Gabriel's Companies, Inc. was formed as a family of companies to provide clients with a 360 DEGREE APPROACH to property management. Our story began with the founding of Gabriel's Landscaping Inc. in 1984 by Gabriel Marquez Sr. as a lawn maintenance company. Over the years the company has evolved and began offering diverse services, including Tree Care services. At that point the company transformed to Gabriel's Landscape & Tree Service, Inc. proving a full array of services from landscaping to tree care. As our services offerings continued to grow to larger construction jobs our divisions were streamlined and each became their own company. All of these service providers are now subsidiaries of Gabriel's Companies, Inc

The workers were all professional and polite. Everything was explained to me as they went along. They asked for my input at frequent intervals . They did a wonderful job of cleaning up afterwards. I was asked afterwards, if I was satisfied, and I replied I was extremely satisfied. I would certainly recommend them to anyone interested.
We love our patio! We are very happy with our finished patio, Timbertech stairs, landscaping and tree removal services from Gabriel's Landscaping. Gabriel was patient, listened to our ideas, and made suggestions to help complete the look. He was responsive to any questions we had, and was clear on pricing. We received several quotes & the pricing was comparable to other landscaping companies, but Gabriel's responsiveness was the reason we chose this company. His team worked very hard in the heat of July and they were always on time. This is a quality team of landscapers who take pride in their work and doing the job right. Thanks Gabriel - I would recommend this company to others!

We called Gabriel's last year for both tree removal and landscaping. They did an awesome job. They were prompt, professional, and did exactly what we discussed. We called them again this year for spring clean-up!!
Gabriel has been an excellent landscaper. He has helped with various projects like drainage and cutting down trees and charged us reasonably and his men have done high quality work. I highly recommend his services in a time when it is hard to trust contractors.
From start to finish, one of the best contractors I've ever worked with. Gabriel paid close attention to what we wanted done, and offered his own ideas on how to achieve exactly what we wanted. He was responsive to any questions we had, and addressed any and all concerns in timely manner. By the time project was started, we knew exactly what we were going to get, and we knew that the job would be done right. His employees worked hard, were always on time, and paid attention to detail all while respecting our schedule. When the project was completed, they took time cleaning up, and restored any parts of the yard that were damaged as a result of the work being done. If you ever need landscaping done, and done right, I can't think of a better group to get it done than Gabriel's.
We called Gabriel's in May to do some work for us for big project in backyard and they said they would start in few weeks by June. We wanted trees removed, wild flowers removed, fence put in, sod put in areas of removal and a spot in front yard. We waited and never heard back. Finally in August I emailed and said forget the job since we waited and haven't heard back. They call back and apologize and said we forgot about you and we will be there asap and offered small discount so we accepted. They started in September and the work they did me and my husband were not happy about. For almost 6 grand we expected a clean job. Their work was messy. They left the area where they cut trees down as is with piles of dirt, wood pieces, and rocks.. They left mess on our driveway with stains, there's concrete in our grass, just horrible. They said they were done and I mentioned the sod for front and they said oh we forgot about that. At that point I said forget it because I was not happy about the job they did. I asked what about the area where trees were wasn't there supposed to be grass. They said no its not in invoice. I said so you're going to leave it messy? I asked if they can at least make it look presentable so they had someone come out level the piles of dirt and throw grass seeds on top of it. So there's grass seeds on top of old dirt, rocks, and pieces of wood. And the 2 trees we told them to keep, they cut off limbs that were in our yard which we didn't ask them to do but left the ones going into neighbor's yards. Even the neighbors who came to see our yard said it looks unfinished how they left it so they said we wont be using them since they were looking for landscapers. Our fence also has green stains and we have to paint or stain it ourselves. Now we have to find someone else to clean up this mess and make it look decent.
Gabriel and his crew came out to replace my neighbors dead Arborvitae with a new one. The tree was right on the lot line between our properties. While grinding out the old stump, they crushed a drain line that ran close to the trees creating a new unwanted pool of water in my yard - I've uploaded a picture of the mess. I contacted Gabriel about the problem and he came out promptly to investigate. He told me that he would send out a couple of guys for a couple of hours to repair the drain. That was the last I heard from Gabriel - he lied and never followed through with the repair. I would avoid Gabriel, there are many more landscape companies out there that are far more reputable than him.

I hired them for a couple large shrub removals and it was a great experience. I called them for a quote, they came out the next day and had my quote within hours - and the quote was inline with the average price I received from other companies. My entire project was done in less than a week and they took care of all the little details. I will definitely use them for future projects.
Romeo was great to work with. Cut down 6 trees for us and installed a play area in our backyard for a swing set for our kids. Very professional and very reasonably priced for the amount of work they did. Will be using them again with future yard projects.
Gabriels is an excellent tree care company that has ensured the health of my very large, very old, trees. Romeo is a tree nerd with a near encyclopedic knowledge of tree care. He has always explained what I needed and why I needed it. After speaking with him, I am confident in what is being done to my trees and that they are safe in his hands.

I used Gabriels Landscape and Tree Services to trim an overgrown tree in my front yard. They listened to my concerns with tree limbs extending over my neighbors roof and my own homes roof. They cut away dead branches with precision and it honestly made the tree look healthier. The crew cleaned up all branches and twigs from my front yard. By the time they we all done, you couldnt tell even tell a tree service had been there, apart from a now stellar looking healthy tree! Highly recommend.
Unlike other service companies, their services are quick response and service, and after trimming the trees, the appearance of our garden has changed. I requested the second service right after the first service.

My relationship with Gabriel s started as some tree removal last fall, but I was impressed with Gabriel and the crew, and proceeded to engage their services for regrading, removing and installing a stoop and sidewalk (and adding a patio), as well as designing and installing landscaping in my front bed. Gabriel s was knowledgeable, and worked with me to adjust the scope until it was something I was completely satisfied with. The finished product matched the rendering they created for me almost perfectly. Gabriel has a great eye and head for landscape design. Everything was quality - the plants, the mulch, the pavers. The crew that performed the work was exceptional. Quick, professional, precise. I ve received MANY compliments from neighbors, and am incredibly pleased with the end result. Gabriel s will be my absolute go to for any landscaping and paving needs. I am completely satisfied with the excellent service I received from Gabriel s and would be happy to recommend their services.
Romeo and his crew did a great job removing branches from big trees and trimming another tree. Cleaned the area of the dropped branches as well. They are very professional, highly recommended.
Requested a quote via their website. They contacted me the next day and set up a day and time to come out to look at the job. Day they were supposed to come out they never showed up. I waited all day. No show, no call, no text, nothing. If you dont want the business, Dont set up the appt.
We had Gabe to our house about three times to plan a large project in the front and backyard , he wrote up a proposal and he left details out so we would try to communicate with him without success, we were patient. We dropped off a signed contract to him at a job and he never called or came back... we waited all summer for him and he just blew us off .

If I could give 0Stars I would. I wont ever be hiring this company. They just almost hit me on Dundee and Smith. I honked because I had the right away and needed his double trailer to stop or I would have had to swerve into on coming traffic. He honked back and flipped me off. Then at the red light on Dundee and Hicks he pulled up to the side of me laughing, eating pizza and waving. Absolutely not okay. So rude and so dangerous.
I had Gabriel landscaping for weekly maintenance. They did a outstanding job each and every week. The spring and fall clean ups outstanding. I would recommend them for all services. In the past they have cut down a couple of trees plus pavers and rock. Great prices on there services.

We and our neighbor had significant drainage problems in our backyards. We decided to work together on a solution and met with 4 landscaping companies that offered drainage services. We choose Gabriel Landscaping for reasons including his experience, references, his patience explaining all aspects of the job, and the fact he promptly responded to phone calls and emails (something we did not experience with some of the others). It was a major job. It included a long drainage pipe between our homes, separate drainage pipes connecting into it from our backyards, connections from our downspouts and sump pump, and then a connection into a city sewer. Additionally, there was some regrading of the backyard, re-sodding over it, and a tree replacement. The end result was we were totally satisfied with job. Gabriel was on-site often to check on the progress and we were impressed at how hard his crew worked on all phases of the job. Another positive was Gabriel came by during a huge rainfall to look at the result. He returned later with his crew to make a few adjustments to improve the flow. In summary, we have no problem highly recommending Gabriel Landscaping.

Gabriels did remediation on a flooding backyard by installing stormwater piping across the backyard and then down the property line to the villages stormwater drain. 2 weeks before having it done we had water in the basement! Been through 1 storm, and rain today and there is no flooding!! They were great and I highly recommend them and there pricing was very fair.
Did good last minute trimming a few years ago. Looking forward to using them again.

I ve been using Gabriel Landscaping for twenty years and always have a great experience. They always completely fulfill the details of the work I request. They are efficient and communicate well the stages of work. They are the first ones I call when my tree needs pruning or more.
We had a large tree removed in front of our house, quick service with a very reasonable price.
These guys knocked a giant tree from our neighbours yard into our yard. It crushed our fence and two other trees. Had we, our dog, or our lawn guys been in our yard, someone would have been killed. Yeah right, controlled fall. ***** About 30 minutes after I posted this, Gabriel came over. He spoke with me about the tree and showed me the rotten area at the core of the tree. He described their attempts to remove the tree, but the rotten area made the fall difficult and unpredictable. He stated they will have a different approach in the future. They are fixing our fence and will be removing the injured trees.
