This summer I worked at From the Ground up on the irrigation crew and the tree service crew. I couldn t recommend it enough to other high school students who are willing to work hard and get their hands a little dirty.

I had my annual sprinkler start up appointment today. I ve always had good service from them and today was no exception. I asked my technician if he could adjust a sprinkler to accommodate new plantings just as he was coming to let me know he was done. He handled my request with grace and good humor and got the job done.

Received landscape trimming and shaping in the fall that initially looked great, but resulted in the death of 2 oriental bushes. Regardless, we took care of the invoice once received and did not have any further contact to or FTGU until today when we received a collections notice. We immediately called FTGU to inquire and verify the letter, as we were confused how we received a collections notice on a bill that had already been paid. Again, we also did not receive any contacts or statements in an attempt to notify us that they had not received payment prior to the collections letter. We then verified with our bank that the check had been processed and provided the check number, check date, date of account debit, bank account statement, copy of the check and an additional screenshot showing the check withdrawal to their non-certified accountant. Even with the mass amounts of proof, the company failed to remediate the issue or offer a solution, and we were required to pay TWICE for a single mediocre service or face an impending credit score impact. This is NOT a local business that cares about their clientele and they made that very clear.

Reached out last Tuesday (3/5) and was initially impressed by the companys responsiveness to my website inquiry and promptness to call within a couple hours to arrange an appointment for the following afternoon to come out and give me a bid. Wednesday (3/6) afternoon came and went and no one showed up and no one followed up. Customer service is my number one deciding factor in choosing a business to work with, so its unfortunate this opportunity was lost because there would have been multiple services and continued business that could have been possible.

They have great friendly crews of hard working employees! They do an excellent job in a timely manner. The main staff are very kind and easy to talk to. I highly recommend their services to any businesses in need of snow removal in winter or landscaping in the warmer seasons.

Great quality work and very knowledgeable

I currently have Lawn Mowing and Weed Control of my lawn. They mow my lawn weekly (or as needed) and blow off driveway and sidewalk which leaves everything looking nice. They also did Snow Removal last winter which was completed early enough for me to leave for work by 6:10 am. I am also scheduled for some patio work later this summer. I would highly recommend this company for the many services they offer.

They were respectful of the existing landscaping, careful to clean up all the debris from the tree removals, and unfailingly friendly and helpful at every turn. Ours was a massive project, and we felt that we got an excellent value based on the price paid for the amount of sheer effort expended to complete our job. This has been the most efficient, fast, and reasonable service we have had from a professional since COVID started. We were contacted within a week of requesting a tree removal service and Aaron was out before the week was over. He gave us the right guidance, addressed our initial concerns and asked questions that we never thought to ask, but will make this service above and beyond. I will update once the service has been completed, but based on other reviews and the customer service provided so far, I have no doubts in my mind they are going to get the job done right with equal quality as we have experienced so far.

I had several questions and very little experience with design in a landscaping setting, not only were they patient and attentive, they transformed the presentation of my home into something truly beautiful and inviting. It is evident that the designers put a great deal of thought and care into their work. Aaron was quick to reply to come inspect a very large tree we were concerned about. He let us know that the tree was not doing well. We opted to have his crew cut the tree down and then stump grind. Although his schedule was tight, they got the work done in a professional manner. Knowing the machine would damage the lawn they included seeding after all the work was completed. An added detail is that Aaron communicated with me during the whole process. Keeping me posted on the schedule. Very pleased with this company!

Edit - 2 Years Later, and again the whole crew just did another wonderful Spring Service on our yard and landscaping. I had collected a large pile of downed branches from a River Birch in our front yard, would have been a couple loads for my Ford Explorer, and they picked up that whole pile and cleaned up under all our large, old evergreens to boot. Just great service and friendly crew too. (This from years past - Just had my first service from this company and the crew were very professional and did great work. We wanted our yard and landscaping to have a Spring Cleanup and the crew did a wonderful job. The guys were very efficient and worked well together getting our yard in Tip Top shape.

They were very prompt in getting to my house and giving me an estimate. The 3 men who came to remove 2 very large and diseased trees from my backyard were very professional and very willing to answer my questions. I do not know my current cost as they just finished yesterday. The things I would improve on are making this survey more user friendly for people who dont have google accounts and the other thing that I was not aware of, is that there is tax added to tree removal. That would be a good thing to know up front.

I have 4 trees that have been in need of trimming for the last few years. I got bids from a couple other services, but they never showed up to do the work. I gave From the Ground up a call. They came by within a few days to estimate the work to be done. I received a reasonable estimate of cost and authorized the work. I was told it would be a couple weeks and theyd be here. They showed up when promised and did a great job of trimming the trees and cleaning up the debris. Im a satisfied customer and would recommend From the Ground Up and definitely do business with them again.

My parents were very pleased with the work that was completed by From the Ground Up. Reasonable cost and easy to work with!

Contacted them about cleaning our gutters. They responded right away and was able to get to use very quickly. Received notice that they were on their way and two guys showed up shortly thereafter. They cleaned up the mess that was made from blowing the leaves to the ground. Will definitely use them again.

These guys were absolutely wonderful! The owner answered his phone at 7am the morning after a storm and was very helpful and professional. He let me know what the game plan was and followed through every step of the way. I would highly recommend Mitch and his guys for any of your outdoor projects or maintenance!
