscape highly.

American Design & Landscape transformed our backyard practically dead grass into turf in two days. The design was just what we asked for and the crew was terrific. It looks wonderful and our dog loves it.

We recently hired American to completely re-design the landscaping in our front yard. After hiring 3 other landscapers over the pasty 8 years and not entirely happy with any of them, its safe to say that we are picky and consequently very happy with American. We worked closely with Michael who was very communicative and patient. The guys who did the labor were friendly and meticulous. Very happy with every step of this process!

It has been at least 3 years since American Landscape tore out my side yard wood boxes and stairs and replaced them with slab stone steps and boulders. We hired ADL to design and implement our landscaping project. They were responsive and professional from the beginning, as well as competitively priced. One year later, some of the flowers they planted were struggling to comeback in the spring. We didnt expect it, but ADL came out to replace those flowers (well after the warranty expired). I wish I could give this company more stars.

Wow! Steve and his team of professionals transformed our backyard desert into an outdoor oasis. Their attention to small details and their hardwork really showcase their professionalism.

We were referred to American Design & Landscape by a friend and neighbor who had used them previously and was using them once again for landscaping work in back. We called Steve and he came out to design a deck around our pool area and pool equipment pad, which at the time was still under construction. Various ADL Teams took on different phases of the work, but they were ALL amazing. They were respectful of our home, land, and animals - always courteous, responsive, and willing to please. Gustavo and the sprinkler/drain/dirt crew and Jesus and the paver crew, were true professionals. Their teams worked tirelessly (sometimes under poor conditions) to keep progress moving forward. The work on our project consisted of mainly deck design, deck pavers, paver steps, rock relocation, dirt/sprinkler work, underground drainage, and drain relocation. Steve was onsite often to make sure things were going smoothly and the work stayed true to our vision. He was also key in recommending sub-contractors for things like gas, which I really appreciated. In addition, the owner visited us several times and made it very clear to us that she was available if we needed anything from her. Overall, working with ADL was a great experience for us and we are grateful to our neighbor for the referral. We now consider the folks at ADL friends and if we ever do landscaping work of any kind in the future, we will make ONE call to American Design & Landscape.

It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Things were done according to schedule. I loved that it was one stop shopping so I did not have to figure out or coordinate with multiple different companies. We are so happy with the result. Highly recommended.

After unsuccessfully searching for a reputable landscaping company for months, we took a recommendation from our realtor, and contacted American Landscape and Design. Working with Tia Mower was a pleasure. She created a design matching our vision for xeriscaping our front yard and artificial turf in our backyard, all within the constraints of our HOA CC&R s. After we (and our HOA) approved the design, the demo and installation could not have gone better They were able to start early and finished ahead of schedule (in less than a week!!). Tia s ample crew was extremely efficient and professional and did an excellent job. They cleaned up every night, rain or shine. We couldn t be happier with the results and would highly recommend American Landscape and Design.

Tia did an excellent job to create the design and using the right materials that fit the back yard perfectly. It is beautiful; we absolutely love it and are enjoying it so much. We are getting a lot of compliments from the neighbors. Tia maintained strong communication during the entire project which is essential and even started the project before the scheduled start date. Gustavo and his crew were always prompt; they knew exactly what to do. They were all professional, polite, and focused on detail. The crew finished the project so quickly; the neighbors were impressed with how quickly the transformation was done. Gustavo did an excellent job of explaining the irrigation system and the program control box. The 2nd day we got a late heavy thunder shower that washed some mulch down the street. The crew cleaned it all up and washed down the street in front of the driveway. I highly recommend American & Design Landscape to anyone looking for a reputable and local company. They are professional, timely, and do quality work. In addition, I was able to get the HOA to approve the new landscape design on the very next day that they received it. They were very impressed with it.

Lets make sure were not embellishing what actually happened on the call that Im sure you werent even on. Just because you use a lot of words in your response. Doesnt mean theres actually any truth or content to what youre saying. I was flat out told that your company wouldnt even entertain an estimate because I had my own designs already. I was NEVER told that your designer would review anything at all and made to feel like my business didnt matter whatsoever to your company. I was NEVER offered to have an appointment set up so someone could come to my house and see what needed to be done and review aforementioned design plans with renderings, videos and measurements (First class designs from Yonique Visions and David Wagner by the way). So please dont please dont get this twisted as I NEVER requested nor did I expect ANYONE to come out to my house and start building anything at all without reviewing my designs or coming out first. The mere fact that you even stated that should be under scrutiny as Im sure anyone with half a brain would know that wouldnt even happen without an estimate to begin with. Being condescending by the way, says way more about you and your company than with whom youre directing it towards. As stated in my previous review. This was not what Id call even remotely close to exceptional service to anyone. Theres plenty of companies that offer landscaping services in the area. CALL ANYONE ELSE FOR THESE SERVICES. GOOD DAY! Completely unsatisfied. I shouldnt be pushed aside because I already have a design that I need installed. I have renderings, measurements and materials list. Must be nice to own a company that doesnt need anyone elses business or money. Being condescended towards on the phone is also not a good business practice. Plenty of companies out there willing to accept my money for the job. Go someplace else if you already know what you want in YOUR yard at YOUR house.

We have a new build home which required us to hire lots of trades/services in the last eight months. American was not only a pleasure to work with but also did superior work. They even got us in weeks earlier than anticipated due to a cancellation. We enjoyed working with Tia and Jaime and would have no qualms recommending them to others. We were looking for a company that would help us transform our backyard into a whole new space from start to finish. American Design & Landscape delivered on that. They had great ideas, were knowledgeable and produced a beautiful, quality project. The crews worked very hard, were thorough and had great attention to detail. They were also on time and kept the site neat and clean during the project work. We have referred them to others already and will continue to do so. Superlative work and service from start to finish, and from the owner to the crew. We contacted three landscaping companies - our project was too small for one and we didnt have confidence in the expertise of the second. We were immediately impressed with Steve Bednarchiks horticultural knowledge and willingness to build crevice gardens (something new for him and his crew). Our initial consult with ADL was in May, at which time we were told they could schedule construction in the fall. Between May and the start of installation, Steve patiently (and iteratively) developed a working plan from an artistic rendering done by another designer. We came up on ADLs schedule as promised in October. Their organization and logistics were stellar: the equipment and materials were available as needed, so there was no unnecessary down time. Steve, Gustavo Castaneda (Foreman) and crew made sure we were satisfied with every detail. The crew was industrious, courteous, highly skilled, meticulous, carefully worked around existing hardscape and plants, and even tidied up every evening before leaving. They appeared to genuinely enjoy and take pride in their work, and it shows in their results. We look forward to the planting phase next spring. :)

We have contracted with American Design & Landscape (ADL) to design and landscape both our front and back yards. This past week they started and completed the first phase which included the back and side yard hardscape. Our backyard is small and also has an extreme slope on one side. Their designer, Tia offered a cost-effective solution including a paver patio, concrete step units, paver path installation, and a cobblestone swale for water flow redirection and drainage. Fidel and his team nailed it! The team worked hard to implement the design. I watched how attentive they were to precise measurements and leveling. It looks fantastic. Thus far I have been very pleased. The ADL people, process and product have been exceptional.

I called and met with 4 landscape companies prior to selecting American Design & Landscape for our two phased, rather large project. Steve came out to the house, met with us, took a look around and came back with a design that was the style exactly what I was looking for, but better than I imagined. I made a few requests for changes to some plants and materials, Steve took my feedback and incorporated them into the design right away. Even though the weather has been crazy this Spring and the project got pushed back, Steve was in regular communication. All of that was really impressive and not my usual experience working with landscape companies but once the crew arrived on site- they took it to a whole new level. This crew worked so incredibly hard. They showed up, worked all day, they were courteous, cleaned up each day, finished the project and were gone in record time. They clearly put a whole crew on our project until it was completed, not letting it drag out for weeks. The work they did was really top of the line. I feel like we got a great value for what we spent. They irrigated around the entire property and just clearly went the extra mile, securing the trees, putting up barriers for the deer. I am so impressed and am now measuring all other contracts against the performance of American Design & Landscape. The owner even came out to the property after completion to meet with us, make sure we were satisfied and thank us for our business. Impressive operation. We will only use this company in the future. Steve B came out to my home spent 30 min walking the property and discussing options and told me he would work up a design proposal in a couple weeks. This was oct 2020 which he said is start of slow period Never heard back or never got a call back. After waiting for over 8 weeks and still no proposal or even a phone call I hired another landscape company. i told Steve i was getting 3 proposals/ bids. How do co like this stay in business ?

Mike, the landscape designer was very nice and listened to my needs for the landscape reconstruction and rehab. He took pride in his work. Jaime and his crew were courteous and made sure to pick up each day when they left so my dogs would not hurt themselves on any tools. They were also very efficient . They demolished the old landscaping in about a day and a 1/2. That was very impressive! I love my new water feature. The owner even stopped by which was a very pleasant surprise. I would recommend this company 100%

Mike Morris at American Design Landscape did a great job designing the front and back landscaping at our house. The built a terrace for the sloped area in the back, installed a drip system for easy care and established new sod in both front and back. Mike chose perennials that would flower in spring, summer & fall so that there was always a focal area that highlighted the garden. I am very happy with their work. The cost was moderate and they guarantee newly planted perennials & shrubs for 1 year which most landscape companies dont do.

Mike and the ADL team provided the best estimate and provided high quality, professional and on-time service. They replaced trees and bushes, added trees, added rock, added a lawn border, modified the sprinklers, upgraded a gravel path and added concrete block to our patio. We went from a drab, generic patio to a backyard retreat with ADL.

This is the third project American Design and Landscape completed for us since moving to Colorado in 1994 and, as usual, they did not disappoint! Steve, Jesus and their crew did an exceptional job updating and enhancing our landscaping and replacing and enhancing our under-deck hot tub masonry. From Steves beautiful design plan to the completed project by the experienced crew, we could not have been more pleased with their work. Not only did the crew do great work, they were on time, friendly, accommodating and left our property neat and tidy at the end of every day. The receptionist was nice. This company has a $15,000.00 minimum for home landscaping. I don t recommend calling unless your super rich!

Tia at American Landscape and Design was the point of contact person to ensure my project was carefully planned out, assigned the team to carry out the plans and to communicate any details needed in order to have the project come to fruition. I greatly appreciate Tia s professionalism and communication in order to consciously be on the same page. Fidel and his team were assigned to my labor extensive project; remove rocks, replace weed barrier, reset rocks for both front and back yards. Fidel and his team did an incredible, quality work. Not only did they complete the job in a timely manner but also ended up going above and beyond with leaving my back yard looking better than when they arrived on the first day. The team ended up pulling weeds in an area that was not a part of the plan. I have a fence that is in need of replacing and leaning pretty badly. The team ended up adjusting my fence in order to work around it. The team could ve left the fence how it was when they started the work but they left the fence in an upright position. I now do not need to worry about the fence lasting through the winter. These above and beyond measures were not asked of them but rather, an act of kindness. Thank you Tia, Fidel and the team! It s nice to have been on the receiving end of an act of kindness.

I recently completed a large backyard landscape project with American Design & Landscape and I am extremely pleased! I received design recommendations and bids from three different landscaping companies. Megan Isaacs design was by far the most creative, aligned with my home style and taste, and made the best use of my backyard living space. We spent time walking the yard and making minor adjustments and Megan always had great suggestions. She stayed in regular communication with me and the job started and ended on time. She was here first thing the morning the crews arrived and spent time going through the designs in detail and she introduced me to the crew leader, Fidel. He was also fantastic and was happy to walk the yard with me at any time to show me their progress and answer any questions. Fidel was pleasant and professional and he had a great crew who worked very hard each and every day. They were respectful of my space and kept their work areas clean and tidy. I was also extremely impressed with Gustavo who is the irrigation lead. He also was extremely professional and just a pleasure to interact with. I have never felt that comfortable with my irrigation system and he was patient and took time to explain it to me, even the existing areas which he did not update. He also came back twice to adjust the timing on the sensors to make sure all the new plantings and turf were staying good and watered without being wasteful. Another thing that was great about ADLs model is that Megan was not only my designer but she was also the project manager. Loved this! I never had to worry about my project getting out of sync from what was originally designed after some handoff for others to execute. I never had to call Megan to check on progress. She reached out regularly and was frequently on the job site checking on progress with her own eyes, and she also stayed in regular contact with Fidel and Gustavo. My project was quite large and pricey, but I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out and am fully enjoying my outdoor living space. What better investment when you live in Colorado! Mike really listened to what I wanted done and gave helpful suggestions. The guys who completed landscaping were polite and worked hard. 5 star experience=happy customer.

They stained $10k worth of concrete the wrong color and it clashed with my house. They asked us to pay the replacement cost. I just spoke with another concrete person who said that was completely unacceptable.

We had quite a bit of landscaping done in our backyard and we were extremely impressed with American Design and Landscape. Mike did a great job putting together a plan as well as making great suggestions to us to help our maintenance be less. The project started right on time and the crew worked hard every day providing us with a beautiful new landscape. They also finished right on time and left our yard very clean. American landscape was a referral to us so we were really excited to get our backyard completed by a local company. We were so disappointed at the lack of communication and follow-up, they will only communicate via email, it was 3 weeks before we saw any cost. There was no creativity to work with our budget- they were 2-3x the cost without justification. We politely declined and was sent a nasty email from the architect. I would not recommend this company, we saw many red flags from the start.

Hunter did a great job with our families property. We were open to ideas and just gave him a small idea about what we wanted in our design. He took it and gave us a beautiful design and a wonderful outdoor space in which we can entertain. He has a great eye for design and is very knowledgeable both about what planting s we should use and how our spaces intersect and move between one another. Highly recommend Hunter as your next designer.

RidgeGate West Village demands a high attention to detail with regards to landscaping. Jonathan Knapp has been on the property for only a short time, but has been outstanding. His communication skills are excellent and he has been very good at proactively anticipating the needs of the community.
