BJ's Lawn Service Inc in Palatine

I got tired of my front lawn. It looked terrible and was beyond help from weed killer, fertilizer, overseeding. Hired BJ's Lawn Service to rip out the old lawn and lay new sod. They did a fantastic job. They also added top soil and leveled some dips in the lawn. The results went beyond what I expected.

I have used BJ's for many years. Joe is responsive, communicates well but most importantly his crew does great work!

A serious miscommunication occurred between me and the owner. Due to this issue I chose to go with another landscaper which is sad. I know this owner does a great job with two of my neighbor's yards and would of preferred to use him. Lessons learned .

I got a quote for $375 for removing dead tree limbs and a very worn down shed. They came on time and did a amazing job! Also love the easy payment system!

Wow! What a great experience! BJ’s did my neighbors landscaping / Spring clean up / new mulch and it looked so beautiful I had to have my landscaping done! BJs came right on time and did my entire house. The edging they did was fantastic and the mulch was nice and fresh. They went above and beyond and did parts of my yard I didn’t know was included in the quote, they even cut the front lawn when they were done! They gave me a great price and even emailed me to make sure I was happy with the work. I 100% recommend BJs and look forward to giving them my business next year! Thanks again!

This is a service i have had for over 5 years and i have always found them to be great! I can't really speak to the value because i haven't looked around at pricing lately. Like to stay with smaller companies and support local businesses. There has been not reason to look for new services because i have been very happy.

Have used this service for at least 6 years. They are dependable, polite and respond quickly and politely. Two of my neighbors switched over to them after noticing there are never issues. Price wise this is also a reasonable company. This is one of the few services I have stuck with as a customer long term.

I called BJ'S lawn service and asked if we could hire them for a weekly grass cutting but was told that they are not taking new customers at this time. I don't know what kind of business says no to new customers--especially if it is a small job like cutting someone's lawn. I will never call or consider this company again which is too bad for them because in the spring we will be looking for a respectable company to overhaul our entire backyard. The person on the phone was extremely apologetic and when I asked if he knew of any other lawn care services he said no. Again, very unhelpful and rude.
