Ryan and his team were great! Showed up the very next day and provided me with a great estimate. He started the work immediately. I have an Oak tree that's overgrowth was becoming a nuisance to my neighbors. They did a fantastic job of trimming it and had the foresight of how it would grown in for the future months. Saving me money on future trimmings. I was very concerned about the squirrels that live on that tree. He went out of his way to make sure he didn't trim the branches I enjoy watching them play on. I highly recommend Ryan and his team. I will be using him in a few months to remove 2 trees in my back yard. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Great job guys!!
Great experience purchasing sod ! Ryan and his crew were great to work with. They laid new Zoysia sod in our front yard after cinch bugs killed it and the installation process was great. We had to wait a few days for delivery but ryan the owner kept communication during and got it done for us promptly. Thank you!!
I knew from the start I was hesitant when he shows up in slide shoes to do the sod job he was hired for. After about 10 seconds of raking he started laying the sod down. I asked why he wasn’t leveling out the dirt first, it was going to be a pretty different level from the rest of my grass. He said once it started growing it would level itself out. I have minimal knowledge so I trusted his word. Then I asked why there wasn’t any top soil being laid first and he said it isn’t needed. And also said he would come by with a couple of extra pieces that he ran short of, he never did. Just under $400 we were charged. After almost three months, watering twice a day it all has died, my yard is so uneven, and looks absolutely terrible. Highly recommend to stay away. Due to not being able to respond to the comments you have left, I will add to the review. I’m not to sure about your response for the slides response, personally doesn’t make to much sense after watching you laying the less then half pallet, not full pallet as stated. But I’ll just stop in any comments of the slides, just not very professional in your line of work. Besides that point, the yard that had sod played was fully blocked off by temporary fences to protect the areas from the animals and children. We followed your guidance by how to care for the sod. You are just trying to cover yourself because you did a very very poor job. We have had other sod companies come out and were saddened by how poorly you did the job. And felt sorry for us for the job you did to us. I’m not going to continue to go back and fourth, you apparently have blocked me from your facebook, I assume because it wasn’t the review you liked. I have wasted enough money and time on a business that isn’t out to help and provide a service they promise. You screwed us and others. Hopefully others will avoid your services and not end up in our situation. Best of luck hope you can do better for yourself and others.
Ryan did a fantastic job restoring our overgrown grounds into a showplace. He’s a real Pro, a very good value and a stress free experience. I will definitely hire him again, in fact we already have. I found Turf Savers through facebook, so was wary at first with the requirement to pay a large portion up front for the purchase of the grass, but after doing research found that the owner is legitimate and true to his word. After receiving the initial payment (in excess of $1,000), they still showed up with good sod and installed it appropriately as discussed. I had them come back a second time for a total of 7 pallets, and the lawn looks good. Scheduling communication could have been better, but overall positive experience with a great looking product. Edit to add: pricing was significantly less expensive than going with the corporate teams.
They did an awesome job! My neighbors are raving about how great my lawn looks now. Pricing is very reasonable!! Quick scheduling and completed prep/installation in the projected amount of time!
Turf Savers was very responsive with getting the pricing to us, very affordable, and finished the work quickly. That part was awesome. I can’t complain about that. As for the quality of the work…very poor to say the least. They left areas incomplete and or very sloppy. Did not look like prideful work. If you hire Turf Savers just be prepared to have another landscaper come in and repair the mess and or incomplete work that they leave. Go with Extreme Green! They are more costly but you will get a quality job. You get what you pay for. I learned that lesson. 2/24/2024 After seeing the response by Ryan, I changed my review to 1 star because there was nothing lower to select. Apparently the customer is always wrong when hiring Turf Savers. You can judge for yourself by his comments below. He had a chance to come back and fix his sloppy work. It was very careless and showed no pride. My HOA did not approve of the way he tied my lawn into my neighbors. There was ponding in there yard. Extreme Green fixed it properly and the ponding is gone. I’m sorry young man but you are delusional and really miss the point when doing work for your customers. You want some more pictures? Here you go. Looks great…I would say not. Don’t worry though, someone else fixed it. Somehow I think this happens a lot with you guys.
Awesome turf! Had just what I needed as my puppy 🐶 dug up the yard. Price , quality and availability are right on target! I will be purchasing more sod soon from Turf Savers Landscaping in Flagler County, Florida.

Ryan is a super sweet guy that goes above and beyond to help the community. He rented a U-Haul truck, loaded it with sand and distributed the sand bags to those in need during the hurricane. He came to my home, my grandmothers home and few of my clients homes! I offered and offered and offered money and he continued to refuse I finally worked on him and all he d allow me to give was a small donation! Ryan thank you so much! God bless you!!!

We did not have a good experience with this company. The sod that was delivered was excellent quality. The installation was not. Interesting the first review is the wife that owns the company. Shame on me for not doing more research on reviews. The Yelp review is accurate.
Ryan at (Turf Savers) made the process of re sodding my backyard quick and painless. Signed a deal on Monday and by Thursday it was installed. Good quality sod and I m very pleased overall.

These people just serviced my lawn and did a great job, they arrived on time worked Non-Stop and did everything they quoted. He said he would come back in a couple weeks and check on things and see how my weeds were doing and continue maintenance.
I cannot Say enough great things about Ryan and his team ! We are military and stationed in SC and had hired another company to lay sod on our recently excavated / yard. The other company was fired after they left a horrendous mess- we had missing sod and a huge steps of sod due to being unlevel (also sod was laid on unprepped ground and was dying ) Ryan came over the same Day I called and provided a few alternatives to fix the mess but recommended the less expensive route. He even squeezed us in to get it all done before our retirement party (a week later). Our yard is now amazing and we have people Stop and compliment it all The time. Ryan is prompt, professional , trustworthy, reasonably priced and went above and beyond and communicated without delay Highly recommend!
Hired Turf Savers to lay sod at a client s residence in Palm Coast. Sod came out great, so I decided to add the lawn maintenance as part of the service. Ryan was not responsive nor was he professional in his responses to questions about scheduled time/date for the lawn maintenance. He acted annoyed when he was asked about honoring the contract of weekly service and would take days to answer calls or texts. When he finally showed up, the job was incomplete and remained that way for weeks to the point that it was decided to forgoe the contract that was paid in advance and simply move on to another provider. When Ryan was approached for a partial refund he simply stated No refunds and that y all have been nothing but annoying me the entire time Well, I guess that means in Turf Savers business model, the client shouldn t ask when will you provide the weekly service that s was paid for in advance?!?! Word to wise, pay monthly, do not do 6 months in advance if you are unhappy with their service, they will not understand why and will not issue a refund regardless of reason. When the service provider complains that the price isn t worth the hassle and then doesn t provide the service they were contracted to, the reaction should be breach of contract and refund. In this case, I simply said his services were no longer needed and that a prorated amount should be refunded. That did not occur, he simply stated no refunds and tried to hold me hostage in a contract that lacked proper service. I took the loss so that the yard could be properly maintained by someone more professional and timely. It s unfortunate that business was handled in this manner by Turf Savers.
My Husband found Ryan Witteman on The internet and requested a quote for landscaping and lawn service as we had just moved to the Palm Coast Area. He came over the same day! A few days later he arrived with a helper , mulch, new plants etc. His attention to detail is very much appreciatted! I HIGHLY recommend Ryan and his company for ALL your Lawn needs! Hired Ryan and his crew for 2 jobs which they did well. Hired them again for a third job which required the purchase of Bermuda and or Bahia sod in which he required a deposit of $80 and I paid him through Zelle on 09/26/2022. He then told me he would get my pallet on or after 09/30. Now he is not answering my calls. I recommend if you hire Turf Savers you dont pay a deposit only pay after all the work is completed. I am out $80 however I learned my lesson I dont have time to be calling and chasing people. So basically that is theft.

They removed existing rock and plants. Transplanted the bushes in the back yard. Put down St. Augustine sod. Good job!
Overall good job, replaced mulch area around house with rocks, looks good but cost overrun from my initial estimate. Ryan did guarantee his work so will update if anything arises differently. I think the edging will need to be re-done at some point, those loose rocks may need something more permanent.
I work for a tree service and after a couple of jobs we have done, we have called Ryan afterwards to resod and do landscape design because we tore the grass up.. he and crew came through for us and did amazing jobs. Highly recommend turf savers
Ryan, shame on YOU!!!!!! Not only was the design horrible,with no sign off, my plants are all dead. I asked why or if they have a warranty. He gets back a week later with a simple (NO) how unprofessional.
