This is my 2nd time using Rickert and I am beyond satisfied. The office lady was very helpful with scheduling the estimate and answering all my questions. Every time Todd comes out he is very knowledgeable on what needs to be done and always gives me a fair price. When the crew came out it was a cold and snowy day and they still did a phenomenal job removing 5 of my trees and trimming some others. I can always depend on Rickert and will continue using their services for my tree projects and recommending them to my friends.

I had a disappointing experience with Rickert Tree Service. The tree they planted for me half-died, and while they promised to replace it, they never did. This lack of follow-through and accountability was very frustrating. I wouldn t recommend their services. Smaller jobs are definitely not a priority. Yes, you reached out to me after about 3 years with the same offer you gave me when I paid you to plant the tree. I dont have a problem with paying for the tree. I had a problem with no response to my calls until I left the review, which your response sounds like I asked you for something special. All I want is a living tree in my yard.

I came by early on a Sunday and as an employee was restocking wood, he was able to help load a tub of mix resulting in saving time for me. Thankyou Again!! About three weeks ago I came by right at quiting time and the owner himself helped load a Rick of oak. All I can say is Thankyou for all you do!!

A great job at a very reasonable price! The crew was courteous and worked efficiently. Each person asked if I was satisfied. They cleaned up all the branches, etc. We are very pleased with Rickert and recommend them highly!

Rickerts removed two large Sugar Maple trees and a Yaupon Holly tree from our yard. They arrived on the appointed day and worked the entire day. The trees had become a hazard and were dropping large limbs on windy days so it was a big relief to have them gone. Their team is very responsive and responsible. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

I had a very good experience with using Rickert to remove a tree from my backyard as well as trim another tree. Getting the free estimate, discussing exactly what would be done, and having the job completed was an easy worry free process for me. The workers were kind to me and respectful of my property. The whole process of completing the actual project only took about 3 hours. They cleaned up my backyard beautifully and made sure I was pleased before leaving. I have a beautiful and elderly water oak. A huge branch snapped and partially fell, just missing my roof. Todd came out and found other potential issues high in the tree. I was reassured with their bucket truck that no one would get hurt pruning out bad limbs. They cleaned the yard beautifully before they left and I bet my tree feels a lot better. The office staff have been great to work with also. Would highly recommend this professional company.

I was very pleased with the work Rickert Tree Services recently did trimming several large trees around my yard. Mr. Rickert and his crew were very professional and pleasant, and I thought they were very careful and thorough in the work they did. The job required some heavy equipment and the precautions they took made it so that I couldnt even tell that the machines had been on my yard. This was the second time Ive used them, and I will definitely call them again the next time I need tree work done.

I ve used their bulk campfire wood pickup and after hours payment box for years. It s a great value for those who can t get out and cut their firewood and also can t get there during their normal business hours.

We had a great all-around experience with Rickert! We had their arborist (Todd R) come out for a consult and he helped us decide what we should do with our trees. He suspected our largest tree had root rot so we took the precaution to remove it. Once removed, it was worse than we thought, so Im glad we had him out to inspect! They also topped/thinned two of our other trees and they look amazing. The workers were fast, diligent, and super nice. Highly recommend!

Rickert removed an old dying Birch tree in my backyard that had four large trunks. The crew was top notch with top notch equipment to get the job done. They were able to get to the tree from a church parking lot over a high fence behind my backyard with a crane. The crew did a masterful job of cutting the tree down piece by piece and lifting the pieces over the fence without disturbing the fence or a light post in the parking lot. They ground the large stump down level with the ground to the same height as the rest of the yard and they cleaned up all of the leftover debris from the yard. They do precision work to protect your property from collateral damage while doing the job and got it done in less than a day. This is the second good experience that I have had with Rickert tree service, I would use them again and recommend them to anyone else who needs tree work done.

We had great service with Rickert Tree Service. We had limbs trimmed over our house and a large tree removed. They were fast and efficient. They cleaned everything up and left no debris. Highly recommend them.

Setting up the consult and the day of service was a breeze. Todd was very informative and knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done, had also offered other options if we didn t want to remove certain trees. Only reason I m giving four, and not five stars is the lack of communication after the service. We decided not to get one of the trees removed after the quote was given and the office manager tried to just give us a discount of $100. I reached out to Todd to double check and he fixed that part. We also had a tree limb that was left behind from the service that died and started to sag so I asked them to come back out to fix it. Emailed on a Monday, and texted on Wednesday but got no response and then a few days later, there were workers in my yard. Glad they got it done since I already paid but would ve been nice to get some heads up.

Jonathan, Javier, and Lorenzo showed up right on time and began to work diligently, clearing out one big tree and several smaller ones as well as doing some trimming. The team from Rickert Landscaping &:Tree Servce that came out to trim the 8 very large trees in our yard did an awesome job. They were very professional and courteous. To get the equipment to our backyard they removed a portion of fence. Afterwards you cant tell it was moved & put back! The cleaned all the refuse even from the roof. Before leaving They verified that all the limbs were removed that we wanted removed.

They did exactly what they said they would do!! That in its self is worth 5 stars, in a time when that is hard to find. They were polite, respectful of my property, and working in 100 degree weather!! I would recommend!!

Rickert did a fantastic job of taking out a large Cottonwood, removing two stumps, and trimming up the other trees around my property. The team was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. They did a walk around with me ahead of time to ensure we were in agreement on what needed to be done. I m not a tree expert, so even when I was mildly unclear on what I wanted them to do with the trimming, they were able to supersede my expectations of the final result. They were even flexible and accommodating enough to add on additional work as I saw a couple of other things that I wanted them to do. In the end, we did another walk around to view that they properly cleaned up and that I was satisfied with the results. The work they did, the manner in which they did it, the communication throughout, and the cost effective amount they charged, left me on the winning end. My only regret is not having my own before and after pictures to post for you all. On a side note: my initial service date was cancelled by Rickert, because of the Claremore tornado. I had been on the books for a while, and was eager to get this work done. When they called to cancel, so they could adjust with damage cleanup, I was even more sure that I chose the right company. I know other people might have been upset with being pushed back, but this shows their dedication to the communities around this area. I recently had Rickerts Tree Service out to my house to trim four trees that were damaged by strong winds and just needed trim on the others. The Rickerts crew did a very thorough job explaining to me exactly what needed to be done and also asked me for my input if I wanted to change anything. They did a great job on the cleanup and also reviewed the project with me one more time once finished to make sure I was happy with their work. The guys went above even what I had asked them to do. Everything looks great after the tornado took out several trees. They raised canopies and cleanup was awesome!!

We have used various tree trimming and removal services over the years and have had pretty good results, but Rickert Tree Service is in a class by themselves. They have equipment second to none and their employees are very knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. We have used them several times on hard jobs and they did everything we asked and when they were through and had cleaned up, you could hardly tell they had been on our property. Had tree damaged in recent tornado. Very close to house and at risk of falling anytime. They were supposed to do a drive by assessment then they were to call/email to let me know recommendations. I called on a Friday. Was offered an appointment the following Wednesday but told should be sooner since i didnt need to be there! Never saw or heard from them after calling to make initial request. Update: due to urgency, weve went another company that made it by in timely manner.

We have a huge oak tree in our back yard that needed some attention. Rickert Tree Service came out and did a wonderful job removing large branches that were hanging over our roof and over lines to the house. Our tree is so beautifully shaped now. The crew was very careful with and did no damage to our flower beds and landscaping. Very pleased with the service and will use them again.

My husband and I are over-the-road truck drivers. We get limited time at home. My husband started taking down some trees from winter storm damage well he just ran out of time. We called Rickert and they were able to send someone out that day to get an estimate and talk about the job we needed completed. They were awesome. Lucky for us they were able to come out the next day. Chewed up all the stumps, finished taking out the damaged trees, and hauled it all away in just a couple of hours. Rickert s fell 3 large dead trees, and trimmed branches on 2 live trees next to our house. Rickerts spent a full day in our yard. They took down 3 large trees, trimmed limbs off our roof, shed and RV cover. They trimmed dead limbs out of several trees. They cleaned up so well that other than some sawdust you wouldnt know that they had been in our yard. The guys were all very nice. Highly recommend.

Excellent company!! Last year they trimmed the 3 Huge trees in my yard which had not been taken care of in years. Excellent job and I cant imagine how many limbs would have been down in last years Fathers day storm, if that hadnt been done. A few days agoI had them back to remove bushes that were along my back fence. Also trimmed up the trees again at my request because of last years storm. Again Excellent job, very reasonable on price because it doesnt take them long. They have the right equipment! Highly recommend and I will always use them.

I highly recommend Rickert Tree Service. They removed a large old Maple tree in my backyard. They arrived promptly at 8:30am with their crew and set up the equipment and got right to work. They finished up in about two hours. They cleaned up the limbs and pieces of trunk and even raked the yard and blow off the patio. They are total pros and have the equipment and experience to get the job done!

I was following one of their company vehicles today, and to my surprise the driver displayed excellent safe and courteous driving skills not once but twice, helping other drivers to avoid trucks and workers on the side of the road. I don t know about their tree service, but surely someone who practices that kind of respect and safety on the road does the same with their work on trees and landscaping. This made my day, as unfortunately the norm has become aggressive and selfish driving, but this Rickert s driver exemplified kindness and respect - encouraging to see.

Satisfied customer! Very happy with the results! I had several trees needing various types of work ... regular maintenance and clean up, raising the canopy, creating clearance between tree limbs and the house (and other structures), removing storm damaged limbs, etc. For one mature tree with a fair amount of storm damage, the initial plan was to remove the tree. A few days prior to our scheduled date for the work, my wife asked to reconsider removing the tree. Todd and Jason came out and reassessed the tree and determined there would be enough healthy vegetation remaining after removing the damage. This should give the tree a good chance to fill back in over the coming years. The crew performing the work was a pleasure to work with. They were professional, knowledgable, polite and friendly. They gave me the opportunity to observe and provide input on what they were doing. Big thumbs up!

Exactly what I was looking for. Extremely knowledgeable about the health of my tree and where to make the cuts to clean up straggly loose branches. My huge oak is ready for a Tulsa spring! Estimate one day- with copy of license and insurance, and they were able to fit me in the next. They cleaned up so well my yard has never looked so clean! 4 - 4in diameter evergreen trees were removed. They took care of getting electrical, cable and gas lines marked. They came on the day agreed upon. The trees and flower beds were inspected and I was given a quote of $1200 to to $1600. I was warned there was a small chance of damage to my shrubs, sprinkler lines and gutter drainage lines. 4 workers showed up with 2 trucks. The trees were carefully removed by hand and pick. There was no damage to any lines or shrubs Cleanup was excellent, not leaving a trace of the tree branches. The workers were polite and informative. I can highly recommend this tree service. This was a small job for them as they had removed a 4ft diameter tree the day before. Oh, by the way I was charged the $1200 based on the length of time of the job. One of the owners called the next day to see if I was satisfied. ABSOLUTELY!!!

We were exceptionally with pleased with their work on our trees. They look great! They completed the work in a little over an hour and cleaned up the yard including some things that were present before they even started. Would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone needing tree care.

We had an idea of what we wanted to do with an area of our facility that had some unkept and dying trees. Todd came out and gave his expert opinion on some of the trees that we didn t even realize were no longer healthy. He explained and answered our questions to help us understand. When the crew showed up, they got right to work. Todd came out to make sure everything looked good before they started packing up equipment. He noticed that we had another tree with a few dead limbs and ones that were hanging low and offered to trim those before they left. Rickerts had done an excellent tree job at my parents home after it fell and so thats when we first began getting our firewood at their place in Owasso every year. Can always count on quality wood. They dont deliver it but we manage to get a friend with a truck to assist us in loading it. Friendly people there also. Highly recommend them!

Our family has done business with Rickerts since I was a kid...from tree trimming to storm damage removal, they are fair and deliver on their commitments. We also use Rickerts for firewood, both for our fire pit and for our smoker. The selection of smoking woods is excellent and the prices are great too. This business is family owned and successful because of how well they treat their customers. Were fortunate to have this business right in town but its definitely worth the drive if youre looking for quality firewood or wood for your smoker!

Contacted Them and Received a prompt call back for an estimate. The Estimate seemed fair for the amount of Work I was having done. They estimated about 3/4 of a day. After hurricane Ian we lost two large trees. Rickert Tree Service came to help us in very professional and timely manner. The guys were amazing. It was a great price for the amount of work and equipment brought in. The guys worked all day and very professional. The one of the trees was massive Rickert brought it down with easy. One sprinkler head got broke, I wasn t excepting them to watch out for the sprinkler system. They not only brought it to my attention, they also repaired it. Would highly recommend rickert.

I asked multiple times if the firewood was seasoned, and they assured me that it was. When we went to load up, we could see that it wasnt, but we had already paid, so we took the wood in spite of our reservations. Big mistake! Its snowing outside, and our old wood from last year is burning beautifully in our fireplace, but our new wood from Rickert refuses to light. What will we do for the rest of winter?

Their firewood is not seasoned as advertised. We confirmed with them before paying, but then were given totally unseasoned wood. Put it in the fireplace today and didnt even burn through. EDIT: Again the issue is that the company told me that the wood was seasoned, when it was not. They took my money, said no refunds, then took me to the pile. If they were straight that they had no seasoned wood available, there would be no problem.

Got firewood for this winter storm, and it is not seasoned wood. It is not burning well at all. It has water coming out of it, and having to move it around to even get it to burn.

Watch out for their drivers on the road, reckless is to be put mildly. Deliberately cause backups and cut off other vehicles. Must be a game to them, they probably dont own the trucks or maybe they would care, but maybe just not that bright. Id go with the second.

Got an estimate to have a huge tree cut down and stump grounded. The estimate they quoted was TWICE the amount of two other tree services.

Been buying wood here for a couple yrs. Very nice people. Call ahead a day or two if you have a trailer, and they can load it with a dump container one rick at a time!

I had a 49 foot tree that set about 4 feet from my back deck and had phone and power lines that ran by it on one side in a small fenced in yard. They cam out to give me a bid for trimming some other trees and when they looked at this one we started checking it as there had always been a cavity on one side at the bottom and we determined that it had decayed in the center up to about four feet and there was very little holding it. They came out when scheduled and had all the equipment needed to cut the tree and lift it to the side yard and cleaned up before they left for the day and when the job was finished the yard was cleaner than when they started and they raked and blew the yard. I would highly recommend them to do your job as they all were supper to work with.

Today is June 6 2020, the job was at 29th and Pittsburgh in Tulsa , rickerts showed up and did a job for my neighbor, my kids were outside watching, there was a nice guy trimming up the logs as they were brought out with a skid steer,, the skid steer operator was Hispanic and was totally unsafe, he drove out really fast during a big limb as the other guy was trimming the tree and almost hit him I actually think he got hit with a small Branch but was not paying attention the operators in charge of his surroundings and he did not do that and then theyre throwing hands up at each other I couldnt hear what they were saying because of the loud noise from the equipment Ive heard nothing but good things about this company but today I saw unprofessionalism thats why Im giving them at 1 star rating even though they didnt do a job for me you never know whos watching also they have no orange cones around there working area and theyre using a crane and not wearing hard hat Im not trying to be a stickler here but Im a big guy when it comes to safety first

Fair and honest. It wasnt the news I wanted to hear, but my 60ft maple had to go. One day of hard work, many limbs later... and the back yard looks awesome. Cleanup was perfect and they leveled everything out to prep for new grass.

The lady in the office is nice. So are their puppy dogs. Usually a good selection of wood to choose from and competitive prices. Reason for only four stars is they used to help you load your wood. They dont anymore.

They did an excellent job on a very large pine tree and a smaller tree. You cant even tell there were trees in those spots.

We have had nothing but problems with Rickerts. They were late or didnt show up at all. On the day that they were going to come out and give us an estimate, they showed up 6 hours late. They then said that if we would allow them to take the tree out that day, it would be $150 cheaper, because they wouldnt have to spend the extra gas to come all the way back out the next day. We were excited because we want this tree gone!! The man gave my husband an invoice and shook his hand, and said that the crew would be here in a little bit. Finally after the sun was already set, Sharon from the office called and said the crew got stuck at another job and would it be ok if they came the next day!? Its not like we had a choice considering you cant take a tree down in the dark!! My husband asked Sharon if we were getting the same price for the tree since it was not our fault for them not coming that day. She said that she didnt know but the guys would be at our house at 11:15 am. the next day and we would have to ask them. Well surprise surprise, they NEVER showed up, again!! This time there was no phone call, and I tried calling them several times and Sharon never answered the phone nor did she ever call me back!!! Please save yourself the time and headache that we have had with this company!!!! They are high priced and they have the worst customer service ever!!

Large maple tree removed from our backyard, it was in a tight spot and had to be lifted over the house...it was amazing how well the crew worked together to insure all went well and safe. Tree and stump gone and the clean up was superb...I have used Rickert Tree service in the past and will not hesitate to use them again...very satisfied.

Rickerts Tree Service recently worked on our trees (trimmed 2 and took out 3) and did an excellent job! They also leveled our back yard slightly and installed some dirt and grass sod where theyd taken out the tree roots. Excellent job; we recommend them highly!

Honestly I wouldnt know if theyre any good because I called to schedule an estimate at 11:30 a.m. on a Tuesday and was told they were out running errands and I would have to call back in 1.5 hrs. to schedule an estimate, but it would be at least a week and a 1/2 to get one Other bidders answered their phones and are coming by promptly.

The people from Rickert Tree Service did an excellent job trimming two huge trees away from the roof and out-of-control shrubbery from the siding. They were careful not to damage anything or cut anything back more than we wanted. They hauled everything away, leaving not a stick. They also checked periodically while they were working, to be sure everything was to our satisfaction. The yard looks better than it has in years! These people are fast, friendly, and highly professional. Next time we need work done, I wouldnt even bother to get a bid from anyone else.
