Evergreen Lawn Care of Brevard LLC in Palm Bay

They have done a couple jobs at my house. I felt prices were fair and they showed up and did the work when they said they would. I would use them again for a landscaping job.

So contracted them for backfill and compaction. They never compacted, they only didn't level the dirt out leaving most of the large pile in the lawn, all caught on video, the two young workers standing around, doing nothing. First I owned a landscaping business and had thousands of jobs grading, making rockers, landscaping for pool bulds,compaction, and a lot more. I sold this business to get my Engineering degree from MIT in materials mechanical engineering. In my carreer I engineered pools, concrete forms, electrical design, CATV, Fiber trenching, and much more. Never had to get a revision from approval office once, that's how good my designs were. When you dont compact it can cause major cracks in your pool and decking, this company could have cost me $100k in repairs down the road for their lack of completing the job they were hire for. Thankfully they did such a horrible job it was painfully obvious just looking at it. When I was walking around the edge of the pool my foot sunk deep into the non compacted soil, scraping my leg against the shotcrete bad. I had to hire someone else to come out and finish the job. When they sent the invoice and I asked when they would complete the job, they threatened lein against my house. My staff lawyer for my businesses is going to have fun bankrupting them if they dare. All I ask is you complete the job you were contracted for, simple.

I’m honestly speechless about this business. I had a pool backfill with compaction job coordinated by the business owner Jenn. She was pleasant and respectful until I informed her the job wasn’t complete. The area around the pool was backfilled, however not leveled or compacted. I have a security camera in direct view of the area that I reviewed to make sure. She threatened going to her attorney and putting a lien on my property if she didn’t receive payment. I was taken aback considering I only got half the job I contracted for (with no quality.)

Stay away from this company!!! They damaged my plants that were inside of borders surrounding trees. Instead of using an edging machine, they used a weed whacking apparatus which cut the tree trunks. They cut off several plants in their carelessness. I complained to Mike but saw no improvements. I had prepaid them for the year but had to terminate them because they continued harming my plants and borders. They never refunded the $375 that they agreed to return. They made up several excuses. This is the Evergreen ran by Mike and Jenn. I replaced them with a wonderful company called Lopez Landscaping & Lawn Services. If you refunded the money, prove it. Because I never received a check or other form of reimbursement. You still owe me $375 based on your own email to me.

Evergreen was contracted by my pool builder to complete the grade as we were nearing the end of our pool build. From day 1 we complained to the pool company that it was not level and that the job was done incorrectly. They took much of our dirt from the job site and used it as fill at another site. The slope of our the hill on our back property line did not match the neighbors' on either side. In fact, the left and right ends of our property didn't look like they had been graded by the same company. The 2 ends of our deck were not even--one end was inches above dirt level, while the other side barely was above the dirt. After our builder wouldn't make it right, I contacted the subcontractor directly. I sent photos while on the phone with the owner. She was very receptive and I was relieved that this aspect of the project would be made right.When someone came out--they said it was done correctly--end of story. Our pool builder was a nightmare--leading to a facebook group of unhappy customers so we could share our helpful hints and frustrations. When I posted about our grade in that group, I suddenly had friendly calls and texts from the owner. It seemed that communication had opened up and somehow I would leave this aspect of the project behind with a better opinion of the company--even through we had spent hours shoveling dirt to redo the grade ourselves. Lots of talk about their "moral compass" was just that--talk. Communication stopped just as quickly this time around. If you can be home to inspect the work before they leave the site, you might have better results.

We have been using them for a while and for the longest time we have been asking them for our bill (voicemails and text msgs) nothing sent over to us! We tried numerous times to get them to send us a bill months later they sent us over several bills to pay at once which is fine the money owed! I paid most of them we have tried numerous of times to reach out to them to see what the remainder was as it is all confusing they are still unresponsive!!! Never return calls never answer text msgs!! I would have loved to keep them because they did great work but figuring out your bill is crazy because they are not on top of their bills!! If they would like to fix this issue please reach out to me and I will be glad to change my rating as of right now their communication is horrible!!!

Evergreen was instrumental in the backfill and dirt removal during our current pool construction project. We had some erosion concerns due to poor planning on our pool construction company's part and Jenn was very accommodating and showed genuine concern and care for making sure the issues got resolved. Mike and Jenn are a great team and they have amazing employees. They showed up when they said they would, delivered on their promises, cleaned up the work site, and followed up to ensure everything was completed and done to our satisfaction. We look forward to continuing to do business with them when it comes time for our final grade, sod, landscaping, and continuing maintenance needs. They are awesome!

I was referred to Mike (owner of Evergreen Lawn Care of Brevard LLC). This is NOT to be confused with other "Evergreen Lawn" companies in the area. Our wonderful local realtor, Sheri Frizzell uses Mike and his team for various properties she manages in the area. He was prompt in responding to me (within 24 hours) and then came by the house to view the property we are renting so he could give me a correct quote to trim the overgrown palms trees, shrubs and one tree touching the gutter of the house. He gave a respectable quote. He told me he would touch base the next week to give me an exact day he and his team could come do the work. Mike worked with my schedule and called on a Tuesday and his team arrived on Wednesday on time. Both Mike and his 5 team members were not only on time but they were also courteous, polite and cleaned everything up afterwards in their trucks to haul it away! My husband and I are extremely happy with their work and would absolutely use them again for any lawn care, trimming, etc needs. They were knowledgeable about the trees and shrubs as well. You will not be disappointed in hiring these professionals. The pride they show in their work will be displayed in our property.
