Phenomenal quality at the best price! The team removed a large tree, growing too close to Capitol Hill row home with the finesse of a surgeon and speed of a bullet train. They did all this while demonstrating circus-like high wire skills that made great videos for our grandchildren. Flawless execution and could not be more grateful.
They answered the phone right away regarding a troublesome tree I needed trimmed or taken down. The owner went a few days later and provided a fair price to take it down or trim it. He provided advice on pros and cons. They removed the tree and cleaned up the yard and removed all branches. I recommend them highly.

I hired these guys after a great review from my neighbor and they exceeded my expectations. Each contractor that gave me a quote said it was a difficult project as they had my house and my fence to work around for this large project of removing multiple large dead branches. After the job they cleaned and put back all of our outdoor furniture. I highly recommend them. Very professional and competitive.
My experience with H and S tree service was excellent. They were professional , courteous, and to my surprise they came a day early, which I absolutely loved. The first call got a response and the turnaround time from quote to them showing up was almost unbelievable. They work fast and are efficient!! The quoted price they gave in the beginning was the same price when the job was completed. I absolutely will hire H and S tree service again. And I highly recommend this company for any of your tree servicing needs.
Very efficient team, arrived on-time, and finished quickly. The area was cleared after — all debris & tree limbs removed. Ariel is very knowledgeable, answer questions helpfully and offers great tips & effective solutions. I would not hesitate to hire them again - in fact, I’m scheduled for another service.
I needed a couple tall oaks trimmed within a tight space next to some fences and sheds (The second tree is right behind the one in the photos). Although this required careful coordination and execution, Ariel and his crew were done in no time. No job appears too complicated for them as they are highly knowledgeable and skilled in their craft. I'll definitely use them again in the future.
I sent pictures of my tree (20' no branches) and they were able to give me an estimate over the phone, $250 - tree, $150 - stump. This was the best of my 3 estimates so it was a no-brainer. The only downside is when he asked and I confirmed that this was on behalf of my HOA. The next I knew I was writing the check and he was asking for an additional $50 because it was more work than he thought. I wiped any gullible look off my face and paid the agreed upon $400. Given that experience, I would consider them for future use but I would hesitate to recommend them to someone I thought could be taken advantage of...
Extremely responsive, and a pleasant experience from start to finish. I called for a qoute, in which H&S Brothers came out right away. Then returned after their first job to complete mine the same day. Would definitely be calling again if I need additional services.

They removed 2 trees and 2 stumps. Fine enough work. They were supposed to come back and plant trees. After calling them for weeks I still don t any new trees. Never once have they called me back with an update on the status of the tress.

Ariel and his crew deserve more than 5 stars. They showed up the next day after we spoke and took down a large Mulberry Tree that was touching the back of the newly finished porch addition on our row home in DC. They didnt hit a thing! Not the house, the neighbors fence or the myriad of planters I had around - I say this as a former home owner of sizeable lots in AA County - 2 different houses and trees and both time with all that space the house had contact made. So Ariel and his crew are tree ninjas that they executed this project w/such skill on this tight lot. They removed bushes and scraggly stuff in the back lot and removed large holly bushes and conifer in the front yard. They left everything spotless, were efficient, friendly and reasonably priced. 100% recommend!

We hired Ariel and his team to remove 10 trees from our property. He was very responsive at first and although he was not the lowest quote, he did match the quote we received. However after cutting down the trees, we did not hear back from him for several days before he came back to grind down the stumps. We were left with a lot of cedar chips for mulch, which he said would be good for planting new trees. He gave us a very reasonable quote for new trees , but then did a bait and switch, trying to give us much smaller trees for the same price. When called him out on it, he stopped responding and then said he would install trees for us, but for $100 each because he hasnt done a good enough job grinding down the stumps to actually place new trees! We found someone else to plant most of them for $25 each, but when he was called back to grind down a stump that hed barely gotten to grind level, he charged $100 and didnt plant the tree. He then said the ground was too hard to plant trees. He seemed reasonable to begin with, but I would not recommend him unless you want a barren yard afterwards.

Call Ariel to get an estimate and he was in my area, came and gave me an estimate and told me he was coming back. Within an hour he came and cut the tree off my fence. Excellent service, I highly recommend them!!!!
Gave me a good reasonable price on removing a tree that was damaged by the recent snow storm. They grinded the stump down even tho it was next to a fence. I would have liked to see the grinding done a little deeper so I could flatten that area of the ground down more but overall it was a quick and efficient process and the tree is now gone and no longer a future bother

H&S just came and pruned my mulberry tree. They were professional, on time, extremely thorough on cutting all the right branches, and they cleaned up all the debris and woodchips. Highly recommend!
Ariel was a pleasure to work with - I happened to catch him at another job site near my house and asked if he could give me a quote. He gave me a quote on the spot (after looking at my trees) and honored it a couple months later when I finally had the trees removed. On the day of the tree removal his crew was fast and proficient. Ariel is very professional, pleasant to work with, and does a thorough job. He and his team did a fantastic job trimming our very large oak tree and 3 other trees on our property. When they finished, they not only cleaned our yard of all debris, but the street where they were loading branches and surrounding neighbors areas. You would never know they had been there! H & S Brothers Tree service is professional and reasonably priced. They were so kind, coming directly from working on a neighbor s damaged tree, to quickly remove broken branches very high up in a large tree damaged by the storm. I called H&S tree service last Friday and they came out the same day to check out my trees and give an estimate. Ariel and his team came the next Saturday and did an outstanding job. Five Star Service! I had 7 old trees in need of some serious pruning. The trees were 40 to 50 ft tall, bordering 3 neighbor yards. It was a big job, but they were able to make the necessary cuts. They also had to prune trees that grew into and were entangled in the telephone wires. I was very happy with their work and plan to use them in the Fall to lay down new grass for my lawn.

He stayed in contact with me during the waiting period and followed regularly. He and his team removed 6 dead trees and cleaned up nicely - left me some of the wood but took most.
