OXCG strives to push boundaries. We believe gardening and landscaping can go beyond spades and rakes and can be used as a catalyst for change right here in our very own communities. We believe we can shoot two birds with one stone by making communities better aesthetically through our service and socially by creating work and training opportunities for the under privileged right here in Oxford. We can help with all types of garden projects, from initial ideas, through to landscaping, planting and garden maintenance. We have extensive experience with gardens of all sizes, working closely with a variety of designers, private and commercial clients, from conception to design, construction and planting.

Jay and his team did an excelent job replacing our fence pannels that had been damaged by a storm. They worked tirelessly to get the job done in a day. Jay communicated promptly, was very accomodating and went the extra mile to ensure he could fit our job in before the holiday season. I highly recommend Jay and his team.
Jay and his team turned a grassy mud patch into a multi-space landscaped garden. They produced fabulous shrub beds, paths, patio paving, lawn and fully resolved an existing drainage issue. Their work rate was impressive as was their 'will do' approach and return visits to ensure everything was completed to our satisfaction. Highly recommended.
Jay was super easy to communicate with! They scheduled us quickly and did a great job tidying up our large garden. The work they did in one day would have taken me a month! I plan to use Oxford Community Gardeners for ongoing maintenance and would recommend them to anyone else in need of a garden rescue.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Jay and his team’s services. Jay is very approachable and friendly, and completed excellent work at short notice. I called very last minute to enquire about garden waste disposal as my husband and I were due to move out of our rental property that week. Jay went above and beyond to accommodate my request. He was able to arrange collection of our garden waste for the very next day, despite having a busy schedule. Throughout the process, Jay was kind and professional. OXCG is clearly a highly community-oriented company that offers excellent quality services!

Out of all the tradespeople we’ve had work on our house or give quotes, OXCG has been the best and most enjoyable to work with by far. Jay came round at least three times before beginning work, his communication was regular and helpful and we have the garden of our dreams as a result! The team all worked so hard and Jay was a perfectionist, ensuring the work was all done to a very high standard, even redoing parts he didn’t like without us asking, and returning to do extra tweaks after they had finished the project. What was an unmanageable space is now like an extra room of our home and we couldn’t be happier. The team are all such lovely people too, so we were sad when they had finished and left! If you’re going to get your garden done, we would highly recommend OXCG!
Can’t recommend Oxford Community Gardeners highly enough! They turned our vision into reality fantastically well. The team were extremely hardworking, even in the height of summer heat. They were a delight to have around, superb with our kids (a nice bonus!) and we felt at ease throughout the whole process. At the planning stage, Jay was great at helping us think through various options and find the right solution for our budget. Jay and his team did a superlative job on my very overgrown garden clearing the jungle like vegetation. Come spring it was ready for landscaping. Jay and his team laid down very good quality turf. In between measuring for turf and laying it down bluebells had grown. Jay and his team made borders and replanted the flowers. Thanks for the great work.

I can highly recommend Jays services. Such a lovely friendly guy and very professional. I had my large pergola painted and my borders re modelled and dug over, removing all the unwanted grass and weeds. Always on time and worked long hours to finish the job. Most wonderful services I have ever had! My garden was messy because of my busy schedule recently and I needed OXCG services for garden tidy-up. My friend strongly recommended OXCG and their service was superb! Their team came on time, the service was really professional and they tried their best to listen to my request. They were amazing and now I have peace in my mind when I see my garden! Definitely I would recommend to you guys and you will see the result beyond your expectation!!!
AMAZING!! Jay was the guys name he was very polite & friendly, also very well dressed I might add. I asked him to pop round for a quote on some gardening work I needed doing. He answered all my questions and was very clear with how & what he wanted to do with my little garden. Within a few days he was here with a few other guys who again were very friendly & well dressed. Overall the work done has been tremendous, I highly recommend them. Deffo been onto Jay about getting my driveway done next but that can wait until after Christmas. Its hard to get good services these days but Oxford Community Gardens are the goooooo tooooo!
