My garden paths were full of weeds so I was relieved when Lewis answered my call and quickly offered me a time to do the work and was clear about his charges. He arrived on time, was professional in his approach, and worked fast in order to restore the garden to good order.
I was so ashamed when I emailed Lewis (on the strength of your reviews!) about fixing the jungle in our back garden and, to be fair, the borders in the front. He was absolutely lovely, saying that it was normal and nothing to be ashamed of, that was how he made his living. That gave me the confidence to send pictures and ask him for a quote, which he duly gave me, and we were able to make an appointment for today. He was here by 9.40am, had a look, asked what I wanted and got started. In two hours, we had a summer ready back garden and front borders we could be proud of (and that wouldn't upset the neighbours). In addition, he was a pleasure to talk to and work with - he really knows his plants, and I loved discovering what these green mysteries were and what they were meant to look like when healthy, and how to take care of them. He asked what I wanted every step of the way and if I wasn't sure, I was happy to go with his expertise. I will definitely have him back to regularly maintain our garden and not leave it so long again. He stayed true to the quote he had given me, which was more than reasonable, given the work he'd done - just a heads up: I'd assumed I'd get an invoice and then pay online, but had briefly thought, 'I should get cash.' Should have done the latter, but he patiently waited while I wended my way through online banking to pay him. So if you want an invoice, ask him in advance, otherwise, have cash on the day so things go smoothly. I can't recommend him highly enough, he's fantastic.
Lewis was absolutely fantastic in dealing with my overgrown garden. It had not been tended to in 9 months and I honestly thought it was too big a job to be easily sorted out. Lewis was incredibly responsive and flexible both coming around to assess the job personally and adjusting his schedule around the weather to ensure the job could be done. He was quick, efficient, and transformed the garden from jungle to actually accessible within an hour. I was incredibly grateful and think it was worth every penny. Lewis is going to be my go-to for future gardening work with the only downside being able to book a slot due to his popularity!
Our garden was really overgrown and in urgent need of care. Lewis did a brilliant job, he responded really quickly to our emails, arranged an appointment very soon and had everything done in an hour and a half. We moved into a house with a very mature garden 1+ years ago, and essentially left the garden be while we got on with other things. Needless to say it was in need of quite a bit of tidying up before spring, and Lewis did an amazing job of not only doing what we asked for, but also recommending other areas for improvement and giving us advice for upkeep going forward. He quoted us a price after I sent him photos via WhatsApp, and he stuck to the price which was much appreciated! Highly recommended.
Garden was looking terrible and overgrown but thankfully Lewis was able to come within days to sort out the mess. The job was done within an hour and a half despite the state it was in! Amazing job done and now we have the perfect garden for the summer! Highly recommended.

Lewis did a wonderful job pruning my apricot tree: he was easy to contact, efficient, and he even gave me some tips along the way. He also charged me less than hed quoted because the tree was so small - a very unusual treat! Ill definitely use him again.

Oh WOW! Talk about incredible work! I moved into my flat almost a year ago, and the garden has been untouched for the entire time. I called it the jungle.; large, wild and overgrown. After calling several places for quotes, I found Garden Maintain. Lewis was quick to respond, provided a free quote through pictures, and his prices are jaw-droppingly reasonable! He transformed my garden in just a handful of hours. We were very pleased with the job Lewis did on our rather overgrown garden. He went above what we had asked him to do (mowing and weeding) by also fixing a broken post on our vegetable patch and tidying up lots of old empty pots. He worked very quickly, but without compromising on the standard of the job. Easy to get in contact with and very prompt to reply to emails. Highly recommended.
Lewis did a fantastic job on my very straggly, weed-ridden garden. His communication was swift and efficient, he has good horticultural knowledge and gave me some very useful advice; he works incredibly hard and takes huge pride in achieving an excellent result. Lewis has been working at our college for over a year now and hes been reliable, hard working and his standards are high. Despite the best efforts of the squirrels and the birds to destroy the lawn hes always done his best to keep it looking good.
If you are looking for a gardener, look no further! Lewis did an absolutely brilliant job to our garden. The wild meadow needed a moving urgently, and also the ivy on fence and house wall had to be removed completely. Lewis at once grasped, what was needed and which result we wanted to reach - and when at noon (after just 3 hours concentrated work) he was finished, he had also tended to the trellises and to the front garden , we had regained a beautiful garden and everything was in shipshape! Smashing and absolutely brilliant! Watching him with his tools was a sheer delight: efficient and masterly. Lewis also proved to be most knowledgeable and punctual. On the basis of some fotos documenting the state of our garden, Lewis had given us an estimate, which he adhered to, so that we knew well in advance, what his services would cost. We will surely ask him to help us again, whenever our garden needs anything!!
