Michael Geist’s Yard Works in Oviedo

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We hired Michael Geist Landscaping to replace the sod around our new pool and add grey granite rocks. Michael handled three pallets of sod and placed 1 to 3-inch grey granite rocks around the pool area, and the transformation looks fantastic. The entire project was completed quickly and smoothly. Michael was always responsive and attentive to our needs, ensuring everything was done right. We’re thrilled with the results and highly recommend Michael Geist Landscaping for anyone looking to improve their outdoor space!

We lost about 50% of our front yard to frost last year. I was positive we would have to re-sod. Called Joe, and he gave us a few options based on our budget. He recommended going with plugs/sand first…boy did it work. So glad we called him first; I would not hesitate to call Joe again for any landscaping needs.

I give Michael and his Company a very good review for a complete re-sod of my front yard, and at a very fair price. It included spreading new topsoil and 7 pallets of sod. They did a fantastic job installing sod in our front and back yard, putting pavers down along the side of our house and rebuilding our irrigation pump and sprinkler heads.The yard looks fantastic now and the dogs love it! Thanks again! Highly Recommended!

Michael did a very good job at explaining what is important in maintaining good sod. Proper irrigation was key. I switched all my spray heads and the results are very good. He did kill all the old weeds and grass (twice) before the old was cut and removed. Make sure as the sod is laid the pieces with excessive crabgrass are not used. Sod with crabgrass is common from the farms and needs to be hand removed as the new sod takes to your yard. Overall I'm pretty happy with the St. Augustine. I keep it mowed to 4" height using sharp blades based on Michael suggestion.
