D & D Yard Service LLC. in Owatonna

D&D Yard and Tree Service took down several trees in our Owatonna residential yard. I initially had major difficulty getting any response to remove and trim our trees with other tree services, including a few no show agreements to do the work. D&D said they would do the work. Their team arrived at the time they said they would and expertly and efficiently removed several of our trees and trimmed others, including stump grinding. They removed and cleaned up remaining debris remaining from their efforts, completing the project with soil and grass seeding on areas around the stump removals. My wife and I were impressed by their professionalism. They also rescued me from my own stupidity. I had tried to remove another tree by myself in our backyard. Needless to say it didn't end well. My wife insisted I called D&D. I did. They immediately remedied the situation and I heard no snickering through the process. I wasn't home at the time. Thank You D&D. Dave Funk

Workers accused us of cussing, which they were never cussed at. They said they were offended by the said cussing, didn't talk to them until they started packing up and asked why they were not cutting down the rest of the branches that were in the proposal they said they would come back the following week it's been 3 weeks with no calls back until today saying they would not be back due to them being offended. Also one of the workers smoked while on top of my garage which is super unprofessional, also not replying to phone calls for weeks because you are offended is unprofessional to me. Will never do business with this company again. On top of that they also can't keep their story straight about having a truck to do the said job either, one person said truck is in the shop another person on site said oh we don't have a truck we just climb the trees.. so unprofessional and lairs.

Just had them in to replace a driveway, back patio and stoops, along with some landscaping. Found them very easy to work with and they did an excellent job listening to our wants and desires for the job. They offered advice when we asked for recommendations. Definitly recommend them for landscaping and driveway work.

D & D did a fantastic job on a small patio project. They were professional, did exactly what we asked of them, showed up on time and completed the job in a timely fashion. We will definitely call on them for other projects. Highly recommend!

Our experience with D&D Yard Service was excellent. They communicated very well, and followed through on the work they said they would do when they said they would do it. Our patio, retaining wall, and landscaping have exceeded our expectations. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The worst unprofessional hillbillys. They show up in “business trucks” but nothing could be further from the truth. Their trucks are chipped out beat up junky diesel trucks that are unbelievably loud. They rev them for no reason constantly and hammer on it every time they leave and come back because they forget everything. These cornballs obviously think they are cool but it is so annoying. Go with a professional company if you do not want to waste your money.

Called last week on a Tuesday, said they would contact me by the end of the week, and it is now Tuesday of the following week and I have called multiple times and left a voicemail now with no response. I understand people get busy but you’re a business if you can’t or don’t have the time to help someone politely say that instead of saying you’ll call back and then just not doing so. Unbelievable and frustrating.

I received a letter from this business last summer and they accused me and several other neighbors of putting inappropriate material on their property. If this incident continued they would report the residencies to the police. I would recommend speaking with the surrounding neighbors about the situation rather than accusing them outright with a passive-aggressive letter. Unprofessional management and a rude way to settle into a residential neighborhood.
