Salespeople are a bit pushy. Products definitely work though EDIT: Cancelled as I want to try lawn care myself this year and theyve been calling 3 times a week asking me to sign back up. Go with a different company so you dont have to deal with this one day. Its truly remarkable

Scam. Dont give out any info. Im pretty sure most of the 5 stars here are fake In response to the response from weedman: I have a neighbor who had the unfortunate luck of dealing with them, and he cant stress enough how much of a scam it is. They will conduct work on your property without your consent and send you bills. There was actually a CBC marketplace report on them on youtube. Shame on you for ripping people off. I cant believe you havent been shut down.

This was my first year as a client of Mosquito Hero (Weed Man) and I was very pleased with the service. The operators were courteous, punctual and very thorough. I look forward to a future relationship with this company.

Back in 2022 my front lawn was being infested with creeping charlie. I had enough of it so I decided that in 2023 I would call Weed Man and get my lawn treated for the season. They came and by the end of the summer the creeping charlie was gone. All my neighbors kept saying WOW what did you do to your grass. I told them I got tender loving care for my grass. That s how I decided that from now on I get my grass treated. This summer 2024 the crabgrass was the culprit trying to move in on the grass. But once I saw the crabgrass I would pluck it out of the grass and I got rid of it. Anyway I am very happy with the service I got from Weed Man. I would highly recommend this company.

Service is OK. However, they will ring your door bell and keep calling you during work day If you want to discontinue the service.

I have a big complaint. This past year I have had nothing but problems with Weedman. I cant get through to their Ottawa Office and their customer service keeps making promises and they never keep them. Extremely Poor service and no way to contact the Ottawa Office. Last year they were good, this year it has been a nightmare.

Shout out to Aiden who has serviced our lawn this summer and has always been professional, communicative, knowledgeable and personable. Though crab grass has been a pest, our lawn is now free from the vine that was taking over the lawn. The other broad leaf weeds have also gone away.

Service is acceptable however, they have been so aggressive in making you to renew for service next year automatically that you really have to argue and fight with them that you are not interested in renewing the service. So be careful and read your contract and email they send so you don t get into their trap

I am mostly happy with the service, but I have noticed the easement to my yard is not getting treated. I was told when I signed up this area would be treated for weed control as well. I have no grass in the front yard only river rock and flower beds, yet the treatment sign was placed in the flower piercing the geotech fabric which will allow weeds to grow . Mind blown!!!! The sign should be placed in the grass area at the easement around the side of the house.

Lawn care services (fertilizer and weed control) have been done professionally and in a timely manner. Technicians have been very courteous and friendly when visiting our home to explain what services are being applied. They always ask if there are issues or trouble spots on the lawn that need attention. Overall we are very satisfied with the services.

This is my first time using Weed Man and Ive been impressed! The staff treated me like I was an important client, listening to my needs, answering my questions, making suggestions, accommodating my requests all with politeness and a smile - dont laugh - this is not as common as you think! After the first treatment, I saw impressive results within two days. Weed Man had given me the option to return for a 2nd treatment if I felt it necessary. I requested it as I had an area that was originally somewhat inaccessible with 6 weeds. They responded quickly and again, with a wonderful service attitude. I called as a disgruntled customer because I have A LOT of weed on my lawn that s causing me frustration and despite numerous attempts spraying weed control I still wasn t happy with the outcome. This was the second time I was calling in the two years I ve been using the service. I was assured by the agent on the phone that he would do everything to resolve my issue, that he would personally see it that my issues are resolved, and that he would send a lawn care specialist to my home to assess the situation. I was skeptical that he actually would follow through and that the specialist would be able to resolve my issue because this was not first time I d called about this issue.. Sure enough I was wrong. Eli the Specialist knocked at my door the next day. This was the second time he d been sent to see me. But I was impressed that the company sent the same specialist and he remembered visiting me last year. He reassured me that we were making progress based on what he saw and that I have to be patient with the weed elimination. He explained why and gave me a roadmap on how they will work with me to see that I no longer have weeds. While I wanted him to say they will completely eradicate the growth of weed in my front and backyard, I knew it was not realistic. Overall just given the fact that the company followed through on their promises and has sent someone to actually meet me and speak to me face to face is more than what I could expect from a big company like Weedman.

I ve been using Weedman Lawn Care for 5 years. I usually sign up for fertilizer and weed care treatments every year. My lawn looks great. The Weedman technicians are friendly and are able to answer mall of questions about what treatments are required and how much water to apply. I can trust the satisfaction guarantee and I know that they will retreat if I m not happy with a particular treatment. Last week I had a great chat with my technician who was very polite and approachable. He did a great job ensuring all areas of my property were covered.

Second year using this service. You could easily tell that it works, because you could see a distinct line between my yard and the neighbours. Out property had barely any dandelions and the neighbour had quite a few. Very good communications when they are about to provide a service. Highly recommended.

Overall I am happy with the service Weed Man provides however I am not too impressed with the company trying to add on other services for a rather large fee ( like grub control because there were signs in my neighbourhood of grubs). Eli came on Wednesday. He was courteous and helpful. He seemed knowledgeable about options and we promised a call back. I called back on Friday and spoke with Derek who was equally cooperative. That said, it became apparent that we did not fit the profile of what Weedman offers. We agreed to a minor adjustment in treatments and politely concluded the call.

Our crop of yellow dandelions has been significantly reduced. Our lawn also has never looked so green.

We have had troubles with wild strawberries for years and weedman has done wonders for our yard.

They dont work properly. They spray some poison on your lawn and charge you with 100times the cost. And the reality is none of it works

The products used by Weedman do a very good job. My neighbor does not use Weedman. The quality of the lawn in terms of no weeds and healthy grass is abundantly evident in a side by side comparison.

I called Mosquito Hero on Wednesday with my concern that they hadn t sprayed my property in what I thought was an acceptable time from when I bought their services. They assured me that they would be at my home by Friday. I was skeptical. But sure enough, they were true to their word! Eight in the morning on Friday and the job was done! Thank you Mosquito Hero for doing what you said you were going to do in today s day and age where one s word doesn t seem to hold water anymore! Good on you! Thanks Jiri for your help.

To enjoy mowing your lawn you need good grass which Weed Man has been helping with, specifically controlling the weeds and insects as well as fertilizing. My lawn had a problem 3 years ago and I decided to sign up with Weed Man, it was worthwhile and thus continuing. If I have any lawn issues I just need to call once and a technician will come by the next day, sometimes the same day. I dont know how good other companies are, but I have no need to find out

Unfortunately I was not home at the time of the first visit to really see how thing s were done and ask questions. But the level of communication via email and phone was excellent. Follow up was great.

I was told they were coming out today I moved the lawn furniture off the grass, put off mowing yesterday until tomorrow. Today got a text saying they rescheduled it for tomorrow. I am a senior and can t keep moving furniture. Have company coming and can t mow the grass again. I wish I had reported them last year for no sign put up . 10,000.00 fine would have been good. Giving a second year already is a mistake worst service and no customer consideration..should have learned last year.

Adam did an exceptional job repairing my lawn due to tipped lawn fertilizer spreader He came to access the damage (dead grass), then arrived the next day to start the repair by removing the dead grass area. The following morning (a Saturday of a long weekend holiday) he arrived to complete the repair (removed more dead grass, added top soil & grass seed). Thank you Adam. Weed Man Is very fortunate to have you on their team.

Everyone else gets to see a sea of yellow dandelions this time of year. We don t; we need to look into the neighbours yards. The grass in the lawn is so lush the lawnmower gasps between every pass, and we cut it weekly. I mean, we couldn t fit another blade of grass in our yard. And where is my crabgrass? I thought that stuff was there for life? These folks deliver results. We ve been with them for a few years, and it requires some patience to see the full results. But they know their stuff and are worth every nickel. (We all know we don t use cents anymore.) BTW, the neighbours are starting to get quotes for service. Highly recommend.

They also don t put sales pressure on their customers and they take a lot of patience to field every question you have. That s a world class service at best. Do not ever give this company your phone number or talk to their scam-driven door-to-door sales reps. I made the mistake of getting a quote from this company over 5 years ago and have been harassed by calls ever since even after repeating time and time again to take me off their do not call lists. It s unbelievable how incompetent a company can be, I pity anyone who has to work for this garbage excuse for a business and feel awful for anyone who has given them business.

Technicians always on time, courteous and knowledgeable when asked questions about things lawn-related. Results of various applications vary but attributable to nature of our lawn surfaces and not Weedman program. Every year things seem to get a bit better. Will renew program next year.

I just started using this company for weed control. So/so results . But I just started, so I will see. Beware of their aggressive salespeople who cannot take no for an answer. One lady called my house at supper time, pushing additional services at me. She kept pushing and pushing. Wouldnt stop. When I politely declined several times, she hung up on me. I am inclined to not renew with this company next year. It feels like borderline harrassment.

I have struggles with my lawn specifically weeds for a few years. Since Weedman started working on my lawn there is a noticeable improvement to the reduction of weeds and the health of the grass.

Happy with our lawn after it was destroyed by previous renters. We are on year 2 of weedman services and it looks the best it has in years according to our neighbours.

We have used Weedman services for several years & have had no reason to complain about the results, our lawn always looks fine & we recommend giving it a trial.

Third and last year we will ever use this company. Their communication is appalling. Despite telling them repeatedly that they need to notify 24 hour in advance so we can ensure the gate to the back yard in unlocked they still fail - after 3 years! Had the gate unlocked two days ago after being notified (got it right that time) they would be coming and guy phones us and was very aggressive to say the gate is locked and he cant get into the back yard. We asked him to push the button on the gate. We waited on the phone until he did and asked if he is now in the back yard. We got a grunt acknowledgement that he was in. A polite person would have apologized. He didnt. Just grunted. Earlier this summer when we were out of the country we received the automatic invoice that is generated once a service is performed but had received no 24 hour notice so we know they did not go into the back yard! The manager didnt believe us saying all staff at trained to not service the property if they cannot get access. Rubbish! The neighbor next door saw them do the front lawn and leave the sign in the lawn saying they had been! They are also supposed to ring the doorbell each time they come and have had that happen maybe once! Also while we were away, no one reported the fact that more than a third of of back lawn was being demolished by the dreaded chinch bug! Did Weedman notify us? Nope. Yet they were quite happy to keep applying fertilizer and all the other treatments to a lawn that was clearly dead! We came home to a mess! Now I am trying to pay an invoice and there is a system error. We will be looking for another company next year for sure.

We had nothing but problems with this company. The latest is they are trying to force us on to a plan at triple the cost.

This was our first year using the mosquito control offered by Weedman Mosquito Hero. It was amazing to be outdoors and enjoy summer without having to swat them little insects off us. When they application failed (following a heavy rain) i contacted the company using their client account. The representative responded promptly and scheduled a re application ( within 10 days after the first application). The person doing the actual spraying was always courteous and always explained what he was going to do. We will subscribe to the service next year for sure

My first year and I m quite pleased so far. Next years challenges is getting rid of weeds (dandelions) and fall bugs . The grass looks healthier than ever. Received compliments from friends.

I am so disappointed in the Weed Man service. It started out just fine with the spring fertilizer treatment, but two weeks ago I was charged for a weed control application that was not done. I complained and was told to wait 7-10 days to see results, which was crazy since no product was applied to my lawn. When I complained again after 7+ days, they sent a technician who applied the first application. Yet my credit card was charged AGAIN. They claim it was for the second application. Dont make the same mistake as I did. Do not use this company.

They provide excellent notification and follow up to their visits. The person who did the application seemed knowledgeable and she offered suggestions that I could do to improve weed control. Impressive!

We bought a package in the spring, for the first time, because we were tired of this one specific weed we had overtaking our backyard. We ve had to call a couple of times to have them come back to look at some problem spots but they have been so fast at getting back to us, super understanding of our frustrations, and really helpful in getting everything resolved. I wasn t going to leave a review because I thought maybe they were having issues with their calling list but a few months later and i STILL get calls from them for their services. They probably called 20 times since a put a request for a quote and spoke with them to tell them I m no longer interested, I kept getting calls and I kept repeating that i m no interested and to remove me from prospect call list and until today i still get calls. It s harassment at this point, and very unprofessional.

When we moved in, in June 2022, all we had was weeds up to our knees. The professionals at WeedMan rescued our lawn. We now have one of the very best (lush, green, thick)lawns on the street in less than one season. Excellent customer service with outside results. Would recommend without any reservations. We ll see what improvements season 2 will bring.
